“Do you know what a Polish sandwich looks like?” a communist-era joke went. Answer:

Unfortunately, Poles weren’t laughing at the time. We may not be, either, in a bit of time — that is, if our pseudo-elites get their way.

This conclusion is suggested by a new poll showing that, shockingly, 77 percent of higher-income Americans overall and almost 90 percent of those from “top universities” believe in a strict rationing of gas, meat, and electricity in order to combat “climate change.” In fact, nearly 60 percent of such people believe there’s too much liberty in America even though, objectively speaking, we’re less free than ever.

Moreover, in another example of the pseudo-elite vs. street divide, 63 percent of Americans in general oppose the above rationing policy.

Reporting on the story, The College Fix writes that the “Committee to Unleash Prosperity [CUP], in a survey that sought to measure the beliefs of ‘elites,’ stated the findings reveal climate change ‘is clearly an obsession of the very rich and highly educated.’” The site also informs:

The poll, released this month and titled “Them vs. U.S.: The two Americas and how the nation’s elite is out of touch with average Americans,” was billed by the committee as a “first-of-its-kind look at the views of the American Elite.”

They are defined as “people having at least one post-graduate degree, earning at least $150,000 annually, and living in high-population density areas (more than 10,000 people per square mile in their zip code).”

… The report is based on two surveys of 1,000 elites conducted last fall.

“The study also examined a sub-sample of elites, adults who attended Ivy League schools or other elite private schools, including Northwestern, Duke, Stanford, and the University of Chicago. Roughly half of those we classify as ‘elites’ attended one of these schools. For the purpose of this study, we label those who attended one of these schools as ‘Ivy League Graduates,’” according to the group.

In a time when most Americans have suffered a loss of real take-home pay, 74% of elites say they are financially better off today than in the past versus 20% of all Americans.

Nearly six in ten say there is too much individual freedom in America – double the rate of all Americans.

More than two-thirds (67%) favor rationing of vital energy and food sources to combat the threat of climate change.

In stark contrast to the rest of America, 70% of the Elites trust the government to “do the right thing most of the time.”

Two-thirds (67%) say teachers and other educational professionals should decide what children are taught rather than letting parents decide.

Somewhere between half and two-thirds favor banning things like SUVs, gas stoves, air conditioning, and non-essential air travel to protect the environment.

About six of ten elites have a favorable opinion of the so-called talking professions—lawyers, lobbyists, politicians, and journalists.

President Joe Biden enjoys an 84% job approval rating from this group – roughly twice as high as the general public.

Power Line’s John Hinderaker points out, however, that it’s a mistake calling these people “elite” — and not because they’re merely pseudo-elites, wholly unspectacular intellectually and morally. Rather, adding perspective, he writes:

Ten thousand people per square mile represents a high-density urban environment. But in that context, $150,000 a year is no princely salary. Nationwide, it takes far more–around $650,000 annually–to be in the top 1% in income. A person who lives in a big city and earns $150,000 is not, in any financial sense, elite.

So the key element in [the] formula is having a postgraduate degree. Basically, what we are surveying here is people with graduate degrees who live in cities, the large majority of whom don’t make a great deal of money. Many in that group are probably women….

In fact, with these people having been indoctrinated out of their common sense, coming to mind could be the saying, “Never let your schooling interfere with your education.”

As for many respondents possibly being female, note that young women in large cities actually enjoy relative wage parity with men; in fact, they out-earn their male counterparts in several large metropolises.

This said and as the electoral “sex gap” reflects, women are generally more liberal than men are; women are also significantly more likely to support “left-wing authoritarianism,” according to a study cited by famed psychologist Jordan Peterson.

Whatever their sex, however, clear is that a more accurate way than even “pseudo-elite” to describe most of these people is “useful idiots.” As with the liberal NYC parent who balked at “diversity” after an integration plan affected his kids’ school — saying “It’s more complicated when it’s about your own children” — these “progressives” aren’t big on living with their own ideals.

But they’d have to.

Under the kind of government they’d (unwittingly) enable, only a minuscule ruling pseudo-elite enjoy power, position, pocketbook, and perks. The billionaire Soros and Gates clans may be able to buy themselves a place at the table, but $150k (which they’d no longer command, anyway) will place you among the serfs.

In other words, these useful idiots would be subject to rationing themselves — inclusive of the arts-and-croissant-crowd pleasures of which they’re so fond. Our entire modern lifestyle, after all, is energy dependent.

The lesson is that the hellfire demons of despotism can be liberated but not moderated, and will happily consume along with those who’d tighten their bonds, those who would loose them.

Catholic Charities fueling illegal immigration

With no projected end to the chaos of illegal immigration at the Mexican border, some congressional Republicans have decided to confront the religious agencies aggravating the problem — including Catholic Charities,

which plays a pivotal role in human smuggling, as The Stream reported.

Even conservative Catholics are organizing to oppose their bishops' support of open borders.

The Deposit of Faith Coalition held a press conference July 20 in Washington, D.C., to demand that Congress stop funding the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops.

The website Church Militant, one of the members, calls the coalition "a group of about a dozen Catholic or Catholic-led outfits."

The USCCB not only funnels the grants it receives to such agencies as Catholic Charities.

It encourages human trafficking to promote Pope Francis' globalist agenda, as The Stream also reported.

The coalition's press conference represents the latest in a growing backlash against the Biden administration's apathy and religious agencies' social irresponsibility.

In December, Texas Republican Rep. Lance Gooden, a member of the House Judiciary Committee, asked Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, in a letter, for "immediate access to all records and communication relating to your department's border practices and regulations."

The letter accused DHS of "allowing non-governmental organizations the freedom to aid and abet illegal aliens." Two other Republicans, Texas Rep. Jake Ellzey and Wisconsin Rep. Tom Tiffany, signed the letter.

Gooden also sent letters to Catholic Charities, Jewish Family Services and the Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service.

Gooden accused those agencies of "violating federal law and regulation, placing migrants and American communities at risk, and subjecting local communities to unreasonable burdens."

As a result, Gooden wrote Congress would investigate those agencies, which must preserve records of federal reimbursement for food, shelter, transportation, medical care and "various supportive services."

"Taxpayers should not be subsidizing any organization facilitating the movement of illegal immigrants across our border," Gooden wrote.

"When NGOs transport unauthorized aliens into the nation's interior, it becomes increasingly difficult for federal immigration enforcement agencies to monitor their whereabouts and protect our communities."

Pentagon Offers Unusual Reason Why Anti-Air Defenses Failed At Jordan Border Base

(Update 1114ET): Some surprising details and admissions have emerged out of the Pentagon on Monday connected to the drone attack on Jordanian base Tower 22, related to the question of how the base's anti-air defenses could have failed so badly. First, in our prior reporting (below), we linked to Moon of Alabama which asked some key questions not being addressed amid the frenzy of international reporting and growing speculation [emphasis ZH]:

The reporting so far does not answer many arising questions. Tower 22 is on the Jordanian side of the boarder but Jordan insists that no attack had happened on its grounds.

Another anomaly are the high rate of wounded from the alleged drone strike. Drones are used in mass in the Ukraine war but the casualties they cause are usually less than a handful per drone.

The highly automated short and medium range air-defenses (C-RAMs, the equivalent of naval Phalanx guns) at the base should be able to shoot down any drone. Why didn't they work?

Later in the day Monday, some of these questions are being answered. The Wall Street Journal cited US officials who spoke to the failure of the base's anti-air defenses:

The U.S. failed to stop a deadly attack on an American military outpost in Jordan because the enemy drone approached its target at the same time a U.S. drone was also returning to base, U.S. officials said Monday.

The return of the U.S. drone led to some confusion over whether the incoming drone was friend or foe, officials have concluded so far.

The enemy drone was launched from Iraq by a militia backed by Tehran, U.S. officials said. The outpost, Tower 22, sits in Jordan, hard on the borders of Iraq and Syria.

In total three US service members died and at least 34 were injured, with eight of these having been medically evacuated to a hospital in Germany.

At a moment some US Congressional hawks are clamoring to start a war with Iran, WSJ writes further, "The U.S. has yet to find evidence thus far that Iran directed the attack, a U.S. defense official said Monday."

As Maui Struggles to Recover, U.S. Parishes Plan Special Collections to Help Relief Efforts August 21, 2023

The Diocese of Honolulu has two outlets taking donations for relief efforts via: diocese’s Hawaii Catholic Community Foundation .com/MauiCatholic, and the Catholic Charities Hawaii site, catholiccharitieshawaii.org/maui-relief.

Bipartisan Lawmakers Accuse Biden Of Violating The Constitution With Unauthorized Middle-East Strikes

Nearly 30 bipartisan members of the House have sent a letter to President Biden urging him to get authorization from Congress before launching more strikes against the Houthis in Yemen.

The letter, led by Reps. Ro Khanna (D-CA) and Warren Davidson (R-OH), said President Biden was violating the Constitution by launching a new war against the Houthis.

"We believe the US’s unauthorized strikes in Yemen violate the Constitution and US statute. We ask that your Administration outlines for us the legal authority used to conduct these strikes, and we urge your Administration to seek authorization from Congress before conducting any more unauthorized strikes in Yemen," the letter reads.

"As representatives of the American people, Congress must engage in robust debate before American servicemembers are put in harm’s way and before more US taxpayer dollars are spent on yet another war in the Middle East. No President, regardless of political party, has the constitutional authority to bypass Congress on matters of war,” the letter says.

Four senators sent a similar letter to President Biden that questioned his legal authority for the strikes.

The US has now bombed Yemen 10 times since January 12. Britain joined the US in some of the strikes, but most have been unilateral US strikes. The latest US attack was conducted early Saturday morning Yemen time, according to US Central Command.

CENTCOM claimed the strikes on Saturday targeted a Houthi anti-ship missile that was aimed at the Red Sea. Yemen’s Al-Masira TV reported the strikes targeted the Ras Issa port, Yemen’s main oil export terminal, which is located in the western Hodeidah province.

The US strikes have done nothing to deter the Houthis, as they have broadened their attacks on commercial shipping to include American and British vessels. Before President Biden started bombing Yemen, the Houthis said they were only targeting Israel-linked shipping to protest the Israeli massacre in Gaza.

Back when party nominating conventions were more than a rubber stamp of the primary vote, it made sense for an unsuccessful primary candidate to keep running, go to the convention, and see if in the infamous 'smoke-filled-rooms' a deal could be made to move a second or third place candidate up in the floor vote, or to see if a Pres/VP deal could be made to unite the delegates of the opposing camps and secure the needed delegates.

Ikki Haley has no chance of making any deal with the Trump camp, so the only possible reasons for her to hang on all the way to the RNC convention is:

They figure one of the pending court cases is going to send Trump to jail, so the RINOs will make a case that Trump can no longer be the 'lawful' and respected GOP candidate.

Haley's funds are coming from Democrats, RINOs, and Globalists, so no matter the cost, they want Ikki to stir the pot, muddy the water, or whatever analogy you wish to invoke. They want to push the narrative that Trump cannot win because Trump cannot even unite his own party.

Mitch McConnell and Mike Johnson, two wildly different congressional GOP leaders, are about to find out whether they can extract immigration concessions from President Joe Biden — or whether Donald Trump and his allies will pull them apart.

As a bipartisan group of senators labor to deliver a deal that would tie stricter border policies to Ukraine aid, with text expected as early as this week, McConnell and Johnson are facing a unity test that will define their party during the 2024 election cycle.

If McConnell can get a majority of his 49 members on board, while keeping Johnson’s conservatives from strangling the deal, the GOP can crow that it forced Democrats to swallow an immigration deal that would amount to remarkably right-leaning concessions from Biden. If the border-Ukraine agreement implodes, Trump will have cemented his return to control over the entire party.

Johnson and McConnell talk one-on-one regularly, including several times before Johnson first met with Senate Republicans last fall. During that first meeting, Johnson told GOP senators that he needed border security in order to deliver new Ukraine money. Right now, though, some of McConnell’s Republicans warn that he’s failing to read a House GOP that has no interest in policy achievements with Biden in office.

“If you’re going to take a tough vote, you take one but you want to accomplish something. The worst of all possible worlds is you take a vote, you put a lot of political pressure on the House and you don’t get any policy accomplished,” said Sen. J.D. Vance (R-Ohio), a Ukraine aid skeptic. “We’re going to take a vote that only harms us politically,” Vance added. “It also puts our House colleagues in a bad position.”

The Senate minority leader and the speaker are almost exactly 30 years apart in age, but they can bond over one thing: the shared challenge of taming an unruly, Trump-aligned right flank that often seeks to undermine them. As Congress inches toward a decision on a border-Ukraine deal, conservatives in both chambers are growing bolder in their public criticism and private pushback against party leaders.

The former president, now Republicans’ likely 2024 nominee, is propelling that rebellion. As the Biden administration warns Ukraine is effectively out of money, Trump is influencing Johnson’s resistance to bipartisan Senate negotiations and mucking up McConnell’s plans.

Already McConnell acknowledged to his colleagues that Trump’s ascendance is threatening the nascent agreement. Shortly afterward, Johnson blasted the ongoing Senate negotiations for good measure, signaling they aren’t hardline enough for him to accept.

“We don’t know if the House would take up and pass anything we pass in the Senate,” said Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas), a McConnell ally. “People wonder: ‘Why should we do this if it’s not going anywhere?’ Especially if it’s a hard vote for some people.”

Separated by a generation of GOP politics, the two leaders are now playing to two completely opposite wings of the party. McConnell was elected to the Senate in 1984, the Reagan era’s peak, while Johnson won his House seat in 2016 alongside Trump — and it shows, as he coordinates closely with the former president these days.

The Senate GOP leader is nearing the end of a record-breaking term atop the conference, looking to lock down his legacy by ensuring his party helps fund Ukraine’s defense against Russia. Johnson, meanwhile, is fighting a day-to-day battle for political survival after vaulting out of obscurity into the speakership, charting a Trump-centric course for House Republicans. Sen. John Neely Kennedy (R-La.), who knows both GOP leaders, acknowledged the two have differences in policy and experience but argued that “the gap between Mitch and Mike is not that great.”

House conservatives don’t exactly agree. They’re not willing to toss Johnson from the speakership yet, but most view McConnell with deep skepticism, if not open hostility. At times, Johnson sounds much like McConnell when promoting a strong border deal alongside Ukraine aid — but he’s also aggressively distanced himself from the Senate’s negotiations.

One Johnson ally, granted anonymity to speak candidly, said that the House GOP sees itself as more closely aligned with the average Republican voter, particularly when it comes to Ukraine aid and immigration.

“[McConnell] and Schumer have ruled this place for way too long. And financially we cannot afford the two of them. … That’s why we’re really calling on Mike to stand strong,” Rep. Ralph Norman (R-S.C.) said.

There’s a more urgent matter for Johnson, too: Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) is warning that if he allows a vote on $60 billion in Ukraine, then she would force a vote to oust him. Given his increasingly narrow majority, it would only take three Republicans to topple him unless he gets help from Democrats. Potential Republican absences could narrow that margin further. “I would introduce the motion to vacate myself,” Greene said, predicting that Johnson won’t bring a Senate deal to the House floor. ‘The House is ready to act': Johnson doesn’t budge on his border asks.

It’s not just outright threats to strip Johnson of his gavel. His conservatives have shown they’re willing to jam up the House floor in retaliation for decisions he makes that they don’t like. From the other side of the ideological spectrum, he’s also facing criticism from one-time leadership allies who want him to reign in his hardliners and doubts about his ability to handle the challenge.

“What we’re finding out is that Mike Johnson is in over his head,” said one House Republican who knows both GOP leaders and requested anonymity to speak frankly — a criticism his allies say confuses his willingness to listen with indecision.

McConnell faces his own internal discord. He’s coming to grips with the reality that Trump is likely to be the Republican presidential nominee, which createsfresh headaches given that McConnell essentially disowned Trump after the Jan. 6 Capitol riot. Chinese Property Giant Evergrande Ordered To Liquidate After Failing To Reach Deal With Creditors

In a historic development for the bankruptcy-shy China, on Monday, a Hong Kong court ordered China Evergrande - once the country's largest real estate company - to be liquidated, opening a new and unpredictable phase in the collapse of the world’s most indebted property developer. The liquidation order comes more than two years after the company’s official default, which triggered a cash crunch for Chinese developers that has crippled what was once the world's largest asset class, and is still hobbling the world’s second-largest economy.

Hong Kong High Court Judge Linda Chan issued the order on Monday after the developer failed to come up with a last minute restructuring plan to satisfy international creditors despite lengthy negotiations.

“It would be a situation where the court says enough is enough,” Chan said. “I consider that it is appropriate for the court to make a winding-up order against the company, and I so order.

A previous deal between Evergrande and international investors fell apart in September after Chinese authorities failed to grant some regulatory approvals. Evergrande’s chair Hui Ka Yan was placed under “mandatory measures” days later on suspicion of “illegal crimes”, authorities said at the time. The winding-up lawsuit was filed in 2022 by offshore creditor Top Shine Global, which said Evergrande had failed to honor HK$863mn (US$110mn) worth of claims.

Today's historic decision to liquidate a Chinese property giant will test the reach of Hong Kong courts in the Chinese mainland, where foreign claims are widely seen to hold little sway and the property slowdown has become one of Beijing’s biggest political challenges.While Evergrande is listed in Hong Kong, almost all of its assets and the vast majority of its more than $300bn in liabilities are in China. Authorities have so far prioritised the completion of unfinished projects by developers.

The judge appointed Edward Middleton and Tiffany Wong, from the restructuring firm Alvarez & Marsal, as Evergrande’s liquidators. Speaking outside the court, Wong said they would begin by meeting management to understand the affairs of the company and discuss next steps.

It wasn't immediately clear if Evergrande's forced liquidations will lead to a fresh crisis in China's property market as true price clearing levels are discovered, often at a huge loss.

Evergrande was once deemed too big to fail, racking up hundreds of billions in debt to expand during a property boom that made the real estate sector a key driver of China’s economic growth. But as the economy slowed, property sales plummeted, and Chinese regulators began clamping down on excessive leverage and speculation. Evergrande struggled to refinance its debts, which had ballooned to more than $300 billion, and repeatedly sought more time to work out a deal with creditors.

In her judgment, Chan said she had decided to order the winding up because Evergrande had “no restructuring proposal, let alone a viable proposal which has the support of the requisite majorities of the creditors”. According to the FT, her decision could trigger further lawsuits stemming from the billions of dollars of losses related to the company’s collapse.

President Joe Biden believes that “radical Iran-backed militant groups operating in Syria and Iraq” are responsible

Three US Army soldiers were killed and over 30 service personnel were injured in a weekend drone attack on a small US outpost in Jordan, near the country’s Syrian border, according to US Central Command (CENTCOM).

This is the first instance of American troops being killed by enemy fire in the region since the onset of the Gaza war.

The Islamic Resistance in Iraq – an umbrella group for Shia militias – has claimed responsibility for the attack.

President Joe Biden has pledged to hold those responsible for the attack to account, attributing it to “radical Iran-backed militant groups operating in Syria and Iraq.”

The drone strike that killed three American soldiers in Jordan was not just predictable but “an inevitable conclusion” of stationing US troops at “vulnerable” locations across the Middle East, Republican congressional candidate and Iraq War veteran Joe Kent told Tucker Carlson Uncensored.

“We left them there as bait to be killed by Iranians at the time and place of their choosing so that we can continue to escalate towards a war with Iran,” Kent explained. He pointed out that US troops in the region had already been attacked at least 150 times since Israel declared war in Gaza on October 7, prior to Sunday’s strike.

The politician urged the government to resist the temptation to wage an Iraq-style “shock and awe” campaign in Iran. He warned that such a war would result in catastrophic military and financial losses with no perceivable gain for the average American.

The US effectively provoked the airstrike on its Jordanian base with increased attacks on troops allied with the “axis of resistance” in Syria and Iraq in the preceding days, Foad Izadi, a professor of political communications at the University of Tehran, told RT. One such US strike killed an Iraqi military commander.

Attempts to reframe these militias as “Iran-backed” do not change their essential nature, he said. “What the US is trying to do is link these organizations to Iran, hiding the fact that there is a lot of discontent in both Iraq and Syria against American occupation.”

Kiev’s forces have attacked the Kalininsky District of the capital of Russia’s Donetsk People’s Republic, Aleksey Kulemzin has said

At least three people have been killed and one other wounded in a Ukrainian strike on the Russian city of Donetsk, Aleksey Kulemzin, the mayor of the capital of the Donetsk People’s Republic, has said.

The Kalininsky District in the eastern part of the city was targeted on Monday, Kulemzin wrote on Telegram.

Footage allegedly shot at the scene captured several bodies on the ground and the burning debris of a car that had been destroyed in the attack.

According to the republic’s Joint Center for Control and Coordination, eight missiles from a multiple rocket launch system were fired at Kalininsky District at around 3pm local time.

Donetsk, which is located close to Russia’s front line, has frequently been a target of Ukrainian strikes amid the conflict between Moscow and Kiev. But, earlier this month, the city of some 600,000 came under one of the worst attacks when 25 civilians were killed and 20 others wounded during a weekend bombardment of a busy market.

Moscow described the strike as “a barbaric terrorist act” carried out by Ukraine with support from the West, as it relied on weapons supplied by the US and its allies. Kiev’s actions have once again proven that the goal of Russia’s military operation in Ukraine must be achieved, the Russian Foreign Ministry has said.

Is Encryption Secure?

Sure it’s secure…if you are trying to keep out the local high school hacker and maybe low level criminal gangs. Use logic. If encryption was so secure that “they” could not get into it, would “they” let you have it? No. Encryption needs to be strong enough to keep certain threats out but let certain security agencies have full transparency of everything. Otherwise it could be used like a weapon (against people like WEF Prof. Schwab and his friends). Here is how they think:

“In this new world, we must accept transparency, and I’ll even say total transparency. Everything is going to be transparent, and you have to get used to it, you have to behave accordingly. It becomes, how should I put it, integrated into your personality, but if you have nothing to hide, you shouldn’t be afraid.”

How are bank systems like the SWIFT Network secured? I ran into someone who had worked for SWIFT, traveling the world installing network and security software at banks who were joining their network. She told me that she had two handlers; one from NSA, the other from the CIA. Each spy watched over her and the other spy to be sure no one was putting anything malicious into the system. After all, spies and bankers trust no one, especially not spies nor bankers. They were using special bank grade cryptography, with greater security than the public can use. This also shows the level of cooperation between banking and spying, something discovered early on by the Rothschilds.

Commercial services must exist in the “Bank” level or below. Operate a “weapon” level service and you will be out of business. “Military Grade” means the military and others can get in — the data is fully transparent to certain groups but not to anyone else. Big Tech lives in the Open Source world, where software is engineered to solve problems while collecting your data at the same time.

The Myth of VPN’s

What about VPN’s? They are not as private as you think. When I tell people this, you can see the sadness in their eyes…they truly believed they actually had privacy. Sorry for that.

A friend who consults on these matters had done research on VPN’s and he shared some information with me (paraphrased to protect his confidence):

Research using tools like DNSlytics, Netlas, and others suggest

that more than 65 percent of VPN operators use the M247 infrastructure

for end points from VPNs. Customers include several famous internet brand names we will not mention here, NOTE: if you carefully examine the egress points of your VPN, you should be able to see if they use M247.

The M247 operates primarily out of Bucharest, Romania. A map

of the firm's "servers" and "points of presence" is available at LINK and HERE.

In October 2016, Metronet acquired M247, for about US$52 million LINK. People running Metronet came from UK telcos. It is important to note that UK based telcos and ISPs allegedly cooperate fully with the UK National Crime Agency and GCHQ (UK’s version of NSA).

At Unseen we built a hardware based VPN. Within a year of release, these were banned in China and Russia — I guess they worked. One of our customers told us our hardware VPN was the only VPN he couldn’t detect and he had tested 60 VPNs. Everyone else used standard OpenVPN and other software tools that left clear signatures in the data, that’s how they were detected. There’s a very good chance we might bring something similar to this to our network.

Man opens emergency exit door on plane, walks out onto wing before takeoff

A man was taken into custody by police after airport officials say he opened an Aeromexico plane's emergency exit door and walked out onto the wing on a Central America bound flight late last week. Passengers claim it because they were delayed for hours and needed help.

The Mexico City International Airport acknowledged in a statement the wild display took place Thursday morning while the plane was on the ground awaiting takeoff to Guatemala.

According to the airport's statement posted on social media, the man "posed on a wing and re-entered the cabin, without any harm to anyone … or the aircraft."

Due to international security regulations, the airport reported the man was "put at the disposal of the authorities."USA TODAY has reached out to Aeromexico.

'Without ventilation and without water'

According to a post circulating on social media, passengers on board claimed they were kept on the tarmac for hours without proper ventilation or water during a flight delay.

“The delay and lack of air created conditions that endangered the health of the passengers. He saved our lives,” passengers wrote in a letter translated from Spanish.

"The emergency exit was opened out of desperation after leaving us locked in for almost 4 hours without ventilation and without water," one person, who claimed to be on board, wrote in a caption on X with a handwritten photo of a letter signed by passengers.

The same passenger wrote the plane's doors were closed, passengers were "without information" and there were "elderly ladies on the verge of fainting."

According to an incident report filed with airport officials, the Associated Press reported,passengers "were unhappy and one of them opened the emergency door and stepped out on the wing. This event required the plane to be changed.” At least 77 passengers onboard flight AM672, the AP reported, signed the statement circulating online.

Regular VPN’s dump you out on the Internet in other places and countries. You are still facing the same spying and threats of the internet when using a VPN because you are again on the open internet. Only when you connect directly to a server itself are you secure.

Secure Messengers

Signal users went into a tizzy when the CEO of Signal started begging for money because the main source of money for them was a branch of the US government and it was drying up. The US government doesn’t spend money unless it achieves their goals and I believe these were related to giving secure comms to certain overseas groups who were opposed to their local governments. It’s also a handy honeypot for domestic security, as well. Their annual budget for personnel was about $19m for about 50 staff LINK, in addition to hosting and storage costs. That’s about $380,000 per employee. We should all wish to work at Signal, LOL. There are a number of eye-openers on that blog post from Signal.

Here’s a video you need to watch, if you use We Chat, Signal or Telegram. It’s a person speaking to the Scottish parliament and most who see this have a sudden epiphany, like finding out Santa isn’t real:

Hardware, Software and Networks

Hardware is nearly all corrupted in several places. The most obvious is the CPU — all major CPU’s have an administrative section which has God mode powers and wifi and 3G access built in, separate from the wifi, cellular or ethernet access. Originally installed in x86 processors, this is now a “feature” of all current CPU’s, though it might not be called Management Engine.

Here’s an article that discusses the “Management Engine” back door:

The EFF described Intel ME as a “largely undocumented master controller for your CPU: it works with system firmware during boot and has direct access to system memory, the screen, keyboard and network.”

Back in June 2016, hardware hacker Damien Zammit warned, “Recent Intel x86 processors implement a secret, powerful control mechanism that runs on a separate chip that no one is allowed to audit or examine. When these are eventually compromised, they’ll expose all affected systems to nearly unkillable, undetectable rootkit attacks.”

Translation: someone with access to this God mode basically owns your computer and can see and hear everything happening on it. All major CPU’s have this “feature”. ARM, inside your phone, AMD and of course Intel Inside. Intel processors have had hidden wifi and 3G connections for many years.

Here are some general rules of thumb about Big Tech spying:

-Assume your phone is always listening. Google spies on everything you say. I’ve personally experience talking with my Android phone in my pocket So do others. Taking your battery out used to be an easy way to stop this when you needed more privacy, but batteries are no longer removable. That was handy for Big Tech, wasn’t it?

-Most devices with electricity could be used for eavesdropping and they connect via cellular IoT bands. IoT is the last unregulated area of the internet and it has billions of devices connected to it. This include TV’s (they have cameras and microphones), ovens, washing machines, stereos, etc.. This can be done remotely or through apps on your device. In the case of TV’s you should put a piece of tape over the camera. Microphones in these devices are dirt cheap, so they will be put everywhere. A friend with a relative at a Chinese security agency told me they can hear ten offices away through a phone microphone. It’s not only your devices spying on you, it’s everything else around you.

-Avoid electronics made by Chinese firms. Here is one case of a clothes iron that had a wifi hacking device inside that sends spam and malware to your network LINK.

-Disable anything with Google. Apple is a little better, but since Steve died, many things he would have forbidden have no doubt been compromised.

The internet is a collection of private networks connected to each other. Everything works well, as long as everyone cooperates. In unstable times, however, things start to break down and it’s time to “lock the gate”.

Policies of each network affect what you can do on the network and this is becoming a problem with de-platforming and censorship. Additionally, the openness of the networks allow security agencies, Big Tech and hackers to collect and censor data easily. One way to do this is to hack an existing router, or in the case of security agencies, toinstall a router in line at the data center. We saw this at Xoom.com in 1997, with a special room at our ISP that was collecting all email and web site visits. No one is the wiser, but everything is vacuumed up and of course the ISP is paid well for this service. No one knows where all that data goes, as it’s shared among different agencies who no doubt trade it with others and even sell it for profit.

The Internet is Becoming Adversarial

The internet has become adversarial and most of the threats you need to worry about are on the public internet. What is not well known is we are entering the next phase of the information war which involves the direct censorship and the altering of information. If you can’t get a message through in the first place, whatever level of security you have on that message is worthless. This is Anti-censorship and the network is the key to getting your message through.

Routers carry your information and because they are exposed to the public internet, they are a major potential problem, as this screen grab shows. Edward Snowden talked about router hacking and toolkits that allow access to Quality of Service (QoS) settings inside the router and many other functions. Just hack in and lower the QoS and you won’t get through to your web site, like this screenshot demonstrates:

This is an MTR chart, it shows the path of packets of information from your computer to the server you are trying to reach. In this case, two routers at Hurricane Electric in California, which is alleged to be affiliated with the CCP, dropped 75% and 89% of the packets, making communications impossible. This kind of attack destroyed Unseen — customers could not reach the server and they requested refunds. You should expect to see missing email, phone calls and blockages to become more frequent.

Another Gathering of the Ghouls is behind us, as the World Economic Forum’s (WEF) 2024 Davos confab has come to an end.

Here’s what we learned about the plans our technocratic tyrant overlords have for us, along with a series of highlights (the good, the bad, and the notable) from the annual Swiss mountain retreat.

“Rebuilding Trust” was the theme of the conference, but nobody admitted to any wrongdoing

The 2024 program was one for the ages. Attendees watched Pfizer’s Albert Bourla talk about his company’s embrace of Artificial Intelligence (AI). They saw depopulation advocate Bill “Bugman” Gates advancing the climate hoax. John Kerry appeared on four different stages to discuss the “energy transition.” We also saw Klaus Schwab sit down for a 1 on 1 with the second highest ranking Chinese government official.

In none of these panels did anyone show any bit of regret for their decisions. Unsurprisingly, none of the catastrophic “errors” made during the Covid hysteria era never came up. Some devised even more authoritarian solutions for the “problems” that humanity faces. Gates, for his part, said he was working on vaccine patches so that uptake for shoddy pharmaceuticals will be even higher next time around.

To the WEF crowd, “Rebuilding Trust” often meant doing a better job to silence people by filtering out what they deemed “misinformation” and “disinformation.” In short, the problem isn’t them, it’s the people who are in the way. In order to rebuild trust, they want independent platforms like this one to be out of the way, through invasive surveillance and censorship measures.

There was no real debate

In order to get access to Club Davos, prospective participants are ideologically vetted for adherence to the big narratives advanced by Schwab and the gang. Davos isn’t a forum for robust debate, but a chance for the global ruling class to rally together behind the same agenda items.

Surprise surprise: the annual meeting began with a Volodomyr Zelensky appeal for more money. His speech received a standing ovation in Davos. Lots of powerful leaders dedicated their address to the Ukrainian effort, demanding a continuing flow to the seemingly never-ending Ukraine money spigot.

China takes center stage
