Macron to Accept Prime Minister’s Resignation, Leaving France Without Actual Government

French President Emmanuel Macron has decided to accept the resignation of his prime minister after his governing coalition failed to secure a majority in the National Assembly during the snap legislative elections earlier this month.

From Tuesday evening the French government is officially rudderless, with Macron’s decision to finally accept Prime Minister Gabriel Attal’s resignation meaning that the government cannot pass any legislation, including the annual budget.

However, with the parliament locked in a three-way split between the far-left New Popular Front, Macronist neo-liberals, and the populist National Rally and centre-right Les Républicains, the President has said that Attal’s government will continue in a caretaker role to handle the day-to-day business of government, and outside of which can only act in the case of emergencies.

It is not a SR-25, it is probably an Accuracy International chassis for Remington 700. There are clear difference between the rifles in use in the picture and a SR-25 (pasted on for reference).

Court rejects Palestinians' attempt to stop US aid to Israel over alleged 'genocidal acts' in Gaza

The court refused to issue an order finding the Biden administration violated anti-genocide laws and an order halting US "military, diplomatic, and financial" aid to Israel

Afederal appeals court has rejected an attempt by a Palestinian NGO and Palestinian-Americans to halt U.S. financial and other assistance to Israel for its operations in the Gaza Strip.

A unanimous panel of the court on Monday rejected the attempt to stop "military, diplomatic, and financial support," concluding the suit is "not justiciable under the political question doctrine."

The doctrine bars courts from entertaining lawsuits that intrude on the exclusive domain of one of the political branches.

The Ninth Circuit, which covers the western U.S., rejected the plaintiffs' attempt to "place our country’s strategic approach to a major world conflict under the auspices of a single federal district court."

The court instead held that the power to determine U.S. military and diplomatic policy resided in the Executive Branch, in a decision considered a blow to efforts to halt such assistance to Israel.

The plaintiffs, which included a non-government organization and Gazans, argued U.S. policy toward Israel violated the international Genocide Convention and a federal law criminalizing genocide.

They sought an order preventing the Biden administration "from aiding, abetting, enabling or facilitating Israel’s commission of genocidal acts against the Palestinian people of Gaza."

•Today’s action ends this injusticeand requires that these discounts go directly to the people. These are the people that need it.This will save patients up to 30 percent. It could be40percent, could be50percent, could be much higher than that==. These are numbers that nobody has ever even contemplated, and that doesn’t include lifesaving drugs like insulin, which will be even higher. Insulin was destroying lives and destroying families because the cost was so high, and now it’s at a level that nobody can even believe.

• For example,Medicare Part B recipients are forced to spend five times more for a common breast cancer medication than patients in other countries.

• To address this unfairness and to lower prices for Americans, we’refinalizing the Most Favored Nation rule. Nobody has ever done this. The drug companies don’t like me too much,..I just hope they (Bidan Admin) keep it.
