I seldom watch Low Rated Bill Maher but, when I do, I marvel at the fake laughter on the Show. During the night last night at three truck stops on I-40 in Tennessee, were hit by an unknown activist group at the moment, according to the shop manager…

The TA Truck stop at Denmark, TN had 50 trucks, tires stabbed with holes in the side walls, then at the Loves truck stop at exit 126 Holiday, TN was hit, where 5 tires (sidewalls stabbed several times) on the drivers side were cut on our truck and several other trucks as well, one guy had 9 tires stabbed on his truck, then at exit 163 Loves truck stop, Dickson TN, was also hit with tires stabbed on the side wall of big trucks…Our company has put out an alert for their company drivers…There may be more, and in other states as well, this is unknown at the moment….This means loads will be late, with our food supplies, medical supplies, building supplies, etc…

Let your trucking friends know…

Tires are expensive..especially for owner operators.

Be on the look out!!!

Two Delta Airlines Agents Arrested After Allegedly Smuggling $3M Worth Of Ketamine

Two Delta Airlines agents have been arrested after allegedly smuggling over $3 million worth of ketamine through John F. Kennedy International Airport.

According to federal authorities, on September 19th, Leandro Alleyne and Fabian Innis were apprehended after they were allegedly spotted grabbing backpacks and suitcases, loading them onto a baggage transportation vehicle, and taking it to a deserted area of the tarmac, even though they did not have the authority to remove any luggage.

 

Court documents stated that Alleyne and Innis were seen by U.S. Department of Homeland Security investigators as they approached Flight 219, which had arrived from Copenhagen, Denmark. The investigators then swooped in after the pair had begun opening the bags.

 

They found that each backpack held several transparent plastic bags that were filled with a white, crystallized material that proved to be ketamine through field testing.

 

Authorities said the two were taken into custody in possession of 134 pounds of the drug, which had a street value of $3 million.

 

Prosecutors stated in Brooklyn Federal Court documents that two distinct Flight 219 passengers’ names were on luggage tags found in four of the suitcases.

 

The complaint stated Alleyne and Innis were collaborating with others, but it did not state whether the passengers were a part of the smuggling operation.

 

“It appears that the backpacks were stowed away within the luggage. Somebody on the other side must have put the backpacks into the luggage after they went through customs,” a source told The Post. “It looks like an inside job.”

 

Authorities stated that Innis later allegedly confessed “he has done this at least five to 10 times in the past” with Alleyne and “he knew the bags contained drugs based on conversations with Alleyne, but did not know the type of drug.”

 

They also said that Innis told them before being arrested that he was paid “approximately $4,000 to $5,000 per flight.”

 

Both defendants entered a not guilty plea and were released after posting a $50,000 bond.

Strange objects

By June 1965, strange objects were being seen in the skies around the town. Shuttlewood amassed a sizable file on these sightings, and it was not until September, 1965, when he reported seeing a UFO from his home, that he became a believer in the enigma.

Shuttlewood soon became the voice and champion of The Warminster mystery.

Some students of the Warminster enigma believe that Shuttlewood became so immersed in the whole concept, that logic went out of the window as far as he was concerned.

The iconic image of Warminster's UFO activity is a photograph, taken by Gordon Faulkner in 1965. It shows a typical 'flying saucer', which is so enlarged that the grain of the film emulsion is clearly visible.

Faulkner handed the picture to Shuttlewood, and told the reporter to "do as he seemed fit with it".

Shuttlewood handed it to the Daily Mirror. It was printed in the paper on 10 September 1965. It gained the town a vast amount of publicity, and some would say, notoriety.

Within weeks, thousands of people began to converge on the town to see this strange phenomenon for themselves. Such was the concern of the local populace, that a public meeting was held in the town over the August Bank Holiday.

BBC West filmed a half-hour documentary in 1966, entitled Pie in the Sky. Of all the programmes made about the town, this is by far the most level and fair.

Shuttlewood was by now contemplating writing a book on the events in the town. The Warminster Mystery was published in 1967 by Neville Spearman, followed a year later by Warnings from Flying Friends, which was self-published by Shuttlewood.

Sightings of "The thing" continued, but, by the early 1970s, they were beginning to decline.

This was partly due to Warminster being old news, and the numbers of sky-watchers on the hill dropped due in main to lack of nationwide publicity.

A local UFO buff, Ken Rogers, began publishing The Warminster UFO newsletter in August, 1971.

Shuttlewood's third book on the phenomenon was UFOs: Key to the New Age, which was published in 1971. This book, of all the titles written by Shuttlewood, is probably the most contentious of all. Shuttlewood's own personal theories seem, by today's standards to be quite absurd.

The Warminster UFO newsletter continued publication into 1973. Shuttlewood, it seems took a sabbatical from writing books for a number of years, but still took an active part in sky-watches and the local UFO scene.

In the same year, The Warminster mystery was published in paperback by Tandem books.

The Fountain Journal

Late in 1975, or early 1976 saw a new research centre open in the town. The Fountain Centre, located in Carlton Villa, Portway, was run by Peter and Jane Paget.

Along with Jane's mother, Mrs Margaret Tedder-Shepperd, the Pagets renamed the property Star House with the intention of running not only a research facility in the town, but to offer bed and breakfast to sky-watchers who were visiting the town.

Another project they planned was the publication of The Fountain Journal, a bi-monthly magazine centred on the UFO sightings reported in and around the Warminster area.

Shuttlewood joined the editorial team early on, before the publication of issue one.

The first three issues, which were edited by the Pagets, Mrs Tedder-Shepherd and Arthur Shuttlewood, contained much more information on the local UFO scene than later issues.

This was in part due to the input of Shuttlewood himself, until he had a protracted period of ill-health.

Shuttlewood bowed out, and at around the same time, The Flying Saucerers, was published in November 1976.

Mrs Tedder-Shepherd, who was a co-owner of the centre and had a 50% stake in the property, withdrew her support, leaving the Pagets to continue to run the centre with rapidly dwindling funds.

With mounting pressures on them and the local UFO researchers becoming more hostile towards the Fountain Centre, the publication of the Fountain Journal became more sporadic. Issue 11, dated only 1977, was the last to be published.

Another research group, UFO - Info, had set up in the town. This new group, which, unlike the Fountain Centre, was run and staffed by unpaid volunteers.

Shuttlewood had two further books published in the late 1970s - UFO Magic in Motion, and his final book, More UFOs over Warminster in 1979.

Arthur Shuttlewood died in Warminster in 1996. With his death, the last lingering memories slowly faded away.

The former US president has criticized Washington’s handouts to Kiev and vowed to end the conflict with Russia “in 24 hours” if elected

 

In an interview with Fox News on Saturday, the Ukrainian leader said that while he does not “know what will be after [the US presidential] elections, and who will be the president,” Kiev will be expecting “answers… from the United States.”

 

He stressed that Washington’s stance is particularly important as it has always been Kiev’s top backer. Regarding his conversation with Trump on Friday, Zelensky described it as “really productive.”

 

“I’ve got from Donald Trump very direct information that he will be on our side, that he will support Ukraine,” he went on to claim. Zelensky added that the Republican candidate was “very interested” to hear “directly” from him about the current situation on the front line, as well as Ukraine’s needs.

 

Speaking to New Yorker magazine last Sunday, the Ukrainian leader said he believes Trump “doesn’t really know how to stop the war, even if he might think he knows how.” Asked by the Fox News host whether he still stands by this comment, Zelensky argued that no one outside of Ukraine can really understand what his country is going through.

 

“We both want to see this end, we both want to see a fair deal made,” Trump said following his meeting with Zelensky on Friday.

'Complete Obliteration': DeSantis Says Hurricane Helene Damage Worse Than Idalia

 

Florida’s Gov. Ron DeSantis said Hurricane Helene’s “monumental storm surge” caused far greater damage than last year’s Idalia.

 

“Clearly you saw storm surge in excess of 15 feet,” DeSantis said to reporters in Taylor County’s Dekle Beach on the morning of Sept. 28.

 

“So that is much, much more significant than what we’ve seen in recent storms like Idalia that hit and certainly Debbie, and that is really, really destructive. So, as you look around here, you see some homes that are now just rubble.”

 

He said some of the damage he saw while flying over the affected coastline on Sept. 27 en route to Cedar Key was “complete obliteration.”

 

As recovery and emergency response efforts continue across the southeast United States in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, more than 50 storm-related deaths have been confirmed, and early estimates expect to see more than $15 billion in damages.

 

DeSantis confirmed that at least 11 of those storm-related fatalities occurred in the state. However, none of these fatalities occurred in Taylor County, where Helene made landfall as a Category 4 hurricane.

 

The governor was joined by the executive director of Florida’s Department of Emergency Management, Kevin Guthrie, and FEMA Director Deanne Criswell. They expressed their shared desire to put everyone affected into a safe, dry living space, whether that is providing assistance through the state housing repair program, or provide full temporary housing in the form of trailer either through the state housing program or FEMA’s federal direct housing program.

 

Guthrie said that trailers were already on their way to Taylor County and portions of Levy County, but he emphasized that they were a temporary solution. Florida building code does not allow permanent travel trailer construction in these areas, especially on the beach in Taylor County.

 

“We want to help you get through that temporary [housing] onto what your permanent housing is going to be,” he said.

On Sept. 25, 2024, the European Council on Foreign Relations published a report titled Welcome to Barbieland: European Sentiment in the Year of Wars and Elections. In it, senior policy fellow and author Pawel Zerka discussed how Europeans could change Europe to benefit globalists.

 

Zerka noted that non-white and Muslim people have been misrepresented everywhere, specifically in politics, adding that, as a result of that, they felt “alienated.” The report’s author blamed the “far-right.”

 

“Far-right parties appeared to be on the rise in almost every member state, usually issuing promises to stop immigration or even planning (as the Alternative for Germany, or AfD, did) to expel large swathes of the population,” he wrote.

 

According to him, the European Union is “xenophobic” because it is too “white,” “Western” and “boomer,” adding that, to deal with it, people need to diversify the European population, reject the “‘ethnic’ conception of Europeanness” and “fill the ‘civic’ conception of Europeanness with substance.”

Naomi Campbell Disqualified From Being a Charity Trustee in England for Five Years – Charity Money Spent in Luxury Hotels, Spa Treatments, Room Service and Even Cigarettes

Controversial former British supermodel Naomi Campbell is now barred from being a charity trustee in England and Wales for five years after a three-year investigation by the UK’s Charity Commission.

 

This comes after the two decades-old poverty charity was deemed yesterday (26) to have been ‘poorly governed’ with ‘inadequate financial management’.

 

The Charity Commission investigation into the financial activities of ‘Fashion for Relief’ found ‘multiple instances of misconduct and/or mismanagement’, and discovered that that only 8.5% of the charity’s overall expenditure went on charitable grants in a six-year period from 2016.

 

Associated Press reported:

“For example, it said that thousands of pounds worth of charity funds were used to pay for a luxury hotel stay in Cannes, France, for Campbell as well as spa treatments, room service and even cigarettes. The regulator sought explanations from the trustees but said no evidence was provided to back up their explanation that hotel costs were typically covered by a donor to the charity, therefore not costing the charity.”

 

Campbell has stated she is ‘extremely concerned’ by the findings of the regulator, and that an internal investigation was underway.

 

“’I was not in control of my charity, I put the control in the hands of a legal employer’, she said in response to a question from the AP after being named a knight in France’s Order of Arts and Letters at the country’s culture ministry for her contribution to French culture. ‘We are investigating to find out what and how, and everything I do and every penny I ever raised goes to charity’.”

 

The UK’s Charity Commission registers and regulates charitable entities in England and Wales.

 

It also found that fellow trustee Bianka Hellmich received around 290,000 pounds ($385,000) of unauthorized funds for consultancy services which was in breach of the charity’s constitution.

 

Hellmich has been disqualified as a trustee for nine years, while the other trustee, Veronica Chou, was barred for four years.

 

“’Trustees are legally required to make decisions that are in their charity’s best interests and to comply with their legal duties and responsibilities’, said Tim Hopkins, deputy director for specialist investigations and standards. ‘Our inquiry has found that the trustees of this charity failed to do so, which has resulted in our action to disqualify them’.

 

The charity, which was founded in 2005 in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans, was dissolved and removed from the register of charities earlier this year. On its website, which is still active, the charity said that it presented fashion initiatives and projects in New York, London, Cannes, Moscow, Mumbai and Dar es Salaam, raising more than $15 million for good causes around the world.”

 

Campbell’s charity was set up with the aim of uniting the fashion industry to relieve poverty and advance health and education.

 

The UK’s Charity commission said that around $460,000 has been recovered and that a further 98,000 pounds of charitable funds have been protected.

The fire has reportedly reignited at BioLab in Conyers and a hard evacuation is underway. The original fire started around 5 a.m. Sunday and residents in the immediate area were evacuated and many roads were closed. Israel Strikes Houthis in Yemen — Again

 

The Israel Defense Force (IDF) carried out airstrikes against the Iran-backed Houthis in Yemen on Sunday, the second such attack since July, in response to several ballistic missiles fired by the rebels at Israel in recent days.

 

The IDF said in a statement:

 

Today (Sunday), during an extensive, intelligence-based aerial operation, dozens of IAF aircraft—including fighter jets, mid-air refueling aircraft, and intelligence aircraft struck military targets belonging to the Houthi terrorist regime in the Ras Isa and Hudaydah areas of Yemen. The targets included power plants and a seaport used to import oil, which were used by the Houthi terrorist regime to transfer Iranian weapons to the region, in addition to military supplies and oil.

 

The strikes were carried out in response to the recent attacks by the Houthis against the State of Israel.

 

Over the past year, the Houthis have been operating under the direction and funding of Iran, and in cooperation with Iraqi militias in order to attack the State of Israel, undermine regional stability, and disrupt global freedom of navigation.

 

The IDF is determined to continue operating at any distance – near or far – against all threats to the citizens of the State of Israel.

 

One of the Houthi missiles had landed near an Israeli town in Judea and Samaria (also known as the West Bank).

 

There were also unconfirmed reports that a helicopter carrying senior Houthi officials had crashed in Iran on Sunday.

During a 10 a.m. press conference, it was revealed that the incident began around 5 a.m. Officials say that a sprinkler in the plant malfunctioned, causing water to make contact with a reactive chemical. That resulted in a small fire on the roof of the plant and a large plume. Officials did not say what chemical was involved during the press conference. Officials also said that they are waiting for heavy equipment to remove pallets of the chemical from the plant. In the meantime, the EPA will be sampling the plume to determine what chemicals are in it to determine the threat level to the community.

An upstate-New York judge has resigned from his judicial positions amid an investigation into his attendance at Donald Trump's January 6, 2021, rally in Washington, D.C.

 

Judge Donald R. Spaccio, who served as a village and town court judge in Montour Falls, Schuyler County, submitted his resignation earlier in September, according to documents from the New York State Commission on Judicial Conduct.

 

Judge Spaccio had been notified in April that the commission was investigating complaints related to his conduct, which included attending the Jan. 6 rally, as well as shouting at law enforcement when officers asked him to remove a propane cannon from his property, and yelling profanities at a town code enforcement officer during a dispute.

 

Spaccio told the New York Law Journal that he went to Trump's rally because he felt there were a lot of things wrong with the country.

 

According to the stipulation agreed upon by Spaccio and the commission, he will vacate his judicial positions and is barred from holding any judicial office in the future.

 

In the Commission's statements, administrator Robert H. Tembeckjian, said attending the January 6 rally was "impermissible."

 

"Judges may not engage in political activity except for a limited time when running for office, and even then there are constraints on what they may do," Tembeckjian said.

 

"Whether or not a judge was a candidate, attending the rally in Washington on January 6, 2021, was impermissible."

 

Spaccio attended the "Save America" rally in Washington, D.C., where then-president Trump declared he would "never concede" the election, called on Vice President Mike Pence to overturn the results, and told his supporters: "If you don't fight like hell, you're not going to have a country anymore."

 

The commission did not specify whether Spaccio participated in the violent storming of the Capitol that followed Trump's speech, which resulted in more than 1,400 people being charged.

 

The former president has continued to claim, without evidence, that the election was "rigged" via widespread voter fraud but has denied stoking the violence that took place.

 

Spaccio had served as a justice of the Montour Falls Village Court since 2001 and joined the Montour Town Court in 2005.

 

His current terms were set to expire in March 2026 for the village court and December 2025 for the town court. Instead of contesting the allegations, Spaccio chose to resign, telling th New York Law Journal that he did not want to bear the cost of a legal defense.

 

In his resignation letter, Spaccio expressed gratitude for the opportunity to serve the community.

 

The New York State Commission on Judicial Conduct accepted his resignation and determined that the matter would be concluded under the terms of the stipulation, subject to revival if Spaccio violates the agreement.

Ports Brace for Shutdown as U.S. Dockworker Strike Deadline Nears

Key industry and government officials are urging US dockworkers and their employers to avoid a strike at East and Gulf coast ports this week, though many facilities are already bracing for a shutdown.

 

“We are coordinating with partners across the supply chain to prepare for any potential impacts,” said Steve Burns, a spokesman for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, the nation’s busiest Atlantic gateway for containers. “We urge both sides to find common ground and keep the cargo flowing for the good of the national economy.”

 

The United States Maritime Alliance, a group representing ocean carriers and port terminal operators, and the International Longshoremen’s Association have no talks planned before their contract expires at the end of Monday.

 

The stalemate sets the stage for a strike to start the following day, forcing ports with the combined capacity to handle as much as half of all US trade volumes to halt container cargo and auto shipments. Energy supplies and bulk cargo like municipal waste and road salt won’t be affected, and some exceptions will be made to allow for the movement of military goods and cruise ships.

 

To help break the impasse, the Biden administration summoned USMX, as the employer group is known, to the White House on Friday for a meeting with senior officials to urge a return to negotiations, and said they’d been in touch with the union to deliver the same message.

 

Speaking on condition of anonymity, a White House official said the administration will also be watching freight rates and surcharges imposed by ocean carriers, and doesn’t want to see anti-competitive price moves. The two largest container lines have already announced plans to impose extra fees tied to work stoppages.

 

If a strike goes ahead, it’ll be the first major labor disruption at US maritime hubs since a nine-month standoff in 2014-15 led to work slowdowns and reduced productivity at ports on the West Coast. The last ILA strike on the East Coast was in 1977.

 

USMX is now alleging the union has refused to bargain since calling off talks back in June, and asked the National Labor Relations Board to force the dockworkers to negotiate. The ILA wants assurances against job-reducing automation, and counters that its members are owed a bigger cut of the “billions of dollars in revenues and profits” shipping lines have made in recent years.

 

President Joe Biden brands himself as the most pro-union president in history, andhis administration has maintained it won’t interfere if ports shut down.“We’ve never invoked Taft-Hartley to break a strike and are not considering doing so now,” White House spokesperson Robyn Patterson said on Thursday.

 

The economic pressure for federal intervention will only build if important gateways are paralyzed for more than a few days. Oxford Economics estimated that a strike would cost the US economy $4.5 billion to $7.5 billion a week — a hit to gross domestic product that would be reversed after it’s over and shipments resume.

 

Still, analysts said the fallout of even a short strike would be costly for many retailers, manufacturers and other importers heading into the fourth quarter. Even with supply chains running relatively smoothly, every week that cargo is stalled and backlogs are created will take a month to clear, in part because ports like Los Angeles and Long Beach, California, are already operating near capacity.

 

Quickly ‘Overwhelmed’

“Contingency routes could become overwhelmed very quickly,” C.H. Robinson Worldwide Inc., one of the largest US freight brokerages, said in an alert last week. “A significant volume shift to the US West Coast would not only challenge the ports but also rail services, which may require more use of truck and transload services.”

 

In the autos sector, although only 32% of overall vehicles and parts are imported through the ports threatened by strikes, Oxford Economics said “it would spell trouble for European auto producers” given the trade route across the Atlantic and few viable alternatives.

 

Ports, meanwhile, were preparing to scale down operations on Monday, with some – like New York-New Jersey – offering extended hours to pick up freight. Near Norfolk, the Port of Virginia said marine operations will cease at 1 p.m. local time on Monday, and Port Houston in Texas plans to shut at 7 p.m. In Boston, the last vessel operation is scheduled to end at 8 p.m. if no labor agreement is reached.

 

Higher Freight Costs

For shippers and carriers, idled ships, delivery delays and higher costs were among the contingencies because alternative routes are limited. In Canada, two major terminals at Montreal Port operated by Terminal Termont Inc. will close this week as union dockworkers prepare for a three-day strike starting Monday.

Virginia School Bus Aide Allegedly Sexually Assaulted Disabled 4- And 5-Year Olds

 

A school bus aide in Spotsylvania, Virginia sexually assaulted multiple four- and five-year olds with disabilities on the school bus on Thursday, police said.

 

According to a jail booking from Rappahannock Regional Jail, Miguel Angel Velasquez Velasco was booked for eight counts of aggravated sexual battery of a victim less than 13 years, sodomy, and indecent liberties with a child by a custodian, and is being held without bond.

 

Spotsylvania Police Major Troy Skebo said in a Saturday statement that school authorities notified the police of suspicions that “inappropriate touching of a student” had occurred on a school bus.

 

“Detectives with the ‘Child Victim Unit’ and school administration immediately started an investigation and obtained substantial evidence that Mr. Velasquez Velasco assaulted three separate children on the school bus on the day of September 26th,” Skeoa said. “The victims ages range from 4 to 5 years of age who are students with disabilities.”

 

Skebo said Velasquez Velasco is an immigrant who is a legal permanent resident and has no known criminal record.

 

Superintendent Clint M. Mitchell has not informed the community of the incident. The Daily Wire sent Mitchell questions about the incident at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, but, as of this writing, he had not responded.

 

Spotsylvania Commonwealth’s Attorney Ryan Mehaffey told The Daily Wire that the “case is very important to our community and it has my undivided attention.” He said the charging documents could not be released because it is currently in juvenile court.

The failure of states to meet their legal and moral obligations to end the genocide against the Palestinian people “jeopardizes the entire edifice of international law and rule of law in world affairs,” dozens of independent UN experts recently warned.

They added that the world stands on a knife’s edge and “either we travel collectively towards a future of just peace and lawfulness – or hurtle towards anarchy and dystopia, and a world where might makes right.”

 

Israel’s actions over the past days and months amount to a full assault on the fundamental precepts of international humanitarian law – the rules governing the conduct of belligerents during war.

 

Modern international humanitarian law is based in large part on the Geneva Conventions, the first of which was signed by 16 European nations in 1864.

 

Today, nearly 200 states are party to the Geneva Conventions of 1949, which build on earlier treaties to protect war victims.
