Buzz Aldrin Endorses Trump For President

 

Buzz Aldrin, former astronaut and the second person to walk on the moon, endorsed former President Donald Trump’s 2024 presidential bid, according to a post shared to X on Wednesday.

 

Aldrin praised the Trump administration’s approach to space exploration, including instituting the Space Force, and highlighted the importance of the government focusing on space in his endorsement, according to the post. The former astronaut also said that he believes “we are best served” by voting for Trump, according to the post.

NEW: Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson says there is a “NATIONWIDE ISSUE with Dominion Voter Access Terminals,” preventing voters from making certain selections.

According to her office, this “programming issue” CANNOT be fixed, and voters are being forced to deal with it.

The Colorado Secretary of State’s Office inadvertently posted a spreadsheet to its website with a hidden tab that included voting system passwords.

 

In a statement to 9NEWS, a spokesperson for the Colorado Secretary of State’s Office said that “the Department is working to remedy this situation where necessary.”

 

On Tuesday morning, Colorado Republican Party Vice Chair Hope Scheppelman shared the hidden tab discovery in a mass email, along with an affidavit from someone who claims they had downloaded the Excel file from the Colorado Secretary of State’s website and discovered the hidden tab by simply clicking “unhide.” The name on the affidavit was blacked out in the Republican Party email.

 

The passwords that were in the hidden tab are known as BIOS passwords and are one part of the security process for Colorado’s voting machines.

Wikipedia is “broken,” X and Tesla owner Elon Musk wrote on Tuesday, commenting on accusations that the online encyclopedia allows articles which essentially brand Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump a “fascist.”

 

The billionaire, who recently offered his full support to the previous US president ahead of the November election, highlighted an article called ‘Wikipedia Editors Officially Deem Trump a Fascist’ by American writer Ashley Rindsberg.

 

The article published on Pirate Wires drew attention to several Wikipedia entries, including ‘Trumpism’, ‘Racial views of Donald Trump’, and ‘Donald Trump and fascism’, noting that the latter page appeared on the same day that The Guardian published a 4,000-word essay called “Is Donald Trump a Fascist?” alluding to many similar points.

 

The page ‘Donald Trump and fascism’ also contains some of the more pointed accusations against the Republican, including comparisons between the January 6 attack by the then president’s supporters on Capitol Hill and the Beer Hall Putsch, a failed coup attempt by Nazi leader Adolf Hitler in 1923.

 

Rindsberg noted that the ‘Trumpism’ Wikipedia page writes that the supposed ideology “has significant authoritarian leanings,” and is “national-populist” and “neo-nationalist” in essence while relying on “a source that argues exactly the opposite.” He added that some of the key quotes in the ‘Trumpism’ article are sourced to late sociologist Richard Lachmann, who was described as a “committed leftist” and “an anti-imperialist.”

In part one of this investigation into how Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign is deceptively manipulating online platforms, it was revealed that the campaign is operating a Discord server that directs hordes of volunteers to use their social media accounts to deceptively push election propaganda.

 

The goal is to artificially manufacture consensus by making pro-Kamala Harris messages on social media appear more popular than they are, and it is often done in violation of the Terms of Service of the social media platforms. In more extreme cases, they are encouraging people to skirt election laws and using these “astroturfing” campaigns to spread disinformation they think will help win the upcoming election.

 

Yesterday’s report documented how the Harris-Walz campaign has seen great success in manipulating Reddit’s algorithm, but that isn’t the only social media site they’re manipulating. The campaign has also been targeting Elon Musk’s X, perhaps the most influential site for political news. One particular goal, according to a user of the Harris-Walz campaign Discord server, is to get campaign volunteers to swarm the site and “block [community notes] we don’t like.”

 

Prior to Musk’s purchase of Twitter, the site’s management was known for capriciously removing information and regularly banning users in a way that employed a double standard that heavily disfavored conservative opinion. Musk, a major free speech advocate, sought to institute a more neutral way to deal with misleading tweets, and the “Community Notes” system was born.

 

Select users who signed up for the program could propose notes to be added to tweets showing that the information was wrong, misleading, or required important context. Other users can then read the proposed notes and vote on whether they are accurate or needed, and if the proposed notes get enough favorable votes, they get appended to the post permanently.

 

However, throughout this campaign Harris-Walz official accounts have been remarkable conduits for disinformation and have regularly provided dishonest presentations of the Trump-Vance

 

Despite this, virtually none of the false and misleading tweets from Kamala Harris’ campaign have Community Notes appended to them. One likely explanation for this discrepancy is that the Harris campaign is directing volunteers on its Discord server to vote down Community Notes even when those notes accurately say the campaign is being deceptive.

 

In the example below, after a @KamalaHQ tweet claimed Trump referred to Americans who don’t support him as “dangerous people,” Timothy Durigan, an employee of the Democratic National Committee, urges campaign volunteers to vote down a Community Note that accurately pointed out the Kamala campaign was taking Trump’s remark out of context. Trump was actually speaking about those in the American government responsible for leaking information related to Israel’s war plans:campaign. The Harris campaign’s X accounts have been so bad that even CNN fact checker Daniel Dale, who has been very harsh on Trump for several years, wrote an entire column highlighting the errors and dishonesty.

 

In the “twitter-community-notes” channel found on the Harris-Walz Discord, paid Democrat staffers are also writing dubious Community Notes on X to undermine GOP and Trump messaging. They then encourage volunteers to rate them positively.

 

The Harris-Walz server even has a “Twitter (X) Community Notes Training” module, which describes how users can quickly bump up their Community Notes “Rating Impact,” which allows them to write their own Community Notes with a high enough status. They also describe “problems” with Community Notes, such as Joe Biden being tagged in “inaccurate Community Notes,” and how users can rate them negatively………………..

DENVER — The Colorado Secretary of State’s Office inadvertently posted a spreadsheet to its website with a hidden tab that included voting system passwords.

 

In a statement to 9NEWS, a spokesperson for the Colorado Secretary of State’s Office said that “the Department is working to remedy this situation where necessary.”

 

“The Department took immediate action as soon as it was aware of this and informed the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), which closely monitors and protects the county’s essential security infrastructure,” the spokesperson said.

 

On Tuesday morning, Colorado Republican Party Vice Chair Hope Scheppelman shared the hidden tab discovery in a mass email, along with an affidavit from someone who claims they had downloaded the Excel file from the Colorado Secretary of State’s website and discovered the hidden tab by simply clicking “unhide.” The name on the affidavit was blacked out in the Republican Party email.

 

9NEWS left a voicemail with Scheppelman on Tuesday afternoon.

 

The passwords that were in the hidden tab are known as BIOS passwords and are one part of the security process for Colorado’s voting machines.

 

They are passwords needed to configure system settings.

 

“There are two unique passwords for every election equipment component, which are kept in separate places and held by different parties. Passwords can only be used with physical in-person access to a voting system,” a spokesperson for the Colorado Secretary of State’s Office said.

 

"To be very clear, we do not see this as a full security threat to the state. This is not a security threat," Colorado's Democratic Secretary of State Jena Griswold told 9NEWS Tuesday. "There are two passwords to get into any voting component, along with physical access. We have layers of security, and out of just an abundance of caution, have staff in the field changing passwords, looking at access logs and looking at the entire situation and continuing our investigation."

 

Griswold said the spreadsheet containing the partial passwords was up on the office's website for several months before the error was realized.

 

Last week, Griswold held a press conference for an unrelated case of voter fraud in Mesa County. As of the press conference, Griswold said her office was not aware of the passwords posted on their own website.

 

"We have no reason to believe that there are any security breaches or compromises in the state of Colorado. We've been working with federal partners. We have people in the field right now going and changing passwords, looking at access logs, looking at chain of custody books, by the way, they were already looking at chain of custody for weeks. We do take this seriously, but the action is out of an abundance of caution," Griswold said.

 

Under state law, voting equipment has to be in secure rooms with badge access and 24/7 surveillance. County clerks are supposed to keep a log of the secure ballot areas.

 

Matt Crane, a former Republican Arapahoe County Clerk and current executive director of the Colorado Clerks Association, said the fact that the passwords were online, albeit hidden, is concerning, but that the group is satisfied with the actions the Colorado Secretary of State’s Office is taking.

 

"The truth is, is this a concern? Yes," Crane said. "Is it being mitigated? Yes. Does this mean that all of the computers are connected to the internet and that votes are being flipped? No."

 

Crane said that because every voter votes on a paper ballot – yes, mail-in ballots are still paper ballots – any discrepancies can be audited and remedied.

 

"I want to stress here, this isn't our Republicans, but you will have some Republicans who will use this for political and financial purposes. Whereas we as clerks, we will stay in the truth in honoring our oath of office to serve our constituents in a truthful and honest manner," Crane said.

 

Griswold did not tell county clerks about the passwords. She argued this was not 'not disclosing' the issue.

 

"We did not decide not to disclose something to county clerks. We were actively investigating along with federal partners," Griswold said. "We want to try to take as measured of approaches to situations as possible and gather good information. So, along those lines, we are still in an active investigation."

 

There is a risk-limiting audit that takes place after voting is complete, but before the election is certified, that can address any election discrepancy. A select number of ballots are pulled for a specific race in each county and compared to the machine count. Colorado started doing risk-limiting audits in 2017, and in every case, it has verified the machine count to the paper ballots.

Avio picks developer for first US rocket motor production facility

Italian rocket maker Avio plans to set up its first solid motor production facility in the United States in 2028 to capture growing demand in the space and defense markets.

The company’s recently established U.S.-based subsidiary said Oct. 29 that it has contracted real estate development firm ACMI Properties to pick a location for the factory in the first half of 2025.

 

While the facility’s core focus would be on missiles for U.S. government tactical needs, following a contract with defense contractor Raytheon and a partnership with the U.S. Army, Avio USA CEO James Syring said there is also strong demand for boosters from commercial space launchers.

“The demand signal was very, very strong on the defense tactical side,” said Syring, a retired U.S. Navy Vice Admiral and former director of the U.S. Missile Defense Agency, “but as we got into those very detailed discussions, the space side has come up more recently.”

 

He said Avio seeks to provide additional capacity to the industrial base for large solid rocket motor boosters in the United States, where Northrop Grumman is the primary supplier.

“Obviously, [Northrop] are a huge company,” he said, “but given the expertise and the manufacturing capability that we have in Europe for these types of big boosters, we believe … there’s a niche for us over here in terms of that capacity.”

 

Avio develops solid, liquid and cryogenic propulsion systems and is prime contractor for Europe’s Vega rocket program.

The company is also a sub-contractor for Ariane 6, which uses Vega boosters.

In addition to a solid rocket motor production facility at its base in Italy, Avio has a facility in French Guiana, which hosted Ariane 6’s inaugural launch in July.

 

Avio USA is based in Arlington, Virginia, and is structured to comply with the country’s security and export-control regulations, including being governed by a U.S.-led board of directors.

ACMI, or American Center for Manufacturing Innovation, said it is considering all 50 states in the U.S. for Avio’s first manufacturing facility in the country.

The contract also marks the developer’s first rocket factory project.

Journalist Claims There Are 'A Lot of Attempts' to Stop Witnesses from Testifying at UFO Congressional Hearing==

November 13th is set to be a huge day for alien enthusiasts, as Congress has scheduled a hearing on UFOs, which are officially known as unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs).

The hearing, led by Rep. Nancy Mace, R-S.C., is expected to feature several government officials and UAP experts and will likely address the several unexplained aerial sightings that have occurred around military bases over the last year.

Some in the alien-believer community think that this hearing could finally confirm that the government knows about the existence of extraterrestrials who have visited Earth.

 

However, J. Corbell, a documentarian and journalist who covers all things aliens, says that the powers that be are already trying to silence people scheduled to speak at the hearing.

“We are in a crisis right now of journalism in America and there are a lot of attempts right now to stop witnesses — firsthand whistleblowers to UAP — from testifying,” Corbell told NBC News.

 

Corbell didn’t name anyone specifically, but he said that these firsthand witnesses are facing pressure to not reveal what they know.

That said, he believes that the hearing won’t be stopped and that “the world is going to catch up really soon.”

 

“This is the message that’s already been said by Representative Nancy Mace,” Corbell explained. “Come Hell or high water, the hearing is on. Nothing can stop it now.

Nothing can, and truth and significant transparency regarding UAP is unstoppable. So what the American and global public does with that, that’s up to them.”

 

Gadi Schwartz asked Corbell about the Pentagon’s response to the dozens of unidentified drones that were spotted flying above Langley Air Force Base in Virginia for several weeks at the end of last year.

A spokesperson noted that the drones “didn’t appear to exhibit any hostile intent” but reassured the media that it was “something we have kept our eye on.”

 

While Corbell said the response is an acknowledgement that “there are incursions on sensitive military installations,” he insisted “that is a small, tiny piece of opaque glass in a larger mosaic of what UAP represents or could represent to the larger global and American public.”

Corbell ended his interview with a message “for every whistleblower and every American patriot”:

“Do not fear the truth. Fear is just your own shadow on the floor and don’t forget it,” Corbell said, referencing lyrics from “Shadow” by Livingston.

 

“We’re going to have a different conversation after and on November 13th. The world is going to learn things they didn’t know before,” Corbell concluded.

A woman from the state of Washington claims she received 16 ballots addressed to her apartment, each of them listing a different name.

 

Jami Visaya said the first stack of ballots arrived Friday, KING 5, a local NBC affiliate, reported Tuesday. She moved into the Bellevue apartment Oct. 3, she told the outlet.

The US Is Funding 70% of Israel’s Wars

 

A new report by the Israeli outlet Calcalist reviewed Israeli military spending on wars since October 7, finding that Washington is funding 70% of Tel Aviv’s military costs. In a little over a year, the US has provided Israel with more than $20 billion in military aid.

Ten Civilians, Mostly Women and Children, Killed in Israeli Attack on Lebanese Coastal Town

Israeli airstrikes continued against the southern coast of Lebanon today, hitting the small coastal town of Sarafand. The town’s mayor reported at least 10 civilians had been killed, nearly all women and children.

 

The Lebanese Health Ministry reported a lower death toll earlier in the day but added that rescue operations were still underway. The ministry also said that at least 21 other civilians were wounded in the attack.

 

Israel did not comment on the attack on Sarafand. The IDF has a general policy of “not commenting” on Israeli strikes first reported in the foreign media, which includes virtually all Israeli strikes against civilian targets.

 

Israel attacks are taking place throughout Lebanon and have killed thousands. Israel has also issued mass evacuation orders, affecting many of the highly populated areas in the country. Over a million people have been displaced by these orders.

 

Later on Tuesday evening, Israel carried out a follow-up attack in the Sarafand area, this time hitting the town of Haret Saida, killing at least five civilians. Idaho’s Southwest District Health will no longer offer COVID-19 vaccines after its board voted 4-3 last week to pull the shots from the 30 locations where it provides healthcare services.

“It’s the first health agency in America to do that,” Laura Demaray, a Southwest Idaho resident and nurse who attended the Oct. 22 vote, told The Defender.

 

Miste Karlfeldt, executive director of Health Freedom Idaho, agreed that the board’s vote is historic. “It’s thrilling,” she told The Defender.

 

The board’s vote came after it received about 300 public comments urging the district, which encompasses six counties, to stop promoting the shots.

 

Just before the board voted, members heard presentations from cardiologist Dr. Peter McCullough, pathologist Dr. Ryan Cole, pediatrician Dr. Renata Moon and obstetrician and gynecologist Dr. James Thorp on safety concerns related to the COVID-19 vaccines.

 

Dr. John Tribble, the board’s only physician, invited them to speak.

 

“Dr. Tribble was a very brave board member who is very aware of the harms of the COVID injection,” said Demaray. “He asked me to help gather the presenters.”

 

Demaray, who said she knows many people injured by the COVID-19 vaccines, and others reached out to experts who could present data related to COVID-19 vaccine harms to the board. “It was total teamwork.”

 

Mary Holland, Children’s Health Defense CEO, applauded the board’s action:

 

“After hearing from 300 constituents, listening to well-informed physicians and assessing the public record, the Southwest Idaho Health District Board made an informed decision not to stock its own clinics with COVID shots.”

 

Demaray and Holland pointed out that the board didn’t take away anyone’s freedom to get a COVID-19 vaccine. “If residents want, they can obtain the shots from other pharmacies and doctors’ offices,” Holland said.

 

Demaray said the board’s decision showed “there’s some distrust in this shot.” She added:

 

“If a health district is giving a shot in their own clinics, then it means they believe in the shot and they don’t think somebody will get hurt. It means they support it tacitly.”

 

Holland said, “The Health District Board was conveying its values to the public — ‘these products are unsafe and we do not promote them’ — and the board was within its authority to do this.”

 

A precedent for other health agencies?

 

Tribble told The Defender some of the backstory leading up to the historic vote. “The people of this district were demanding answers,” he said. “Many came forward with heartbreaking stories of vaccine injury.”

 

After listening to its residents, the board members felt it was important to allow “the free and open discussion and evaluation of the evidence for and against the safety and efficacy of the COVID-19 vaccine.”

 

In addition to hearing presentations from McCullough, Moon, Cole and Thorp, the board also heard from district staff physician Dr. Perry Jansen who recommended keeping the vaccine on the district’s clinic shelves.

Syrian Army Shot Down Ten Drones Over Idlib, Aleppo

 

The air defenses of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) shot down ten drones over the countryside of Idlib and Aleppo, the Syrian Ministry of Defense announced on October 30.

 

In a brief statement, the ministry said that the drones were launched by “armed terrorist groups” with the aim of “attacking army points and the surrounding safe villages and towns.”

 

Most of Idlib countryside and the western countryside of Aleppo are a part of the so-called Greater Idlib region which is occupied by al-Qaeda-affiliated Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS). The terrorist group was most likely behind the failed drone attack.

 

Several photos released by the ministry and a video shared by the official Syrian Arab News Agency showed the wreckage of the drones.

Two IRS whistleblowers have claimed they were banned from investigating Joe Biden amid the government's probe into his son Hunter.

 

Gary Shapley And Joseph Ziegler sat down with veteran journalist Catherine Herridge for an interview where they claimed the IRS looks the other way when it comes to the country's powerful elite, which they call 'sensitive persons.'

HARRISBURG — Despite a bump following Joe Biden’s exit from the presidential race, Democrats in Pennsylvania are entering the home stretch of the 2024 election with their weakest voter registration advantage compared to Republicans in recent decades.

The party’s raw registration numbers began to rise after Biden dropped out in late July and that trend is continuing. But simultaneously, the number of Republicans has increased even more quickly.In other words, Democrats’ overall share of voters is still declining, and recent increases haven’t made up for losses over the past four years.

The Pennsylvania Department of State makes available voter registration data as far back as 1998.In those 26 years, Democrats have never had as small an advantage as they do now. As of Sept. 16, Democrats made up 44% of registered voters in the commonwealth, down from a 2009 high of 51.2%, while Republicans were at 40.2%, up from 36.9% in 2009. Unaffiliated and third-party voters have boosted their numbers even more, from 11.9% in 2009 to 15.7%.

Republican activists argue their party’s rising voter registrant share proves Donald Trump can once again pull off a Pennsylvania victory. Democrats, meanwhile, say they’ve seen promising trends since Vice President Kamala Harris entered the race, despite their party’s still-declining share of registered voters.Registration has been a particular focus for Early Vote Action, a national GOP operation. The group is run by Scott Presler, a longtime conservative activistwith far-right ties.

Presler has lately focused his efforts — and his national profile — on voter registration, particularly in Pennsylvania. He regularly posts updates on the number of voters he claims his organization has registered. Early Vote Action has contractors across the state who set up voter registration tables and other outreach efforts. Using an app, the contractors also instruct volunteers on how to target key voters by sending postcards and texts, door knocking, and making phone calls.

Jondavid Longo, Early Vote Action’s Pennsylvania director, said the group sometimes runs into difficulties getting voters to trust the election process or agree to vote by mail, after years of GOP claims that the system is broken or rigged. But he’s also convinced that strong Republican numbers aren’t just due to regular registration tides, but are a true expression of sentiment.“It's obvious to everyone that Republican voter registration efforts, and registration efforts in general, are leaning in favor of the Republican Party,” said Longo, who is also the mayor of the Western Pennsylvania borough Slippery Rock, a Butler County GOP committee member, and a community college professor.

“In almost every county, consistently, for almost an entire year, since January, Republicans have outperformed Democrats in voter registration numbers nearly every month or and in nearly every county,” Longo said.

United States Marines under General Eric M. Smith’s command arrested two people who were trying to fill Pennsylvania drop boxes with thousands of ballots for Kamala Harris, a source in the general’s office told Real Raw News.

 

As reported previously, White Hats are currently deployed throughout the country in a painstaking effort to mitigate election fraud. One source told RRN the anti-fraud task force is formed of Marines, JAG and CID agents, members of the Special Operations community, and even a few thousand of Colonel Kurtz’s Red Hats, all of whom have sworn an oath to “Stop the Steal” and prevent “mules” from yet again stuffing drop boxes with fraudulent ballots.

 

The use of drop boxes in Pennsylvania has been a hotly debated issue. Counties in the Commonwealth began widespread adoption of drop boxes in 2020 as the Deep State deceived the nation into believing that voting in public places was unacceptable and dangerous due to the widespread outbreaks of COVID-19, also known as the “Plandemic.” Ahead of the November 2020 election, Trump’s campaign filed a lawsuit in federal court attempting to ban drop boxes, claiming they were unconstitutional and citing security concerns. But the Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruled them permissible, and a federal judge, the dishonorable—and possibly un-American–J. Nicholas Ranjan sided with the state’s decision. Pennsylvania Attorney General Josh Shapiro, a Democrat, called the ruling “a win for voters and our democracy.”

 

Nonetheless, one-half of Pennsylvania’s 67 counties refused to use drop boxes because they have yet to formally be enshrined in state law. Our source said White Hats focused on counties that do—particularly Bucks County, as its boxes were heavily abused in 2020.

 

At midnight Saturday, Marines observed a van park beside an outdoor drop box at the Upper Bucks Government Center in Quakertown. The driver opened the rear doors and removed “sacks” of ballots. Although the drop box was locked—a sign on it said no ballots accepted after 8:00 p.m.—the man pulled a key from his pocket, inserted it inside the lock, opened the receptacle, and began cramming ballot after ballot after ballot into the box. The Marines jumped the guy, described to RRN as a Hispanic male who spoke poor English and had no identification, and they smashed his head against the pavement. The Marines examined the ballots and noticed a pattern: They were all votes for Kamala Harris.

 

The Marines handcuffed the unconscious man and took him into custody. The van, our source said, was a rental, though it’s unclear how a likely illegal immigrant with no driver’s license acquired the van.

Bucks County Judge Jeffrey Trauger has ordered the Bucks County Board of Elections to extend its on-demand mail-in ballot deadline until "the close of business" on Friday, Nov. 1.The Wednesday afternoon ruling stems from a lawsuit filed several hours earlier by former President Donald Trump’s campaign and other state and national GOP groupsclaiming Bucks County illegally turned away voters.

The filing with the Bucks County Court of Common Pleas, posted online late Wednesday morning, alleges that the county violated the state’s election laws by not allowing some voters to use the “on-demand mail-ballot” option in the final hours of the mail-in ballot application at 5 p.m. Oct. 29. Trump and his allies are asking to extend the mail ballot registration window until the close of business today.

On-demand mail voting in Pennsylvania is a process where a registered voter can apply for, complete and return a mail ballot in one stop, rather than waiting for their ballot to arrive by mail and then returning it later.

The window for on-demand voting is only open between when ballots are available until the application deadline, and a surge of participation has caused hours-long waits in multiple counties, including Bucks, over at least the last week. The lawsuit states that election offices in BucksCounty turned away voters “without allowing the opportunity to even submit their applications” and “precluded them from voting by mail, as is their right under the Election Code.”

“In other words, by appearing at one of the Board's offices during posted operating hours and by the application deadlineto exercise their On Demand Mailin-Ballot Option, many of Plaintiffs' members and supporters effectively attempted to apply for a mail in ballot by the application deadline but the Board refused to process the same,” attorney Walter Zimolong, based in Delaware County, wrote in the court documents.

Among the filings are declarations from three Bucks County voters who said they arrived at one ofthree Bucks County election offices between 2:40 p.m. and 3:25 p.m., just hours before the mail-in application deadline, and were “told by county officials I would not be able to request, receive, vote, and submit a mailed-in ballotand that I would have to return on a different day.”Trump’s campaign is joined in the suit by the Republican National Committee, Republican Party of Pennsylvania, Pennsylvania Republican Senate candidate Dave McCormick and his campaign.

What has Bucks County said?

Bucks County officials did not immediately respond to requests for comment Wednesday afternoon and did not comment on initial claims at a Tuesday night rally in Allentown by RNC Chairman Micheal Whatley and McCormick.

The county did post from its account on X, formerly Twitter, on Tuesday that some voters were “briefly” told they couldn’t be accommodated for on-demand voting, but added that those voters “were given the opportunity to submit mail-in ballot applications” that same day.

A follow-up post in that thread said that the ballots would either be mailed to those voters or they could pick them up later this week.

Did the state require lines to remain open?

A repeated refrain in the lawsuit is that voters were under the impression that they had the right to both request and receive or “cast” their mail by the Tuesday deadline.

The lawsuit features another X post on the Pennsylvania Department of State account, saying thatPennsylvania Secretary of State Al Schmidt “expressly advised voters” that being in line before the deadline “should be permitted to apply for and receive a mail-in ballot.”The post referenced in the lawsuit doesn’t specifically say that voters would receive a ballot.

“If you are in line at a county elections office before tonight at 5 p.m. to apply for your mail-in ballot, counties must give you an opportunity to do so," the post read. "Our team continues to work with all counties to ensure every single eligible voter who wants to vote by mail ballot is able to.”

Under state law, voters who are in line at polling places on Election Day before polls close at 8 p.m. can’t be turned away, but that may not be a legal requirement for the on-demand voting option.

A slate of Republican lawmakers from Bucks County introduced a bill Tuesday that would treat on-demand mail ballot lines the same as lines on Election Day after multiple days of reported long lines and claims that voters were previously "turned away."
