the fight over the spending budget is not as we are being told. The real problem dems have with it is the funding and approval for congress to use military for deportations. I'll explain:

 

DJT proclaimed invasion on Jan 20 2025

 

DJT declared a National Emergency at the border on Jan 20 2025.

 

DJT was required by the War Powers Act to notify Congress within 48 hours if he is using the military.

 

DJT is required to get Congress approval within 60 for continued military and funding. Congress can pass a resolution extending that 60 days but unless they do that DJT must have their approval. If they fail to give it then DJT is required to begin withdrawing military. He has 30 days to complete that.

 

This is why Nancy is saying a 4 week continuation of funding ( she wants the approval and funding removed ) DJT would then be forced to begin withdrawal if Nancy's plan were agreed to.

 

This bill has 85 bil per year for 4 years for military use at the border and for deportation. This means for the entire 4 yr term DJT has Congress approval to repel the invasion and all the power that comes with it. Dems have to walk a fine line for 4 years and cannot interfere with DJT on anything related to this topic or they face Military detention themselves

 

I will add Schumer might be more concerned about himself personally and not want reduced government where DJT gets to determine what is essential to keep open. Schumer is more concerned about DOGE having free run of the joint to find fraud (him) and DJT can reduce Federal Courts where they are blocking his as much as they can

Now, despite claiming poverty, Hunter is living the high life in one of the most expensive neighborhoods on the continent of Africa, all while being protected by the US Secret Service!

 

I can confirm via my on the ground investigation that the US Secret Service is working with the US Embassy in Pretoria, South Africa to provide US taxpayer funded protection for Hunter Biden and and his wife during their entire time in South Africa, and his Secret Service detail includes 12 agents per day.

In April 1941 Patton, who had been acting commander of the Second Armored Division for six months, was given permanent command and promoted to major general. His most important priority was training men for war. One of his first acts as commander had been to build an amphitheater in the wooded hills of Fort Benning that could accommodate the entire division. It was soon known as the “Patton Bowl.” The earliest versions of his soon-to-be-famous “blood and guts” speeches were delivered there. As one soldier recalled:

 

I am positive the Patton image was born on the first day he spoke in that bowl. Following an old cavalry credo to the effect you should always “Hit ’em where they ain’t,” he said to us: “You have to grab ’em by the[censored] and kick ’em in the [censored] . . . .” At the end of the speech he said, “I am taking this division into Berlin and when I do, I want every one of your tracks to be carrying the stench of German blood and guts.”

 

 

But it was not just a speech, it was a performance. Patton was not blessed with a deep, booming voice. His voice was actually rather high, certainly not the gravelly bass of George C. Scott in the Hollywood movie Patton. But he was a master of the dramatic pause, lowering his voice to great effect, forcing the audience to listen carefully, before bellowing out a line of profanity. With the skill of a method actor, Patton would also strive to achieve an intimidating mien—his “war face”—that would communicate his intensity to his audience.

 

Many elements of the speech were recycled over and over. Some lines became classic.

 

Men this stuff that some sources sling around about America wanting out of this war, not wanting to fight, is a crock of bullshit. Americans love to fight. All real Americans love the sting and clash of battle.

HARNWELL: Putin’s no fool — I just don’t see him accepting this 30-day ceasefire

 

I think people around President Trump are spending too much time reading their own press releases. They need to see Ukraine how Putin sees it (and how Xi sees it).

 

I do hope I’m wrong, but I don’t believe there is going to be any 30-day ceasefire imminently. The momentum is massively with Russia, and it would frankly be crazy to pause hostilities now when it’s so close to retaking Kursk.

 

Russia has a job to do, and it’s not finished yet. And China would love to see America burn itself out over Ukraine. The best thing POTUS can do is DISENGAGE the US from Ukraine ASAP.

Grassley, Johnson Release Records Showing FBI Obtained Trump, Pence Cell Phones, Conducted Sweeping Interviews to Advance Anti-Trump Arctic FrostInvestigation

 

WASHINGTON – In a letter to Attorney General Pam Bondi and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Director Kash Patel, Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) and Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations Chairman Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) made public legally protected whistleblower disclosures showing the FBI, as part of its Arctic Frost investigation, acquired the government cell phones of President Donald Trump and former Vice President Mike Pence, among other government officials. FBI agents used taxpayer dollars to crisscross the country and conduct dozens of interviews in support of the political probe.

 

The unclassified FBI records convey the alarming scope and speed of the FBI’s 2022 investigation of President Trump, which they dubbed “Operation Arctic Frost.” The investigation – launched by anti-Trump FBI agent Timothy Thibault in a breach of FBI protocol – formed the basis of Special Counsel Jack Smith’s elector case against Trump. Upon opening the investigation, Thibault vowed it would be “prioritized over all others in the Branch” and commented that “it frankly took too long for us to open this [investigation].”

 

“Sunshine is the best disinfectant,” the chairmen wrote to Bondi and Patel. “The American people deserve to know the complete extent of the corruption within the DOJ and FBI that led to the investigation into President Trump. We are making this information public for purposes of public accountability and to provide specific examples of past behavior at your institutions that must not be repeated. Quite simply, the public has a right to know what happened in Arctic Frost and, based on what we’ve exposed to date, the American public deserves better from its law enforcement agencies. It is important that every individual at your agencies maintains the highest level of professionalism, and does not allow political bias to motivate or guide their investigative work.”

 

Within weeks of opening Arctic Frost on April 13, 2022, FBI agents began taking aggressive action to build out their case. The following is a summary of some Arctic Frost investigatory updates, based on unclassified internal FBI records:

 

Update 1 (April 22-25, 2022):

 

FBI begins scheduling over a dozen interviews in coordination with 13 FBI field offices.

DOJ and FBI begin the process of acquiring Trump and Pence’s government phones, which were in the Biden White House’s possession.

 

Update 2 (May 2-3, 2022):

 

FBI begins analyzing communications between Trump team members and Republican electors.

FBI meets with Justice Department (DOJ) officials to discuss possible search warrants for the Trump and Pence cell phones.

Interviews are set to take place with those who “signed and/or mailed the certificates in each state, as well as the Trump Campaign’s Directors of Election Day Operations for the relevant states, and certain GOP officials who are believed to have facilitated the scheme by communicating with individuals associated with the Trump campaign and the ‘fraudulent’ or ‘alternate’ electors.”

The DOJ OIG investigation that includes Jeffrey Clark is formally merged with the FBI Arctic Frost investigation, providing FBI access to phones and email accounts from a variety of DOJ officials, including former Attorney General Bill Barr.

Ukrainian military contradicts Trump on Kursk Region ‘encirclement’

Kiev has claimed the report is false and part of Moscow’s “manipulation”

 

The Ukrainian General Staff has denied that Kiev’s troops have been encircled in Russia’s border region of Kursk. The statement was issued after US President Donald Trump urged Moscow to spare the “thousands” of Ukrainian soldiers trapped in the area.

 

All the reports about the encirclement “are false and fabricated by the Russians for political manipulation,” the General Staff said in a statement on Telegram on Friday,adding that it was done to “exert pressure” on Kiev and its Western backers. The statement never mentioned Trump or the US by name.

 

According to the Ukrainian military, Kiev’s forces are continuing to fight in the region following a regrouping.

 

Earlier on Friday, Trump said in a post on Truth Social that “thousands of Ukrainian troops are completely surrounded by the Russian military and in a very bad and vulnerable position.” He called on Russian President Vladimir Putin to spare the lives of the trapped soldiers.

 

Putin responded to Trump’s request by stating that Russia was willing to do that even despite the “numerous crimes” committed by the Ukrainian forces against local civilians.He called on Kiev to order its troops in the area to surrender, promising their lives would be preserved and they would be given dignified treatment if they lay down their arms.

 

Trump’s statement came following a visit by US special envoy Steve Witkoff to Moscow, where he was expected to deliver the details of a 30-day truce initiative to the Russian side. A day before the meeting, Putin visited Kursk Region, where he was briefed about the situation on the ground by the head of the Russian General Staff, General Valery Gerasimov.

 

As of Wednesday evening, Russian forces had liberated 86% of the territory that was occupied by the Ukrainians in August 2024, according to the general. The remaining Ukrainian units in the area were largely “encircled” and “isolated,” he explained.

 

Kiev launched a major offensive into the Kursk area in early August 2024, capturing the town of Sudzha and dozens of villages. Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky said the incursion was aimed at gaining leverage for future peace talks. The Ukrainian advance was quickly halted by the Russian military, which has been gradually reclaiming ground ever since.

The Nevada man accused of plotting a third assassination attempt on President Donald Trump has filed a $100 million defamation lawsuit against Riverside County, several outlets reported on Thursday.

 

Vem Miller was arrested while heading to a Trump rally in California’s Coachella Valley on Oct.12, 2024. He faced charges of possession of an unregistered shotgun, a loaded handgun and a high-capacity magazine.

 

Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco prematurely claimed that his deputies had “probably” foiled a third plot to kill Trump. The former president—who went on to win the presidential election—narrowly escaped two assassination attempts in July and September.

Miller claimed he voluntarily told deputies he had the guns in his car—but said he was ignorant of California’s gun laws as the reason for transporting them. He subsequently pleaded guilty to misdemeanor weapons charges.

 

“There was an assassination that happened on that day,” Miller said. “And it really was my character.”

 

In an interview with Fox 11, Miller added, “It’s a necessary step because you have a sheriff here that thought via character assassination that he could build a reputation for himself for his governor run. And this is something that should simply not occur, that somebody in a powerful position like that gets to destroy somebody’s life and reputation for his own personal gain.”

 

Miller defended his lawsuit, claiming Bianco’s false statements have destroyed his life and prompted death threats.

 

“My parents are deeply traumatized by this,” he continued. “I’ve had just consistent threats, innuendos via social media, via text message, sometimes on a daily level. And I’ve just had to alter how I do things. Like even at the press conference today, it was just unnerving to be back in Riverside and just having to watch my back consistently all the time.”

NATO countries should restore ties with Russia – bloc chief

Europe and the United States should gradually normalize relations with Russia once the Ukraine conflict is over, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte has said.

 

The statement comes a day after the head of the US-led military bloc met President Donald Trump at the White House and amid ongoing efforts by Washington to establish a ceasefire between Moscow and Kiev.

 

Trump has also expressed interest in restoring economic ties with Russia, an idea that was supported by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

 

Speaking to Bloomberg TV on Friday,Rutte recalled that he had “many dealings” and “many negotiations” with Putin while prime minister of the Netherlands.

Most EU leaders, with the notable exceptions of Hungary’s Viktor Orban and Slovakia’s Robert Fico, have advocated for continued confrontation with Russia, despite the ongoing peace process.

 

European NATO countries have been supplying weapons to Kiev since the escalation of the conflict in 2022. Some bloc members, such as France, have floated the idea of deploying troops in Ukraine to monitor a truce.

 

Russia has denounced the idea and insisted that any NATO contingent in Ukraine deployed without a UN mandate will be considered a legitimate target.

 

Moscow has accused the EU of militarizing against Russia, after the bloc’s leaders backed €800 billion ($860 bn) in debt and tax-breaks for its military industrial complex.

 

As NATO’s biggest financial contributor, Trump has consistently criticized the bloc’s European members for not meeting the defense expenditure targets.

 

NATO has maintained a hostile position towards Moscow since Crimea joined the Russian Federation in 2014 and the subsequent escalation of the Ukraine conflict in 2022. The developments led to the suspension of practical cooperation and a significant military buildup in NATO countries on Russia’s borders.

In 1950, Executive Order 10096 went into effect to create a universal method to allocate patent rights between government agencies and their employees. The majority of patents owned by the federal government exist under this executive order's provisions.

 

Within the executive order, the main section details that the federal government obtains all rights to inventions made by employees if the invention:

 

Is created using government equipment or facilities

Is created during working hours

Is created with the assistance of another government employee on duty

Relates to the inventor's official duties

An additional provision under the order states that the government does not have to take title for the invention if it doesn't serve a benefit. For example, an invention created by an employee using government materials or time only minimally does not require the government to take title. If the government doesn't have sufficient interest in the invention, it may have the right to take title but could elect not to do so. Even when the government chooses not to take title, it does retain a royalty-free, non-exclusive, and irrevocable license, as well as the power to grant additional licenses.

 

The executive order includes guidelines to allocate patent rights, but allocating those rights requires all complex issues to be resolved first. Some of the complex issues that can come up include:

 

What are a government employee or contractor's official duties?

When is an invention actually made?

When should the government elect not to take the title?

When resolving these issues, the various governmental agencies will review factual circumstances and how they relate to the executive order, as well as how they are interpreted by a judge.

 

The right for the federal government to own a patent for an invention developed under research and development sponsored by the government through small business organizations, universities, and nonprofit organizations exists in accordance with terms set forth in the agreement. Prior to 1980, the clauses related to patent rights in a funding agreement were decided by the agency's policies and legislation. In some cases, the agencies would keep the title, and in others, they would not.

The Senate on Friday passed the House-approved Continuing Resolution (CR) in order to avoid a government shutdown.

 

The final vote was 54-46, with one Democratic senator and one Independent senator voting in favor of the resolution, and one Republican voting against it.

 

The Democrat was New Hampshire Sen. Jeanne Shaheen, while the Independent was Maine Sen. Angus King. Both also voted in favor of advancing the resolution earlier Friday. Republican Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul voted against the bill.

 

President Donald Trump will have to sign the bill before midnight to avert a shutdown.
