Anyone who wants to have sex with a young girl in Los Angeles can drive to “the Blade,” a notorious red-light district where 12-year-olds are openly walking the streets — and cops are all but powerless to thwart the disgusting pedo bazaar.

The children line up along a 2-mile section of Figueroa Street — a k a “the Kiddle Stroll” — clad in next to nothing to indulge in their johns’ sickest fantasies for around a hundred bucks.

Many of the girls were recruited from the foster-care system after being seduced on social media, authorities said.

Occasionally, they do their rounds with bruises and split lips — souvenirs from violent pimps who savagely beat them when they step out of line or don’t meet their quota.

Earlier last year, a group of local and federal law-enforcement agencies launched an initiative to crack down on the trafficking and rescue the victims.

In August, the city attorney’s office announced that 190 traffickers had been arrested and 200 children rescued, some as young as 12.

Yet a trafficking victim interviewed by the New York Times said “the Blade” is now busier than ever before, with young girls being shipped in from across the country.

The growing throngs of exploited children inspired a nickname for the district from the LA city attorney: “Kiddie Stroll.”

At the state level, new laws have hampered authorities’ ability to identify victims and prosecute their traffickers.

Some of these laws were meant to shift blame away from trafficking victims and onto their pimps, including one law passed in 2019 that treats underage prostitutes as victims of abuse rather than criminal offenders.

But another controversial law — SB-357, passed in 2023 — bars law enforcement from approaching an underage victim based on how she’s dressed.

A 12-year-old girl could walk by in lingerie, and there would be nothing a police officer could do about it.

The law kicked off a prostitution free-for-all, critics claim — and not just in Los Angeles.

“Did you know that the traffickers and the buyers were boasting on social media because of the new law that they can openly sell human beings for sex on our streets?” lamented San Diego District Attorney Summer Stephan in a press conference.

LA’s notorious Hoover Gang is behind much of the trafficking on Figueroa Street, authorities say.

In August, the US Attorney General announced the arrest of 11 Hoover ringleaders, including Amaya “Lady Duck” Armstead, 25, an alleged prostitution queenpin who was specifically charged with trafficking a 14-year-old girl.

The joint bust by local and federal agencies was a crown jewel in LA’s ongoing fight against exploitation in Los Angeles. Yet business continues to boom.

A recent police ride-along by a Times reporter revealed that young girls are still walking Figueroa Street.

Many of the underage girls arrested by police during that ride-along had been booked before, but they had refused to go to a shelter and ended up back with their pimps.

The skies are getting turbulent for Democrats as the nation’s largest pilot associations—representing tens of thousands of airline and cargo pilots—are publicly turning against Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer’s ongoing government shutdown. Major unions that typically align with Democrats are calling for the immediate passage of a “clean continuing resolution” (CR) to reopen the government, blaming political obstruction for jeopardizing air travel safety and national stability.

The difference this time is clear. During previous shutdowns, union messaging leaned heavily in favor of Democrats, often blaming Republicans for obstruction. But now, the narrative has shifted. Even union leadership, long seen as part of the Democratic base, is acknowledging that Schumer’s refusal to pass a clean CR is endangering both worker livelihoods and passenger safety.

Democrats are demanding billions in new funding for illegal immigrants’ healthcare and housing as a condition for reopening the government. President Trump and House Republicans have refused, insisting on a “clean CR” that maintains essential services without turning the federal budget into a left-wing wish list. The result has been a partial shutdown that’s increasingly alienating moderate voters and union members alike—two groups Democrats once took for granted.

Prince Andrew hosted Jeffrey Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell and Harvey Weinstein at Royal Lodge, the prince's private home in the grounds of Windsor Castle.

The trio visited the Windsor mansion as part of his daughter Beatrice's masked ball 18th birthday celebrations in 2006, two months after a US arrest warrant had been issued for Epstein for the sexual assault of a minor.

It had previously been reported that Epstein, Maxwell and Weinstein visited Windsor Castle for the event, but not that they had been hosted at Andrew's private home.

Andrew, who is facing increased scrutiny over his living arrangements in light of his relationship with Epstein, has not responded to a request for comment.

It is understood that Epstein, Maxwell and Weinstein visited Royal Lodge ahead of the main party, which took place in the state rooms of Windsor Castle and involved a champagne reception and banquet.

Royal Lodge is owned by the Crown Estate, a property business owned by the monarch but run independently with profits going to the Treasury.

The BBC has matched the trees and patio wall in a previously published image of the trio to other pictures of Royal Lodge.

A witness told the BBC they remembered seeing Weinstein and Epstein at a drinks event in the back garden of Royal Lodge - before guests headed to the main party at the castle.

The man who went viral for lobbing racially charged insults at Virginia gubernatorial candidate Winsome Earle-Sears during a college football game earlier this month, subsequently filed a police report claiming he was getting harassed after the incident went viral.

The Fairfax County Police Department confirmed to Fox News Digital that it was aware of the police report that was filed and that, ultimately, the department's threat assessment unit found that the information provided did not meet the criteria for a criminal investigation.

"Go back to Haiti!," the man from the viral video yelled at Sears, a Republican, during a James Madison University football game earlier this month. "Traitor!"

After the incident, Sears clarified on social media that she is an immigrant from Jamaica, not Haiti.

"I thought Democrats were supposed to love everyone," Sears quipped at the time.

The man, identified by local news reports as Scott Pogorelc, from Centerville, Virginia, was also reportedly fired by his employer, a subsidiary of government contractor Lockheed Martin. A JMU football player by the same last name is a redshirt senior on the Dukes' offensive line.

"We hold all of our employees and subsidiaries to the highest standards of integrity and professional conduct. Any behavior that violates our Code of Ethics will be thoroughly investigated and employees found in violation will be held accountable. Zeta Associates investigated the matter, and the individual is no longer employed," said a statement from a Lockheed Martin spokesperson, according to Fox 5 DC reporter Allison Papson.

Meanwhile, Pogorelc is also a Democratic Party donor, according to Federal Election Commission filings and the Virginia Public Access Project. Abigail Spanberger, the Democratic candidate for Virginia governor running against Sears, was among those he has donated to.

JMU Athletics did the right thing with the dumb Democrat who was caught on video heckling Winsome Earle-Sears at a football game a couple of weeks back.

The school announced that it has suspended a fan – turns out, the father of a grad student football player – who shouted “go back to Haiti, traitor” at Earle-Sears, the Republican nominee for governor, who isn’t even from Haiti, but rather, Jamaica.

Earle-Sears was among a group of elected pols – Jason Miyares, the MAGA attorney general, running for re-election, and Mark Warner, the Democrat U.S. senator who faces a re-election campaign next year – recognized on the field during the JMU-ODU game on Oct. 18.

The offender: Scott Pogorelc, whose son, James Pogorelc, is a grad student offensive lineman, who spent four years at Stanford and one at Duke.

The younger Pogorelc, who played his high-school ball at Chantilly High School in Northern Virginia, isn’t getting much run with the Dukes this season – 21 snaps on the O line, 14 on special teams.

Pogorelc the Elder is now banned from Bridgeforth Stadium, and also out of work – he was fired from his job as an engineer with Zeta Associates, a subsidiary of aerospace and defense manufacturer Lockheed Martin.

“We hold all of our employees and subsidiaries to the highest standards of integrity and professional conduct,” a Lockheed Martin representative told Fox 5 News in Washington. “Any behavior that violates our Code of Ethics will be thoroughly investigated, and employees found in violation will be held accountable. JMU Athletics also issued a statement on its ban for the dad:

“James Madison University Athletics holds high expectations of fan behavior, as outlined in our fan code of conduct, to which fans agree when they attend a JMU athletics event. This includes an expectation that all fans act with respect for one another and display civility.

“The actions observed in the video posted on social media do not reflect this standard, nor our university’s values; we condemn and do not tolerate this type of behavior. This person has been suspended from attending athletics events at JMU. There has been a rise of incivility across the country, and James Madison University aspires to be a model of good sportsmanship and civil discourse.”

BREAKING🚨: The House Oversight Committee on Tuesday published its final report on its investigation into the Biden’s administration’s use of an autopen, concluding that at least some of the president’s orders were invalid and calling on the Justice Department to investigate.

 

Earlier this year, the House Oversight Committee launched a probe into President Joe Biden’s alleged use of an autopen to sign pardons and other presidential orders during his waning days in office. 

 

After three months of investigation that included interviews with President Biden’s senior aides, the panel’s chairman, GOP Rep. James Comer from Kentucky, came to suspect that what he and his colleagues had uncovered could be used as evidence to overturn some of those executive actions because those senior staff failed to prove the president knew what he was signing. 

 

Now, Comer says his committee’s final report proves that many of President Biden’s autopen orders were, in fact, invalid. 

 

Oversight Committee believes that, in the absence of evidence “showing that President Biden indeed took a particular executive action, the Committee deems those actions taken through use of the autopen as void.” 

 

The final report calls on the Trump Justice Department to review the former president’s pardons and executive actions.

Russian President Vladimir Putin is the most popular leader in the world, American journalist Tucker Carlson has claimed, in an interview with RTVI US.

 

Outside of Western Europe, Canada, and the “Anglo-sphere,” it is almost impossible to meet someone who doesn’t like Putin, Carlson told the network.

 

”He is the most popular leader in the world, by far,” Carlson said, noting that the primary reason for Putin’s global popularity is the fact that he has “put his own country’s interests above his own in a lot of ways.

In ways that Western leaders don’t.”

 

Asked if his perspective on Putin’s worldview had changed after an interview with him in February 2024, Carlson said that he was surprised to realize that the Russian president “actually likes the West.”

And that he probably likes it “way more than anyone who would potentially replace Putin.”

He further proposed that this was one of the reasons the West “hates it so much” and wants to destroy it.

 

Carlson told Germany’s Bild, in July, that while Putin had been doing a “great job for Russia,” Western leaders were failing their people.

 

“Your country is going down, Russia is going up. You should be mad at your own leaders. You are mad at Putin instead,” he told the outlet.

Carlson went on to suggest that German officials were attacking Putin and Russia to distract the public from domestic economic and migration issues.

Did Nostradamus Predict the Arrival of 3I/ATLAS?

As reported by USA Herald, some enthusiasts and historians believe that Nostradamus may have hinted at events like the arrival of 3I/ATLAS.

One quatrain often cited reads: 'From the cosmos, a fireball will rise, a harbinger of fate; the world pleads. Science and fate in a cosmic dance, the fate of the Earth, a second chance.'

Baba Vanga's Alien Prophecy and 3I/ATLAS

Baba Vanga, the late Bulgarian clairvoyant who died more than 25 years ago, continues to trend on social media due to her alleged predictions.

Many of her 2025 prophecies circulating online are grim, often involving large-scale destruction and loss of life.

Among them is a claim that 'aliens' would visit Earth in 2025, a prediction that has resurfaced after the discovery of the interstellar object 3I/ATLAS.

The closest the comet will come is approximately 1.8 astronomical units. This is a vast distance, translating to about 170 million miles (270 million kilometres) away, or nearly twice the distance from the Earth to the Sun.

NASA's analysis of the comet's trajectory confirms that there is no risk of impact with our planet, allowing scientists and sky-watchers to observe its journey with curiosity rather than fear.

 

A Close Encounter: How 3I/ATLAS Will Be Studied

The comet's journey toward the Sun will also be a milestone event in other ways: some human-made spacecraft already in space may cross through its ion tail and gather new data about it. This presents an unexpected scientific opportunity.

Between 25 October and 6 November, missions such as the Hera mission (from the European Space Agency) and Europa Clipper (from NASA) might pass through the comet's trail, analysing its composition from a unique vantage point.

NASA has classified data on a space object over Moscow

NASA has closed access to information about the 2025 US6 object in the base of close approaches to the Earth after a flight of a bolide was spotted over Moscow.

This was reported in the Laboratory of Solar astronomy of the Space Research Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

 

According to experts, on the morning of October 27, information about 2025 US6 was publicly available.

According to calculations, an object about two meters in size was supposed to fly over the Earth on October 28 at a distance of 150 thousand km.

The deletion of data in the Russian Academy of Sciences is associated with the appearance of a bright object of unknown origin over Moscow.

 

The academy noted that under the index 2025 US6 in the NASA catalog could not be an asteroid, but a Chinese satellite DRO-B.

The launch of the device into lunar orbit in 2024 ended in failure, and the satellite was on an unstable trajectory.

According to the information available to astronomers, in March 2025 it was transferred to a retrograde orbit around the Earth — from east to west, which coincides with the direction of movement of the observed car.

 

Earlier, experts from the Russian Academy of Sciences noted that the nature of the flying object is unclear — the estimated speed of movement indicates a version of an asteroid, but fragmentation during a fall and a long visibility time indicates the artificial nature of the object.

If the latter assumption is confirmed, the object may very likely turn out to be a Chinese satellite DRO-B, the RAS said.

NASA and Lockheed Martin successfully connected the Orion spacecraft with the Space Launch System rocket on Oct. 19, advancing preparations for the planned launch of the Artemis II mission in early 2026.

 

How Was the Orion Spacecraft Integrated With the SLS?

Lockheed said Friday the human-rated Orion spacecraft called Integrity was brought to the Kennedy Space Center’s Vehicle Assembly Building, where NASA’s Exploration Ground Systems team installed it on top of the SLS rocket.

“The full stack of Orion on the SLS is a truly spectacular sight. Our teams have been working tirelessly to finalize these last steps and ensure Orion takes the crew to the moon and brings them home safely,” said Robert Lightfoot, president of Lockheed Martin Space and a three-time winner of the Wash100 Award.

 

What Are the Next Steps Before Artemis III Mission Launch?

After the stacking, the teams will complete electrical, data and umbilical hookups between the Orion spacecraft and the Space Launch System.

The combined systems will then be subjected to integrated testing. Once done, the vehicle will be transported to Launch Pad 39B for a wet dress rehearsal in 2026.

 

“Soon, we will be launching four astronauts around the Moon for the first time in over half a century on Artemis II,” said Acting NASA Administrator Sean Duffy.

Glowing meteor trail photobombs Comet Lemmon in incredible telescope footage. 'A pure perspective miracle'

Astronomer Gianluca Masi captured spectacular footage of a glowing meteor trail wrapping around the colossal tail of Comet Lemmon on Oct. 24, as the wandering solar system body approached the constellation Serpens Caput in Earth's sky.

The bright meteor tore through the night shortly before Masi snapped a two-minute exposure of Comet Lemmon with an astrographic camera operated by the Virtual Telescope Project in Manciano, Italy at 1:43 p.m. EDT (1743 GMT) on Oct. 24.

 

Masi's image caught the stream of ionized gas left in the meteor's wake as it rapidly expanded and rose in the upper atmosphere to create a visually spectacular wave effect, which appeared to wrap around Comet Lemmon's tail from our Earthly perspective.

A subtle fan-like pattern can also be seen rippling across the image, created as wayward light struck the camera sensor.

 

"The phenomenon is associated with the ionization of molecular oxygen in the atmosphere caused by the meteor event, followed by its recombination, which produces the emission of light at that wavelength," Masi wrote on the Virtual Telescope Project's website.

Under certain conditions, these glowing trails can appear to form spirals in the upper atmosphere. But despite how intertwined the two appear in the photo, Masi writes, the coiling afterglow of the meteor is actually quite far from the tail of Comet Lemmon.

"In this photograph, the meteor's afterglow appears to coil around the comet's ion tail — a pure perspective miracle, since the former is an atmospheric effect induced by the meteor, while the comet itself was about 100 million kilometers away."

 

Masi also released a spectacular timelapse of the event captured between 1:37 p.m. (17:37 GMT) to 2:12 p.m. (18:12 GMT) on Oct. 24 showing the meteor's ion trail twisting around Comet Lemmon as satellites left streaking trails through the image frames.

Comet Lemmon has brightened dramatically since its discovery in January earlier this year and is currently estimated to have a magnitude of approximately +4.2, according to the Comet Observation database (COBS) run by the Crni Vrh Observatory in Slovenia.

Magnitude is the scale used to measure the apparent brightness of objects in the night sky. The lower the number, the brighter the object.

That means that it's possible to spot the comet as a dim, hazy patch of light under dark sky conditions, though a pair of 10X50 binoculars or a backyard telescope will help resolve its light!

On October 18, 2025, the European Southern Observatory's (ESO) 4MOST (4-meter Multi-Object Spectroscopic Telescope) instrument observed the sky with its full array of 2,400 optical fibers for the first time, successfully capturing and analyzing the light from a vast range of cosmic objects.

 

What is it?

Mounted on ESO's Visible and Infrared Survey Telescope for Astronomy (VISTA), 4MOST is designed to provide spectra for thousands of celestial sources at once, enabling astronomers to study the composition, temperature and motion of stars and galaxies across huge areas of the night sky.

 

Unlike traditional telescopes that observe one or a few objects at a time, 4MOST's engineering allows it to conduct massive, simultaneous surveys, seeing more things at one time.

The instrument's wide hexagonal field of view covers a large portion of the sky in each observation, making it ideal for studying cosmic evolution and dark energy.

 

Where is it?

4MOST and the VISTA telescope are located at the Paranal Observatory in Chile.

 

Why is it amazing?

During its first observations, 4MOST turned its hexagonal gaze toward a region in the southern sky that includes two popular celestial targets: the Sculptor Galaxy (NGC 253) and the global cluster NGC 288.

Each of the colored dots in the image represents a distinct object whose light was captured and analyzed by one of 4MOST's 2,400 fibers.

 

From each target, the instrument collected a spectrum, a detailed fingerprint of light that reveals key physical properties such as chemical composition, temperature, radial velocity and more.

Over the next decade, 4MOST will deliver millions of spectra, helping scientists tackle some of astronomy's biggest questions.

Scientists discover 3 Earth-size exoplanets that may have double sunsets — like Tatooine in Star Wars

Using NASA's planet-hunting spacecraft TESS (Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite), astronomers have discovered three Earth-size worlds orbiting around twin stars.

It has previously been theorized that binary systems are hostile to the formation of complex planetary arrangements, meaning this discovery could change how we think about planet formation and the stability of worlds after formation.

What makes the planets of TOI-2267 even more exciting is they also break some previously held exoplanet records.

 

Furthermore, the binary star nature of this system, located around 190 light-years from Earth, means these exoplanets could experience dual starsets reminiscent of the famous scene in Star Wars: A New Hope in which Luke Skywalker gazes dreamily out at the stars of his homeworld, Tatooine.

"Our analysis shows a unique planetary arrangement: two planets are transiting one star, and the third is transiting its companion star," Sebastián Zúñiga-Fernánde, study team member and a researcher at the University of Liège (ULiège), said in a statement.

"This makes TOI-2267 the first binary system known to host transiting planets around both of its stars."

 

Record breakers!

Binary star systems come in a range of shapes, sizes and arrangements. TOI-2267 is a "compact binary." This means the stars that comprise this system orbit each other in close proximity.

This closeness causes gravitational instability that existing planetary formation models have suggested should result in an environment unsuitable for planet formation.

 

Yet, planets have formed in TOI-2267.

"Our discovery breaks several records, as it is the most compact and coldest pair of stars with planets known, and it is also the first in which planets have been recorded transiting around both components," Francisco J. Pozuelos, study team co-leader and a researcher at the Instituto de Astrofísica de Andalucía (IAA-CSIC), said in a statement.

Pozuelos and colleagues got their first hints about these three distant Earth-like worlds when they examined data from TESS using their detection software, SHERLOCK.

 

This early indication of planets in the TOI-2267 system prompted the team to get ready for more observations with several other observatories.

This included SPECULOOS, a network of robotic telescopes comprised of SPECULOOS Southern Observatory at the Paranal Observatory in Chile and SPECULOOS Northern Observatory at the Teide Observatory in Tenerife, and a pair of telescopes in Belgium called TRAPPIST (Transiting Planets and Planetesimals Small Telescope).

 

These facilities are specially adapted to investigate small exoplanets around cool and faint stars, meaning they were vital in allowing the team to characterize TOI-2267, and thus, discovering its surprising nature.

"This system is a true natural laboratory for understanding how rocky planets can emerge and survive under extreme dynamical conditions, where we previously thought their stability would be compromised," Pozuelos said.

 

The queries raised regarding planet formation by this system could be an investigation that is right in the wheelhouse of the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) as well as the next generation of ground-based observatories.

These instruments should allow astronomers to precisely measure the masses, densities and possibly even the atmospheric chemistry of the newly discovered planets of TOI-2267.

 

"Discovering three Earth-sized planets in such a compact binary system is a unique opportunity," Zúñiga-Fernández concluded.

"It allows us to test the limits of planet formation models in complex environments and to better understand the diversity of possible planetary architectures in our galaxy."

A pair of cosmonauts will work outside the International Space Station today (Oct. 28), and you can watch the off-Earth action live.

Sergey Ryzhikov and Alexey Zubritskiy, of the Russian space agency Roscosmos, will conduct a roughly six-hour spacewalk today, starting at around 10:20 a.m. EDT (1420 GMT).

 

You can watch it live here at Space.com, courtesy of NASA, or directly via the agency. Coverage will begin at 9:45 a.m. EDT (1345 GMT).

The duo "will install experiment hardware on the Nauka Multipurpose Laboratory Module, and relocate a control panel for the European robotic arm attached to Nauka," NASA News Chief Cheryl Warner wrote in an emailed statement on Monday (Oct. 27).

 

Most of NASA's activities are on hold due to the ongoing government shutdown, but the agency will stream today's spacewalk "and provide minimal technical commentary as this activity relates to excepted mission operations," Warner wrote.

This will be the second spacewalk in less than two weeks for Ryzhikov, who commands the International Space Station's current Expedition 73, and flight engineer Zubritsky.

The duo also performed an extravehicular activity on Oct. 16, installing a semiconductor experiment on the orbiting lab and jettisoning an old HDTV camera.

 

Today's spacewalk will be the third for Ryzhikov, who will wear a spacesuit with red stripes, and the second for for Zubritsky, whose suit will have blue stripes, according to Warner.

It will be the 277th overall spacewalk in the history of the ISS, which has hosted rotating astronaut crews continuously since Nov. 2, 2000.
