Joby and Air Space Intelligence Partner to Prepare U.S. Airspace for Scaled Electric Flight

Joby Aviation, Inc. (NYSE: JOBY), a company developing all-electric aircraft for commercial passenger service, and Air Space Intelligence (ASI), a leading U.S.-based aerospace and defense software company, today announced a partnership to accelerate the integration of advanced air mobility (AAM) into the U.S. National Airspace System.

Building on ASI’s Flyways AI Platform – an open AI-powered airspace intelligence platform that uses high-fidelity 4D modeling to optimize flight operations – Joby and ASI plan to work together to advance how scaled eVTOL operations can be safely integrated into dynamic, increasingly complex and high-traffic airspace. Joint demonstrations, including live operational exercises, are expected later this year.

 

With the FAA’s Brand New Air Traffic Control System (BNATCS) set to form the foundation for the next generation of air traffic management, the partnership will also explore how more automated, software-defined approaches to airspace coordination can enable increasingly autonomous flight operations.

Initial results from the partnership's live operational exercises are expected by the end of 2026.

 

Last month, Joby completed a series of piloted demonstration flights across the San Francisco Bay Area, showcasing the company's operational readiness.

Joby was also recently selected as a partner in multiple winning applications under the White House-backed eVTOL Integration Pilot Program (eIPP).

Through the program, Joby has the opportunity to begin early operations this year in 12 states, marking a major milestone for the U.S. air taxi industry and potentially accelerating Joby's path to commercial service.

Planet Successfully Runs AI in Space

SAN FRANCISCO(BUSINESS WIRE)Following the announcement of a strategic initiative with NVIDIA, Planet Labs PBC (NYSE: PL) announced a landmark technical achievement:

the successful deployment and execution of AI-driven object detection directly onboard its Pelican-4 satellite, paving the way toward on-orbit compute for rapid insights, a capability Planet calls Planetary Intelligence.

 

On March 25th, 500km over Alice Springs, Australia, Planet’s Pelican-4 captured an image of an airport, then successfully utilized its onboard NVIDIA Jetson Orin module to run an AI model to detect airplanes in moments.

This represents one of the first times an Earth imaging satellite has moved beyond simple data capture to onboard AI inference and analysis.

The end-to-end process, spanning initial data generation, deep-net object detection, and full geo-rectification, is designed to occur entirely in orbit.

By producing GeoTIFF and GeoJSON insights within isolated Docker containers in space, Planet is striving to be able to generate intelligence about events in minutes.

ESA’s newest deep space antenna – DSA 4, also known as New Norcia 3 or NNO-3 – officially entered nominal operations on 1 April 2026.

The 35 m dish, located at the New Norcia site in Western Australia, is ESA’s third deep space antenna in the southern hemisphere and the second at the New Norcia site.

This new addition represents a major leap forward in ESA’s ability to stay connected with spacecraft venturing into increasingly distant regions of deep space.

 

DSA 4 features the ability to downlink in X‑, K- and Ka‑band and uplink in X-band as well as K-band in the future. It is also equipped with cutting‑edge technologies, including cryogenically cooled receivers operating at −263°C.

By cooling the link between the physical antenna and the receiver to near absolute zero, background interference, or “noise,” can be dramatically reduced, improving the antenna’s ability to detect signals weaker than a whisper from billions of kilometres away.

 

DSA 4 is also equipped with a 20 kW radio transmitter, which is comparable to the power a small car uses while accelerating onto a motorway.

Radio waves weaken as they travel – much like ripples spreading out on a pond – so signals sent to distant spacecraft often become extremely faint.

Thanks to its powerful transmitter, DSA 4 can send commands that remain strong and easy for spacecraft to detect even from across the Solar System.

DSA 4 is the newest member of ESA’s Estrack network, a global system of ground stations that link satellites in orbit with the European Space Operations Centre (ESOC), ESA’s mission control hub.

 

Expanding ESA’s global Estrack network

ESA ground stations provide the communication lifeline to missions across the Solar System: essential telemetry, tracking and command (TT&C) services that keep spacecraft safely connected to Earth.

They receive telemetry, the continuous stream of health, status and scientific data sent down by a spacecraft; perform tracking by precisely measuring a spacecraft’s distance, velocity and position using radio signals; and transmit commands that control onboard systems, adjust trajectories, or update mission configurations.

 

With DSA 4, the network now includes four 35 m deep space antennas and three near‑Earth stations as part of its core infrastructure. DSA 4 complements Estrack’s existing 35 m dishes in:

New Norcia, Australia (DSA 1)

Cebreros, Spain (DSA 2)

The other three ground stations in Estrack’s core network are used for tracking satellites or launchers near Earth and feature 4.5 or 15 m dish antennas in Kourou (French Guiana), Santa Maria (Portugal) and Kiruna (Sweden).

Bringing DSA 4 online: testing, calibration and first signals

Combined end‑to‑end testing was the first step to confirm that signals could pass through every component of the station. During this phase, engineers checked the performance of the antenna’s mechanics, radio frequency stages, frequency and timing equipment, power systems and back-end modems.

Once the technical checks were complete, engineering teams prepared the station for real operations. They refined the control software and configured the ground system to work seamlessly with the new antenna as well as integrated DSA‑4 into ESA’s scheduling and network‑control workflows together with the NOC.

 

In the final phase, teams tracked multiple ESA deep space spacecraft to ensure each could communicate with the new antenna.

With commissioning complete, responsibility formally shifted from engineering to operations. ESA’s newest deep space antenna is now operated remotely from ESOC as part of Estrack’s 24/7 global network.

“This is an exciting moment,” says Harald Ernst, one of ESA’s New Norcia station engineers who has been working with DSA 4 teams since before commissioning began. “After so much testing, experiencing the moments when the antenna finally goes online is very rewarding.”

Euclid was the first ESA spacecraft to be tracked on 1 April after DSA 4 entered nominal operations, marking the moment the antenna came alive as a working part of ESA’s deep space network.

 

New capabilities with two deep space antennas in New Norcia

Bringing a second deep‑space antenna online at the Australian site boosts ESA’s global coverage, providing greater availability and built‑in redundancy.

This expanded capacity enhances support for ongoing deep space science and astronomy missions. Together, the two antennas can operate in combination to emulate a virtual giant dish, allowing them to capture faint signals from spacecraft far across the Solar System.

DSA 4 also brings next-generation X‑band transmission features that expand the link configurations possible from New Norcia, providing capabilities and operational flexibility that are unique within the Estrack network.

 

Looking ahead: deep space antenna 5

As humanity pushes deeper into the Solar System, missions will demand stronger links, higher data rates and extreme reliability back on Earth.

While DSA 4 begins operations, preparations are already underway for DSA 5, ESA’s next 35 m deep space antenna. ESA member states approved funding for the project at the November 2025 Ministerial Council.

With DSA 4 online and DSA 5 in the works, Estrack is continuing its evolution as the communication backbone that will support the next generation of space exploration for decades to come.

This growing capability will provide the enhanced coverage, redundancy and technical readiness required to support ESA’s expanding presence across the Solar System and deepen Europe’s role in global space science.

A huge fireball and towering columns of black smoke erupted beside the Bridge of the Americas in Panama on Monday, with dramatic videos on social media showing flames tearing through the fuel terminal next to the landmark crossing.

The blast, reported in La Boca, Balboa, was caused by a tanker truck explosion and forced the immediate shutdown of traffic on the bridge, one of the country’s most important transport links.

While the explosion did not occur directly on the bridge, flames billowing beneath the crossing fueled concern over its structural integrity.

 

Panama’s fire service said the emergency was first reported at around 4:12 PM local time and that crews arriving at the scene found multiple trucks ablaze, along with additional tanks under threat.

Reinforcements from several stations were called in as firefighters battled to stop the flames from spreading further.

 

Officials said two people with second-degree burns were rescued during the operation and treated by firefighters. Fire crews were also searching for a possible trapped person while carrying out cooling operations.

Kanye West blocked from entering Britain to headline music festival after backlash over antisemitic comments

 

The three-day Wireless Festival was canceled after authorities withdrew Ye’s electronic travel authorization, organizers Festival Republic said.

 

LONDON — Ye has been blocked from entering Britain to headline a summer music festival after backlash over his antisemitic social media statements and songs, the event's organizers said Tuesday.

 

Government authorities have withdrawn Ye’s electronic travel authorization, the organizers of Festival Republic, a division of Live Nation, said in a statement, and, "as a result," the three-day Wireless Festival has been canceled.

 

The development comes hours after the rapper, formerly known as Kanye West, responded for the first time to the mounting controversy and offered to meet members of the Jewish community in Britain. Pressure had built for the U.K. government to ban Ye from the country after the festival rejected calls from politicians and community leaders to drop him as headliner.

 

Tuesday's statement by Festival Republic read: “The Home Office has withdrawn YE’s ETA, denying him entry into the United Kingdom. As a result, Wireless Festival is cancelled and refunds will be issued to all ticket holders.”

 

The statement also said that “multiple stakeholders were consulted in advance of booking YE and no concerns were highlighted at the time.” It added that “antisemitism in all its forms is abhorrent, and we recognize the real and personal impact these issues have had.”

 

The BBC also reported that Ye had been banned from entering the country. The U.K. Home Office did not immediately respond to a request for comment from NBC News.

 

A British government source told NBC News on Monday that ministers were reviewing whether to let Ye into the country, and at least four corporate sponsors of the Wireless festival, including Pepsi, distanced themselves from the event.

 

The decision is one of the most meaningful results of the rapper’s descent into racist sloganeering, which saw him release a song titled “Heil Hitler.”

 

Ye issued a statement earlier Tuesday in which he said:

 

"I've been following the conversation around Wireless and I want to address it directly. My only goal is to come to London and present a show of change, bringing unity, peace, and love through my music."

 

He continued: "I would be grateful for the opportunity to meet with members of the Jewish community in the U.K. in person, to listen."

 

"I know words aren’t enough — I’ve have to show change through my actions," he said."

 

"If you’re open, I’m here. With Love."

 

Ye previously offered T-shirts for sale featuring a swastika symbol and declared "I'm a Nazi" on social media.

 

He publicly apologized for those comments earlier this year in a full-page Wall Street Journal advertisement, citing an undiagnosed brain injury and mental health issues.

 

On Monday, Festival Republic managing director Melvin Benn said in a lengthy statement that Ye had been invited to perform songs that are already being heard by millions on the radio and streaming services and that he should be offered "forgiveness."

 

The Board of Deputies of British Jews said in response to Ye's statement that "the Jewish community will want to see a genuine remorse and change before believing that the appropriate place to test this sincerity is on the main stage at Wireless Festival."

 

Phil Rosenberg, the board's president, said the group would meet with Ye only after he has agreed not to play the festival.

 

Wes Streeting, the British health secretary and an influential voice in the ruling Labour Party, told Sky News on Tuesday that Ye’s set should be canceled.

 

“What I would say is that Kanye West has no business headlining the Wireless Festival. I think organizers showed a terrible error of judgement in inviting him,” he said.

 

Prime Minister Keir Starmer previously criticized the decision to have Ye headline the festival.

Ukrainian drone strike kills 12-year-old boy and parents in Russian region

A twelve-year-old boy and his parents have been killed in an overnight Ukrainian drone attack in Russia’s Vladimir Region, according to Governor Aleksandr Avdeev. The family’s five-year-old daughter survived with burns.

Emergency crews extinguished a fire that broke out after the family’s home was struck in the attack. Residents in a neighboring apartment of the two-apartment block in the Aleksandrovsky municipal district were unharmed.

The boy killed in the strike had celebrated his birthday just the day before, Anna Kuznetsova, head of the district, said.

 

Moscow has accused Kiev of attacking civilians because it cannot halt Russian advances on the battlefield.

Also on Tuesday, Zaporozhye Governor Evgeny Balitsky reported that a Ukrainian drone had struck a school in the village of Velikaya Znamenka, injuring five children and one adult.

The Russian Defense Ministry has said 45 Ukrainian drones were intercepted overnight over several regions. UAVs were shot down over the Leningrad, Voronezh, Belgorod, Vladimir, Bryansk, Volgograd, Penza, and Krasnodar regions, as well as over the Black Sea.

 

Leningrad Region was among the hardest-hit, with military forces continuing to repel a massive wave of Ukrainian drones.

Governor Aleksandr Drozdenko said that, as of the latest update, 22 UAVs had been shot down. St. Petersburg’s Pulkovo Airport was also forced to introduce temporary flight restrictions due to the drone incursions.

In recent months, Kiev has intensified strikes on Russia’s regions, including civilian and oil infrastructure, in an effort to disrupt the country’s ability to export crude.

 

Ukrainian officials deny deliberately targeting civilians, claiming that their goal is to inflict economic damage to pressure Russia to abandon its objectives in the four-year Ukraine conflict.

Moscow has accused Kiev of resorting to terrorist tactics and inflicting damage on third parties not involved in the conflict between the two nations.

The Kremlin has also noted that US-mediated talks with Ukraine have been placed on hold due to the US-Israeli war on Iran.

The first claim surfaced on March 9 via Telegram channels tied to Iraqi pro-Iranian militias. Two days later, HAYI took credit for firebombing a synagogue in Liège, Belgium. Subsequent claims included attacks on a Rotterdam synagogue (March 13), a Jewish school in Amsterdam (March 14), a site linked to Bank of New York Mellon in Amsterdam (March 16), Hatzola Jewish ambulances in London’s Golders Green (March 23), and a foiled plot outside Bank of America in Paris (March 28). An attempted synagogue strike in Heemstede, Netherlands, was also stopped on March 20. Some other claims, including an alleged Greece attack – appear to be outright disinformation.

 

European police have rounded up suspects aged 14-23. In the Netherlands, at least 10 arrests. France charged four, including minors. In the UK, three young men (two Brits aged 19–20 and a 17-year-old dual national) were charged with the London ambulance arson, with a fourth arrest.

 

Orthodox Jewish communities in London and elsewhere have their own ambulances operated by Hatzola (also spelled Hatzolah or Hatzalah), a private volunteer-run, community-funded emergency medical service.

 

French prosecutors revealed one teen claimed he was recruited on Snapchat, offered €500–€1,000, and initially told the “bomb” was revenge on a cheating girlfriend – before being instructed to film it for the cause. Many suspects were released on bail.

 

The “group” that wasn’t there yesterday

 

Researchers at the International Centre for Counter-Terrorism (ICCT) note HAYI had “no known references, neither online nor offline” before March 9. Its statements contain linguistic quirks, misspellings, and inconsistencies. Claims were amplified almost immediately by channels linked to IRGC-aligned militias—yet the operation relies on disposable online recruits for pocket-change jobs. Julian Lanchès at ICCT called it unusual and suggested an Iranian intelligence project for deniability.

 

Doubts regarding the authenticity of HAYI are, however, not only raised by the appearance of its Telegram channel and the likely falsely claimed attack in Greece, but also by inconsistencies within the claim material itself. For example, the videos contain noticeable linguistic errors. Further, the Arabic inscription beneath the group’s logo, which closely resembles the flag of Hezbollah and other pro-Axis groups, except for featuring a Soviet SVD sniper rifle instead of the more typical AK-style imagery, includes multiple mistakes, including the misspelling of the word “Islamic.”

 

Skeptics aren’t buying it. The Grayzone’s Wyatt Reed highlighted glaring questions: Why aren’t these “Iranian” operatives hitting targets in countries most aggressively involved in the war on Iran? Why the focus on symbolic Jewish and U.S. bank sites with minimal actual damage and zero casualties? Why do some communiqués contain phrasing that reads like it was generated with odd Israeli terminology quirks (e.g., references to “the Land of Israel”)? And why were multiple suspects quickly released on bail while the “terror campaign” narrative rolls on?

 

MintPress News investigative piece by David Miller goes further, arguing HAYI looks like a fabricated “fake Iranian terror group“ invented precisely to accelerate efforts to proscribe the IRGC as a terrorist organization across Europe – long a goal of pro-Israel lobbying networks amid the Iran war.

 

Cui bono? The timing is impeccable

 

The wave of attacks kicked off right as U.S.-Israeli strikes on Iran intensified in late February 2026. Jewish communities were already on edge from post-October 7, 2023, tensions. UK groups like the Community Security Trust linked the London incident to rising antisemitism. Dutch officials openly probed “Iranian involvement.” U.S. banks in Paris told staff to work from home. All of it feeds a story that Iran is exporting chaos.

Though public opposition to ICE succeeded at forcing the administration to back down in Minnesota — even firing both Kristi Noem and Gregory Bovino — the FBI is doubling down its domestic terrorism obsession.

 

Now, Trump’s budget request reveals, the FBI runs a dedicated “NSPM-7 Joint Mission Center”; with personnel from 10 federal agencies, it is busy “proactively” identifying domestic terrorists motivated by any of the following beliefs:

 

“anti-Americanism,”

“anti-capitalism,”

“anti-Christianity,”

“support for the overthrow of the U.S. Government,”

“extremism on migration,”

extremism on “race,”

extremism on “gender,”

“Hostility towards those who hold traditional American views on family,”

Hostility towards those who hold traditional American views on “religion,” and

Hostility towards those who hold traditional views on “morality.”

 

In other words, if your political views are practically anything other than MAGA, you’re on notice, courtesy of the FBI.

 

The new center combats these supposed threats “by integrating intelligence, operational support, and financial analysis,” the budget request says.

 

Its creation appears to be inspired by the murder of conservative commentator Charlie Kirk — an event that reportedly precipitated the formulation of NSPM-7 in the first place — according to the budget request, which alludes to “heinous assassinations” having “dramatically increased.”

 

The budget request also singles out social media as some kind of breeding ground for domestic terrorism, saying:

 

“Domestic terrorists exploit a variety of popular social media platforms, smaller websites with targeted audiences, and encrypted chat applications. They use these platforms to recruit new adherents, plan and rally support for in-person actions, and disseminate materials encouraging radicalization and mobilization to violence.”

French central bank nets €13bn by pulling gold out of US reserves

France’s central bank has sold off the last of the gold it held in the United States Federal Reserve and replaced it with higher quality bars in Paris, taking advantage of rising prices to make nearly €13 billion as it upgrades its holdings.

 

The Banque de France (BdF) announced last week that it generated a capital gain of €12.8 billion after upgrading 129 tonnes of gold – about 5 percent of France’s total reserves – between July 2025 and January 2026.

 

The gold was the last of the French reserves held in New York. It was replaced with the equivalent amount bought in Europe and held in Paris.

 

The BdF has been gradually replacing older, non‑standard gold with bars that meet ​modern international standards since 2005. It moved the majority of its gold reserves out of the US Federal Reserve and the Bank of England between 1963 and 1966.

 

Rather than refining and transporting the gold that remained in the US, the bank opted to sell it and purchase new, compliant bullion on the European market.

According to Iranian media, heavy damage was caused to the Rafi Niya synagogue.

 

In response to a query by The Times of Israel, the IDF said that it struck a top commander from Khatam al-Anbiya, Iran’s military emergency command.

 

“Reports were received that a nearby synagogue was also damaged in the strike. The IDF regrets the collateral damage to the synagogue and emphasizes that the strike was directed at a senior military target within the regime’s armed forces,” the IDF said.

 

The army insisted that it took steps to “minimize the risk of harm to civilians” in the strike, “including the use of precise munitions and aerial surveillance.”

On 30 March 2025, Europol supported an action day against criminal networks smuggling migrants from Vietnam to the European Union and the United Kingdom. Law enforcement authorities across Europe have intensified their efforts to disrupt migrant smuggling networks as part of a coordinated whole-route approach addressing every stage of the criminal business model.

 

Supported by Europol, recent operational activities have increased their focus on dismantling the full scale of connected international networks that profit from vulnerable migrants through dangerous journeys, debt bondage, and often, subsequent exploitation. These networks operate across continents, linking facilitators in countries of origin, transit hubs, and destination countries, while generating significant illicit profits.

 

Smuggled with lorries via the English Channel

A joint operation involving law enforcement authorities from Belgium, France, and the United Kingdom, supported by Europol and Eurojust, led to the dismantling of a Vietnamese criminal network smuggling migrants across the English Channel. The smugglers transported the migrants to the UK using lorries departing from ports in northern France and, to a lesser extent, small boats. During the action day, authorities targeted the network at multiple levels, arresting suspects responsible for accommodation, transportation, and financial coordination. North Korea Rejects South's 'Friendly' Drone Regret as Warning

President Lee Jae Myung’s expression of regret regarding the “unmanned aerial vehicle incident with North Korea” drew a response from Kim Yo-jong, a vice departmental director of the Workers’ Party of Korea Central Committee, who issued a statement on the 6th emphasizing that the focus was a “clear warning” rather than a “friendly response.”

This came after the South Korean government assessed Kim Yo-jong’s statement as a “meaningful step forward,” which North Korea dismissed while reaffirming South Korea as the “most hostile adversarial state.”

 

Jang Kum-chol, First Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director of the 10th Bureau in charge of inter-Korean relations, stated in a statement released via Korean Central News Agency on the 7th:

“If the South Korean side interprets our government’s swift response as an ‘unprecedented friendly reaction’ or ‘rapid mutual confirmation of intent between leaders’ and spouts nonsense like that, it will be recorded as the ‘hopeful delusions of foolish fools’ that astonish the public.”

 

Jang Kum-chol clarified that the core of Kim Yo-jong’s previous statement was a “clear warning.” This was a rebuttal to interpretations that Kim Yo-jong’s evaluation of President Lee’s expression of regret as “very fortunate and a wise move for oneself” signaled conciliation.

Jang Kum-chol argued that Kim Yo-jong’s statement should be understood as: “If you want to live safely, you must also know how to honestly admit your crimes”; “It won’t be fun if you keep provoking us”; and “Do not bother us if you want to live comfortably.”

He also revealed that Kim Yo-jong had described South Korea as “miserable dogs barking along with neighborhood dogs.”

 

Jang Kum-chol added, “The identity of South Korea, the most hostile adversarial state, cannot change under any circumstances, regardless of what words or actions its authorities use.”

The day before, when President Lee expressed regret over the unmanned aerial vehicle incident during a Cabinet meeting, Kim Yo-jong issued a statement within about 10 hours stating, “Our leader (North Korean leader Kim Jong-un) praised this as ‘demonstrating the attitude of a frank and bold person.’”

The Ministry of Unification assessed Kim Yo-jong’s statement as a “meaningful step forward toward peaceful coexistence on the Korean Peninsula.” However, North Korea issued a rebuttal through Jang Kum-chol’s statement less than a day later, directly refuting this interpretation.

General Atomics Drone Prototype Crashes in California

Flight tests are grounded and an investigation is underway.

On Monday, at approximately 1 p.m. PT, an experimental test drone crashed in the California desert. In a statement, General Atomics said the platform experienced a "mishap" after takeoff from a company-owned airport.

The drone was a YFQ-42A Collaborative Combat Aircraft (CCA). The CCA is a new type of autonomous, uncrewed drone designed to fly alongside manned U.S. fighter jets, like F-35s, to provide the U.S. Air Force with surveillance and strike capabilities.

No one was injured in the incident, but the defense contractor says flight tests have been temporarily paused in an abundance of caution.

General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, the subsidiary responsible for designing and manufacturing military drones and radar systems, is assessing the aircraft's condition and investigating to determine the incident’s root cause.

The company said it is too early to speculate on the circumstances surrounding the accident.

 

"As with any program, we follow a disciplined investigation process to understand exactly what occurred, and our focus right now is on gathering data and ensuring we learn from this event," the company said.

The aircraft was one of several production-representative YFQ-42A CCA test aircraft currently in the technical maturation and risk reduction phase of the program for the U.S. Air Force.

 

General Atomics said the jets regularly fly at company-owned facilities as part of their operational test and evaluation program. Flight operations will resume when deemed appropriate.

“Safety is our top priority, for our people and the public. In this case, established procedures and safeguards worked as intended, and there were no injuries,” said C. Mark Brinkley, a company spokesman.

“We’re going to take a close look at what happened, gather all the data, and allow the investigation to guide us moving forward.”

 

In April 2024, the U.S. Air Force picked General Atomics and Anduril to lead the CCA program. The news came as a shock to the industry that saw stalwarts like Boeing and Lockheed left in the lurch.

In 2023, Anduril purchased Blue Force Technologies, a company that had developed a large unmanned aircraft system called "Fury." In January 2025, the company announced plans to make the Anduril Fury (YFQ-44A) at a massive new factory in Columbus, Ohio.

The Fury completed its first test flight in California on October 31. Production of military drones and autonomous air vehicles is scheduled to begin in Ohio in July 2026.

A California family cruising down the highway could not believe their eyes when they spotted a curious cluster of UFOs that appeared and subsequently vanished from the night sky.

The wondrous moment, filmed by one of the witnesses and subsequently shared with the National UFO Reporting Center, occurred shortly before midnight on April 3rd near the community of Winterhaven.

In the amusing footage from the family, featured above, the mother can be heard marveling to her adult children that they are witnessing a "freakin' UFO" comprised of four lights that are seemingly flying in formation.

 

The family's amazement at what they were seeing was compounded when the peculiar cluster of UFOs slowly began vanishing from the night sky, going from four orbs to none.

"It's leaving," exclaims the mom as the final illumination disappears, musing, "you guys, this is crazy to me." As for what the odd lights could have been, setting aside the proverbial extraterrestrial hypothesis, many viewers online have suggested that the family probably spotted some flares likely being deployed as part of some kind of military exercise.

International baby trafficking syndicate charged in Indonesia

 

Indonesian police have charged 19 people over an international baby trafficking syndicate which allegedly sold babies, some as young as three months, to people in Singapore and across Indonesia.

 

A man and 18 women were charged with human trafficking during an appearance at the Bandung district court in West Java province on Tuesday.

 

They are accused of buying babies from new parents in Indonesia and selling them at a profit.

 

Police allege the syndicate started operating in 2023 and had sent at least 14 babies to Singapore.

 

According to authorities, other young children had been sold domestically, including to adoptive parents in Jakarta.

 

Police managed to rescue several infants held by the syndicate before they were sold.

 

The defendants, including accused ringleader Lie Siu Luan, were arrested last year after a parent reported an alleged baby kidnapping to police in West Java.

 

Police claim the person who reported the kidnapping had actually entered into an agreement with the syndicate but never got paid.

 

Investigators tracked down a suspect who allegedly confessed to having traded more than 24 infants, some as young as three months old.

 

The defendants allegedly played various roles, including finding the babies, caring for them and preparing identity documents and passports.

 

One of the women later told prosecutors she had procured 34 children for the group.

Following several more high-profile disappearances—including a senior aerospace engineer and a retired Air Force General, Representative Eric Burlison (R-Mo.) is demanding a federal investigation.

 

Citing the “deeply concerning” ties these individuals share with advanced research, Burlison revealed that he has asked for the involvement of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to determine if these incidents are connected or represent a targeted threat to national security.

“The disappearance of multiple scientists and military personnel with ties to advanced research is deeply concerning. I’ve already requested FBI involvement, and we will keep pressing for answers,” Burlison said Monday on X.

 

Most recently, William Neil McCasland, a retired Air Force general, went missing in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on February 27th. He previously held a senior leadership role in the U.S. Air Force, overseeing technology and space research.

However, McCasland’s wife, Susan McCasland Wilkerson, said in a Facebook post on March 12th that she did not believe her husband’s disappearance was related to the classified information he had access to.

 

“It is true that when Neil was in the Air Force, he had access to some highly classified programs and information.

He retired from the AF almost 13 years ago and has had only very commonly held clearances since. It seems quite unlikely that he was taken to extract very dated secrets from him,” she wrote.

 

His disappearance has drawn significant attention to the case of Monica Reza, who vanished just months earlier while hiking. Notably, Reza had worked on a government-funded rocket materials project that had been overseen by McCasland.

“It’s remarkable that General McCasland apparently walked out of his home, left all of his devices and never came back,” Burlison told Fox News. “And Monica Reza, she was on a hike as well and mysteriously disappeared. And I’ve heard of others.”

 

When asked if authorities believe something nefarious may have happened on the disappearance of McCasland, Lieutenant Kyle Woods of the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office stated, “We haven’t ruled anything out, but we have nothing pointing to it either.”
