In 2009, Montagnier published two controversial independent research studies, one of which was entitled "Electromagnetic Signals Are Produced by Aqueous Nanostructures Derived from Bacterial DNA Sequences". Jeff Reimers, of the University of Sydney, said that if its conclusions are true, "these would be the most significant experiments performed in the past 90 years, demanding re-evaluation of the whole conceptual framework of modern chemistry". The paper concluded that diluted DNA from pathogenic bacterial and viral species was able to emit "specific radio waves" and that "these radio waves [are] associated with 'nanostructures' in the solution that might be able to recreate the pathogen".

 

They were published in a new journal, of which he was chair of the editorial board, allegedly detecting electromagnetic signals from bacterial DNA (M. pirum and E. coli) in water that had been prepared using agitation and high dilutions, and similar research on electromagnetic detection of HIV RNA in the blood of AIDS patients treated by antiretroviral therapy.

Here’s my take on Q…

I believe it is a major psyop and from what I can tell, it or they or whatever or whoever is “running this op” has done a major disservice.

What I see are a bunch of people sitting and waiting for something to happen instead of doing what I have been calling for now for quite some time (LOCAL ACTION).

The nonsense about trump is still the president and the military is coming to the rescue is just that…nonsense.

I wasn’t belittling Dave (he’s a big boy), I was being brutally honest (like it or not or believe it or not).

Rome is burning Nero and the bucket brigade is getting low on water.

And like it or not (I don’t), we have a person in the WH that is there following a constitutional process…note I didn’t say fair election (which I don’t believe occurred).

Lastly, I so respect your smart statement and most definitely appreciate your support as well as Dave’s (I’m a big fan of X22).

I also appreciate the support by many of the digital soldiers who did and do support me.

LA Mayor Karen Bass slammed for ‘despicable’ attack on Palisades Fire victim Spencer Pratt

 

Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass sparked outrage after accusing Palisades Fire victim Spencer Pratt of “exploiting the grief” of wildfire victims in his campaign to unseat her.

 

Bass, who has been losing ground to Pratt in the lead-up to the mayoral election, made the extraordinary claim during an interview with MeidasTouch.

 

“Well, honestly, before this, I had never heard of Spencer Pratt,” she said of the former reality TV star.

 

“But the thing I am concerned about is that I feel like he’s exploiting the grief of people in the Palisades. And I think that’s reprehensible. He is about his own celebrity.”

 

Critics immediately seized on the mayor’s comments, calling her out for attacking a wildfire victim.

 

“Exploiting grief? HE LOST EVERYTHING ALONG WITH FAMILY,” one commenter wrote on X.

Half of all convenience stores and vape retailers 'are linked to criminal gangs': Map reveals UK's 'corridors of crime' where highest number of shops act as fronts for illegal activity

 

Up to half of convenience stores and vape retailers in some areas of Britain are believed to have links with organised crime, Trading Standards revealed today.

 

Inspectors estimate that a third of American candy stores and one in four fast food takeaways in specific areas are suspected of being a front for criminal activity.

 

A hotspot map in the group's Hidden In Plain Sight report found where organised crime on the high street is widespread and identified two 'corridors of crime'.

 

One stretches from Liverpool on the west coast to Hull and Grimsby on the east coast; and the other covers south coast towns across Dorset, Hampshire and Sussex.

 

Testimony shared with BBC News found one female officer was threatened with rape, while another was forced to watch pornography and a third was 'poked in the breast'.

 

A third officer told how a suspect in a shop shouted 'I kill you, I kill you', while others recounted finding weapons in shops such as axes, bats, blades and hammers.

 

There were also attacks to officers' cars and property as trackers were put on their vehicles and they were apparently followed at work.

 

One officer said a Kurdish crime gang selling illegal cigarettes and nitrous oxide canisters across the UK threatened to kill her and burn her house down.

 

Trading Standards has published a map of high streets across the UK for so-called dodgy shops, along with the ten towns and cities perceived by its officers to be hot spots for OCGs, with Birmingham, Liverpool and London filling the top three spots.

 

It said the budgets of Local Authority Trading Standards (LATS) services had been cut by up to 50 per cent over the last decade, with staffing stripped to minimum levels.

 

Trading Standards warned that this – coupled with resource 'challenges' for other key enforcement agencies including police – had coincided with the rapid spread of dodgy shops across the UK, as well as complex criminal networks that underpinned them.

 

Dodgy shops had a 'profound impact' on the safety of the public and the viability of the legitimate businesses around them, while putting the health of consumers, including children, at risk.

 

These shops often brought with them associated criminality including anti-social behaviour, theft and violent crime, drug supply, modern slavery, and child sexual exploitation.

Robert Prevost’s last act on social media before he became pope was a retweet.

Cardinal Prevost saw the post — a Rocco Palmo dispatch citing the words of Washington Auxiliary Bishop Evelio Menjivar — and reposted it to his Twitter following.

 

“Do you not see the suffering?” Menjivar had asked in the Catholic Standard. “Is your conscience not disturbed? How can you stay quiet?”

 

Three weeks later, Prevost was Pope Leo XIV. The retweet quietly disappeared from his feed, but the conviction that put it there did not.

 

On Friday, the pope named Menjivar the lone Catholic bishop of West Virginia — a state that is more than 90 percent white and that voted for Donald Trump by 42 points. The man Prevost had endorsed in his final unguarded act online now leads the only diocese in a state where MAGA sentiment runs deep.

 

Menjivar is the first United States bishop born in El Salvador. He came here without papers.

 

As a teenager in Chalatenango, he tried to cross the southern border three times before he succeeded in 1990 — smuggled with his brother in the trunk of a car at the Tijuana–San Diego crossing.

 

Once in California, he worked construction, janitorial jobs, and as a parish receptionist while learning English at night and earning a high school equivalency. By 2004, he had finished seminary at the Pontifical North American College in Rome and been ordained a priest of the Archdiocese of Washington. Pope Francis named him a bishop in 2023.

 

His story is the one Donald Trump’s administration would deport — and, today, the first U.S.-born pope has named him a successor of the Apostles.

 

Menjivar’s appointment came alongside three others. Pope Leo named Father John Gomez, a Colombian-born priest, as the new bishop of Laredo, the border diocese in south Texas.

 

To the Archdiocese of Washington, he sent two new auxiliaries: Father Gary Studniewski, a Toledo-born former U.S. Army captain who served eighteen years as a military chaplain and now pastors the Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament in northwest Washington, and Father Robert Boxie III, a 45-year-old Black priest who serves as Catholic chaplain at Howard University and becomes the youngest sitting bishop in the United States.

 

I have experienced both of Washington’s new auxiliary bishops in recent years. Father Studniewski and Father Boxie are kind-hearted, generous priests — the kind of pastors any local Church would be fortunate to have.

 

Boxie, a Vanderbilt-educated chemical engineer who graduated from Harvard Law before he entered seminary, has challenged the White House’s race-baiting campaign against diversity. He has been outspoken about it.

 

“I think at its core, it’s what America is all about,” he said in a recent interview. “We are a diverse nation with people from all over the world. Diversity is a good thing. Diversity is of God.”

 

“So much of our history has been exclusive, especially when it comes to race,” he added. “And it’s just un-American; it’s un-Christian; it’s anti-Catholic.”

 

This is the priest the pope has now made a bishop in the nation’s capital — blocks from a White House where Stephen Miller dictates immigration policy and where the words “diversity, equity, and inclusion” have been struck from federal use.

Convicted former Harvard scientist rebuilds brain computer lab in China

 

SHENZHEN, April 30 (Reuters) - An American scientist convicted of lying to U.S. authorities about payments from China while he was at Harvard University has rebuilt his research lab in Shenzhen to pursue technology the Chinese government has identified as a national priority: embedding electronics into the human brain.

 

Charles Lieber, 67, is among the world’s leading researchers in brain-computer interfaces. The technology has shown promise in treating conditions such as ALS and restoring movement in paralyzed patients. But it also has potential military applications: Scientists at China’s People’s Liberation Army have investigated brain interfaces as a way to engineer super soldiers by boosting mental agility and situational awareness, according to the U.S. Defense Department.

 

Lieber was found guilty by ‌a jury and convicted in December 2021 of making false statements to federal investigators about his ties to a Chinese state program to recruit overseas talent, and tax offenses related to payments he received from a Chinese university. He served two days in prison and six months under house arrest, and was fined $50,000 and ordered to pay $33,600 in restitution to the Internal Revenue Service. ‌During the case, his defense said he was suffering from an incurable lymphoma, which was in remission, and he was fighting for his life.

 

Three years after he was sentenced, Reuters has learned that Lieber is now overseeing China’s state-funded i-BRAIN, or the Institute for Brain Research, Advanced Interfaces and Neurotechnologies, with access to dedicated nanofabrication equipment and primate research infrastructure unavailable to him at Harvard. The lab is an arm of the Shenzhen Medical Academy of Research and Translation, or SMART.

 

“I arrived on April 28, 2025 with a dream ​and not much more, maybe a couple bags of clothes,” Lieber said of his move to China at a Shenzhen government conference in December. “Personally, my own goals are to make Shenzhen a world leader.”

 

Lieber, through an assistant, declined an interview request, citing “current commitments.” He didn’t respond to written questions from Reuters.

 

SMART last year appointed Lieber as an investigator, according to a post on i-BRAIN’s website dated May 1, 2025. That news was covered by some media outlets. The same day, i-BRAIN said Lieber had also been appointed its founding director – an announcement that went unreported at the time.

 

This story is the most comprehensive account of Lieber’s activities since he moved to China. Reuters is reporting for the first time that his lab has access to dedicated primate research facilities and chip-making equipment; that it sits within a sprawling ecosystem of state-backed institutions bankrolled by billions of dollars in government funding; and that it is housed within an institution that is luring top scientific talent back from the United States.

 

In 2011, Lieber was named the world’s top chemist of the preceding decade in a set of scientific rankings published by Thomson Reuters, the parent of Reuters news agency. Thomson Reuters, which in 2016 sold the business that compiled the rankings, declined to comment.

 

Some analysts say Lieber’s ability to reconstitute his laboratory after a federal criminal conviction for lying about his ties to China shows ‌how U.S. safeguards on technology with potential military uses haven’t kept pace with Chinese government efforts to acquire it. That concern is amplified because of ⁠Beijing’s military-civil fusion strategy, whereby civilian scientific resources and research are shared with the military.

 

“China has weaponized against us our own openness and our own efforts for innovation,” said Glenn Gerstell, a nonresident senior adviser at the Center for Strategic and International Studies and former general counsel of the U.S. National Security Agency from 2015 to 2020. “They’ve flipped that and turned it around against us, and they’re taking advantage of it.”

Tennessee drops ‘pride’ from June and renames its ‘Nuclear Family Month’

 

Tennessee will now recognize June as "Nuclear Family Month," a move some critics claim is less about family and more about diminishing the LGBTQ community during Pride Month.

 

The state’s governor, Bill Lee, signed a resolution on April 9, introducing the new holiday just two days after the state's Republican-controlled legislature advanced it through the statehouse. June is also when Pride Month, which celebrates LGBTQ-identifying individuals, is observed.

 

The resolution’s language includes a definition of the nuclear family as "one husband, one wife, and any biological, adopted, or fostered children," and claims that it is “God’s design for familial structure” and “God’s perfect design for humanity," according to The Advocate.

 

It also includes several statistics warning about the problems with "fatherless homes.” It also condemns the “humanistic, globalist ideologies of the World Health Organization, the United Nations, and like-minded organizations that fight for population control.”

 

The governor did not issue a statement when he signed the resolution.

 

Lee and the state's Republicans wanted to do away with Pride Month last year as well, but it took the legislation a year to clear the statehouse.

 

GLAAD has criticized the state's decision not to recognize Pride Month.

 

“Resolutions like this do more to reveal the cluelessness of elected officials whose own families and those of their constituents have various family dynamics and structures,” GLAAD wrote in a statement to The Advocate.

 

“The strongest families are grounded by love. Lawmakers trying to exclude and intentionally harm some families should be recognized as actively harming all by not focusing their time working for an inclusive Tennessee where all are welcome and can succeed,” the statement said.

 

The resolution has no enforcement teeth, meaning Tennesseans are free to celebrate Pride Month or not celebrate "Nuclear Family Month" if they choose.

 

A previous state GOP-led piece of legislation, the "No Pride Flag or Month Act," died in a state Senate committee meeting in March, Nashville Scene reports.

 

That legislation would have banned the display of Pride flags or other LGBT symbols in government buildings, had it passed.

 

During deliberations, Democratic state Senator Jeff Yarbro said that the legislation was a blatant attempt to infringe on the freedom of speech afforded to all Americans.

 

“There is no way to do this without just wildly overreaching on freedom of speech,” he said last month. “I think it's wrong and inappropriate to target this group, but it's wrong and inappropriate to target any group like this.”

 

The committee voted 3-3 on the legislation, which was not enough for it to advance.

 

State Representative Gino Bulso, the Republican who introduced the No Pride Flag or Month Act, claims he did so after parents began complaining to him that their children's teachers were displaying Pride flags and other LGBTQ symbols in their classrooms.

 

Bulso tried to pass a similar measure in 2024, but it also died in the Senate.

In a letter to shareholders, the gaming company wrote that its new age-check feature “restricted on-platform communication for non-age checked users, diluted communication for age-checked users, and slowed new user acquisition,” causing greater-than-expected headwinds.

 

In January, the company restricted its chat feature to users who completed its age-check verification. According to the company, 73% of age-checked daily active users on Roblox were under 18, with 35% under 13 as of Jan. 31.

 

To account for the slowed growth, Roblox slashed its full-year 2026 guidance.

 

The company updated its full-year 2026 bookings to fall between $7.33 billion and $7.6 billion. It forecasted 2026 bookings to be almost $1 billion higher last quarter, falling between $8.28 billion and $8.55 billion.

 

“While our aggressive push to enhance safety lowers our expectations for topline growth in 2026, it makes our platform fundamentally better and amplifies the long-term growth potential of Roblox through more effective content targeting, tailored communication experiences, and improved community sentiment,” the company wrote in its letter to shareholders.

 

Roblox’s first-quarter results beat Wall Street’s estimates, with a loss of 35 cents per share beating the estimated loss of 41 cents per share. It reported $1.73 billion in revenue for the quarter, narrowly beating analysts’ estimates of $1.72 billion.

 

Roblox is facing over 140 lawsuits in U.S. Federal Court accusing the company of failing to protect children from sexual exploitation, according to Reuters. Last month, the company reached settlements with Alabama and West Virginia, agreeing to pay out a combined $23.2 million.

 

The company announced new account types for younger age groups last month, as well as expanded parental controls.

NEW: I’m told by federal sources that a Dominican illegal alien with a deportation order & an Interpol Red Notice arrest warrant for murder in his home county was ordered released from ICE custody on Tuesday by Rhode Island federal judge Melissa DuBose (Biden appointee). I’m told that international fugitive Bryan Rafael Gomez was arrested by ICE Boston in Worcester, MA on April 4th, and had been detained in a facility in Rhode Island where he was issued a deportation order on April 28th by an immigration judge.

 

On Tuesday, I’m told Judge DuBose ordered Gomez be released from ICE custody on the grounds of “continuous unlawful detention”, while ICE argued that Gomez was subject to mandatory detention due to having an international arrest warrant for homicide.

 

I’m told Gomez was released, is now roaming freely again, and ICE can’t rearrest him due to Judge DuBose’s order. He was caught and released at the southern border by the Biden administration in 2022.

Although Hawaii is like a good area for tourism it is not for major international trade to physically take place. No offense I do not know if this is the real governor is all it is not because it could not be I just well do not know. I believe they created a fake construct in areas seen where they had their pictures taken down in building so on which was unusual so to speak.

Syrian Gets Just Six Months In Jail For Raping 13-Year-Old Girl After Court Cites His Low IQ

 

A 21-year-old Syrian man convicted of raping a 13-year-old Norwegian girl in a bike shed will serve just six months in prison after a court cited his low IQ, limited development, and a recent change in Norwegian sentencing law.

 

Abdelmonem Abdelrazak Al-Yousef was found guilty by Nord-Troms and Senja District Court on March 31 in relation to the rape that occurred during the night of Sept. 7, 2024, near the Harbour Terminal in Tromso.

 

As reported by Norwegian news outlet Document, the teen victim had left her home during the night and gone into the city center. At the Harbour Terminal, she encountered Al-Yousef and another man. The court said there was little conversation because the defendant spoke only Arabic.

 

The court found that Al-Yousef first assaulted the girl on a bench near the Edge Hotel before the abuse continued in a covered bicycle parking area belonging to the Harbour Terminal. He also attempted vaginal intercourse, but the judgment said he did not succeed because the victim did not want to.

 

Al-Yousef, who arrived in Norway from Syria in 2023, initially denied ever meeting the girl and denied being the person seen in surveillance images. He later admitted meeting and kissing her, but continued to deny sexual activity or entering the bicycle area.

 

Police found semen on the asphalt at the scene, and DNA testing linked it to Al-Yousef. The court rejected his defense, noting it was entirely lacking in credibility.

 

The court also found that Al-Yousef should have understood the girl was underage. The victim had said she was born in 2008, while a witness said she appeared visibly young and childlike. In a police interview, Al-Yousef himself said she looked small and around the same age as his younger sister, who was born in 2010.

 

However, the sentence was reduced after forensic psychiatric experts found that he had a mild intellectual disability. One assessment estimated his IQ at 41, although a later report put it in the range of 64 to 75.

 

The court treated his condition as a mitigating factor and said that, despite being 19 years and 8 months old at the time of the offense, his developmental level could be considered comparable to that of the 13-year-old victim.

 

The judgment, cited by Utenfilter, said, “In mitigation, the court finds that it must be emphasized that the defendant is most likely no further along in development than the victim, and that he appears to have a reduced understanding of reality.”

 

The case was also affected by a Norwegian legal change that entered into force last July, when the minimum sentence for rape of children under 14 was repealed. Previously, such cases carried a minimum sentence of three years in prison.

 

The court described the abuse as degrading and clearly exploitative, noting that it took place outdoors in public after the defendant and victim had met only a short time earlier. It nevertheless set a starting point of two years in prison before reducing the effective sentence.

 

After deductions for Al-Yousef’s low level of development and the age of the case, one year and six months of the sentence was made conditional with a three-year probation period. As a result, he will serve six months in prison.

 

The victim was awarded 280,000 Norwegian kroner (€25,700) in compensation for damages. The court said that although the girl had reportedly not described the incident as especially burdensome, she was young and such events could affect her later in life.
