Illegal Alien Arrested by ICE, Wanted for Murder in Mexico, Has Five Anchor Babies with Illegal Alien Wife

An illegal alien living in the United States who was recently arrested by the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and is wanted in Mexico on homicide charges has five U.S.-born children that have been rewarded with birthright citizenship.

Joel Arrona-Lara, an illegal alien from Mexico, made national headlines this week when he was arrested by ICE agents while driving his pregnant wife to the hospital. The establishment media immediately portrayed Arrona-Lara as a victim of President Trump’s increased immigration enforcement, but soon after ICE revealed that the illegal alien is wanted in Mexico for murder.

In a statement to Breitbart News, ICE officials said Arrona-Lara was originally brought to their attention after he was charged with homicide in Mexico.

The illegal alien has been living in the U.S. illegally with his illegal alien wife Maria del Carmen Venegas for 12 years, the San Bernardino Sun reveals. The couple has five children who were all born in the U.S., and thus have been rewarded with birthright citizenship despite their parents not having come to the country legally.

These children are commonly known as “anchor babies,” as they are able to eventually bring an unlimited number of foreign relatives to the U.S. through the process known as “chain migration.” Every two new immigrants to the U.S. brings an estimated seven foreign relatives with them.

There are at least 4.5 million anchor babies in the U.S. under the age of 18-years-old, according to the Congressional Budget Office. This estimate does not include the potentially millions of anchor babies who are older than 18-years-old, nor does it include the anchor babies who are living overseas with their deported foreign parents.

Proponents of birthright citizenship often claim the 14th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution requires the policy. The Supreme Court, however, has never explicitly ruled that the children of illegal aliens must be granted automatic citizenship and many legal scholars dispute the idea.

also known as Regla de Ocha, La Regla de Ifá,[1][2] or Lucumí, is an Afro-American religion of Caribbean origin that developed in the Spanish Empire among West African descendants. Santería is a Spanish word that means the "worship of saints". Santería is influenced by and syncretized with Roman Catholicism. Its sacred language is the Lucumí language, a variety of Yoruba.

The colonial period from the standpoint of enslaved African people can be defined as a time of perseverance. Their world quickly changed. Tribal kings and their families, politicians, business and community leaders all were enslaved and taken to a foreign region of the world. Religious leaders, their relatives and their followers were no longer free people to worship as they saw fit. Colonial laws criminalized their religion. They were forced to become baptized and worship a god their ancestors had not known who was surrounded by a pantheon of saints. The early concerns during this period seem to have necessitated a need for individual survival under harsh plantation conditions. A sense of hope was sustaining the internal essence of what today is called Santería, a misnomer (and former pejorative) for the indigenous religion of the Lukumi people of Nigeria. In the heart of their homeland, they had a complex political and social order. They were a sedentary hoe farming cultural group with specialized labor. Their religion, based on the worship of nature, was renamed and documented by their slave owners. Santería, a pejorative term that characterizes deviant Catholic forms of worshiping saints, has become a common name for the religion. The term santero(a) is used to describe a priest or priestess replacing the traditional term Olorisha as an extension of the deities. The orishas became known as the saints in image of the Catholic pantheon.

In order to preserve and shield (mask) their traditional beliefs, the Lucumí people syncretized their Orichás with Catholic saints.[4] (As a consequence, the terms "saint" and "orichá" are commonly used interchangeably among practitioners.) Spanish colonial planters who saw the enslaved African people celebrating on saints' days did not know that they were actually performing rituals related to Orichás, and assumed that they were showing more interest in Catholic saints than in the Christian God—hence the origin of the term Santería.[4]

The historical veiling of the relationship between Catholic saints and Orichás is compounded by the fact that the vast majority of santeros in Cuba, Puerto Rico, and the Dominican Republic, are also Roman Catholics, have been baptized, and often require initiates to be baptized in Roman Catholicism as well.

The spread of Santería beyond the Spanish-speaking parts of the Caribbean, including to the United States, was catalyzed by the Cuban Revolution of 1959.[4] In 1974, the Church of Lukumi Babalu Aye became the first Santería church in the United States to become officially incorporated.[5]

CA Legislative Committees Pass Seven Gun Control Bills

A California Senate committee and an assembly committee passed a total of seven new gun control bills during the past week.

The majority of the bills expand gun controls that are already in place.

The Firearms Policy Coalition (FPC) reported on the seven gun control bills:

SB 746 (Portantino) – Passed by the committee with amendments. Expands firearm serial number requirements; modifies existing statutes to allow prohibited persons to transfer firearms and ammunition to a licensed FFL for the duration of the prohibition. FPC opposed the expanded serial number requirements.

SB 1100 (Portantino) – Passed by the committee. Restricts firearm sales to persons 21 years old and older. FPC opposed.

SB 1177 (Portantino) – Passed by the committee. Restricts new firearm purchases to one in thirty days (expanding existing handgun restriction to long guns). FPC opposed.

Each of the gun control bills was sponsored by Democrats.

The restrictions of firearms sales to persons 21 years old and older mean California law would bar 18-20-year-old citizens from buying long guns even though federal law allows the purchase.

The rationing of firearm purchases to one a month would mean law-abiding citizens who comply with all guns controls — i.e., acquire a safety certificate from the state, pass a point of sale background check, and pass a ten-day waiting period — would face an additional control of being barred from purchasing more than one firearm per month.

The expansion of the Gun Violence Restraining Order (GVRO) confirms what the NRA has warned about again and again when voicing opposition: “Orders can be abused and issued in cases where the police lack sufficient evidence for an arrest and simply wish to deprive an individual of the right to bear arms.”

The NRA does support GVROs, but only if they meet certain strict criteria. That criteria includes that such orders must be of strictly limited duration, that they can only be sought by close contacts such as family members, and that the government bears the burden of presenting evidence to a court of the person’s dangerousness to justify the temporary seizure.

It should also be noted that gun controls barring 18-20-year-olds from exercising their Second Amendment rights are being challenged by the NRA in states like Florida and by private citizens in Oregon.

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) - A company of the North Carolina National Guard is leaving Eastern Carolina for an operation out in Guantanamo Bay.

The 514th Military Police Company, based out of Winterville in Pitt County, marched out of the Pirates Club at Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium in front of loved ones on Sunday.

It was part of a ceremony hosted by the North Carolina National Guard to celebrate the company before it departs for Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

The 160 soldiers will perform security operations as part of Operation Enduring Freedom.

"It's a pretty awesome occasion to have everyone here," Lt. Fredrick Yebuah said. "We have our traditional families with us but we also have our military family which is, which is nice to see their support."

The 514th will be deployed for about ten months. These men and women have previously been called to State Active Duty missions for Hurricane Matthew and the 2016 Charlotte Riots.

The grant will support the three-year project aimed at identifying and reducing the potential for firefighter and occupant injuries and deaths that could be associated with hazards posed by green building elements.

This research will begin to quantify the fire hazards and risks associated with green building features, identify ways to mitigate those hazards and risks, and prepare the fire service to fight fires in buildings with green features and elements. These are all needs identified by the National Association of State Fire Marshals, the Fire Protection Research Foundation, and the National Fire Service Research Agenda.

In 2012, Brian Meacham, associate professor of fire protection engineering at WPI, co-authored Fire Safety Challenges of Green Buildings, a report commissioned by the Fire Protection Research Foundation, the research arm of the National Fire Protection Association.

For the report, Meacham and his team conducted a global literature search and surveyed agencies around the world to assemble a list of 78 green building features and construction elements that could have implications for fire safety. They then derived a list of potential hazards associated with the features and elements, including greater flammability, faster burn rate, and increased hindrance to firefighters, as compared with conventional construction.

For example, while lightweight engineered lumber (LEL) uses less material, LEL flooring could present risks to firefighters because of a propensity to collapse under fire conditions more quickly than conventional timber construction. Photovoltaic panels generate green electricity, but a rooftop solar array may pose an ignition hazard, can readily burn once ignited, and may continue to produce electricity as long as the sun is out, posing an electrocution hazard.

The research project funded by Homeland Security will enable Meacham, who is principal investigator, to explore further some of the potential risks and hazards identified in the report.

9/11 Trial Judge Forbids Use of FBI Interrogations at Guantanamo

The judge in the death-penalty trial of those accused of carrying out the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks in the U.S. has ruled that prosecutors may not use key FBI interrogations conducted at the Guantanamo prison soon after years of CIA black site abuse ended.

Under the war court system, confessions must be voluntary. So prosecutors had already pledged not to use what the captives told their CIA interrogators while they were questioned for years and tortured. Instead, as a substitute, prosecutors had planned to have FBI agents describe what the suspects told them soon after their September 2006 transfers to Guantanamo in supposedly consensual interviews.

But the judge, Army Col. James L. Pohl, excluded the FBI interviews, known as "clean team statements," from trial.

"Protective Order #4 will not allow the defense to develop the particularity and nuance necessary to present a rich and vivid account of the 3-4 year period in CIA custody the defense alleges constituted coercion," Pohl wrote in the ruling issued Friday. "In order to provide the defense with substantially the same ability to make a defense as would discovery of or access to the specific classified information, the government will not be permitted introduce any FBI Clean Team Statement from any of the accused for any purpose."

Defense attorneys, who have top-secret security clearances, argued that the prosecutors' cascading restrictions and threats over trying to find and question potential witnesses of their clients' torture, notably CIA agents, deprived the accused 9/11 plotter Khalid Sheik Mohammed and four alleged accomplices of a fair trial.

Prosecutors countered that restrictions on defense attorneys were a national security necessity, and that the U.S. government had given defense lawyers enough CIA-screened and redacted documents or court-approved substitutions for evidence about the black sites, to let them try to get the Guantanamo interrogations excluded.

To defend prohibitions on defense investigations, chief prosecutor Army Brig. Gen. Mark Martins told the judge in a Jan. 11 hearing: "The mere seeking of interviews with people – and wandering up and ambushing people at the Piggly Wiggly – is a serious thing."

No holocaust, no dropping of the Atom bomb, no mass-death by starvation as a result of Churchill's democidal blockade, no mass-murder of Germans by Churchill's carpet-bombing of civilian cities.

The advances in a fairer society initiated by Hitler in Germany based on sound socialist principles serving the majority rather than the few would have spread throughout Europe. The control of banking by greedy unethical international financiers would have been curtailed. The sharing of wealth amongst the working and middle classes away from the greedy grip of a small percentage would have been inaugurated. The standard of living of ALL Europe would have been raised. Hitler's plans for the architectural renovation of the unified German people at the centre of a European unification would have been implemented.
