a few weeks ago, im sitting in my carport patio with another friend, and all of a sudden i hear a distinct fan noise above us, im near the edge of the carport and look up, and there is a drone about the size of a volkswagon car in lenght (maybe 10 feet long) and about 3 feet wide, and has 2 fans for hovering at each end, but it was moving at about 5 MPH, faster then a walk and slower then a jog, and here is the thing, my place is one story home, it was only about 2 to 3 stories in height, like 30 feet off the ground, i went whoa!, check it out, and then out the back of the carport it continued on its way, this was so low, nighttime, so quiet, you had to be below it to really hear it, in about 5 to 10 seconds it was already out of view in the darkness, (and only about a foot in thickness for the drone) this was not a normal drone, as to the size and how it flew, and how low in the sky, well, it would of hit a lot of tall homes where i live if it stayed at that height, it wasn't like 100 feet off the ground, it was close, and nighttime,

anyway, what do you think they were doing with it at night? what reason would you think it was being used for?

Mike Pence sparks QAnon theories after deleting tweet featuring badge

Vice President Mike Pence is fuelling QAnon conspiracists after he tweeted, and then deleted, a photograph of him standing next to a Florida sheriff deputy wearing a QAnon badge.

The photo showed Pence being greeted by members of the Broward Sheriff's Office SWAT team at Fort-Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport on Friday. One of the men pictured was wearing a red and black badge with a Q on it, which appears to be the same design as QAnon merchandise being sold online.  

The apparently Q-loving officer has been identified as Sergeant Matt Patten of the Broward Sheriff’s Office.

QAnon is an elaborate conspiracy born on 4Chan last October after an anonymous poster claiming to be a high level US government official called ‘Q’ began posting cryptic messages. It claims President Donald Trump is secretly trying to bring down a child sex trafficking ring and the Mueller investigation is just a cover. The theory has since evolved and spawned numerous alternative narratives.

The QAnon badge photo was shared on the vice president’s official account, meaning it’s unlikely that Pence posted it himself.

An official from the vice president’s office told Buzzfeed News the image was deleted after staff were made aware of the QAnon badge, so as to avoid drawing attention to the conspiracy theory.

The account later shared a new version of the tweet without the man wearing the badge.

“The patch is not authorized by BSO,” Broward County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson told the Miami New Times. “This matter will be addressed immediately.”

Pope Francis is “concerned” about what he describes as the “serious issue” of homosexuality, saying in an interview published on Saturday that being gay is a “fashion” to which the clergy is susceptible.

“The issue of homosexuality is a very serious issue that must be adequately discerned from the beginning with the candidates,” the pontiff said with regards to would-be priests.

“In our societies it even seems that homosexuality is fashionable and that mentality, in some way, also influences the life of the church,” he says in the book The Strength of a Vocation, released in Italy on Saturday.

“This is something I am concerned about, because perhaps at one time it did not receive much attention,” he says in the book, a transcript of an interview that will be released in 10 languages.

The Roman Catholic church’s position is that homosexual acts are sinful. The pontiff’s stance on homosexuality in the clergy is not new.

A decree on training for Roman Catholic priests in 2016 stressed the obligation of sexual abstinence, as well as barring gay men and those who support “gay culture” from holy orders.

The barring of people who present homosexual tendencies was first stipulated by the Catholic church in 2005.

“It can happen that at the time perhaps they didn’t exhibit [that tendency], but later on it comes out,” Francis said.

“In consecrated and priestly life, there’s no room for that kind of affection. Therefore, the church recommends that people with that kind of ingrained tendency should not be accepted into the ministry or consecrated life.

“The ministry or the consecrated life is not his place.”

Gay clergy were urged to be “impeccably responsible” in a warning over bad behaviour that was notable for its silence on heterosexual clergy who break their vow of celibacy.

We “have to urge homosexual priests, and men and women religious, to live celibacy with integrity, and above all, that they be impeccably responsible, trying to never scandalise either their communities or the faithful holy people of God,” the pope said.

“It’s better for them to leave the ministry or the consecrated life rather than to live a double life.”
