There has to be a foundational basis for unity - a commonly held system of beliefs, if you like, which underpins the larger part of any society. Multiculturalism destroyed that. Instead of promoting integration into the host culture it fostered competing cultures and thus division. There is no such thing as multiculturalism because it breeds competing cultures which will always end with one particular culture dominating all others - usually the culture whose adherents breed fastest and thereby overwhelm with sheer numbers. The National Enquirer recently published an article about Obama and Clinton spying. They claim the wiretapping on Trump started back in 2013 with NY AG Eric Schneiderman, an Obama appointee, who at the time was probing Trump University. The wiretaps were sought for a fake investigation into alleged Russian mobsters living in Trump Tower. The real target was Trump himself. Obama allegedly asked Schneiderman to hand this off to the feds. In return, strings were pulled giving him a nice campaign contribution.

While the Enquirer may be a tabloid, their stories on politicians have been pretty accurate in the past.

The purchase also gave Gannett a total of 75 papers,. the largest number owned by a single chain in the country. The combined daily circulation of the papers is about 140,000 and the total circulation of its Saturday and Sunday editions is about 200,000.

Yesterday, Gannett appointed Brian J. Donnelly, 44 years old, the former publisher of Gannett's two newspapers in Binghamton, N.Y., as publisher of the News-Journal Company, ,here. Mr. Donnelly and ,other Gannett officials said in interviews here that the papers would cover objectively and impartially the Du Pont Company and family, which have pervasive economic and political power in the state.

Several years ago, editors and reporters of the two papers sometimes quarreled with the Du Pont corporate management over alleged interference in editorial decisions and policies.

“Those were old days,” said one Gannett official. Mr. Donnelly added, “We will cover Du Pont in Wilmington the same way we cover I.B.M. in Binghamton or Eastman Kodak in Rochester,” the chain's home base in New York State where it operates The Democrat and Chronicle and The Times-Union.

Andrew Fisher, who recently resigned as publisher and president of the Wilmington papers but will remain for an indefinite period as a consultant, said that in the 18 months he has been in charge here, there was “no instance of pressure” from Du Pont on the papers’ policies.

“We have been doing a fair, square, clean job on Du Pont,” Mr. Fisher said.

Allen H. Neuharth, president of Gannett, said after the officials visited each department of the papers yesterday that he had assured the company's 600 employes that there were no plans to change the size of the editorial, production or business staffs. He said he expected the papers’ profits, which were about $2 million last year, to continue to rise.

Gannett's decision to buy the Wilmington papers was made two weeks ago, the culmination of a somewhat unusual procedure for the sale of newspapers in this country.

The Du Pont Company, which acquired direct control of the papers last year when it got Federal approval to merge with one of its subsidiary holding companies, Christiana Securities, set rare rules for prospective buyers. Du Pont insisted on a deposit of $200,000 for the right to examine the newspaper company prospectus and an additional $200,000 to inspect the physical plant.

Several possible buyers, including The New York Times Company, which had been tentatively interested in the Wilmington offer, did not submit the deposits. Gannett's bid of $60 million was the highest received by Du Pont, more than the undisclosed amount offered by the second highest bidder, the Hearst Corporation, and the $55 million reportedly offered by the third highest, The Washington Post Company.

Some reporters and editors on the two papers had hoped Du Pont would sell to The Washington Post. But after the Gannett executives spoke to employees at the downtown offices of the papers, there was no noticeable unrest or• gloom left in their wake.

“They , haven't said anything bad so far, and that's good,” said one man in the newsroom.

One Gannett official, answering questions from employees, said there would be “no pink slips Monday unless they were already in- the works” before the Gannett takeover. Mr. Neuharth said, he was pleased with the “profitability” of

the papers, adding, “We don't have any plans for reducing or adding to the work force. These people here know what they're doing.”

An anon recently described having a dream about Q and today I unsuspectingly had a similar experience. I've been on this since the /cbts/ migration and today was the first time I had a dream about this, and it's pretty interesting. If you don't believe in this, don't let it disturb you, so don't read if you don't believe in dreams.

One part of the dream was me following a shady figure through various military scenarios, this is not important so I'll skip this part, but it ended with that guy entering an apartment in a complex that looked like those in NYC, with fire escapes everywhere. The lights went off but I shone my trusty flashlight and yelled "Q is that you". I stood back cautiously so as not to get blown by a suprise shotgun blast or something, the figure opened the door, went past me and joined his "neighbour" that also came out from an apartment to the right. The two then faced me.

Both were two guys with blue slightly slant eyes, blonde hair, wearing blue-ish nicely decorated outfits smiling radiantly at me. Just standing there smiling. If they were girls they'd be the most beautiful girls you'd ever see (no homo). They were just pure happiness. I felt so small and insecure compared to them, despite my physical size advantage. I remember the first guy's face (the one I "chased" through the first part of the dream). They told me something along the lines of "protecting the planet Venus", and that their mission is of that kind. They protect planets from evil, Earth being one of them.

This probably happened because I read that anon's post, but this guy - this "Q guy"'s face was so defined, you don't see these in dreams often if at all. If saw him again somewhere I'm sure he'd instantly pop back into memory. And no it's NOT that guy from the first post in /cbts/ meta Q thread, though it's probably related. Call me crazy.

The issue with mental health isn't that the kids/adults aren't getting help or that some of the meds actually work, the problem is that those that are a serious risk are being hidden and that info isn't being sent to NICS. Those that are a serious threat, regardless of service or not, should be prevented from owning a gun until they are good. And I think you'll find soldiers agree.

The problem is that the last few bills in congress have wanted to permanently ban anyone that's ever been on certain meds and one of those certain meds is weed. They're not worried about helping anyone, they just want excused to take away guns. If people see that the law is written with actual care involved and that it is never a permanent solution unless its a permanent problem for them, it will be accepted. The biggest problem with the system right now is doctors and police stations simply not passing the information up the chain. Fixing that alone will make a big difference.
