Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA) joined Maria Bartiromo on Sunday Morning Futures this morning.

 

Nunes discussed the recent letter Freedom Caucus members Rep. Mark Meadows (R-NC) and Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) sent to Attorney General Bill Barr.

 

According to Rep. Nunes Attorney General Bill Barr has until March 15th to respond to their requests.

 

AG Barr Has Until March 15 to Disclose Information on Weissmann and Ahmad’s Conflicts on Special Counsel.

 

Rep. Devin Nunes: So Weissmann is the number two, he’s Mueller’s deputy. He was involved in the custody of the dossiers. In early 20016 he was given the dossier. He is someone, along with the other one mentioned there, both DOJ people, both on the Mueller team. They shouldn’t be involved in this investigation… There’s clear regulations the DOJ has. You can’t be conflicted. Look did they disclose before Mueller picked them that they were involved in the custody of the dossier?… We know these two individuals were involved in the custody of important evidence, dirt from the Clinton campaign that is the basis for the entire hoax…

 

Nunes: These are not independent investigators. These are people who were in on it from the beginning… We also have information that Weissman was meeting with reporters. And this is part of this whole disinformation campaign… You also had people with the Department of Justice and the FBI who were briefing reporters. What was Weissman doing talking to AP reporters? We asked those questions and never got those answers.

 

Maria Bartiromo: Jordan and Meadows want this information from the Attorney General by March 15th at 5 PM.

 

This is amazing.

A big part of this is complete bullshit.

There are so many corrupt actors buried within the network that are never going to be dug out. They openly brag about it.

For example, a corrupt DOJ attorney managed to bury in over at DHS before Trump took office, and he is working within to undermine THAT agency.

Lather, rinse, repeat.

Unless the entire FedGov is shutdown and a major housecleaning/RIF takes place, nothing will change.

Cristina Ortega is an Assistant U.S. Attorney here in Utah.

"My primary focus in the violent crimes team is child porn. Child porn cases."

That means she prosecutes those who prey on our children and unfortunately, that happens frequently in Utah.

"I came in ready to work and the work was there."

The former Davis County and Salt Lake County prosecutor says this is what she has wanted to do since childhood.

"I knew I wanted to be a prosecutor when I was in elementary school. I knew this was what I wanted to do."

Normalization of ties with Israel contradicts Islamic teachings: Houthi

 

The leader of Yemen’s Houthi Ansarullah movement has vehemently condemned attempts by a number of Arab states and Persian Gulf kingdoms to normalize diplomatic relations with the Israeli regime, stressing that such efforts are in blatant contradiction to teachings of Islam.

 

Delivering a televised speech broadcast live from the Yemeni capital Sana’a on Sunday afternoon, Abdul-Malik al-Houthi said, “The Israeli regime is a partner to the ongoing military aggression against Yemen. Their hostility toward Yemen is intensely reflected in their media reports. The administration of (Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin) Netanyahu is complicit in this onslaught.”

 

He added, “The scandalous Warsaw Conference – an international gathering organized by Washington in the Polish capital on February 13-14 – was, in fact, a declaration of normalization and partnership with Israel.

 

“There can be no normalization and relations with the Israeli enemy unless at the expense of the Palestinian cause and recognition of (Tel Aviv regime’s) occupation.”

 

The Ansarullah leader further pointed out that normalization of relations with the Tel Aviv regime will pave the way for Americans and Israelis to advance their projects in the Middle East region.

 

“Occupation of any part of the Muslim world is a bid to target Muslims. Normalization of ties with the Israeli enemy amounts to opposition to all those who are at odds with the Tel Aviv regime. Such normalization runs contrary to the teachings of Islam,” Houthi highlighted.

 

Houthi's remarks came amid reports denoting that Israel and several Arab states have had secret contacts for years, and the two sides have stepped up their attempts to bring their clandestine relations out in the open.

Three full years ago today the FBI came to our door and took my wonderful husband from our home. It's been 36 months, 156 weeks, 1,095 days since Jerry DeLemus has had a home cooked meal or slept in his own bed.

That day started out like every other day until there was a knock on the door at around 8:00 AM. I remember asking the agent, "When will he be home?" What a stupid question that was. Little did I know at that time.

He committed no crime and had been home from Bunkerville, NV since 2014.

I remember how so many of you rallied to our side and came to the Courthouse in Concord within just a few hours of hearing the news.

And ever since then you have helped us in every way you can. Your time, talents and treasures and most importantly your prayers have sustained us throughout this entire time.

If the system plays out its heinous game of collateral damage we will have to endure yet another three years of this tortuous time apart. Nevertheless, we shall prevail because Truth prevails and Yeshua Messiah and YeHoVaH are Truth.

Inside the Israeli Right’s Campaign to Silence an Anti-Occupation Group

 

On January 12, 2016, Yuli Novak called her staff of a dozen people together in their Tel Aviv offices to reveal the identity of a spy who had infiltrated the organization. At the time, Novak was the executive director of Breaking the Silence, an Israeli anti-occupation group that collects testimonies of Israeli soldiers operating in Palestinian territories. She informed the staff that a man calling himself “Chai” had been secretly videotaping them. Chai had been active with the group for a year and a half, visiting their office on a weekly basis, and had grown close to several staff members.

 

“The moment I said it, everyone’s first reaction was to look left and right,” Novak told me over iced tea in Jaffa, near Tel Aviv, in July. “The initial feeling was paranoia — everyone thinking to themselves, Who else? People were automatically suspicious. In that moment, you don’t know who is for you and who is against you.” Frima Bubis, who joined Breaking the Silence just before Chai was exposed, remembers the feeling. “Your mind just runs — I even suspected Yuli. It was awful. Everyone scared of the other, but everyone looking to others for support,” Bubis said. “I remember it as a moment of serious trauma of trust. It was a relief that it wasn’t anyone from the staff.”

 

Chai, whose real name turned out to be Chaim Fremd, had been hired by a right-wing Israeli group called Ad Kan, or “no more” in Hebrew. Ad Kan, part of the powerful political network that supports Israeli settlements in the occupied territories, holds as its mission to dig up dirt on Israelis who “seek to join the anti-Israel platform.”

 

Chai wasn’t the first mole. In the months prior, there were less successful attempts to sabotage Breaking the Silence’s work. including people who approached the group with fabricated accounts of their service in an effort to entrap the organization into publishing inaccurate testimonies. Among them was Oren Hazan, who in 2015 tried to get the group to publish a testimony he made up about Israel’s 2014 military operation in Gaza; he later admitted when confronted by a journalist in the halls of the Knesset, Israel’s parliament, that he was part of a settler-funded campaign to “expose” left-wing groups. He went on to become a legislator with the ruling Likud Party.

 

For Breaking the Silence, the discovery of a network of spies was just the tip of the iceberg. The small whistleblower organization has found itself at the epicenter of a well-orchestrated, ongoing campaign by a spectrum of right-wing groups, individuals, media outlets, and senior politicians to quash its exposure of Israel’s occupation and human rights violations. The attacks have included incitement and threats. They have been called liars, traitors, and enemies.

 

For the right, the attacks against Breaking the Silence make sense. The military is revered in Israel, and elite combat soldiers who question or challenge their service in the occupied territories represent the most effective wrench in the institutionalization of Israel’s system of control in the West Bank and Gaza. As one of the sole voices in Israel speaking consistently and clearly against the occupation, a bright red target has been placed on the group’s back. Now I can't speak to their intelligence…but speaking for myself, I had a sixth sense early on, that it was him or DOOM. Rand Paul to vote against Trump's national emergency declaration

 

 

Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) said that he will oppose President Trump's national emergency declaration to fund a wall along the southern border, as the Senate prepares to vote on a resolution to block it.

 

Paul, speaking at the Southern Kentucky Lincoln Day Dinner late Saturday, said that he couldn't "vote to give extra-Constitutional powers to the president."

 

“I can’t vote to give the president the power to spend money that hasn’t been appropriated by Congress. We may want more money for border security, but Congress didn’t authorize it. If we take away those checks and balances, it’s a dangerous thing," he said, according to the Bowling Green Daily News.

 

A spokesman for Paul didn't immediately respond to a request for comment about his remarks.

 

Paul would be the crucial fourth Republican senator to support the resolution, marking a setback for the administration that would force Trump to use the first veto of his presidency.

 

The Senate is expected to vote on a resolution blocking Trump's emergency declaration before leaving town for a weeklong recess set to begin on March 15.

 

Supporters of the resolution left Washington last Thursday on the brink of having enough votes to block the declaration and force a Trump veto. With all 47 senators who caucus with Democrats expected to support the resolution, they need to flip four Republicans to clinch the 51 votes needed in the Senate.

 

GOP Sens. Susan Collins (Maine), Thom Tillis (N.C.) and Lisa Murkowski (Alaska) have already said they will vote for a resolution to block Trump's emergency declaration, which passed the House last week in a 245-182 vote, with 13 Republicans joining Democrats to support it.

 

Roughly a dozen other Republican senators remain on the fence about Trump's emergency declaration, meaning supporters could pick up several additional GOP "yes" votes before the resolution comes to the floor.

 

Sen. Lamar Alexander (R-Tenn.), who is retiring at the end of the current Congress, urged Trump to back down from his emergency declaration, which he warned was creating a "constitutional crisis." But Alexander declined to say how he would vote on a resolution blocking Trump's action.

“I learned a long time ago in the United States Senate it’s not wise to announce how you’re going to vote on a vote you may never have to take,” he added.

 

Trump has said he will "100 percent" veto the resolution of disapproval if it reaches his desk. He also appeared to warn Republican senators who are thinking about opposing him, arguing that supporting the resolution would be a "very dangerous thing."

 

“I really think that Republicans that vote against border security and the wall, I think you know, I’ve been OK at predicting things, I think they put themselves at great jeopardy,” he told Fox News’s Sean Hannity last week.

 

GOP aides predicted that the resolution would likely get a vote next week, with Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) setting up four nominations on the floor this week.

 

Trump announced that he would declare a national emergency the day after Congress passed a government funding bill that included $1.375 billion for physical barriers along the U.S.-Mexico border, well below the $5.7 billion that he requested. Collateralized loan obligations may look safe but they pose risks that are poorly appreciated

Financial markets have short memories. Of late, they’ve convinced themselves that collateralized loan obligations (CLOs) are much safer instruments than the collateralized debt obligations, or CDOs, on which they’re based and which helped precipitate the 2008 crisis. They’re wrong – and dangerously so.

 

Current CLOs outstanding globally total around $700 billion, with annual new issues of over $100 billion. That’s broadly comparable to subprime CDO volumes in 2008. Both Bank of England Governor Mark Carney and former Fed Chair Janet Yellen have warned about potential risks; regulators in Japan, where banks have been big CLO buyers, are particularly concerned.

 

The structure of CLOs is economically similar to CDOs. Each pools multiple loans to create synthetic, bond-like investments. Investors buy a slice (or tranche) of the underlying interest and principal cash flows of the portfolio. A defined order of which investors get repaid first and which bear the most losses allocates risk differentially.

 

High-risk CLO equity pieces, which are unrated, are first in line for losses and last for repayment. Less-risky subordinated or mezzanine pieces, typically rated anywhere between BBB and B, rank ahead of equity. Low-risk senior pieces, typically rated A or better, rank first for payments and only bear losses if the equity and subordinated pieces are completely wiped out.

 

CLOs, like CDOs, are designed to increase the leverage on a portfolio of debt. In other ways, CLOs are indeed set up to be safer. Rather than mortgages, subprime or otherwise, they repackage corporate loans, primarily leveraged loans, as well as consumer credit such as automobile loans. Investors in better-rated tranches have greater protection than they would have in CDOs, as higher levels of losses are required before they lose money.

An American citizen has been detained and tortured in Saudi Arabia, according to The New York Times.

 

The outlet reported Saturday that Walid Fitaihi, a doctor with citizenship in both Saudi Arabia and the U.S., has been held since November 2017, when he was apprehended along with roughly 200 other individuals in a so-called corruption crackdown. There has been no trial for Fitaihi, let alone any public charges against him.

 

A friend of the physician told the Times that Fitaihi had suffered an approximately hourlong torture session during which he was hit, blindfolded, stripped, bound and shocked with electricity.

 

Reacting to the news, Sen. Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) tweeted Saturday evening that he is “deeply troubled,” demanding Fitaihi’s release and recalling the murder of Washington Post journalist Jamal Khashoggi by Saudi agents.

 

The White House has made no statement on the matter of Fitaihi’s alleged captivity.

 

Last week, Reuters reported that President Donald Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner traveled to Saudi Arabia for a Tuesday meeting with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to discuss peace in the Middle East. A White House statement to Reuters on the conversation made no reference to Khashoggi, despite conclusions by U.S. intelligence that his killing was likely carried out at the behest of MBS himself.

 

Two days after Kushner’s meeting, Trump, who was in Hanoi, Vietnam, for summit talks with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, gave remarks doubting the dictator’s role in the death of American college student Otto Warmbier, again signaling his friendliness to despots like MBS.

Algerian President Bouteflika in Critical Condition in Geneva Hospital

 

Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika, who announced that he would seek a fifth term, sparking mass protests, is currently staying in a hospital in Geneva, and doctors cannot allow him to continue working, since he is in critical condition, Al Mayadeen broadcaster reported on Saturday, citing an unnamed medical source.

 

The broadcaster specified that 82-year-old Bouteflika, who has been ruling Algeria since 1999, was taken to the Geneva University Hospitals instead of the hospital where he regularly undergoes medical examination. Security has been reportedly strengthened on the hospital floor on which Bouteflika's ward is located.

 

"Bouteflika is in an intensive care unit, no one is allowed to visit him… Bouteflika is in critical condition, he is nearly unconscious. Treating doctors cannot give him a license authorizing him to continue working," the source said, as quoted by Al Mayadeen.

The Real Reason Why Globalists Are So Obsessed With Artificial Intelligence

 

It is nearly impossible to traverse web news or popular media today without being assaulted by vast amounts of propaganda on Artificial Intelligence (AI). It is perhaps the fad to end all fads as it supposedly encompasses almost every aspect of human existence, from economics and security to philosophy and art. According to mainstream claims, AI can do almost everything and do it better than any human being. And, the things AI can't do, it WILL be able to do eventually.

 

Whenever the establishment attempts to saturate the media with a particular narrative, it is usually with the intent to manipulate public perception in a way that produces self fulfilling prophecy. In other words, they hope to shape reality by telling a particular lie so often it becomes accepted by the masses over time as fact. They do this with the idea of globalism as inevitable, with the junk science of climate change as “undeniable” and they do it with AI as a technological necessity.

 

The globalists have long held AI as a kind of holy grail in centralization technology. The United Nations has adopted numerous positions and even summits on the issue, including the “AI For Good” summit in Geneva. The UN insinuates that it's primary interest in AI is in regulation or observation of how it is exploited, but the UN also has clear goals to use AI to its advantage. The use of AI as a means to monitor mass data to better institute “sustainable development” is written clearly in the UN's agenda.

 

The IMF is also in on the AI trend, holding global discussions on the uses of AI in economics as well as the effects of algorithms on economic analysis.

 

The main source for the development of AI has long been DARPA. The military and globalist think tank dumps billions of dollars into the technology, making AI the underlying focus of most of DARPA's work. AI is not only on the globalist's radar; they are essentially spearheading the creation and promotion of it.

 

The globalist desire for the technology is not as simple as some might assume, however. They have strategic reasons, but also religious reasons for placing AI on an ideological pedestal.But first I suppose we should tackle the obvious.

 

In most white papers written by globalist institutions on AI, the thrust centers on mass data collection and surveillance. The elites are careful to always assert that their interests focus on the public good. This is why the UN and other agencies argue that they should be the leaders in oversight of mass data collection. That is to say, they want us to believe that they are objective and trustworthy enough to manage rules for data surveillance, or, to manage the data itself.

 

For the safety of the public, the globalists want centralized management of all data collection, ostensibly to save us from those evil corporations and their invasion of data privacy. Of course, most of those corporations are also run by globalists that fill the guest books of events like the World Economic Forum to discuss the advancements and advantages of AI. The WEF has made it a mandate that AI be promoted widely and that the business world and the general public be convinced of AI's advantages. Bias against AI must be prevented…

 

So, what we have here is yet another false paradigm in which globalist institutions are opposed to corporations in terms of how AI is used. Yet, globalist corporations and globalist institutions both develop AI as well as pro-AI sentiment. The public, with its innate distrust of corporate moral compass, is supposed to be convinced to support UN regulatory reforms as a counterbalance. But in reality, corporate powers have no intention of fighting against UN control, they will ultimately welcome it.

 

This was the goal all along.

Rand Paul Says He'll Vote Against Trump's Border Emergency, Likely Forcing A Veto

 

Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky says he'll vote in favor of a resolution to terminate President Trump's national emergency declaration with regards to the U.S.-Mexico border. Paul's support means the resolution will likely pass the Senate with bipartisan support and could force the president to issue his first veto.

 

Paul's announcement, coming from an-otherwise close ally of the president, lays bare the discomfort many Republicans have had with the emergency declaration.

 

"I can't vote to give extra-Constitutional powers to the president," Paul told Republican supporters and lawmakers at a dinner at Western Kentucky University on Saturday, The Bowling Green Daily News reports.

 

On Tuesday, the Democratic-controlled House voted 245-182 to approve the resolution. Only 13 Republicans joined Democrats to end Trump's emergency declaration.

 

The Senate is expect to vote later this month on the House resolution. Paul joins three Senate Republicans — Susan Collins of Maine, Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, and Thom Tillis of North Carolina — who have already said they will vote with Democrats in opposition to the president's actions. With Republicans holding just 53 Senate seats, those defections mean the resolution will likely pass.

Trump has previously said that he would veto the measure.

 

"I support what the president wants to do on border security, but not the way he has been advised to do it," Paul said in a statement. "There has never been an instance where a president has asked for funding, Congress refused it, and the president then used the National Emergencies Act to justify spending the money anyway."

Trump made the declaration in February to free up billions of dollars in funding for border wall construction, after Congress allocated just a fraction of what he had asked for. Paul said that action could set a precedent for future presidents to use a national emergency to tear the wall down or declare a "climate change emergency" to stop oil exports and offshore drilling.

 

Under the National Emergencies Act of 1976, the Senate is required to fast-track the resolution and cannot filibuster the vote. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., told reporters on Tuesday that he expects the Senate will vote before March 18.

 

Other Senators have expressed reservations about the national emergency declaration but haven't said how they'll vote, including Sen. Lamar Alexander, R-Tenn., and Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas. More Republicans may be willing to come out against the emergency declaration now that the balance of votes has already tipped against the president.

We need to reinstate our Constitution. The gov't we have now does not even resemble what was intended. Our current system is well beyond repair. Federal court, some cases are civil, not criminal.

 

Adding up all the sealed indictments is nonsense. According to the report cited by the sealed indictment counting team, some districts have ALL indictments sealed when filed, as a matter of course. Most are unsealed within a week of arrest, and arrest is usually within a month of filing the indictment.

Walid Fitaihi, best-known for the television show Mahyay, was moved from Riyadh's Ritz-Carlton hotel, which was being used to hold many of the high-profile prisoners detained in the round-up, to al-Hair prison south of the capital, according to Saudi activists.

 

Fitaihi, a doctor who graduated from George Washington University, was first placed on a no-fly list in October before he was detained at the hotel in November, according to activist-led Twitter account Prisoners of Conscience.

 

The luxury hotel had been used as an interrogation centre, with some detainees being tortured for information on their bank accounts and assets, Middle East Eye has reported.

 

Fitaihi was among dozens of princes, scholars and businessmen rounded up in the sweeping purge, which the kingdom has painted as a necessary step towards realising economic reforms. Many of those detained were released in recent days.

 

"There are no longer any detainees left at the Ritz-Carlton," an official told Reuters on Tuesday, speaking on condition of anonymity under briefing rules.

 

The state news agency, SPA, quoting the attorney general, later said that 56 remain in detention at other locations in Saudi Arabia.

 

Fitaihi's popular TV show Mahyay is dedicated to conversations around keeping the mind, body and soul healthy. He is also known for his reformist activism and has two million Twitter followers.

 

Fitaihi also founded and is the CEO of the International Medical Centre (IMC), a hospital in Jeddah. The Fitaihi family is also known for several businesses in the silver and gold trade.

 

Social media users reacted strongly to the news of Fitaihi's continued detention. Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi wrote on Twitter: "What has happened to us? How can someone like Dr Walid Fitahi be arrested and what are the justifications for it?

 

"Of course everyone is in a state of confusion and helplessness, there is no one you can go to, no public prosecutor has questioned. God help us."

 

Under the auspices of an anti-corruption committee, led by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, prominent Saudi princes and businessmen were detained and held in the lavish hotel in Riyadh in November.

 

Among those held were Prince Mitaib bin Abdullah, previous head of the Saudi Arabian National Guard, billionaire tycoon al-Waleed bin Talal, who has now been released, Abdullah al-Sultan, commander of the Saudi navy, and Khalid al-Mulheim, the former director general of Saudi Arabian Airlines.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Opponents of President Donald Trump's declaration of a national emergency at the U.S.-Mexico border appear to have enough Senate votes to reject his move, now that Republican Rand Paul of Kentucky has said he can't go along with the White House.

 

The House has voted to derail the action, and if the Senate follows later this month, the measure would go to Trump for his promised veto.

I think it's been established that (a) not all records counted in this "sealed" category are indictments, (b) not all sealed indictments relate to USA vs deep state … but (c) the sheer number of sealed documents is an order of magnitude higher than the normal levels before 2017. From (c) I infer the vast bulk of sealed records DO relate to the fight against the deep state. And from Q's latest drop, I speculate that some of these sealed documents in the fight against the deep state take some form other than USA v [ ].

 

I don't have the law background to know under what conditions a record can be sealed in a manner that adds to this count in PACER. If any lawfags know, can you elaborate on this point?
