I think Emmanuel Macron set the kids on fire in the tunnels under Notre Dame Cathedral as a βcountermeasureβ to destroy evidence. Maybe he just set the tunnels on fire, and let the kids burn as a bonus. Eventually, the fire broke loose from the tunnels, and became visible above ground.
