Nobody in the last bread had the knowledge you do of EU politics when this story was posted. But the timing is so suspicious, less than a week before the EU elections. It would be helpful if you could add to that notable cluster another post with moar background info for Americans on the circumstances surrounding the whole situation, that would be helpful. Getting English-language coverage of EU politics is hard; anything not far left is called far right, which I'm sure you know. I went searching for an unbiased article and the Reuters was the closest I could find. Could only go so far, I was baking, too.
