Former fox News reporter Courtney Friel, currently working CW affiliate KTLA-TV in Los Angeles, claims in her upcoming memoir that US President Donald Trump invited her to come up to his office in the Trump Tower for a kiss, according to The New York Daily News.

 

In the forthcoming book, which The New York Daily News reportedly obtained a copy, Friel wrote that Trump phoned her at her office weeks after she revealed an interest in working as a judge in his Miss USA beauty pageant, and then told her that in his opinion she was “the hottest one at Fox News”.

 

“Though he said I couldn’t be a judge since I worked at a different network, he did ask me about my career goals and complimented my work at FNC. Then, out of nowhere, he said: ‘You should come up to my office sometime, so we can kiss,’” the journalist reportedly wrote in her book.

 

In the book, Friel reportedly said that she was “shocked” by the proposition from the now president of the United States, and responded to him by saying: “I believe we’re both married. I quickly ended the call.”

Great White shark ‘kicked to death by group so they could take selfies’

 

A Great White shark that died after washing ashore in New Zealand had been caught on purpose and kicked to death, a witness has claimed. Video emerged of concerned onlookers and a lifeguard attempting to help the shark back into the sea at Orewa Beach, Auckland, after it beached in shallow water on Thursday. But the shark could not be rescued and washed up on shore again a short time later where it was confirmed dead. A witness is now claiming the shark was purposefully pulled from the water by a group of men who posed for selfies as the animal lay dying. The anonymous source told New Zealand news site Stuff the men ‘repeatedly’ kicked the shark in the jaw and took photos while laughing. When horrified beachgoers tried to intervene, the group became ‘exceptionally intimidating’, the news site reported.

 

The witness said: ‘Police and (the Department of Conservation) arrived on the scene as other beachgoers attempted to pull the shark back into the water. ‘The group of men gave false details to police and joined the larger group.’ A police spokesman confirmed they had received reports the animal had been dragged onto the beach and repeatedly kicked. It’s believed a gill net, commonly used in commercial fishing, was used to catch the Great White. The Department of Conservation told Stuff it was looking into the circumstances of the death but was ‘not able to provide any further information at this time’. Great white sharks are listed as ‘vulnerable’ globally by the International Union for Conservation of Nature and are fully protected in New Zealand waters. If caught, offenders face fines of up to $250,000 (around £128,000) and six months imprisonment.

Nobel Prize-winning scientist retracts paper, saying results were not 'reproducible'

 

Frances Arnold, an American scientist and winner of the Nobel Prize in chemistry, retracted a paper published last year after admitting to faulty research.

Arnold's paper on enzymatic synthesis of beta-lactams was published in May 2019 in the Science journal.

The award-winning scientist said in a series of tweets Thursday that the work had not been "reproducible" and that she had been "very busy" when the paper was submitted. Arnold added she "did not do my job well."

"Careful examination of the first author's lab notebook then revealed missing contemporaneous entries and raw data for key experiments. The authors are therefore retracting the paper."

Arnold works as a chemical engineer at the California Institute of Technology and won the Nobel Prize in chemistry with two other scientists for their work on the evolution of enzymes.

The film she is thinking of is likely 1985’s The Man With One Red Shoe.

An extremely absurd and nonsensical theory claims that some red shoes, often worn by celebrities, are made of the skin of children eaten by their wearers.

 

Claims of Hanks being a pedophile first cropped up more than two years ago, after a woman accused the 63-year-old actor of sexually abusing her as a child. The claim remains unverified and has yet to change most people’s minds about the extremely likable Hanks.

Despite QAnon’s consistently false claims, supporters of the movement rely on the rare “accurate” prediction to explain their continued support. One supposed one centers around Iran. 6 killed in airstrike north of Baghdad targeting convoy carrying Shia militia members – report

 

A convoy carrying members of Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF), an umbrella group of Iran-backed militias, was hit by an airstrike while traveling in Baghdad, media reports say. The PMF said that medics were in the cars.

 

The three-car convoy was struck in the northern outskirts of the Iraqi capital in the district of al-Taji, according to an Iraqi military source cited by Reuters. Six militiamen were reported killed in the attack, with three others critically injured. It remains unclear who carried out the strike.

Instead of senior leaders, the convoy contained medics, the group said.

The bombing comes on the heels of a US air raid near the Baghdad International Airport late on Thursday night, which killed Iran’s powerful Quds Force commander Qassem Soleimani and several top officials in the PMF. The assassination of Iran’s elite Quds Force commander Qassem Soleimani in Baghdad has sparked an angry reaction among Shia Muslims – and India’s own community was no exception, taking to the streets to decry the US move.

 

The Quds Force chief was killed in a US airstrike alongside several other Iranian and Iraqi military commanders on the outskirts of the Iraqi capital on Thursday. While Washington – and Tel Aviv – claimed the killing to be “defensive” in nature, it caused an explosive reaction across Iraq and Iran, with thousands strongly condemning the attack.

 

The assassination sparked protests in other countries as well, especially in those with sizeable Shia Muslim populations. A handful of rallies were held in the Indian-controlled part of the disputed Kashmir region, where locals flocked to the streets to voice their anger over the murder.

 

Hundreds of protesters also marched in the northern Indian town of Budgam, carrying portraits of Soleimani and chanting anti-American and anti-Israeli slogans.

Despite the fact that Soleimani’s death will save American lives, Sen. Cory Booker said on MSNBC it is Trump who is “making the world less of a safe place.” Within an hour of the news of Soleimani’s death on Thursday, Booker appeared on CNN asserting that Trump, “has had really a failure in his Iranian policy.”

Although it was President Obama who shipped $150 billion in cash to Iran, emboldening terrorists like Soleimani, Booker is convinced that under the Trump administration, “Iran has become more influential and more dangerous.”

Democratic presdiential candidate Pete Buttigieg, the former mayor of South Bend, Indiana, released a statement bemoaning the “serious questions about how this decision was made.”

From the sound of Buttigieg’s promise to “ask the hard questions” as president, it seems as if he might have bypassed killing Soleimani given the chance, thus allowing the potential deaths of more Americans at Soleimani’s hands.

Additionally, Buttigieg insinuates that Trump’s decision without congressional authority was unlawful. This is false. As David French pointed out on Twitter, because American troops are lawfully in Iraq, the airstrike was duly authorized, justified, and in no need of congressional authorization.

Democratic presidential candidates and Sens. Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders also bypassed this opportunity to praise Trump for the successful take-out of the world’s most dangerous terrorist, and instead focused only on ginning up concern that Trump has started World War III in Iran.

In a tweet, Warren wailed, “Now he’s assassinated a senior foreign military official,” as if this was the assignation of Archduke Franz Ferdinand, and not of a terrorist who was actively targeting the United States and has himself authorized an act of war against the United States in supporting the attack on a U.S. embassy.

Sanders opted to ignore the news of the drone strike completely, and to instead talk about his past anti-war protests and to assure his supporters he would prevent the non-existent war in Iran.

Biden says Trump owes Americans a “strategy and plan to keep safe our troops and embassy personnel.” This is odd considering the killing of Soleimani will quite literally save the lives of troops and Americans in the embassies Soleimani had planned attacks on. In comparison, the Obama-Biden administration responded to attacks on a U.S. embassy and the death of a U.S. ambassador by lying about what had happened and arresting a YouTuber who after imprisonment ended up in a homeless shelter for exercising his free speech.

Another 2020 Democrat candidate, Sen. Amy Klobuchar, falsely claimed Trump had acted without congressional authority.

POTUS' end-game with Iran is (IMHO) to destroy the regime's will & ability to export terror. The steps so far, taken in Iraq, have been to decapitate Iran's leadership of its outside forces.

 

POTUS' Dec 31st tweet was the signal to prepare. And it likely was aimed (in part) specifically at the people of Iran. POTUS is informing them that these upcoming days the U.S. will be giving them the opportunity to take control of their own destinies.

 

But it is up to them, their choice. And the U.S. will continue with the process of defanging Iran of its terrorist leadership with or without a popular uprising against the Ayatollahs.

So, while we are being kept busy looking elsewhere, the churches and state dept are still boating over so called "refugees" to our shores and settling them around the country at our expense as usual. When will this shit stop. We don't need more people who are culturally incompatible with us - particular those from the middle east who are stealth taking over our cities - like Dearborn and Hamtramack Michigan and god only knows where else. Now we have the RHINO governors from several states all standing on their heads to get these illegals settled into their states - did they bother to ask the people of those states? If your state is on this list, you might want to have a few words with your governor about this shit.
