Twitter: Free Speech for thee (Elon Musk) but not for we (Qanon Patriots)

 

Twitter has said that tweets posted early Tuesday morning by Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk that irresponsibly call for restrictions put in place to defend against the spread of COVID-19 don’t violate its guidelines around inaccurate or disputed information about the coronavirus that could cause harm. Musk tweeted a series of things on Tuesday, including an endorsement of a controversial Wall Street Journal op-ed with the caption “Give people their freedom back!”

 

A Twitter spokesperson told TechCrunch that these tweets, which also include an urging to “FREE AMERICA NOW,” are “not currently in violation of the Twitter rules. According to the company, it has said previously that it’s not enforcing punitive or corrective action on each instance of tweets about COVID-19 that don’t provide a full picture or that appear to contain info that’s disputed by other sources.

 

Twitter says that it has removed over 2,400 Tweets since March 18 when it implemented its new policy, and that its automated filtering systems have addressed in some way or another as many as 3.4 million accounts which seemed to be spamming or providing manipulative info regarding COVID-19 discussions. Thus far, however, some of the most influential sources of have not been subject to punitive or corrective action under the policy.

 

President Trump’s tweets calling to “liberate” states, for instance, which bear a content and formatting similarity to the new tweets by Musk, have not been removed or disputed by the social network, and Twitter provided a similar statement about those missives not currently violating its rules.

 

Trump and Musk represent some of the most influential Twitter users, with 78.9 million and 33.3 minion users respectively, so their voices have outweighed impact on the community and public discourse relative to spam or automated misinformation accounts. In both cases, these messages indirectly seek to encourage the curtailing or disruption of social distancing, isolation and quarantine measures, even as the U.S. surged past 1 million diagnosed cases this week, with many more likely undiagnosed and therefore unaccounted for in the total.

 

States are already beginning to ease restrictions, and seeing resurgences in case numbers. Some more rural states that previously seemed less impacted are seeing spikes, even as they began to partially reopen, including Iowa. Leading experts including Dr. Anthony Fauci of the U.S. federal coronavirus task force have warned against the consequences of relaxing rules too soon, and the WHO and CDC are still warning of the impact of opening up too soon as well.

Covance must have been a company worth buying. Why buy it otherwise? Surely, Covance had qualified employees who brought the company to a position worthy of acquisition by LabCorp.

By Claire Jiao, Siegfrid Alegado and Ann Koh (Bloomberg) — Port restrictions and canceled flights are straining the ability to replace seafarers on board ships, further weakening global supply chains already snarled by the coronavirus pandemic.

 

Hubs like Singapore and Shanghai have halted most crew transfers, while global lockdowns have complicated travel from the Philippines, which supplies about a quarter of the world’s seafarers.

 

At risk is the flow of goods like food, medicine and energy via commercial shipping, which accounts for about 80% of global trade. While unseen by most consumers, restrictions on crews are among the unprecedented challenges wrought by the virus, which has ground major economies to a halt.

 

“Most ports have stopped crew changes as part of a concerted effort to prevent the spread of the virus,” Philippine Transmarine Carriers Inc. Chief Executive Officer Gerardo Borromeo said. “Our problem is trying to solve a complex logistics issue of getting crew onto limited flights to countries that will allow such changes at their ports.”

 

About 100,000 seafarers each month need to be changed over from ships to comply with maritime rules that regulate safe working hours and crew welfare, according to a March 19 letter from the International Chamber of Shipping. If changeover restrictions continue there could be fewer available ships and higher freight costs, said Dario Alampay, chairman of the Filipino Shipowners Association.

 

Countries and ports should consider exemptions for seafarers similar to those granted to airline and health workers, according to the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development. Essential medicine and equipment is already being held up in several ports in Europe, it said.

 

“You do not want to risk working with a fatigued, overworked crew,” said Alampay. Exhausted seafarers are more prone to distress and lack of focus, which can lead to accidents, he said. The longest seafarers should be on board a ship is 11 months, according to the Maritime Labor Convention.

 

The Philippines has about 300,000 seafarers for cargo ships and roughly 200,000 of those are currently out at sea and the rest are onshore, according to an estimate from Doris Magsaysay-Ho, president of A. Magsaysay Inc., a Manila-based shipping and manning company.

 

Industry and government should work together this month to establish protocols that include temperature checks and 14-day quarantines for crew changes, said Borromeo. This will likely increase shipowners’ costs, he said.

 

Another option is for shipowners to drop off and pick up crews in Manila. Some foreign ship owners are already looking at this option, according to Alampay, who said deviating on a route that runs from Japan or Singapore to Australia to change a crew in Manila could add an extra three days and drive up costs by as much as $15,000 a day for a Supramax vessel.

 

Luis, a seafarer who asked only that he be identified by his first name, was supposed to disembark at Egypt’s Suez port last month from a vessel he’s been on for more than nine months. Travel restrictions in Egypt prevented him from leaving and management has told him all crew changes are suspended until mid-April, although that’s subject to change.

 

Typical rotations on cargo vessels last between 3 and 9 months and seafarers often work 12-hour days, six days a week.

 

“The risk of being too long on a ship is mental and physical stress,” Luis said in a message. “I’m worried about my family, and when I can go home. I’m worried if I can go home safely. I’m really tired, but I have no choice.”

 

In China, substitution of maritime crews is limited in some ports and forbidden in others, according to a list of restrictions from marine insurer The North of England Protecting & Indemnity Association Ltd. Singapore has disallowed crew changes for the time being, though it has recently allowed some exemptions.

 

Abu Dhabi had prohibited crew changes for three months. The United Arab Emirates, of which Abu Dhabi is the capital, said on April 5 that it will begin gradually easing some restrictions on crew changes, including letting seafarers who are local residents or who are ill leave their ships.

 

The 80% of global trade transported by commercial shipping include food, energy and raw materials, as well as manufactured goods and components, according to UNCTAD.

 

Volumes at port operator International Container Terminal Services Inc., which has terminals in nearly 20 countries, likely fell 10% to 15% last month and are expected to decline further in April, Chairman Enrique Razon said Tuesday. Terminals in Latin America are the hardest-hit, while those in Australia and Africa are holding steady, he said.

Why do you think that Mueller is Deep State?

 

Everyone seems to be on the Mueller hate train right now over the Flynn investigation stuff because they haven't actually read the report and think that the Flynn related stuff in the report was to hurt him. Once the Mueller report info (specifically the testimony from the transition team) is used to help exonerate Flynn, then maybe your confirmation bias will be lessened enough to consider these facts about Mueller and his report:

 

  1. If Mueller was Deep State, he would have lied in the report saying that POTUS was guilty of colluding with Russia. The Deep State lied about everything else. They gave information to FISC claiming, under penalty of perjury, that all of the information was accurate, verified, and no exculpatory evidence was left out. They even doctored communications from the Intelligence Community and submitted it to the court. Now we are seeing they also lied about Flynn and set him up. Why would Mueller not only EXONERATE Trump, but also go so far as to say that the campaign actually rebuffed offers from Russians? These facts aren't consistent with the opinion that Mueller is Deep State.

 

  1. The Mueller Report provides Barr and Durham with probable cause to investigate EVERYONE INVOLVED with the entire thing. The fact that the report concluded that there was no evidence is all they need since the evidence used to get the FISA warrants was UNVERIFIABLE proving that the warrants were obtained illegally.

 

  1. Did you know that both the left and right wing media were originally vehemently opposed to Mueller's appointment? The left didn't get on board until Mueller appointed I believe the 3rd Deep State attorney. Do you really think that Flynn is the only one who set up the Deep State? Mueller gave the DS attorneys enough rope to hang themselves and they'll hang. Just watch.

 

  1. Mueller basically told everyone that POTUS appointed him as the special counsel with RR. https://youtu.be/qp5jiwSSnrQ?t=234 Let me explain Executive Privilege to you guys. All information discussed with POTUS is privileged. If they discuss toe cheese, it's privileged. Mueller was told he was allowed to answer certain questions by POTUS. Watch: he answers "yes", or "no" to the first three questions and then when asked if he talked about the special counsel with POTUS and RR, he answers "I can't get into discussions on that". Huh. Not to mention, the Q drop today showed that they were trying to leverage dirt on RR. Why would they need to blackmail him if he was DS?

 

  1. Trump actually discussed extending the Mueller Investigation at one point. Why would he do that? Maybe it was a joke but maybe he was also serious.

 

So why exactly do people think that Mueller is DS? What actions did he take that benefited the DS? All I see is him exonerating Trump, and providing an avenue to investigate the investigators given that the Mueller Report stated that there was no evidence of collusion at all meaning the investigation was started illegally since they weren't able to verify the "evidence" that was used to get the FISA warrants. I've seen people talking about how Mueller was involved in Uranium One, but I dug on that and couldn't find jack shit and I'm willing to bet none of you can prove it but if anyone has info, I'd love to see it. Even so, the prior facts about the outcomes of the report are still undeniable.

 

I welcome the ad hominem since that's all I'm going to get because this place is basically fuckbook now. I'm a connoisseur of irony and I personally think it's hilarious how many of you haven't realized that you and liberals are opposite sides of the same coin. You just listen to Fox News as opposed to CNN and then refuse to be open minded when presented with factual information that challenges your narrative. How do you explain my first point? The other stuff might as well be fluff (the 4th is pretty good too), the first point is all anyone needs to question the narrative that Mueller is DS. The Right Wing Media wants you to lose faith in the government, they cry about "nothing happening" and the new strategy of attacking Trump appointees like Wray. Saudia Arabia Takes 8.2 Percent Stake in Carnival Corporation

Shares of Carnival Corporation (NYSE: CCL) shot up more than 20% on Monday after it was revealed that Saudi Arabia’s public investment fund has taken a more than 8% stake in the world’s largest cruise ship operator.

 

A stock filing issued by Carnival on Monday showed The Public Investment Fund purchased 43,508,895 shares of Carnival Corporation common stock representing 8.2% of Carnival’s outstanding shares as of March 25, 2020. The Public Investment Fund is the sovereign wealth fund of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

 

Carnival’s stock closed Monday up a little more than 20% at $10.21 following the announcement.

 

SEC Filing

 

An SEC filing last Friday described dire straits for Carnival Corporation, which has suspended global sailings for the first time in company history amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Shares of CCL stock have fallen more than 80% since the beginning of the year.

“As I wrote Mr. Ben Gurion, this government’s commitment to and support of Israel could be seriously jeopardized if it should be thought that we were unable to obtain reliable information on a subject as vital to peace as Israel’s effort in the nuclear field,” the telegram said.

 

The telegram was declassified in the 1990s but was not widely available until last week when the National Security Archives, a project affiliated with George Washington University, posted it on its website.

 

Kennedy who was otherwise close to Israel was furious with its ostensible nuclear weapons program, fearing that the Soviet Union could use it as leverage to maintain its influence in the Middle East.

 

Eshkol, caught off guard by the tone of the telegram, took seven weeks to assent, and the twice-yearly inspections continued until 1969 when President Richard Nixon ended them.

 

Also revealed in the trove of documents the NSA posted is the origin of Israel’s oft-repeated credo that it would not be the first to introduce nuclear weapons — a deliberately ambiguous statement that left Israel room to develop the weapons, but not arm them.

 

Shimon Peres, then the deputy defense minister who later would lead the country as prime minister for two stints and then become president, improvised the statement when he was surprised by Kennedy during a meeting Peres had scheduled with Kennedy’s adviser, Myer Feldman, who also functioned as the administration’s liaison to Israel and the U.S. Jewish community. Unbeknownst to Peres, Kennedy and Feldman had planned the “surprise” encounter.

 

According to a Hebrew-language Foreign Ministry of Israel account of the April 2 meeting, Kennedy asked Peres into the Oval Office for 30 minutes and questioned him on Israel’s nuclear capacity.

 

“You know that we follow very closely the discovery of any nuclear development in the region,” Kennedy said. “This could create a very dangerous situation. For this reason, we monitor your nuclear effort. What could you tell me about this?”

 

Peres improvised, “I can tell you most clearly that we will not introduce nuclear weapons to the region, and certainly we will not be the first.”

The whole point of the creation of nuclear weapons under the Manhattan Project was to destroy the “evil” Nazis who threatened the Rothschild economic stranglehold over Europe. Luckily for all Europeans, the Germans were defeated before the Jews could get their hands on any nukes, because Germany was the primary target for “the bomb”, not Japan, which had been making diplomatic overtures of surrender in early 1945.. So it was only natural that the Jews were going to arm their new State of Israel, just as they armed their co-ethnics in Soviet Russia, with nukes to keep the rest of the world in line.

 

The ever-naive Kennedy actually believed that he could tell the Jews that they would never have nuclear weapons as long as he was President. And despite his suspicions, he had no choice but to hire Myron Feldman, who acted as an Israeli spy in the White House, betraying JFK’s confidence to the Israelis. He should have known that the Jews would never accept a situation where they could not only defend themselves, but also threaten to destroy the entire planet if anyone seriously threatened the Jews, and that included their American “allies”, as the Kennedy family discovered not just once, but a number of times. And so this article serves as a “subtle” reminder to any world leaders today not the mess with Israel.

Contreras was 1 of 4 FISC Judges at the time the surveillance was happening

Strzok /Page text prove Contreras was named to be part of dinner party for the purpose of furthering the surveillance

Contreras recused after the guilty plea was entered

Days after Contreras recused, Strzok/ Page Text messages were released to public showing him as being the target of manipulation by Strzok/Page

Results show FISC corrupted by documents submitted by legal counsel

Fraud Upon The Court requires Officer of the Court to submit false documents knowingly .

Fraud upon the Court includes for not withdrawing false documents once they find out they had been altered or falsified

Contreras might have been a straight shooter as Strzok and Page say but he was comped whether that dinner took place or not.

The appearance of Fraud upon the Court is equal to FUTC!

Contreras recused without explanation to the public. Sullivan took over.

Sullivan had a duty to void the guilty plea and start over if the recusal was based on Fraud Upon the Court.

Contreras didn't cite that as a reason. He didn't give a reason

Sullivan cannot move forward with Contreras results from his hearing.

Right now, Sullivan is on the hook for FUTC rulings after the knowledge it occurred and he continued to rule.

By law, the guilty plea in Contreras Court is void.

If Judge rules after knowing FUTC happened , they lose their Judicial immunity and can face criminal prosecution.

Sullivan's job was to void Contreras involvement in this situation because of FUTC and start over.

Sullivan didn't do that. He instead made every excuse in the book to not Flynn. He kicked the can down the road every time while putting extreme pressure on Flynn to respond to common knowledge he was coerced.

If Sullivan rules in this case, he forgoes his Judicial Immunity because he is ruling on a case where FUTC has been proven. He chose not to void Contreras and continue on based on that hearing so he owns the punishemnt for it.
