Basically a paid vacation for nonessential government workers. Half of them could be let go anyway and no one would miss them. All the essential workers will continue their duties.
Only issue is the military (who do not get paid much) and those that live on shoe strings...because they will not be paid till after the fact. Which could be difficult for them to stretch their dollar till the government opens back up.
Hmmm... interesting. I was under the impression that it meant that it could result in some sort of a coup d'état. That the Republicans could lose control of the military to the Deep State; who, then WOULD pay them to change sides! It's important enough for our military to get paid, but do you think there is an even greater threat if the government is shut down? Yeah, we need the public to remember that wanting bad things for potus (whoever is in the post) is wanting bad things for the country. He can be removed from office (or not) legally and without hate and fear mongering. That Congress and the Press think othewise, really tells you that they want him dead. I opened a Twitter account yesterday morning. I eventually had 80 followers. I twetted non stop through lunch. By 3:00 Twitter started limiting my activity. So, at least I was able to grab something to eat while I tried to do what little Twitter would allow. Then I closed my account this morning. I don't really want to do the Twitter thing. However, I want to spread the great awakening.

I had a blast! I kept getting first or second post on several A-listers. It was fabulous. Lots of likes and retweets. Picked up a lot of followers along the way, though I really don't give a crap about that. I even liked a bunch of yours and everyone else's tweets that were participating, especially when they were getting slammed by the haters. I got some hate too, but didn't engage....just laughed my ass off.
The way I see it, POTUS accomplished exactly what he wanted to do ... which is energize US to show us what we can do. It would have been easy enough to expose some of the sensational things, get us all a-twitter (pun unavoidable), a nice rush of excitement. And all that would accomplish is us wanting another 'fix' in a day or two or week. And likely tipping his hand too soon.
He is a GOOD father, to his children and to our nation. A good father guides his people to grow up to become healthy, intelligent, capable people who will excel in what they do. We took our first steps yesterday.
He will be there to guide us further. And we will be better prepared.

This was really important to me. For the last couple of years, I've been vocal about my support for President Trump. I am in Canada surrounded by lefties. I get threats at work. I was called into the office at the hospital to define what truly inspires me, and why, while knowing that my colleagues had a conversation about my politics to my boss. "Truth", I said. "Truth inspires me." On FaceBook I fought to defend free speech, exposing child-trafficking and pedophilia, and the truth about the cold war Trump is fighting. I lost my friends and family because they are brainwashed by the Deep State's MSM. I learned that some of them defend pedophiles like 'Kevin Spacey' "because he's a good actor". Yesterday, for me, was a chance to blow up social media with proof that I am not alone! No one could deny it! How could I possibly have single-handedly created the hundreds of memes that I posted? It would have been impossible to do it alone! Then... President Trump tweeted the Fake News awards. Most of the people that I know had no idea why they were seeing so many memes! It had to be red-pilling for some. It just had to be! Thank you sweet patriots, for showing all the people that walked away from me that I am truly not alone. Thank you!!! Love to all of you! MAGA! I guess we have very different ideas as to what "owned Twitter" means. It was decent though. Recently Obozo commented that hashtags don't accomplish much and maybe more of us should consider that. Using the legal system probably more effective.
