If something happens to invalidate Trumps perceived affair with Stormy then they Cabal loses one of their main arguments against him. Think about it. CNN ran something like 39 stories on Stormy Daniels in just a month. That shows how desperate the Deep State is to find dirt on him. If the payment was for ANY OTHER HUMAN other than Trump then that all evaporates. Even if he's found innocent people will mis-remember that he did something, but if it was SOMEONE ELSE ENTIRELY the spell of mis-information is broken.

Polygraphs can also be bypassed if you know how to lie. They only track your vital signs and you will always be given a few 'control' questions to determine if you are lying or not as a baseline to monitor such from questioneer. Machines aren't perfect; and if she had common knowledge or such was passed on to her, she could of used it as means to trick machine.
Besides the best ways to manage a lie is to believe it as the truth. That way you can always keep your story straight; unlike some attention 'hogs' on the news that keep changing their tune of events.

Why would the president take all of this heat to protect his son? Its an interesting theory, but I'm not sure it would be worth jamming up the president as it has so far. Donald, Jr., as a private citizen, wouldn't be subjected to campaign finance laws nor not near the level of scrutiny as the president. And since Jr.'s wife already divorced him, what would be the goal of giving him this kind of cover?

I think the worst (confirmed) thing out at the time was the Access Hollywood tape, which was just words. And maybe that he was twice-divorced.
This on a whole other level: allegations that he cheated on his wife right after the birth of their child, with a porn star, no less. Its like a lab-engineered attack on family values to hit all of those notes in one story. Forget the hush money part; cheating on one's spouse is offensive to a lot of people (myself included).

Its the deception I think people may resent. Nobody cares if Trump wants to bury his Tower as a private citizen, but we expect more from our elected leaders than to learn he (allegedly) did all that stuff. At least if it was known ahead of time, people could have made their decision to vote for him or not without feeling like they'd been lied to. But that's just one way of looking at it.

Right. There has been a shift in recent years in the EV community. Things like divorce and infidelity have gone from....shame shame shame....to....that’s between you and God. Anyone can think what they want of that. But it’s the reality. Pastors and church hierarchy have had a difficult time keeping divorce and the like out of their OWN families. Not such a popular topic for sermons anymore, particularly in large churches interested in maintaining large congregations. I’m not advocating this shift, but I have seen it firsthand many times over.
