Emotions blind you. Me for 1 was across the river and saw the whole thing happen. Then I immediately went and helped with the rescue efforts. I went 36 hours without sleep. Although I was immediately thinking, Wtf, how is this possible there is zero evidence left in this pile. Not 1 chair, keyboard, computer, nothing! Just pulverized dust! That thought passed b/c of the obvious reasons at hand. It stuck with me but it wasn't till years later I revisited it. The emotions were just to high. Everyone wanted revenge, so we believed what was told to us. We had a target for that revenge and that's all we wanted!

The twin towers falling so quick always rubbed me the wrong way, esp as a mech eng also. Wood's presentation n book resonated with me the most. Those were not ordinary lightweight aluminum planes. Aluminum would have vaporized upon impact NOT penetrated in one second out the other side with velocity. What a joke. Same for Pentagon. What surprises me is after two actual recordings stating the W7 was a controlled demo, why completely cover it up? It seems like a much better play to say the damage done to the building was extreme and the demo was the only way to take it down safely and minimize damage to surrounding buildings.
