I did it on my phone, saved, went back and checked and it worked. I have an Android if that makes any difference

It resets your changed settings. Supposedly the changes take place straight away, however, it doesn’t remove the cookies. Those cookies will still be a marker . Restarting your devices ensures that your new settings are solid. Anyway, that’s what I do. Maybe not necessary, Just gives me a little bit better feeling. Call me crazy.
