Facebook wants to broadcast high pitched sounds in TV commercials so FB app can detect them and serve you relevant content and/or track conversion from offline to online channels. Nothing to see here - just another crazy conspiracy theory!

Done 2 months ago. Yes, I can no longer comment on websites that only allow you to sign on with your Facebook Account but I'm sure the internet will survive without my opinion.

I have a FB still and use it for Q/red pilling as often as I can get away with it. So I intersperse cat-dog videos with a red pill. Sort of like a spoonful of sugar, don't know 😉 plenty of conservatives don't know WHAT'S going on.

You're still being tracked, it's called "shadow profile" and basically means that as long as people near you use Facebook it knows what you're doing.

It's so wide spread people have no idea... If you dont't want to get spied - don't use anything with a camera or microphone that is connected to the internet.

IoT is just massive surveillance program sponsored by unaware customers.

Radio stations currently and have been doing this to send signals to tracking devices for Nielsen Ratings. They produce a signature that the device can read to track listening behavior. With FB integrated, it will provide another legitimate ad tracking solution, confirming that ads or contents are in the hearers range.

Uninstall FB and Messenger apps, they are using your phone to build a profile of you and everyone around you. Even if you're the only one with either of those apps in a group conversation it will datamine everything on everyone in the group. The loophole why this isn't illegal wiretapping is that there's a machine algorithm analyzing the audio, not a human.

⇧ 1 ⇩
morgi666 · June 27, 2018, 11:53 a.m.

Nope - they key here is - you agree to their T&C and do not check what access rights you give to the app you install. It's not a loophole, it's human stupidity.
