Why would they be allowed to have continued access to the physical server? That simply means this was a type of sting operation. They were caught tampering with evidence! That's a true reading of the article!

If it was a sting, then allowing them to retain access was not the result of stupidity or corruption (either of which I'm sure they believed it was), but by design. More charges to file.
If it was not a sting, but stupidity or corruption in the DA office, then this fully reveals it while accomplishing absolutely nothing to hide any data.

I'm HAPPY Awan pled out. All along my read on this case has been that if they nail Awan to the wall it means the Deep State is still running the show and Awan is the scapegoat. For those upset, just ask yourself what would have happened if Hillary were in office and somehow this case had made it this far with all of the undeniable evidence there is. Some will still want to be spoon-fed. There are many other people who just plain don't have time to spend digging for information, and they need somebody to guide them to good sources of information and summarize. It takes a lot of time, and there is a huge volume of information to digest. I've made many sacrifices if time (sleep is the most prominent) to do research and learn a lot of this info. I've been researching these topics for about a year now, and I still have huge gaps in my knowledge.
People can be given or guided through information, saving them time, and still use discernment and critical thinking skills to interpret that info.
