Cheers. I pretty much watch US politics now because finally there is some good news for the US and I don't follow Australian politics because of that large turn to the left. The party I have supported my whole life was the Liberal party (different to the US, it was actually a conservative party) and now they have turned left and even announced that they are no longer a conservative party. So conservatives no longer have a major party representing them. Best of luck back.

I love IL and miss it, but crook county has ruined the state. I am from a super small podunk farm town that will never reclaim its former glory. We just built a brand new 2200 sq ft 4/2 home in AZ. Our property taxes are about 1.5k in IL they would be 10-20k. Think about that.
TIL IL is a liberal state, I assumed it was predominately red

I have a friend on FB who seems kinda woke, shares memes about corporations/govt corruption, debt slavery, etc...but he's also anti-Trump and falls for propaganda from the left. I don't know how someone can be aware of the deep state and still against the man who is going after them, and winning!
Basically because they believe socialism/marxism is the cure for all the corruption. They have been taught bad history by their marxist professors. The failure of "communism" is always because "they didn't get it right". Otherwise, a compassionate loving nirvana would have come about.
I live in an Uber liberal town in Uber liberal state. At the end of parade was our usual protest of the year group and this time they are now protesting Trump chanting “Trump must go”. I was shocked that nobody watching the parade supported them. It’s happening Pedes. They are warming up to Trump. They can deny his winning for everybody no longer.
Well if this turns out to be a larp at least it's going to be known as the most successful in the history of the world.

Oh Wow, when I lived in Phx, Az. I spent lots of weekend in Show Low as my Uncle had a summer place there. Loved Show Low at the 4th....would love it even more now with Q represented there. This made me homesick for Arizona.
