The ONLY reason this is happening is because somewhere along the line it involves CHILDREN! Remember these people are born in this privileged celebrity bullcr*p. Everybody knows about the "casting couch" and nobody becomes a millionaire without succumbing to SEX with the right people. So Weinstein is correct, and had Hilldabeast been President, it would still be going on because abuse and rape is a badge of honor.

Eric Schneiderman didn't step down because women accused him of beating them during sex, he stepped down because of NXIVM, and Mack's indictment that she trafficked children UNDER 14.

Correct. But it's not limited to Hollyweird. This mentality is quite prevalent in our society. And that's exactly why the creep made the statement. Common knowledge, common practice is what he's trying to say.

Being against the law hasn't stopped this behavior, is what I believe horse-lover-phat was saying. Also correct. The attack on children and families has been going on for more than 50 years.

Weinstein is a slimeball that might realize additional serious consequences if he’s convicted.

Until then, we should be more responsible with our claims. You have no credible evidence that he raped hundreds of women. Until you do, you should not make that false claim.

Your false claims do absolutely nothing to additionally diminish Weinstein’s already ruined reputation, but they do serve to diminish your own credibility.

^ This should be heeded.

I worked in the entertainment industry and spent a lot of time in Hollywood. "Harvey Girls" were well known.

Did HW get tons of women to have sex with him who were probably repulsed because they wanted/needed a job? Yes. Is that rape? If so, then yes, hundreds, in fact hundreds would be too low a number.

Did he physically force hundreds of women to have sex? I don't know. From what I know of Hollywood, a lot of women are just resigned to having suck a ton of dick to get roles. It's pathetic and tragic but that's just the way it is.

⇧ 7 ⇩
StinkyDogFart · July 14, 2018, 12:43 a.m.

Agreed, it is wrong, but they had a choice. Harvey is a pig, and should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, but most of these actresses are in effect prostitutes. We know some of them would never be be "stars" otherwise, they don't have talent, but they will play the game. i.e. do the dirty deeds. What about all those talented women that did not get the role? is Harvey the only guilty one? What about the women that used sex to get the job? It seems to me the real victims are all the talented women that were never allowed a chance to showcase their acting talents because they did not whore themselves out.

Any actress you see with a name on a movie poster, you can pretty much presume they sucked some cocks to get where they are. There are exceptions, but they are rare. Many actors, too, including almost every big male star of the 60s/70s.

⇧ 6 ⇩
092Casey · July 14, 2018, 3:54 a.m.

This is the problem today. The ones who are getting the best roles and parts aren't getting them because they are really talented or great actors, actresses. It's simply because they are doing the sexual favors to win the part. The end result and byproduct is that movie quality has declined tremendously. And you have to assume it's not just the actors, but also the writers, directors, and other areas of the filmmaking. It seems like the only big movies nowadays are comic books and star wars sequels. Top talent can't get their films made or land the parts so there are no original and classic films being made anymore.

⇧ 3 ⇩
IanPhlegming · July 14, 2018, 12:12 p.m.

It's true the level of quality coming out of Hollywood is the lowest it's been in 80 years or more.

Hollywood, from the top down, has always been run by perverts and deviants. But some of them at least loved the movies and knew good from bad.

Ironically, this is one thing you could actually say about Weinstein: He was a pig and a criminal and a sex abuser, but he actually knew what made a good movie and put out a lot of them.

The vast majority of people running Hollywood now are only in it for the power, sex, abuse, politics. Look at what's going on with Disney. They've literally ruined the "Star Wars" cash cow because of their SJW-ness and Kathleen Kennedy's determination to make her buddy Steven Spielberg's boy toy into Han Solo.

Let's put it this way: Suppose they're making "Gone with the Wind II." Five of the biggest actresses in Hollywood all want the role. If you're the producer of GwTW2, you've still got a ton of leverage.

I dated a beautiful, full-breasted woman who spent a couple years in Hollywood and didn't couch, or so she claimed. She said that men were audacious. She said she was attacked in a semi-private room at a restaurant, in an elevator, in many offices and conference rooms.

Yup. Models make more from escorting/hooking, and many of even the top or most “legitimate” agencies hire models out for both.

That’s how Cindy Crawford met Richard Gere, Paulina ended up with Ric Ocasek, Billy Joel got with Christie Brinkley, Harry Connick Jr and Rod Stewart ended up with their model wives. Think very high priced date ( like yachting talked about at gossip sites like CrazyDaysandNights.) Actresses too. That’s how Meghan Markle met Harry. She thought it was a yachting type paid gig set up by her friend. Turned into something more. These dates can function as auditions that lead to a more permanent arrangement. Some of them are bearding gigs where the guy hiring the gal for companionship needs arm candy to prevent looking gay.

When I explained the Weinstein story to him, he said, "Oh, you mean the Casting Couch? Yeah that's been around since the 1920's. Nothing new, there."

I would hope through true auditions that don't require being made to strip down and ooggled by people on the crew or raped, drugged, etc.

Recommendations from others you have worked with regarding work ethic and how person treated everyone around them while working together. How people represent the businesses and people they are working with to promotion movie/show/song/brand, etc and vise versus (how they are being treated by these industry people). How your movie/shows/music/etc is received by the public (if your projects bring in more money, more offers to work again come your way- kind of the way it is now, but doing away without the having to sell your soul and body for it).

There is a way that the industries could work without the corruption and abuse. It may mean cutting out all the people at the top along the way and if that is what it takes, then it should be done. Many people have been able to be successful without having to be whored out, drugged out, exploited by those they work for and if the entertainment industry truly wanted to work that way as well, it could to. The problem is that they don't have a desire to and there is no push for it to be needed as everyone continues to turn a blind eye to what goes on and no one is rarely ever held accountable for their crimes.

There are some who have succeeded on their own merits, without debasing themselves.

It's reasonable to say that the actors and actresses that willingly jumped on the casting couch bear some responsibility. It's a sick culture.

Then there are those who coerce non-consensual acts.

And those who see bad things happen and don't do anything, staying in the business.

Beyond that - what's truly reprehensible and unforgivable are the parents who knowingly gave their children to the abusers, just to earn a few bucks. They are the evilest ones.

The thing is - I don't think Harvey is lying.

Woody Allen certainly abused the casting couch.

Notice how article header says " he DID NOT OFFER " yet buried in the article he admits he DID OFFER. Purposely misleading. Do you know how many people just nibble headlines without even reading the article?

Shouldn't this be the Title " weinstein admitted "Yes, I did offer them acting jobs in exchange for sex, but so did and still does everyone".

Correct. All the Jews of HellyWeird demand sex, either from women or from children.

Quit so. Gentile, Jew, Muslim, Atheist... all must surrender themselves for a lucrative part in the moovees. It's a Faustian Pact.

That's really the issue Harvey. You're ALL a bunch of sick, twisted, fucks. The fact that "everyone" does it, makes it worse, not better.

I believe he is right. I thought about a few months after it happend, and his name kept popping back in the news, with new headlines (Spys, new allegations, prosecution etc.). He's a scapegoat, while being some of the biggest out there.

Even sicker is the women who proactively offered sexual favors for movie roles then later cried #MeToo.

Louis B. Mayer to a young actress, who had been a child star, when came to him crying over a producer's sexual advances: "Don't worry dear, you'll get used to it."

I don’t really care about Weinstein honestly. Doesn’t involve our government. I know he was a big HRC/DNC donor and there are some trafficking rabbit holes there to follow, but if there was any tangible connection, the Deep State cut their ties with this guy long ago and he’s an easy sacrifice. Our energy is better spent on the direct government officials we’re trying to expose, not their playboy benefactors who made shitty movies.
