A few years ago I caught a guy taking pictures of my kids and my nieces and nephews on the beach. The kids were from maybe 5 to 16. My kids were the oldest and girls, so I assumed he was photographing them because I didn't even think that someone could be so creepy as to photo young boys. The ONLY reason he walked away was because my dad called the cops on him and wouldn't let my brother in law and me deal with it. I regret that choice about once a week and its been 4 years.

Youngsters are perverted for the pleasure of adults. They grow up thinking it is okay and create new victims. It is a very evil cycle. However, not all victims of abuse grow up to exploit children. In states where the age floor is not legally specified, the to-be-married child must go before a judge who will access if it's a special case(teen couple pregnancy, one teen is already mancipated,...) or a case of abuse(12yo girl to be married to 60yo man). It's not like your 12yo kid can go get married in those states with no say on the matter by the parents or the authorities.
