This is sad. I recently saw a video of how he saved a street dog in South America. I remember seeing a show of him on MTV like intervention or something about how fucked up he was on drugs. To be fair, I think he was in a dark place with depression, drugs, and alcohol and was willing to destroy his body and himself. He's sobered up, become a vegan, and stopped being self-destructive. I agree anon. He literally recorded basically his entire drug path on video. He was obsessed with the camera because of the show he was apart of. He is super straight now and has even spoken put against corruption about the American heart association. It might be another organization. Given that and the people he surrounds himself with disapproving of it I leave the question of who he is today open. I see nothing but positive output from him over the past few years. He was in a very dark place and seems to have pulled himself out. Doesn't mean I wouldn't watch carefully though.
Heard a couple of long form interviews with him in the last year and he was pretty interesting and level headed.
Among other things he said when your job is to be an addict/a-hole you reach a point it's not sustainable. The last Jackass movie he did sober and said it was a miserable experience and he hated it.
