CRT supporters claim to have whole truth, but it is a deception. Good outcomes do not come from negative foundations such as slavery, racial discrimination, etc. If those supporters enjoy good outcomes in this USA country, better admit proactively that the foundations of these outcomes are hard work, morally ethical thought and behavior, standing up for one’s responsibilities, etc. Heck, what happened to George Washington Carver in the middle of “systematic racism”? The foundations of his achievements were not the racist culture around him. He ignored it. Instead, he worked hard, trusted Christian God, and persevered (and had help of white adults in his life’s key circumstances—is this the proof or disproof of systematic racism?).

I have already been lying for years and I want to commend my fellow educators for already lying and for refusing to tell the truth about the false narrative of systemic racism. Bravo! Maybe you can get a socialist government like mine in place if you just continue lying!

I will NOT support Critical Race THEORY as FACT. CRT is demonic & is state-sanctioned Black supremacy. As a Black woman, I will NOT stand by & allow for the deliberate government-orchestrated division to tear our country apart. If you Marxists hate the US so much, LEAVE!
Lydia Dodd | Chattanooga, TN
It is my responsibility to lead my students in meaningful conversations about the way the world works and how we should interact in it. This law restricts me of that responsibility and even threatens me to shy away from topics related to race, which my students deal with on a daily basis. If I can't teach my students how to think critically and examine their rights as citizens of this country, there is no use for public education.

I am a former student teacher and an activist. I am disappointed that the education that I received over 60 years ago was not the complete truth.

I am very proud of all my Marxist underlings. It fills me with pride to see them unwittingly sell their own country out so we can genocide our ethnic groups worry free!!

I too believe in this ludicrous system of racism masquerading as anti-racism. Our children deserve to be indoctrinated with horribly racist ideas under the false flag of “critical race theory.” I have a dream that one day all kids will hate both themselves and others unlike them

This would be a good list if someone wanted to start eliminating radical teachers.

I refuse to ignore our history and the contributions of traditionally marginalized groups in that history traditionally credited to the majority group of white, wealthy males. I refuse to teach my students an alternate history rewritten by the suppressors in power. They have the right to learn about the contributions and impact that Black Americans, women, LGBTQ+, Latin/a/ex, Native Tribes, Asian & Pacific Islander, all religions other than Christianity, and all other non-white Europeans have had to America. I will not regurgitate one version of history or one type of literature. I will be a student to my students and a teacher of the truth.
Alexandra Ottaway | Florence, MA
Our kids will be embarrassed in front of kids from other countries when they grow up to meet them when they find out they know more about our history than we know of theirs. To understate it completely.
Loni Lewis | Charleston, SC
My students deserve the truth. My students love learning about the truth. My students deserve windows and mirrors (in the words of Rudine Simms Bishop).
Jess Barselow | Greensboro, NC
The only way to make the world a better place for everyone is understand the ways in which it is not equitable for all, which includes learning the history of how we got here.
