Google Stops Donating to Republicans that Objected to 2020 Elections

Google announced Monday that it has suspended donations to lawmakers that objected to the certification of the 2020 presidential election.

Google spokesperson José Castañeda told the Hill, “Following that review, the NetPAC board has decided that it will not be making any contributions this cycle to any member of Congress who voted against the certification of the election results.”

The search giant’s announcement follows as other giant technology companies said that they would suspend their donations.

Facebook said that it would suspend their contributions to candidates for the first quarter of 2021. Microsoft said it would stop donating to politicians while reviewing whether to suspend contributions to Republicans that objected to the certification of the 2020 elections.

Microsoft said it would announce its final decision by February 15 after discussing the matter with its employees.

Other technology companies such as Amazon, AT&T, and Comcast have threatened to stop donations to Republicans that raised concerns about potential election fraud during the 2020 elections.

Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO), who objected to the certification of Pennsylvania’s electoral votes, said on Tuesday that corporate giants and big tech companies had created a “social credit system” to stifle free speech and push their leftist agenda on the country.

Hawley said:

It will get worse. The tech titans have already booted dozens of conservatives off social media, and if they have their way, half the House Republican conference will be expelled from Congress. The corporate titans seem to believe that the only way to get a democracy to their liking is to eliminate all threats to the Democratic Party’s unified control of government.

President Joe Biden said Tuesday he is abolishing the Trump administration’s 1776 Commission which, he stated, is “offensive” and “counterfactual.”

During his remarks on his racial equity agenda, Biden said:

Regarding the Declaration of Independence, the report observes:

White Squall movieby Ridley Scott in 1995. I saw the dvd at a thriftshop for $1 and watched it.

gotta say it has lines all through it that Q posted except "Watch The Water". It is a True Story movie shot on locations in the Carribean. IS GOOD.

Friday 5-5-1961 0943H. (!)

The adolescent training-school crew have tuned their radio in to the countdown of Alan Shepard launch in a Mercury rocket. In total there are 17 (!) souls on board. It is just 23 (!) days since the cosmonaut Gagarin had gone into outer space 12-04-1961. As Shepard's rocket fires up (first astronaut in outer space) a monster electrical storm moves in on The Albatross.

While the radios keep playing, the wind, rain, spray and waves are fire-hosing the decks and the crew -they're completely awash up to their waists (nb zero lifejackets or harness lines back then). The crew are suddenly facing a huge storm at sea and -critically- cannot climb rigging to reef the sails because of risk of electrocution by lightning which is all around. Time to panic perhaps. The Capt and trainee crew are rescuing a crew member washed overboard just as the white squall is spotted by the Capt - the squall can be seen by its effect on the water and is perhaps the length of a football field distant but closing fast. The Capt yells an order from midships to the trainee Helmsman to turn and spill the wind from the sails but he panics and does not carry out the order - he tries to run square (with the wind).

So this squall then smashes into the ship broadsides. The ship goes over as the squall passes through them and the masts and sails are laid over in the water.. The Capt orders to free the two lifeboats and abandon ship. While cutting free the lifeboats the ship's bell is also salvaged by the trainee Helmsman who had spent a load of his time polishing it. A trainee and the Captain's wife are trapped below deck and ultimately lost despite heroic action to try to free them.

Next, the Coast Guard Hearing. It is the emotional climax of the movie. The trainees are one with the Capt as he hands the Authorities his resignation/license. The WWG1WGA bell is rung by the Helmsman to rally the crew in the 'court'. All of them indicate they would happily return to sea with Capt in command given the chance and feel they can face any crisis as a team.

The credits mention that some crew served in SVN War and survived. In the earlier scenes establishing characters, about mid-April 1961, they are boarded by Cuban Coast Guard looking for Bay of Pigs involvement. Also, one trainee's father is mega-rich mega-douche (billionaire) who attacks The Captain for sending his windowlicking psycho son home early.

If Biden is concerned about a nation-wide mask mandate being unconstitutional, how is it still constitutional to impose such a mandate on federally owned property? Isn't federally owned property subject to the US Constitution? Not a constitution expert by any means.

The policy was formally distributed last week.The nearly five-year delay means hundreds, perhaps thousands, of patients in NIH experiments made decisions to participate in experiments that often carry risks without full knowledge about the researchers' financial interests. "Quite frankly, we should have done it more quickly. But as soon as Director (Elias A.) Zerhouni found out about it, he ordered it done immediately," NIH spokesman John Burklow said.

Act of war exclusions protect insurance companies from having to pay death benefits to beneficiaries if the insured person dies as an act of war. This generally includes acts of war domestically or abroad. Act of war exclusions were common in term life insurance policies sold before the 1970s . Most insurance policies sold today don't have this exclusion, but it's always important to double-check your policy, especially if the insured person is in the military or another profession that's likely to expose him to acts of war.

Dangerous Activities

Some term life insurance policies contain exclusions for specific dangerous activities. Like most other exclusions, these exclusions are less common than they used to be. Activities that were commonly excluded in life insurance policies included SCUBA diving, race car driving, rock climbing and aviation. Policies that exclude dangerous activities must plainly state what types of activities are excluded. In some cases, life insurance companies simply refuse to insure those who engage in dangerous activities.

It's increasingly rare for a term life insurance company to refuse to insure people because of dangerous activities or to include exclusions other than suicide exclusions in their policies. i don't think black people are bad though. i think humans are naturally a part of whatever environment they are raised in. it is just hwatever, you do what the other people around you are doing, that is life. but it is easy to get caught up in an activity that is USUALLY harmless or has no PHYSICAL victim. It doesn't mean you can steal, but it doesn't mean you are VIOLENT either. stealing a car doesn't make you prone to murder. what if you are firing a gun in the backyard? it is <coolto do that. i can understand. if it was legal, i might feel like shooting a gun in my backyard sometimes too. anyway. it could land on someone or whatever. i dunno.
