Egyptian Officer Says Army Needs Help From Russian PMCs To Confront ISIS In Sinai

 

The Egyptian military should seek help of Russian private military contractors from the so-called ‘Wagner’ group to eliminate ISIS in the Sinai Peninsula, an Egyptian officer argued in an interview that was shared by the Vancouver-based Elminbar al-Awsat outlet on January 24.

 

The officer, whose name was not disclosed due to security concerns, revealed in the interview a number of problems faced by the Egyptian military in Sinai.

 

Egyptian government forces have been actively battling the insurgence in Sinai since early 2011. In 2014, this was further complicated by the ISIS factor. Despite the immense efforts of Cairo, the terrorist group is still present in the peninsula. Earlier this month, the group released a video documenting dozens of its recent attacks there.

 

According to the interviewed officer, Egyptian soldiers and warrant officers lack training and are not able to make the most out of advanced weapons bought from the US, France and Russia. Furthermore, the troops in Sinai allegedly operate in a predictable manner.

 

“The terrorists have studied our tactics well,” the officer said. “Unprotected posts are easily spotted and attacked, then they [the terrorists] simply hide in the desert and avoid direct clashes.”

 

The officer went on to say that air power is useless against ISIS cells in Sinai. Moreover, Egyptian troops involved in counter-insurgency operations do not benefit from large-scale drills which are focused on traditional tactics.

 

In the end of the interview the officer concluded that the Egyptian military needs support from organizations with experience in the war on ISIS, like Russia-linked private military contractors.

 

“Egypt should seek the services of private military companies with extensive experience in fighting ISIS, and I believe that the Russian Wagner is ideal for these tasks,” the officer said. “Moving Wagner units to the Sinai, conducting joint counterterrorism operations, and training our soldiers by specialists from them, will bring us much greater benefit than hundreds of millions of dollars in American aid to buy expensive military equipment, which in turn will remain useless in military bases.”

 

Thousands of Russia-linked private military contractors saw actions against terrorists in Syria as well as in other parts of the world over the last five years. The decision to seek the help of Russian PMCs to secure Sinai is not an easy one for the government in Cairo as it will reveal the complicated situation in Sinai. Nonetheless, the experience of Russian military specialists could help to improve the situation in the region.

Based on the information I’m receiving, Trump isn’t going to be restored as president by March 4th, or April 1st or anytime soon. Although Trump reportedly signed the documents to turn over control to the military under a limited scenario of emergency powers, the military did not want to move against Biden on Inauguration Day out of fear that a nationwide civil war would commence immediately thereafter.

As was shared with me, the military has comprehensive proof that the election was rigged by foreign aggressors working with domestic actors. They know the full list of seditious traitors and treasonous operators, and there is indeed an arrest list in place. However, the military is reluctant to move against Biden until Biden’s popularity drops due to his rolling out of bad policies (which has already begun, of course).

 

When the military makes its move, it wants the vast majority of the US public to be in support of that move. Something like 70%, it seems. And so the war is under way for patriots to drive down Biden’s approval ratings while the fake news media tries to propel Biden’s approval numbers higher and higher by covering up all his scandals and depicting him as some sort of saint.

Finally, remember that whining isn’t winning. People who are still whining about Trump, the patriots, the military or “the plan” are doing absolutely nothing useful. Winners are fighters who deal with the current situation no matter how bad it looks. I’m encourage people to stop whining and start winning. “Ain’t got time to bleed,” as Jesse Ventura famously said in Predator. And we sure don’t have time for whining and complaining.

It's not new to call Christianity a "cult".

Many Christians right now are being asked to reject Qanon (or at least the "conspiracy theories" which they claim are at the root of Qanon). And in many respects, Christianity can be likened to a "conspiracy theory" too. So much has been written — some of it by me — about how poor Al Gore was all but forced to follow in his daddy the senator’s footsteps, eventually succumbing to pressure to take up his line of work, and take on his unfulfilled ambitions.

 

Yet now that the former vice president is without any question writing his own script, and can follow any path he likes, the one he’s chosen with the sale of his Current TV network to Qatar-funded Al Jazeera is not just hypocritical, but awfully familiar to those who remember what his father did after leaving public life.

 

Albert Gore Sr. lost his Tennessee Senate seat in 1970 for the noblest of reasons — standing up against the war in Vietnam, and for civil rights. Even then, Republicans apparently thought they had to cheat to best him; Watergate investigators later found Nixon operatives had illegally contributed to the race. He was also the victim of such vicious race-baiting that the man who defeated him later apologized for an ad meant to appeal to white George Wallace voters with the assurance that “Bill

Brock believes in the things we believe in.”

 

After Gore Sr. was defeated, though — and dramatically declared in his fiery concession speech that “The truth shall rise again!” — he went to work for the oil baron Armand Hammer, whose Occidental Petroleum broke into the big leagues after it started doing business in Libya in 1965 — on visas then-Senator Gore had helped his old pal obtain. Kaveh Lotfolah Afrasiabi, 63, an Iranian citizen and legal permanent resident of the United States, was arrested by the FBI at his home in Watertown, Massachusetts, on Monday, Jan. 18. A federal court in New York City is charging him with acting and conspiring to act as an unregistered agent of the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

 

According to federal authorities, Afrasiabi is on the payroll of Iranian diplomats who are assigned to the Iranian permanent mission to the United Nations in New York City since at least 2007. Investigations revealed that he may have been paid as much as $265,000 in checks drawn from the permanent mission. Iran is also covering his health insurance through the permanent mission’s employee health benefit plans since at least 2011.

ETF's and Physical metal: Gold and Silver

 

This methodology can be applied to virtually ALL of the ETF products out there. Some background of process and stated ownership (custodial) . Blackrock is LARGE in this space with trillions tied to ETF's. Larry Fink COB/CEO and his handler's et al deserve a special place in hell for all this too. You own real hard assets if you purchase physical. You own pieces of paper that promise you can have it later. This is the fallacy that the system has created to make you get muh feels that you are protected from any systemic problems the system has. Understand that these products that are in retirement account(s), brokerage accounts, managed money accts etc. They are nothing moar then a promise to get in a very LONG line should you actually need this protection. The contracts that trade on the COMEX are also this way. You are buying a paper delivery promise to own the metal(s) that is not backed by anything but it's input price and that is taken from the spot price-. These are ok if you want to capture movements with the daily prices. They are NOT going to give you anything physical when it all goes tits up.

 

Exchange Traded Funds or ETF's are a vehicle to capture any given movement of an asset class. These grew like weeds starting in 2006. They are hundreds of them that "track" market index(s), commodity's, bonds, currency-anything that is offered for trade. Now in the case of metals ETF's the major ones are: GLD (SPDR Gold Trust), IAU (ishares Gold Trust) for Gold and SLV (ishares Silver Trust) and SIVR (Aberdeen Standard Physical Silver Shares) for Silver- There are several moar in each and also have products that use leverage against the spot prices (2-3x of movement up and down) but those are the big ones based on the total amount of 'assets' placed in both. They key point of this is what you own. You own NOTHNG…all you own is a piece of paper that SAYS you can stand for delivery at an agreed upon call date. The price for these products are derived from the Chicago Mercantile Exchange or COMEX and use the spot prices you see displayed on any ticker that tracks that pricing input. Kitco is but one. In the case of iShares these are owned by Blackrock and they are the custodian of the metal that are supposed to be in these things. They do not have it. Larry Fink is the CEO of Blackrock and Cheryl Mills sits on the BoD as well. What they do is create fake reports that basically say "we have moved this amount in or out of the trust" to reflect the movement of daily prices. This can be seen in what is called the Committment of Traders report or COT.

It's nothing moar then a way to make it seem they are moving real metal around and satisfying the duties they have as custodians. If they truly did this in the way it is reported you would see real physical evidence of it being moved around-like a few trucks here and there…you don't. Recall the 911 event when the gold was taken out of the WTC complex afterwards. They had all these trucks lined up to "clean it up" what they really did was loot the gold that was stored in the complex. Think about it- if you did not know that was going to habben how could you amass a small army of trucks and put it on stand-by waiting to "clean it all up"? This goes back to Barrick gold and a few other mining companies too-not enough space to get in to that.

DC Police Chief Bashes ‘Tepid’ US Army Response to Capitol Riot, IDs Second Officer Suicide

 

In the wake of Trump supporters storming the US Capitol, congressional lawmakers have held several hearings in an effort to gain a clearer picture of the deadly events that unfolded on January 6, and to better understand the security failures that allowed individuals to ransack the federal building and kill a law enforcement officer.

 

Acting Metropolitan Police Chief Robert Contee touched on a variety of aspects regarding the deadly Capitol riot during a Tuesday congressional hearing, highlighting that he was most “stunned at the tepid response” from the US Army as officials sought additional forces to control rioters.

 

Delivering his testimony to the House Appropriations Committee, Contee revealed that during a call with US Capitol Police, DC National Guard and Army leadership, Trump-appointed political representatives with the US Department of Defense were hesitant to deploy troops over concerns of what the public might think.

 

"While I certainly understand the importance of both planning and public perception - the factors cited by the staff on the call - these issues become secondary when you are watching your employees, vastly outnumbered by a mob, being physically assaulted,” Contee told lawmakers. “I was able to quickly deploy my force and issue directives to them while they were in the field, and I was honestly shocked that the National Guard could not - or would not - do the same."

 

Federal officials have rejected claims that there was a delay in offering National Guard troops to contain the insurrection. Maj. Gen. William Walker, the commander of the DC National Guard, told the Washington Post on Wednesday that he was, however, prevented from deploying forces as the Pentagon had restricted his authority in the days ahead of the riot.

 

Contee further explained that when he asked for DoD officials to clarify their plans, “staff responded that they were not refusing to send [troops], but wanted to know the plan and did not like the optics of boots on the ground at the Capitol.”

 

Although troves of officers and National Guard forces were eventually deployed, it took several hours for rioters to be removed from the Capitol grounds, even after Washington DC Mayor Muriel Bowser imposed a citywide curfew. US lawmakers did not resume their electoral recount until about 8 p.m.

 

The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) deployed over 850 officers, costing city taxpayers at least $8.8 million, Contee told officials, noting that the final price tag is likely to be much higher. “The costs for this insurrection - both human and monetary - will be steep,” he said.

Actor and director Rob Reiner took to Twitter Wednesday demanding that the Senate convict former President Donald Trump, who he referred to as “the new leader of the Confederacy” during “our continuing Civil War.”

 

“Our original sin is at the the root of our continuing Civil War. Donald Trump, the new leader of the Confederacy, heads the Sedition,” Reiner wrote. “If he is not held accountable with a Senate conviction, there will be no Appomattox,” the site of Robert E. Lee’s surrender to Ulysses S. Grant in 1865.

This is not Reiner’s first time trying to pressure lawmakers into impeaching Trump. Earlier this month, the actor claimed that any member of Congress who does not oust the president during his remaining days in office will be supporting sedition, which is a federal crime.

 

“Any members of Congress that doesn’t support Impeachment and Removal of this President supports Sedition,” tweeted Reiner two days after the Capitol Hill riot.

Last month, the actor ignored Joe Biden’s call to “heal America” and unite a divided nation by declaring that the very survival of American democracy depends on whether members of Trump’s family and administration face criminal prosecution.

 

In September, Reiner insisted that law enforcement will apprehend then-President Trump after election day, stating, “in 42 days we will arrest the killer.”

 

“Donald Trump has essentially shot and killed 100s of thousands Americans on 5th Ave, continues to do it every day, and he’s right, his cult doesn’t care,” tweeted Reiner. “But the rest of US do. In 42 days we will arrest the killer.”
