Industry bosses warned meat, cheese, fruit and vegetable supplies will be hit

The CO2 shortage will devastate supermarkets within days, with fizzy drinks, cheese, meat, fruit and veg all at risk of running out, the boss of Iceland has warned.

Britain is in the grip of an energy crisis with soaring wholesale gas prices - up 70 per cent since last month - leading to CF Fertilisers stopping production at two fertiliser plants.

These two foreign-owned plants produce 60 per cent of the UK's CO2 with the decision to stop production plunging the food industry into chaos.

CO2 is used to stun animals for slaughter, package meat and also in refrigeration systems. It is also used in fizzy drinks, beer, cheese, fruit and vegetables and crumpets, among other items.

Now, Iceland boss Richard Walker has warned: 'This is no longer about whether Christmas will be OK. This is more about keeping the wheels turning and the lights on so we can actually get to Christmas.'

Discussing the available CO2 supply, Nick Allen of the British Meat Processors Association told Sky News: 'My members are saying anything between five, 10 and 15 days supply.

'The animals have to stay on farm, they'll cause farmers on the farm huge animal welfare problems and British pork and British poultry will disappear off the shelves.

'We're two weeks away from seeing some real impacts on the shelves. On the poultry side we're hearing they're even tighter supplies so we might see poultry disappearing even sooner.'

Meanwhile, the chairman of the National Pig Association warned that if the situation facing the pork industry does not change, farmers will be forced to 'slaughter their own animals' due to a lack of space and feed.

On Saturday North Carolina GOP Chairman Michael Whatley had the nerve to show his face and speak at an election integrity event.

Whatley is a GOP insider who told North Carolinians to disregard President Trump’s endorsement of Rep. Ted Budd for US Senate two days after Trump’s endorsement.

Whatley is also unconcerned over the accusations of voter fraud in the state and does not support a forensic audit.

Republican voters are tired of the worthless leadership in the party and in Congress.

On Saturday, September 18th, GOP Chairman Michael Whatley showed up and spoke briefly at an election integrity event. This was the second day following the detailed data presentation from Seth Keshel, who initially started working on the election integrity issues with General Flynn. They had had three events in North Carolina laying out the compelling trends data. While President Trump did win the state of North Carolina, most conservative Republicans are certain it was much higher than the official data shows. In fact, Seth Keshel’s data shows President Trump likely won by 250,000 more votes than officially recorded. Further, based on this data, most conservative Republicans also do not believe that Governor Roy Cooper was legitimately re-elected.

For these reasons, citizens are demanding a forensic audit like in Arizona. To date, efforts to launch an audit have been stymied by Republicans in the State Legislature as well as party officials. Chairman Whatley “road President Trump’s coattails” in order to gain re-election as the party chair and citizens are not happy the GOP wants to dismiss it and “move on to 2022.”

Therefore, when he showed up to speak and had the audacity to claim that “we” (meaning “they the party”) had done an excellent job in 2020 that “we” should be proud of that will carry us forward in 2022, the crowd began to loudly boo and essentially drove him off the stage. There had been three previous days of events clearly showing election issues in North Carolina that he wasn’t aware of? Shame on him if he didn’t have someone attending and taking notes.

Schumer Reveals Democrats Still Working to Include Amnesty In Reconciliation Bill After Senate Parliamentarian Blocks Effort

Senate Parliamentarian Elizabeth MacDonough on Sunday ruled Democrats cannot include amnesty in their gargantuan reconciliation bill because it not a budget-related matter.

The Democrats are pushing their $3.5 trillion “infrastructure” bill through budget reconciliation to go around Republicans because it will only need a simple majority to pass.

Democrat lawmakers tried to sneak immigration reform in the infrastructure bill because they know it will never pass in a vote that requires at least 60 votes to pass.

The Senate Parliamentarian rejected the Democrats’ effort to give illegals a pathway to citizenship because it would lead to “other, life-changing federal, state and societal benefits.”

Police called to FIVE bomb threats just hours apart: Disposal squad shut down Edinburgh's famous Princes Street and Lincoln Castle due to explosion risk as three Spalding schools are evacuated

Three schools and a castle in Lincoln, as well as a famous street in Edinburgh were all evacuated today after bomb threats were made.

Pupils from Spalding High School, St John the Baptist Primary and Monkshouse Primary in Lincoln were evacuated after reports alleged that bombs were on the premises.

The schools were closed shortly before another two suspicious packages were reported at Lincoln Castle.

Shortly after 3.30pm Lincolnshire Live reported that a 'controlled explosion' was carried out by a military EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal) team at the castle.

One eyewitness told the website that a black package was found against a wall in the castle grounds.

They said: 'It's a bit unusual. I have never heard anything like this happening at the castle before.

'To do controlled explosions, they must have been sufficiently concerned that it was something.'

Meanwhile, bomb disposal teams closed off part of Edinburgh's Princes Street - with Scotland's National Gallery forced to close.

The possibility of keeping Queensland’s borders shut until it reaches a 90 per cent vaccination ratehas been met with backlash from the tourism sector.

Keeping Queensland’s borders shut until it reaches a 90 per cent vaccination rate will only extend the pain for the downtrodden holiday sector, the state’s peak tourism body says.

International and state border closures over the past 18 months have dried up the regular flow of visitors that support Queensland’s $10 billion tourism industry and Queensland Tourism Industry Council boss Daniel Gschwind says there is no need for an extra hurdle to be added.

“Look, we don‘t need another setback, that is for certain,” Mr Gschwind said on Tuesday morning.

“We have done a tough across Australia. In Queensland, we had the benefit of being able to move about most of the time across the state, and Queenslanders have been enjoying the great weather and some destinations… but ultimately, we have to open up.

“Many operators are hanging on by their fingernails.”

Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk has already rejected reports her government is eyeing a reopening target higher than the 80 per cent full vaccination figure agreed to by the national cabinet, saying it was too early to speculate.

A spokesman for the Premier on Monday denied an enhanced 90 per cent threshold had been endorsed, even though chief health officer Jeanette Young expressed publicly she would like to see that figure achieved.

Ms Palaszczuk has also noted that the Doherty Institute was reviewing its road map and the target could be higher.

Mr Gschwind on Tuesday morning said there was no doubt that a 90 per cent full vaccination rate was ideal, but not a realistic target for reopening.

“We all hope… it will be 90 per cent but I think the expectation of that happening is low and not many countries if any have reached it around the world,” he said.

Cairns Adventure Group director Roderic Rees said his business was currently holding on as best it could, given no reopening date had been set.

“It‘s so shocking. We need a road map. We need a date,” he said

“If we get into mid-December and people in Victoria and NSW start travelling overseas, and they can’t come into Queensland, that is an unacceptable result for the tourism industry. We just – we can’t survive if that happens and we need to ensure that doesn’t happen.”

More than 60 per cent of Queenslanders have received their first vaccination dose following the weekend’s Super-Pfizer push, while just over 41 per cent are fully vaxxed.

The state is reportedly on track to reach 70 per cent full vaccination of over 16s by mid-November, and 80 per cent by early December.

For 5 years we did than. Even built a smoke house. He died, my son went off to college and haven't done anything like it since. Do you know that there are 3 ways to cure meat without refrigeration which would last almost a full harvest season?

1. Salt cure: i e. Prosciutto. I yr to cure, will last 2 years w/o refrigeration.

2. Water bath canning.

"Full Measure" host Sharyl Attkisson investigates how Covid-19 cases and deaths are being counted and finds some suspicious overcounting:

As hindsight comes into clearer focus, we're learning a lot about mistaken advice and policies amid the Covid-19 pandemic. One still murky and disputed area involves the death toll, now upwards of 640,000 in the U.S., according to CDC. Some insist the true count is much higher; others claim it's lower. Today, we begin with the startling results of our investigation that found in some documented cases, news that Covid was the cause of death was greatly exaggerated.

Grand County, Colorado, rural country a hundred miles outside of Denver.

Thanksgiving 2020, Lucais Reilly shoots his wife Kristin in the head, then turns the gun on himself, committing suicide. They have alcohol and drugs in their system and a history of domestic troubles.

Grand County coroner Brenda Bock explains how the small town tragedy is exposing serious questions about the way Covid deaths are counted.

Brenda Bock: I had a homicide-suicide the end of November, and the very next day it showed up on the state website as Covid deaths. And they were gunshot wounds. And I questioned that immediately because I had not even signed off the death certificates yet, and the state was already reporting them as Covid deaths.

Bock says somebody, somewhere had apparently run the couple’s names through a database showing they’d tested positive for Covid within 28 days of their death. Then recorded them as Covid deaths even though they died of gunshots.

Sharyl: If we look at the death certificates for the murder-suicide case, what will it say about Covid?

Bock: Nothing, absolutely nothing. I paid a forensic pathologist to do the autopsies on those two cases. And nowhere is COVID mentioned on those death certificates. Nowhere.

Bock: This is a copy of the death certificate, and nowhere does it say COVID. So we have a homicide, suicide, nothing to do with COVID.

Because there had been no Covid deaths within the geographic boundaries of Grand County in 2020, Bock was in a unique position to challenge the state’s accounting. In many cities and counties, the numbers are too big and the coroners would never know about discrepancies.

Within a week of the murder-suicide, two more Grand County deaths popped up on the state’s Covid count. Bock investigated and found out why she had no record of them.

The tension in your head, ringing like a bell of fear.

They send pulses of influence, defined by the subliminal layer of the current picture posted or the hidden association of the odd word said, to all bodies trapped by the mark/aura of the pylon.

A certain deployment gathers everyone into the daily net.

Another, is to 'ping' your ass with threats of violation.

That fear builds up to be the ringing tension in your mind, and once afraid to that level, they begin telling you what your tomorrow is going to be like.
