Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) grilled FBI National Security Branch Executive Assistant Director Jill Sanborn over the law enforcement agency’s involvement on January 6th in a tense exchange during Tuesday’s Senate Hearings.

 

Cruz, who has been under fire from Conservatives as of late for referring to β€œterrorism” when talking about 1/6, asked the FBI director several straightforward questions like β€˜how many FBI agents or informants actively participated in Jan 6th? And is notorious 1/6 catalyst β€˜Ray Epps a fed?’

 

But Cruz was unable to get any real answers from Sanborn during her sworn testimony; the only thing she was able to respond with to the majority of his questions was β€˜I can’t answer that.’

Sanborn did however admit to knowing who Ray Epps is, but acted as if she did not know anything about him before refusing to answer a direct question from Cruz on if he is a Federal agent.

 

Cruz ends his line of questioning by attempting to get a straight answer one last time with a very specific and pointed question.

 

β€œMs. Sanburn, a lot of Americans are concerned that the Federal Government deliberately encouraged illegal and violent conduct on January 6th. My question to you – and this is not an ordinary law enforcement question, this is a question about public accountability – Did federal agents, or those in service of federal agents, actively encourage violent and criminal conduct on January 6th?

 

Sandborn defiantly responds, β€œnot to my knowledge.”

 

If the FBI did not participate or encourage the eventual outcome of January 6th, they could easily say so. Refusing to answer the questions is all but direct confirmation of their involvement.

Last year, Ernst helped expose $600,000 of U.S. taxpayer money was funneled to Communist China’s Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) by way of a non-profit.

 

In April 2020, Ernst called on Congressional leadership to ensure no COVID stimulus funds went to WIV after it was exposed that the lab was funded by NIH.

 

In May 2020, Ernst called to defund the Wuhan Institute and China’s dangerous wet markets.

 

In March 2021, Ernst called on the Health and Human Services’ Office of Inspector General to find out why the agency is refusing to comply with a law and disclose how many taxpayer dollars are spent on specific research projects, like those being conducted with the WIV. She also introduced the Cost Openness and Spending Transparency (COST) Act which requires every project – from all federal agencies – supported with federal funds to include a price tag with the cost.

 

Also in March of this year, Ernst shed β€œsunlight” on the dangerous Wuhan Institute where she noted, β€œIn the months just prior to the first case of the new pathogen being publicly identified, researchers at this state-run lab reportedly became sick with COVID-like symptoms.”

 

In April 2021, Ernst penned an op-ed writing in part, β€œThe NIH needs to answer questions about why it allowed funds to go to this lab and what it knew about the reported problems there. It also needs to explain why it broke federal spending transparency law that would have given Congress, and most importantly the American people, a heads up that tax dollars were shipped to a virus lab run by the CCP.”

From Small Town Montana to FBI : "Along the Way"

The FBI, Central Intelligence Agency, and the fight against terrorism.

 

It's the stuff of books and movies. But it's also the real life experience of a woman with Montana roots.

 

She grew up in a small Montana town, but her work has taken her around the globe.

 

Special Agent Jill Sanbornjoined the FBI at age 27. She had been working at Los Alamos National Laboratory in New Mexico when someone encouraged her to apply for the FBI.

 

"I thought I'm from Dillon, Montana. I'm a small town girl. There's no way I could ever get hired by the FBI. He kept pressing me, I applied," Special Agent Sanborn says.

 

She was hired in 1998, now, 20 years later, she is one of less than 60 people in the FBI to be in charge of a field office. She was recently promoted to Special Agent in Charge of the Minneapolis Division of the FBI which includes South Dakota and North Dakota. Much of her career has been focused on counterterrorism.

 

"So shortly after 9-11 I was afforded an opportunity to go overseas and realize that seeing terrorism through the lens of the overseas aspect was really, really powerful," Sanborn says.

 

She continues by explaining, "It made me much better appreciate what we were dealing with here in the U.S. to be able to go overseas and see how what was going on overseas really impacted the threat here in the United States."

 

We were able to talk with Sanborn at the downtown Rapid City FBI office. But because of the sensitive nature of her work, we do not have photos or videos of her actual assignments, which is understandable. What we do have is her words, her vivid first hand account of her life's work.

 

"I volunteered to be a part of the counterterrorism fly team which was post 9-11. Director Mueller stood up a team of agents. that he wanted to be counterterrorism experts, that he could send all around the world," Sanborn says.

 

She explains, "So collecting intelligence, working with foreign partners, working with the embassy, etcetera, figuring out what overseas is posing a threat to us here in the United States and feeding that intelligence back."

 

And as if working for the FBI on a special team of counterterrorism experts is not enough, there's more. A lot more.

 

"I left the Fly Team and went over to a sort of immersion assignment with the CIA, where I was a detailee with CIA for just a little under 2 years which was a phenomenal experience because it took partnership to a whole new level. It actually immersed me in their culture," Sanborn says.

 

And most recently, Sanborn served as the FBI's section chief overseeing all overseas counterterrorism investigations. That, is a major responsibility.

"Post 9-11, the threat from Al Qaeda was definitely the biggest threat that we were facing from an international terrorism standpoint. That's different today,"Special Agent Jill Sanbornsays.

"Probably the most rewarding aspect of working in the CIA and FBI is every single day you go home feeling like you made an impact. You're doing something to protect America and uphold the Constitution," Sanborn says.

 

"So when I lived in New Mexico and worked at Los Alamos I became a green chili addict I love green chili. I don't have kids. I'm passionate beyond belief about dogs. I have 2 Labradors, Duke and Max," she says.

 

And while she's a real person, terrorism is just as real.

 

"So homegrown violent extremists are definitely our number one threat that we face and probably the most challenging to figure out where those are because the sheer nature of the threat. They're not reaching out to people. They're not looking to travel," she explains.

 

Sanborn goes on to explain, "The internet and social media and propaganda are coming into the home. That person is getting radicalized inside their home and can mobilize before any indicators of that radicalization and mobilization rise to the outside."

 

Finding those terrorists before they strike, is no easy task.

 

"And we need the community's help, the families, the friends, the co-workers, the students to be able to report that odd behavior to law enforcement," Sanborn says.

 

And as Sanborn takes on her highest level assignment yet: leading the Minneapolis field office, has not forgotten her roots.

 

"I want little girls or little boys that maybe were like me to realize you can be whatever you wanna be. Just because you grew up in a small town in Montana, put your goals out there and achieve them," she says.

 

Not only fighting terrorism and helping protect America, but also inspiring, all at the same time.

 

It's fun to see the human, behind the badge.

 

Another fun fact about Sanborn, her mother was an Olympic Skier.

Hulk Hogan pushes conspiracy theory that vaccine shots killed Betty White and Bob Saget

 

Former wrestling star Hulk Hogan pushed a popular conspiracy theory claiming that beloved actress Betty White, comedian Bob Saget, and legendary actor Sidney Poitier all died after receiving vaccination shots.

 

Hogan, whose real name is Terry Bollea, made the comment on a video from YouTube influencer Josh Pray lamenting the death of Saget. The wrestler responded to a commenter who claimed that the "Full House" star had died from the "jab," a nickname for the coronavirus vaccine shot.

 

"100 percent Betty and Sidney were also jabbed their dropping like flies but they'll never say it," Hogan responded.

 

That comment was deleted soon after but its existence was documented by many who took screenshots before it was taken down.

 

Saget, who was 65 years old, died on Sunday. He was found unresponsive in a hotel room in Orlando, Florida. Officials said there were no signs of foul play or that drugs were involved in his death.

 

Poitier died on Friday at the age of 94. The trailblazing actor reportedly died of natural causes and had been in ill health for some time before passing away.

 

White died at the age of 99 on New Year's Eve just ahead of her birthday. Her death certificate said she died from a stroke she suffered 6 days previously, according to ABC News.

 

White's publicist refuted conspiracy theories online trying to link her death to the vaccine booster shot based on a fake quote that was being circulated by many on social media.

 

"People are saying her death was related to getting a booster shot three days earlier, but that is not true. She died of natural causes. Her death should not be politicized β€” that is not the life she lived," said Jeff Witjas to People magazine.

 

Hogan previously opined in April, 2020, that perhaps God had sent the coronavirus pandemic in order to strip people of the things they worshipped instead of focusing on God.

 

"Maybe we don't need a vaccine," said Hogan at the time. "Maybe we need to take this time of isolation from the distractions of the world and have a personal revival where we focus on the ONLY thing in the world that really matters. Jesus."

 

CDC Director Rochelle Walensky said in November that unvaccinated people were 14 times more likely than vaccinated people to die from COVID-related complications, while they were also nine times more likely to be hospitalized due to coronavirus complications.

Once upon a time in America, a high-profile federal prosecution imploding amid credible accusations of FBI entrapment would earn wall-to-wall headlines in the national news media. A wife-beating FBI agent who used at least one criminal informant and a dozen more government assets to concoct a plot to abduct a sitting governorβ€”intended to create damaging headlines for an incumbent president right before Election Dayβ€”would receive nonstop coverage on cable and broadcast news outlets.

Social media would be flooded with all the juicy details. Names like β€œRichard Trask” and β€œStephen Robeson” would be household names.

But none of that is happening with the Justice Department’s rapidly crumbling case against several men arrested for allegedly conspiring to kidnap Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer from her vacation cottage in the fall of 2020. Defense attorneys have made a strong case that without the FBI’s guiding handβ€”and deep pockets courtesy of American taxpayersβ€”the scheme never would have materialized past random social media chatter.

β€œ[The] undisputed evidence . . . establishes that government agents and informants concocted, hatched, and pushed this β€˜kidnapping plan’ from the beginning, doing so against defendants who explicitly repudiated the plan,” five defense attorneys wrote in a December 25 motion, one of several defense filings that details proof of an elaborate FBI operation to lure their clients into the abduction caper.

And the bad actors in the government’s script keep finding themselves in more trouble.

Richard Trask, the lead FBI agent on the case, was fired for physically assaulting his wife in a drunken rage following a swinger party last summer. Body-camera footage made public last month shows a shirtless and clearly inebriated Trask being arrested by local police. (He was not charged with driving under the influence.)

A Michigan news station recently unearthed Trask’s Trump-hating rants posted on social media in 2020. β€œIf you still support our piece of shit president you can fuck off,” Trask wrote on Facebook at the same time he was β€œinvestigating” threats against Whitmer. Trask said he hoped people who support Trump β€œburn in hell.”

Two other FBI agents working with Trask at the Detroit FBI field office who handled multiple informants also have been dismissed from the case; FBI agent Jayson Chambers is accused of running a security business on the side and FBI agent Henrik Impola is accused of committing perjury in another case. The Justice Department just notified the court that Trask, Chambers, and Impola are no longer on the government’s witness list.

And just when it looked like things couldn’t get worse for prosecutors, Stephen Robeson, a main informant and convicted felon, has been charged with committing two other crimes while directing the Whitmer kidnapping ruse. Prosecutors last week accused Robeson of acting as a β€œdouble agent.” Prosecutors said Robeson β€œbroke an agreement with the FBI by offering charity money to buy weapons to be used in attacks, illegally obtained weapons, and offered personal equipment, including a drone, to aid in committing domestic terrorism.”

Not only is Robeson off the government’s witness list but the Justice Department is fighting to stop defense attorneys from presenting damning evidence of Robeson’s involvement during the trial scheduled to begin in March.

All of this salacious drama should be front-page news. After all, when the Justice Department announced the kidnapping charges in a press release on October 8, 2020, it was a bonanza for the corporate media right before Election Day. The shocking news resulted in widespread condemnation of Donald Trump, blamed once again for promoting violence against his political opponents and emboldening so-called β€œmilitia” groups loyal to him.

Whitmer made an emotional statement the day the charges were announced, accusing Trump of encouraging β€œdomestic terrorists” who tried kill her; Joe Biden, quickly siezing on the politically advantageous moment, blasted Trump’s β€œdog whistles” to violent extremists.

Dozens of articles and columns were posted at the New York Times, the Washington Post, Politico, and other influential publications in a matter of hours. β€œA thwarted plot could thwart Trump,” two Politico reporters predicted. Mary McCord, a former Obama Justice Department official and perpetual Trump antagonist, had a New York Times column ready to go on the very same day her former employer publicly revealed the plot. (McCord now is advising the January 6 select committee.)

The Washington Post published a guest column by Whitmer herself on October 9, repeating her allegations that Trump was responsible. In fact, Whitmer made the media rounds for days, conveniently playing the victim to Trump’s villain as early voting was underway in her swing state.

β€œIt’s incredibly disturbing that the President of the United States, 10 days after a plot to kidnap, put me on trial and execute me, 10 days after that was uncovered, the President is at it again and inspiring and incentivizing and inciting this kind of domestic terrorism,” Whitmer complained on NBC’s β€œMeet the Press.”

CNN ran numerous articles about the thwarted plot. Jake Tapper confronted both Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson, a Republican, and Lara Trump with accusations that the president was responsible for the alleged attack. β€œWhy does he continue to use such heightened rhetoric at a time when her life was literally in danger, according to the FBI?” Tapper asked Lara Trump on October 18.

Considering all the histrionics and allegations that Trump incited a potential domestic terror attackβ€”attempted murder, even!β€”it seems that these same journalists would eagerly cover all the evidence emerging in the case ahead of the March 8 trial. But the Whitmer kidnapping plot hasn’t just been memory-holed by the national media, it faces what one can only assume is a coordinated and intentional news blackout. Tapper, a copious tweeter, has not tweeted anything about the Whitmer kidnapping ruse since October 2020. CNN, the Washington Post, the New York Times, and Politico haven’t published any news about the Whitmer case in months.

MSNBC aired one interview last month on recent defense motions to dismiss the case on grounds of entrapment; former prosecutor Joyce Vance opined that there is a β€œzero chance” a Michigan judge will drop the federal charges.

The last time the New York Times printed Richard Trask’s name was in October 2020 after he testified that rogue β€œmilitia groups” were involved in the kidnapping plot. Ditto for October 2020 mentions in Politico and CNN. Trask’s name is dying in darkness over at the Washington Post, which has never published his name in any Whitmer-related article. Apparently a federal cop who nearly strangled his wife to death after a swinger party then received a slap-on-the-wrist sentence for the assault is of no interest to the otherwise man- and cop-loathing reporters and columnists at the nation’s most influential news organizations.

To its credit, BuzzFeed is the only outlet on the Left that has relentlessly covered the government’s imploding prosecution. BuzzFeed reporters Ken Bensinger and Jessica Garrison have produced a string of detailed investigative reports worthy of awards despite an obvious political slant.

So, why the media blackout? Because the news media know that any coverage of the FBI-concocted plot to β€œkidnap” Gretchen Whitmer will bolster suspicions that the FBI played a key if not primary role in the events leading up to, and including, January 6. After all, the Justice Department continually ties the two events together, describing both as acts of β€œdomestic terror” and blaming President Trump for both.

Big Tech recently banned two additional prominent social media accounts, those of Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene and of the inventor of mRNA technology, Robert Malone. What is less clear is why their accounts were banned.

 

A year ago, President Trump was thrown off Twitter, again without any cogent explanation as to what he had done wrong. The official excuse that he was banned because he tweeted that he would not attend the Jan 20 inauguration never passed the smell test.

 

If it’s not anything specific they said, why are so many prominent accounts banned by Big Tech? And at whose behest?

 

The answer to that question lies squarely in what is known as Section 230. Section 230 is the 1996 law that exempts social media companies from liability for what their users post. Without Section 230, big social media companies could not exist.

 

And so it is that these companies will do anything to ensure they keep Section 230 protections, including doing the government’s bidding to deplatform unwanted voices.

New documents published by Project Veritas claim that White House Chief Medical Advisor Dr. Anthony Fauci directly funded controversial research into bat coronaviruses in China. Fauci has previously denied this.

 

Fauci has testified under oath that the National Institutes of Health did not fund so-called β€œgain-of-function” research into bat-borne coronaviruses at the Wuhan Institute of Virology in China. The theory that AIDS originated in the laboratory has been circulating

in Europe, particularly in West Germany, since late 1986.

 

The theory hinges on the claim that the AIDS virus (HIV) is virtually

identical to two other viruses: Visna, which causes a fatal disease in

sheep but does not infect humans, and HTLV-I (Human T-Cell Leukemia

Virus), which infects humans but is seldom fatal.

 

Prof. Jakob Segal, the author of the theory, says that structural

analysis using genome mapping proves that HIV is more similar to Visna

than to any other retrovirus. The portion (about three percent) of the

HIV genome which does not correspond structurally to Visna corresponds

exactly to part of the HTLV-I genome.

 

This similarity, says Segal, cannot be explained by a natural process of

evolution and mutation. It can only have resulted from an artificial

combination of the two viruses.

 

He notes that the symptoms of AIDS are consistent with the complementary

effects of two different viruses. AIDS patients who do not die of the

consequences of immune deficiency show the same damage to the brain,

lungs, intestines, and kidneys that occurs in sheep affected with Visna.

Combining Visna with HTLV-I would allow the virus to enter not only the

macrophages of the inner organs but also the T4 lymphocytes and thus

cause immune deficiency, which is exactly what AIDS does.

 

As further evidence that HIV is a construct of Visna and HTLV- I, Segal

cites studies which show that the reverse transcription process in HIV

has two discrete points of peak activity which correspond, respectively,

to those of Visna and HTLV-I.

 

AIDS is thus, according to Segal, essentially a variety of Visna. This

has important implications for research, since a cure or vaccine might

be found sooner by studying Visna in sheep than by concentrating, as at

present, on monkeys.

 

The theory of the African origin of AIDS, that it developed in African

monkeys and was transferred to man, has been abandoned by most

researchers. All of the known varieties of SIV (Simian Immunodeficiency

Virus) are structurally so dissimilar to HIV (much less similar than HIV

and Visna) that a common origin is out of the question. Furthermore,

even if such a development by natural mutation were possible, it would

not explain the sudden outbreak of AIDS in the early 1980s, since

monkeys and men have been living together in Africa since the beginning

of human history.

 

The "Africa Legend," as it is called in a 1988 West German

(Westdeutscher Rundfunk) television documentary, is further debunked by

the epidemiological history of AIDS. There is no solid evidence of AIDS

in Africa before 1983. The earliest documented cases of AIDS date from

1979 in New York.

 

In addition to the WDR documentary and occasional mention in magazines

like Stern and Spiegel, Segal's work has been published in West Germany

(AIDS-Erreger aus dem Gen-Labor? [AIDS-Virus from the Gene Laboratory?],

Kuno Kruse, ed., Berlin: Simon & Leutner, 1987) and India (with Lilli

Segal, The Origin of AIDS, Trichur, India: Kerala Sastra Sahitya

Parishad, 1989). He has also been conducting lecture tours in West

Germany.

 

Scientific journals, Segal says, have refused to publish or discuss his

theory. This is difficult to understand. If he is wrong, he should

certainly be refuted. The cornerstone of the theory is that HIV is a

combination of Visna and HTLV-I. Segal claims that any trained

laboratory technician could produce AIDS from these components, today,

in less than two weeks. If this is true, it should be demonstrable by

experiment.

 

The next question is, if it is possible to produce HIV from Visna and

HTLV-I now, was it also possible in 1977, when

Segal claims the AIDS

virus was created? He says it was, by use of the less precise "shotgun"

method of gene manipulation available then, though it would have taken

longer–about six months. If this is true, it should also be

demonstrable.

 

The final question would be: Was it produced in a laboratory? Segal

believes he has shown that it was, but he goes further than that. He

also believes he knows who produced it and why. Segal quotes from a

document presented by a Pentagon official named Donald MacArthur on June

9, 1969, to a Congressional committee, in which $10 million is requested

to develop, over the next 5 to 10 years, a new, contagious micro-

organism which would destroy the human immune system.

 

Whether such research is categorized as "offensive" or "defensive"is

immaterial: in order to defend oneself against apossible new virus, so

the reasoning goes, one must first develop the virus.

 

Since the Visna virus was already well known, Segal continues, the

problem was to find a human retrovirus that would enable it to infect

humans. Scrutiny of the technical literature, Segal says, reveals that

Dr. Robert Gallo isolated such a virus, HTLV-I, by 1975, though it was

not given this name until later.

 

1975 was also the year the virus section of Fort Detrick (the US Army's

center for biological warfare research in Frederick, Maryland) was

renamed the Frederick Cancer Research Facilities and placed under the

supervision of the National Cancer Institute, Gallo's employer.

 

It was there, in the P4 (high-security) laboratory at Fort Detrick,

according to Segal, where the AIDS virus was actually created, between

the fall of 1977 and spring of 1978. Six months is precisely the time it

would have taken, using the techniques available then, to create the

AIDS virus from Visna and HTLV-I.

 

Segal claims that the new virus was then tested on convicts who

volunteered for the experiment in return for their release from prison.

Failing to show any early symptoms of disease, the prisoners were

released after six months. Some were homosexual, and went to New York,

where the disease was first attested in 1979.

 

The researchers had not counted on creating a disease with such a long

incubation period. (One year is relatively short for AIDS, but would not

be unusual if the infection was induced by high- dosage injections.) If

the researchers had kept their human guinea pigs under observation for a

longer time, they would have detected the disease and been able to

contain it.

 

In other words, Segal claims that AIDS is the result of a germ warfare

research experiment gone awry.

 

In an interview on April 18, 1987, published in the Dutch newspaper De

Volkskrant, Dr. Gallo describes Segal's theory as KGB propaganda.

 

Segal, who is Russian (Lithuanian Jewish) but has been a professor of

biology (now emeritus) at Humboldt University in East Berlin since 1953,

is a bit old (78) to be starting a career as a propagandist. Soviet and

East German officials, for their part, have maintained a discreet

silence on the matter, for reasons of realpolitik, Segal believes.

 

The question of whether AIDS is man-made or not cannot be answered by

dismissing it as propaganda.

 

Segal believes he has answered the question. We do not have to believe

him, but we do have to believe that the following questions are

answerable:

 

1) Can HIV be produced by combining Visna and HTLV-I in the laboratory

now?

2) Can it be produced using the techniques available in 1977?

3) What did go on at Ft. Detrick between 1969 and 1978? What were the

results of the $10 million Pentagon research project announced on June

9, 1969?
