Mayhem in Kazakhstan: Police Officers Beheaded, Stores Looted, Hospitals Surrounded

 

Protests in Kazakhstan have been going on for several days, with some of the demonstrations evolving into violent riots that see protesters clashing with law enforcement officers and damaging government and civilian buildings.

Nationwide violent protests in Kazakhstan have already left 353 law enforcement officers injured, with some 13 killed, according to state broadcaster Khabar 24.

Two of the dead officers were beheaded, the report noted.

Situation in Almaty

The Kazakh city of Almaty - the country's largest - remains the flashpoint of the violence. The city administration has been set on fire and was reported to still be burning as of 2 p.m. local time on Thursday.

On Thursday, it was reported that the offices of five broadcasters in the city were looted and ransacked: Mir, Qazaqstan, Khabar, Channel One Eurasia, and KTK. One employee was slightly injured, according to Informburo.kz.

Two hospitals in Almaty were blocked by protesters, Deputy Mayor Yerzhan Babakumarov said.

 

"Now terrorist groups have blocked access roads to the first and seventh hospitals of the city. Ambulances cannot deliver patients, but the hospitals themselves are carrying on their work as normal", Babakumarov said, according to a Sputnik correspondent.

UK Government is Colluding with the WEF on Artificial Intelligence for The Great Reset

 

The UK government confirms it is playing a leading role on global AI ethics and regulations and that it published Guidelines on AI Procurement in collaboration with the World Economic Forum Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

 

According to Ernst Wolff, German author and journalist, we are sitting right in the middle of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, and expect, in the period ahead of us, the loss of millions and millions of jobs due to the introduction of artificial intelligence (AI). What has happened since March 2020 is according to a plan which can be read in books about the Fourth Industrial Revolution and the Great Reset by Klaus Schwab, whose World Economic Forum (WEF) plays a key role in this whole agenda.

 

β€œThe UK has a history of innovation-friendly approaches to regulation, in areas such as FinTech, HealthTech and online harms,” Matt Warman MP responded on 15 June 2021 to a parliamentary written question.

 

Two members of the UK’s Healthtech Advisory Board are Daniel Korski and Nicole Junkermann. Everything about Korski points to military intelligence and Junkermann is a Mossad-linked Jeffrey Epstein associate, wrote investigative journalist Johnny Vedmore. As for Fintech, the digital-financial complex stands ready at all times to bring every government cabinet in the world to its knees and make it compliant, said Wolff.

OECD’S former Secretary-General, Angel GurrΓ­a, is included on the list of β€œPeople Killing Humanity” compiled by Dr. David Martin. Democrats quietly explore barring Trump from office over Jan. 6

 

In the year since the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol, a handful of Democrats, constitutional scholars and pro-democracy advocates have been quietly exploring how a post-Civil War amendment to the Constitution might be used to disqualify former President Trump from holding office again.

 

Calls for Congress to take steps to strip Trump of his eligibility, which reached a crescendo in the aftermath of the Jan. 6 riot, have since decreased. But those who remain engaged on the issue say discussions about applying Section 3 of the 14th Amendment have been ongoing.

 

β€œIf anything, the idea has waxed and waned,” said Laurence Tribe, a constitutional expert at Harvard Law School. β€œI hear it being raised with considerable frequency these days both by media commentators and by members of Congress and their staffs, some of whom have sought my advice on how to implement Section 3.”

 

An analysis by The Hill found that around a dozen Democratic lawmakers have spoken either publicly or privately over the last year about how Section 3 of the 14th Amendment might apply to those who engaged in insurrection on Jan. 6.

 

Among those whose offices have spoken recently with Tribe are Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Md.), who sits on the Jan. 6 House Select Committee; Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-N.Y.), who chairs the powerful House Judiciary Committee; and Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fla.).

 

β€œI continue to explore all legal paths to ensure that the people who tried to subvert our democracy are not in charge of it,” Wasserman Schultz told The Hill.

 

Nadler and Raskin did not respond to a request for comment.

 

Section 3 of the 14th Amendment, which was ratified after the Civil War, says that officeholders who "have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same" are disqualified from future office.

 

Raskin, a former constitutional law professor, served as a House manager during Trump’s impeachment trial over his role in the Jan. 6 attack. Days after Trump's acquittal in the Senate, Raskin discussed the constitutional provision in a press interview, saying Trump was β€œright in the bullseye middle of that group."

 

"The point is that the constitutional purpose is clear, to keep people exactly like Donald Trump and other traitors to the union from holding public office," he told ABC News on Feb. 17, adding that the legal mechanics would require "more research."

 

Most constitutional scholars who spoke to The Hill think the provision is not β€œself-executing.” In practical terms, that means applying Section 3 to Trump would require an additional step by lawmakers to make the 14th Amendment operative.

Controversial Chinese Tech Billionaire Gives Millions to Elite American Universities

 

Ma Huateng's company censors the Chinese internet and spies on users

 

A Chinese tech billionaire whose company censors the internet in China has donated millions of dollars to MIT and Princeton University and advises two Ivy League schools on expanding their presence in China.

 

Ma Huateng, the founder of Tencent, has given at least $5 million to Princeton through his personal charity since 2017 and $5 million since 2018 to MIT, according to previously unreported Department of Education records. Ma also serves on the advisory boards for the Yale Center Beijing and the Cornell China Center, where he and other Chinese business leaders advise the schools on developing partnerships in China. Tencent's charity contributed $900,000 to Columbia University in 2017, according to the Department of Education records.

 

As Ma forged ties to the schools, the Chinese government enlisted Tencent and other tech firms as part of an ambitious plan to dominate the field of artificial intelligence by 2030. The Defense Department said in a report last year that China plans to use technology developed by the firms for both commercial and military purposes.

 

In addition to national security concerns, the schools' ties to Tencent are also at odds with their purported liberal values. Tencent, which Ma founded in 1998, has censored criticism of the government on its platforms and snoops on users of its text message service, WeChat. The company reportedly surveilled foreign users of WeChat in order to refine its censorship capabilities in China. Tencent censored National Basketball Association games in 2019 after an executive for the Houston Rockets franchise expressed support for pro-democracy protesters in Hong Kong. The company pulled Boston Celtics games in October after one of the franchise's players, Enes Kanter Freedom, accused the Chinese Communist Party and leader Xi Jinping of human rights abuses.

 

There are numerous examples of China buying access to American universities. The Chinese government has given millions of dollars to hundreds of U.S. schools to host Confucius Institutes, which Beijing allegedly uses to push pro-regime propaganda. The Department of Education has investigated several universities that received donations from Chinese tech firms such as Huawei and ZTE. And Chinese military-linked entities funneled $88 million to American schools over a six-year period, according to a Washington Free Beacon analysis.

 

The Ma Huateng Foundation gave $5 million in grants in 2017 to fund the Princeton Center on Contemporary China's China Impact Project, which studies how American news media has shaped public perception of China. Ma and the Princeton center sponsored a special issue in the Journal of Contemporary China last year on the topic.

 

The Washington Free Beacon reported that the founder of a Communist Party-linked think tank, the China-U.S. Exchange Foundation, is a major funder of the Princeton center. The Ma Huateng Foundation also funded a study by Princeton researchers last year on cybersecurity.

Global research on Omicron COVID surge raises more questions about Biden's unvaccinated blame game

 

A new Canadian study found two-dose mRNA vaccines are "not protective against" the latest variant, while data from Denmark show reinfections among two-dose vaccine recipients have surpassed those of the unvaccinated.

 

President Biden's oft-repeated belief that COVID-19 remains a "pandemic of the unvaccinated" is running headlong into global data on the real-world performance of vaccines against the Omicron variant, which the CDC estimates now accounts for 19 in 20 U.S. infections.

 

A new study by Ontario, Canada's public health agency and health researchers at Canadian universities found that two-dose mRNA vaccines are "not protective against" the new variant, while the booster shot only improves effectiveness to 37% seven or more days later.

 

That's in stark contrast to the 93% effectiveness against the Delta variant they observed among vaccinated and boosted individuals seven or more days later. Researchers reviewed provincial data on 3,442 Omicron positives, 9,201 Delta positives and 471,545 "test-negative controls."

 

There were important differences between the populations testing positive for each variant. Omicron cases were 10 years younger on average, more likely to be male and two-dose vaccinated, and less likely to have "any comorbidities" or a booster, relative to controls. Delta cases were far less likely to be vaccinated at all, relative to controls.

 

Digging further into the preprint, which hasn't been peer-reviewed, California-based epidemiologist Tracy Hoeg was floored that two-dose vaccination actually reduced protection from reinfection by Omicron 38% four to six months after injection, and 42% by eight months.

 

"Why mandate?" Hoeg tweeted while acknowledging the Ontario Public Health study didn't look at vaccine effectiveness against severe COVID infections.

Death by Covid Injection Is Premeditated and Co-ordinated, Experts Conclude

 

Evidence showing patterns of death seen by Covid injection batches or lots were discussed during a session with two lawyers and two doctors. The two lawyers, Dr. Reiner Fuellmich and Vivienne Fischer, are members of the Corona Investigative Committee who were joined by Dr. Wolfgang Wodarg and Dr. Sam White.

 

Dr. Wodarg, a German medical doctor and former politician, was instrumental in bringing to an end the falsified 2009 Swine Flu pandemic and Dr. Sam White, a UK medical doctor, has been engaged in lawsuits for many months for his stance regarding freedom of speech and informed consent.

 

β€œA recent presentation done by Dr. Michael Yeadon shows precisely how they use these different batches in order to have an experiment within an experiment. In order to try out what kind of dosages is needed in order, this is what it looks like, in order to kill people and maim people,” Dr. Fuellmich said, β€œthis in inescapable, at least this is my view as a lawyer, this is inescapable evidence of there being premeditation. And once you have premeditation there is no immunity for anyone anymore. Not even in the United States.”

 

β€œIt is not true that there is the same stuff in each shot,” Dr Wodarg said. Adding that there is hard evidence that the batches have different effects. Dr. Wodarg presented graphs and explained what they revealed including that when one pharmaceutical company, for example Pfizer, was conducting an experiment on the population with their injections, the other companies will not. Then another company will experiment and, for example, Pfizer will stop their experiment within the experiment. It is a co-ordinated effort. β€œThis is proof that it is planned,” Dr. Wodarg said.

 

β€œFrom these graphs, you can show intent. [The pharmaceutical companies] are deliberately using different dosages, co-ordinated with each other so that they won’t interfere with each other, in order to try and find out what kills the best or what maims the best,” said Dr. Fuellmich.

During their discussion Dr. Fuellmich referred to a presentation by Dr. Mike Yeadon. It’s not clear to which presentation he was referring but a Telegram post on 29 November by Dr. Yeadon explained the β€œdose range-finding for lethal outcomes”:

 

β€œYou’ll be aware that one of our assiduous researchers noticed a short while ago that adverse events are not occurring randomly throughout the batches & lots of vaccines made by a given manufacturer.

 

β€œInstead, it appears that just 5% of the batches / lots are associated with almost all the deaths.

 

β€œGiven the tight requirements of consistency associated with an authorised product, it’s absolutely impossible that this is a chance event.

 

β€œNo: this is, I regret to say, unequivocal evidence of malfeasance.

 

β€œIn brief, they’ve uncovered striking evidence of what’s called DOSE RANGE-FINDING for lethal outcomes.”

 

A dose-ranging study is a clinical trial where different doses of an agent (e.g., a drug) are tested against each other to establish which dose works best and/or is least harmful. However, in the case of the experimental Covid injections this is being used for the opposite reasons: to establish which dose is most harmful.

 

Dr. Yeadon continued, β€œif you harboured any residual doubts about whether there is or not a depopulation agenda, this presentation destroys that doubt.” Dr. Yeadon shared two links: one for the video below; and, a second to a document prepared by Craig Paardekooper using Pfizer as an example to explain what he had discovered.

The War on Terror Is a Success β€” for Terror

 

Nick Turse reports on the proliferation of U.S. military targets since U.S. Congress gave successive presidents an essentially free hand to make war around the world.

 

It began more than two decades ago. On Sept. 20, 2001, President George W. Bush declared a β€œwar on terror” and told a joint session of Congress (and the American people) that β€œthe course of this conflict is not known, yet its outcome is certain.”

 

If he meant a 20-year slide to defeat in Afghanistan, a proliferation of militant groups across the Greater Middle East and Africa, and a never-ending, world-spanning war that, at a minimum, has killed about 300 times the number of people murdered in America on 9/11, then give him credit. He was absolutely right.

 

Days earlier, Congress had authorized Bush:

 

β€œto use all necessary and appropriate force against those nations, organizations, or persons he determine[d] planned, authorized, committed, or aided the terrorist attacks that occurred on September 11, 2001 or harbored such organizations or persons.”

 

By then, it was already evident, as Bush said in his address, that al-Qaeda was responsible for the attacks. A year later, a now-infamous call between President Trump and his advisers with Georgia election regulators is still generating attention, with even a local prosecutor and the Jan. 6 commission in Congress inquiring whether the call violated any laws.

In an interview with Just the News, Raffensperger pointedly declined to say anything threatening or illegal happened on the call, though he previously has claimed in a book he took the call as a threat.

 

"Well, it's pretty obvious what the president wanted," Raffensperger said during an interview aired Tuesday on the John Solomon Reports podcast. "We all want to win. I get that."

The allegations came from a conservative voter integrity group called True the Vote and include video footage of people stuffing ballots into drop boxes, smartphone geospatial data showing possible ballot couriers near the drop boxes and statements from one man who told the group he participated in the illegal ballot-gathering scheme along with others and nonprofit groups, according to the group's complaint.

 

Raffensperger's office is particularly interested in the potential witness, identified in the complaint as John Doe, and has launched a full investigation.

 

"If people give us, you know, credible allegations, we want to make sure that we do that," Raffensperger told Just the News. "And we have that right now as an ongoing investigation."

 

In a recently published book,Raffensperger claimed he felt threatened by the call. "I felt then β€” and still believe today β€” that this was a threat," he wrote. "Others obviously thought so, too, because some of Trump's more radical followers have responded as if it was their duty to carry out this threat."

 

But in Tuesday's interview, he pointedly declined to say he was threatened to take any action or that anything illegal happened, dismissing the call as "just a conversation."

 

"Do you think there was something illegal or threatening to you personally, that violated the law?" Raffensperger was asked Tuesday.

 

"I'm an engineer and not a lawyer, so I don't know about that aspect," he answered. "But I just think we had a conversation and obviously I just respectfully wanted to let President Trump know there wasn't the votes there. I know they didn't like the facts, but those were the facts.

The 2020 presidential election was unlike any in American history.

 

Hundreds of laws and processes were changed in the months leading up to the election, sometimes legally and sometimes not, creating chaos, confusion, and uncertainty. Tech oligarch Mark Zuckerberg, one of the world’s wealthiest and most powerful men, spent $419 million β€” nearly as much as the federal government itself β€” to interfere in the government’s management of the election in key states.

 

Powerful tech oligarchs and corrupt propaganda press conspired to keep indisputably important news stories, such as allegations of corruption regarding the Biden family business, hidden from voters in the weeks prior to voting. Information operations were routinely manufactured about President Trump in the closing months of the campaign, including the false claim that Russians paid bounties for dead American soldiers and Trump didn’t care, and that Trump had called dead American soldiers losers. Both were disputed by dozens of on-the-record sources.

 

Effective conservative voices were censored by the social media arms of the Democrat Party. And all this was done after the establishment spent years running an unprecedented β€œResistance” that falsely claimed Trump was a traitor who had colluded with Russia to steal the 2016 election.

 

It’s not surprising that polls show most Republicans are deeply concerned about the integrity of such an election. If anything, it’s surprising that all of them aren’t screaming from the rooftops about it. But it is interesting and telling how little the media and other Democrats are willing to talk about efforts to rig the election.

 

With the exception of a single Time Magazine article admitting there was a β€œconspiracy” by a β€œa well-funded cabal of powerful people” who worked to β€œchange rules and laws, steer media coverage and control the flow of information,” to create a β€œrevolution in how people vote,” corporate media have largely kept silent about or downplayed how the establishment secured its victory for their man Joe Biden.

 

Time’s article didn’t come out until February 4, 2021, but in the months prior to its publication, Republicans grew increasingly concerned that the rigging it described had, in fact, happened.

 

Their desire for free and fair elections they could trust, elections that β€œwell-funded cabals of powerful people” weren’t able to rig, resulted in mass protests following the November election. The fact that the election was exceedingly close didn’t help matters.

 

Media and other left-wing pollsters had put out preposterous suppression polls to help Biden get over the finish line. For example, the Washington Post’s final poll claimed Biden would win the swing state of Wisconsin by 17 points, indicating a nationwide blowout of historic proportions. (He won it by seven-tenths of a percent.) The actual outcome took weeks to calculate and came down to just 43,000 votes across three states, even closer than Trump’s close victory over Hillary Clinton in 2016.

 

The media and other Democrats have used the January 6 riot at the Capitol as a way to ignore legitimate concerns about what they did to the election system, and as a way to continue the assault on election security.

 

As part of their political operation, they have used a propaganda technique of redefining efforts to secure the integrity of elections as attacks on democracy.

Nassau County exec signs order defying Hochul’s β€˜autocracy’ on mask mandates

 

In direct defiance of Gov. Kathy Hochul, newly installed Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman wants to let school districts decide if kids must wear masks inside buildings.

 

The Republican official signed a trio of executive orders Thursday β€” including one that would give Nassau’s school boards the ability to scrap student mask mandates.

 

Arguing that Albany was imposing an β€œautocracy” upon the state, Blakeman repeatedly ripped Hochul’s mask decrees prior to the signing.

 

β€œSchool boards are comprised of elected officials who make decisions based upon the unique circumstances of each district,” Blakeman said at a Thursday press conference. β€œThey are in the best position to make these decisions, not an autocracy in Albany.”

 

Blakeman said he was confident that the order carries sufficient legal weight to enable districts to defy state masking rules, but that remains to be seen.

 

β€œThis executive order gives the school districts their own individual right to make decisions within the county under our home rule authority that we have as a county,” he said. β€œOur county is larger than nine states and we don’t need people in Albany telling us what we should be doing.”

 

Blakeman signed two additional orders, one that allows public county workers to not wear masks indoors and another that formalizes his decision not to enforce Hochul’s mask mandates that β€œunfairly fine residents and small businesses thousands of dollars.”

 

β€œWe are taking a very aggressive approach in fighting COVID-19,” he said. β€œBut this aggressive approach must be balanced by keeping in mind the psychological and economic risks of every decision we make as well as individual constitutional rights.”

 

Blakeman also announced that the county will double distribution of free test kits this weekend, establish free vaccination sites and provide KN95 masks to all private and public school teachers and employees.

 

β€œI think there is an unreasonable focus on these masks, especially the paper mask,” he said. β€œThe data is not there that they materially provide the kind of protection that people would want. It’s a false sense of security. So what we are doing here in Nassau County is we’re doing meaningful things, we’re doing material things.”

 

Blakeman reiterated that Nassau cops and firefighters won’t enforce mask-related mandates from the state.

 

β€œThey have far more important things to do than chase people around to see if they are wearing masks,” he said. β€œThey will not be doing that.”

"I am nervous about coming forward, however, I believe this is becoming a health crisis and the public needs to know how dire the situation is inside the hospitals right now," she said.

 

Ms Halvorsen said under-staffing had left nursing staff "riddled with anxiety about what they're walking into every shift".

 

With staff on annual leave or off sick or isolating due to COVID-19, her high-dependency ward was down to a third of its usual number.

 

"People don't want to go in because it's so daunting," she said. "No-one wants to come near the place."

 

With fewer staff, she said nurses had less time to spend with patients.

 

"It's scary. We don't have the support to care for our patients the way they need to be cared for.

 

"There's fear around making a mistake. It's a big responsibility."

 

On top of the increased workload, staff are fearful for their own safety.

 

In recent weeks, Ms Halvorsen said the hospital was so short-staffed she had witnessed colleagues who were close contacts and should be isolating being told to stay and finish their shifts.

 

"They're told to get tested, keep their mask on and only go home if they test positive," she said.

 

This, she believed, was putting patients and other staff members in danger.

 

"Where's our protection?" she said. "My colleagues have families they are going home to."

 

A spokesperson for the Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) said there were clear guidelines on when health care workers who were close contacts needed to isolate.

 

"We support asymptomatic staff to continue working safely where those guidelines permit them to do so," the spokesperson said.

Psaki said that 96% of schools are open. Chicago Public Schools, one of the nation's largest districts, made headlines Wednesday after the teachers union voted to return to online learning.

A record number of more than 1 million new COVID cases were reported Monday in the United States. The peak is expected to come by the end of January, largely driven by the omicron variant.

 

The number of school closures is up from Tuesday when 3,229 K-12 public schools were disrupted, according to Burbio.

 

The White House has reportedly distributed $130 billion in funding to school districts for COVID "mitigation measures."

 

The Biden administration is also encouraging children to be vaccinated against COVID and instituted a test-to-stay policy to keep kids in schools. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on Wednesday expanded Pfizer booster vaccine eligibility to children ages 12 to 15.

Uber charged motorist stranded on I-95 in the snow storm $700 for his ride

A man attempting to get home from a trip to California was charged a whopping $700 for an Uber trip during which he and the rideshare driver got caught in the 48-mile backup on Interstate 95 that occurred earlier this week.

 

Andrew Peters had decided to "Uber" the 127 miles from Dulles International Airport, in northern Virginia, to his home in Richmond, Virginia – a $200 trip. But he and the driver almost immediately got stuck.

 

"We hopped on the first exit and then it was just, we stopped moving right there," Peters told a local NBC-TV station in Washington, D.C. "There were cars behind us. There was nowhere to go. It was like being in some weird parking lot."

 

After spending 14 hours total on the trip, Peters made it to his destination and tipped his driver $100. Later, though, the rideshare service added an unexpected $400 surcharge, which brought the trip total to $701.47. Peters' flight from San Francisco to Dulles cost just $300, for context.

 

"It ticked me off because I had no way of knowing that I would be stuck in this traffic jam for that long, and I don’t feel like that’s fair because they have the directions. I have no say in which way the Uber goes," he said.

 

Ultimately, Uber returned the money to Peters and thanked him for his patience.

 

"We’re glad that he and the driver got home safely," said the company.

 

Peters confirmed that in 2022 he has resolved to be more thoughtful about calling a rideshare in the snow.

MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell has argued that his false claims of massive fraud in the 2020 election have a "scriptural basis" while suing the House Select Committee on January 6 over a subpoena of his phone records.

 

The conservative pillow magnate revealed the existence of what he called a "corrupt" subpoena from the committee in a text message to CNBC on Wednesday, while insisting that his legal team had taken action to "completely invalidate" the subpoena.

 

"I wasn't there on January 6th and yes they did subpoena my phone records but we filed a complaint for declaratory and injunctive relief against the January 6th committee and Verizon to completely invalidate this corrupt subpoena," Lindell told the outlet.

 

In a legal complaint filed on the same day against the committee, its individual members and Verizon, lawyers for Lindellβ€”a staunch supporter of former President Donald Trump's false claims of massive voter fraud in the 2020 presidential electionβ€”argue that he is the victim of religious discrimination.

 

The suit contends that Lindell's promotion of the false fraud claims were "are motivated, in part, by his strongly held religious beliefs," noting that Lindell has said there is an unspecified "scriptural basis for" the claims.

 

"Mr. Lindell's activities are widely known," the suit states. "His speeches and publications regularly articulate his religious belief and the scriptural basis for it. He regularly associates with others holding similar religious beliefs to organize 2020 election integrity activities."

 

Those "whose identity and association" with Lindell are not "publicly known" may "wish to have such contacts remain confidential," according to the suit. As a result, exposing the identities of like-minded religious confidantes who support his "efforts to raise awareness of alleged irregularities" would be a violation of Lindell's religious freedom.

 

"Compelling disclosure of Mr. Lindell's religious and political activities and associations is a violation of his First Amendment Freedom of Association rights, Free Exercise of Religion rights, as well as Freedom of Speech, Freedom of Press, and Freedom of Assembly rights," the document states.

 

"Enforcement of the Subpoena would violate the rights of Mr. Lindell and of his sources to freedom of religion, speech, press, political expression, and to associate with others to advance their shared beliefs," it continues. "These rights are guaranteed by the First Amendment."

My 1/6 story: I've been writing about QAnon since January 2018 - when almost nobody knew what it was or took it seriously. I took did, because I saw its similarities to scams and frauds that had lasted decades by promising the same thing Q promised, except in blood, not money.

Many of the "disinformation experts" who now write reams about what Q "really" is wouldn't have known a Q drop from a hole in the ground when I was screaming for people to look at it not as some internet cranks, but as a burgeoning prophecy cult with a kill list.

I've never waivered from my belief that Q is not some high-level conspiracy, but a primal urge to get back at the people who are keeping you down, and the need for out groups to form in groups - all exploited by cagey grifters and spineless politicians.

"QAnon" as we knew it from 2017 to early 2021 doesn't exist anymore. It doesn't need to. The ideas it espoused - a deep state cabal oppressing patriots, funded by Jewish money and propped up by corrupt experts and pundits - are so mainstream that they don't need "drops" anymore.

Everything converged on January 6th: the messianic worship of Trump, the desperate need his followers had to be heard and respected, their astonished outrage that the deep state puppet Joe Biden could possibly take office, and their lust for blood to run in the streets.

On 1/6, I was deep into writing my book on QAnon, and didn't want the distraction of yet another Trump rally. But even just casually glancing at Twitter, I knew something horrible was happening. So I turned on the TV - and saw everything I'd been screaming about come to fruition.

Years of warnings and writing and interviewing and pleading for people to not write Q believers off as flyover country cranks - yet there were Q t-shirts on rioters breaching the Capitol, looking for members of Congress to kill.

For a second, I felt I'd failed. But I needed to scream louder. Reinforce that this wasn't a once-in-a-lifetime riot - but the expression of angry, violent, cultists who were determined to make their prophecy come true and make the blood run in the streets. The blood Q promised.

Q is silent, and "the storm" never happened. But the people who believe it will, someday, if they just meme and pray hard enough, they're still out there. They're our friends and family.

And I'm here too. Still screaming. Still writing.

Only now, people are paying attention.

Here's something I'd never really thought about. If you read European history, the last thousand or so years have been dominated by the papacy, mainly because the, "royals," derived their, "legitimacy," from it. So that begs the question. Georgia opens investigation into ballot harvesting claims

WASHINGTON (TND) β€” Amid claims of ballot harvesting, Georgia has opened an investigation into the state's 2020 general election and subsequent U.S. Senate runoff.

 

Under Georgia law, it is illegal for any third party to pick up and drop off ballots for voters, also known as ballot harvesting. According to reports, at least 242 people made over 5,000 ballot drop-offs during the Georgia Senate runoff elections.

 

β€œCredible evidence was given to us that people were harvesting ballots,” said Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger to The National Desk’s Jan Jeffcoat. β€œThis information was provided to us and they said there's a witness, a 'John Doe.' And so we're looking at subpoenaing that person to get the information.”

 

According to JustTheNews, Raffensperger’s office received a detailed complaint from conservative watchdog group True the Vote, including an account of a Georgia man who said he received $10 per ballot delivered.

 

β€œWe’re going to have to subpoena John Doe because that’s where the information is. No one knows who that person is,” said Raffensperger. β€œWe need to find that out, find out who paid him.” After the election in 2020, Trump argued on a phone call that ballot harvesting and other election fraud had occurred, and pressured Raffensperger to conduct audits to prove his allegations.

 

β€œHe wanted us to look at things and we look at every single allegation that was made,” said Raffensperger. But as to whether the investigation into ballot harvesting raises concerns regarding the outcome of the 2020 election, Raffensperger says β€œwe’ll see where it takes us.”

 

β€œBallot harvesting, those are still lawful ballots, they’ve just been handled fraudulently. Many states actually allow ballot harvesting,” said Raffensperger. β€œWe outlawed it because we think that the only person that should touch the ballot is the voter and the election worker and there shouldn't be any people and intermediaries in between.”

 

The Fulton County Board of Elections recertified recount results for the presidential election earlier this month, amidst reports of widespread mismanagement and irregularities. A report from Carter Jones, an independent monitor who observed election operations in the county, delivered a 350-page report of β€œmismanagement,” according to Raffensperger.

 

β€œThis has been going on in Fulton County since 1993,” said Raffensperger. β€œIt's gross mismanagement, disorganization up and down the line.” The report from Jones didn’t include ballot stuffing or illegality, but β€œmismanagement is a breeding ground for conspiracy theories,” said Raffensperger.

 

β€œWe didn't get the information until November. So it’s really almost a year after the election. I don't know why the people were holding on to it. Why didn’t they bring it to us right away so we could have done an investigation immediately?” said Raffensperger. β€œBut be that as it may, we got the information to open up an investigation, and that's what we're going to do.”

 

While Raffensperger believes that most people will return to more traditional forms of voting in the upcoming midterm elections, he’s added additional safeguards to maintain election integrity.

 

β€œNow you have to send a copy of your driver's license to get your absentee ballot,” said Raffensperger. β€œAlso, the drop boxes have been moved inside.”
