Jimmy Fallon Says He Tested Positive for COVID-19 Despite Vaccination

 

Jimmy Fallon wrote on Instagram on Monday that he tested positive for COVID-19 β€œon the first day of our holiday break” but only experienced β€œmild symptoms.”

 

The β€˜Tonight Show’ host said he is vaccinated and has had a booster.

 

β€œThank you to the doctors and nurses who work so hard around the clock to get everyone vaxxed,” he wrote. β€œThank you to NBC for taking the testing protocols so seriously and doing a great jobβ€”and also thanks for putting me in the β€œWhat β€˜chu talkin’ about Willis?” isolation room when they told me the news.”

Illegal Alien Minors From Mexico Receive 'LGBTQ' Themed PiΓ±atas At New York Orphanage

 

Illegal alien minors are apparently being trafficked through Pennsylvania by the Biden regime before ultimately arriving New York orphanage, where they are subject to LGBTQ orientation featuring β€œaffirming” piΓ±atas.

 

Last week, National File reported that hundreds migrants landed at Pennsylvania’s Wilkes-Barre Scranton International Airport, including on Christmas Day. After arriving, they were reportedly loaded on buses and sent to unknown locations. According to GOP lawmakers, the Biden administration did not make anyone aware of the transfers, leading some to classify them as β€œghost flights.”

 

In response to the shocking reports, Pennsylvania Democrat Governor Tom Wolf dismissed the situation by claiming that the illegal aliens were simply children β€œpassing through” the state.

 

Some of Wolf’s claims seem to have been proved untrue, as at least one illegal alien was found to be a potential match on a man wanted for murder in Mexico, who was seen deboarding one of the flights in Pennsylvania, according to reports.

 

Hundreds of flights have been chartered from the U.S. Southern border to various states across the country through β€œWorld Atlantic” airlines.

Texas Senator Ted Cruz announced that he is of the opinion that the Republican party could bring impeachment proceedings against Joe Biden, should the GOP win control of the House again in the mid terms.

Manhattan DA to stop seeking prison sentences in slew of criminal cases

 

Manhattan’s new district attorney has ordered his prosecutors to stop seeking prison sentences in a slew of criminal cases, according to a set of progressive policies made public Tuesday.

 

In his first memo to staff on Monday, Alvin Bragg said his office β€œwill not seek a carceral sentence” except with homicides and a handful of other cases, including domestic violence felonies, some sex crimes and public corruption.

 

β€œThis rule may be excepted only in extraordinary circumstances based on a holistic

analysis of the facts, criminal history, victim’s input (particularly in cases of

violence or trauma), and any other information available,” the memo reads.

 

Assistant district attorneys must also now keep in mind the β€œimpacts of incarceration” including on public safety, barriers to housing and employment, financial cost and race disparities, Bragg instructed.

 

In cases where prosecutors do seek to put a convict behind bars, the request can be for no more than 20 years for a determinate sentence, meaning one that can’t be reviewed or changed by a parole board.

 

A civil rights lawyer and former federal prosecutor, he drew on his own experiences growing up in the 1980s in Harlem in his note to staff β€” and during the campaign β€” saying it has influenced his belief in reforming the criminal justice system.

 

β€œData, and my personal experiences, show that reserving incarceration for matters involving significant harm will make us safer,” the memo reads.

New Details Emerge on Afghan Refugees - Inside Source Reveals Truth About Vetting

 

When thousands of Afghans started coming into the U.S. during the Biden administration’s chaotic withdrawal from that country in August, there was an outcry among some on the right that these refugees were not being properly investigated. Near-hysteria hinged upon the idea that terrorists could have just been let into the homeland.

 

While the administration might not have done its part to properly vet Afghan refugees at the beginning of the evacuation, private individuals are working hard to make sure that the refugees being brought to the U.S. are not threats.

 

Ben Owen, owner and founder of data intelligence company BlackRifle and the nonprofit Flanders Field, has been volunteering to help vet Afghan refugees. He told The Western Journal that he and his organization are vetting all the Afghans they are helping to get out of danger.

 

Owen got involved after he was approached on Aug. 15, once the withdrawal had begun, and asked if his group would be interested in helping.

 

β€œPrimarily seeing if we can use the device-level activity that we use for marketing to kind of vet people overseas,” he said, referring to tracking activity on electronic devices.

 

At first, Owen said no, thinking he wouldn’t have the technology needed for the job in Afghanistan. But then he found out he could use public data for the vetting.

 

β€œSo we were 100 percent willing to do it. We just didn’t have the ability to actually do it the way that we thought we would,” Owen said. β€œBut we were able to leverage a lot of publicly available information to essentially do the same thing just in a less high-tech way.”

 

Owen then received a request from a Marine Corps lieutenant general asking him to help in the process of getting out some Afghans with whom the general had worked. They didn’t necessarily need vetting since they had been cleared by a general, but Owen and his team screened them anyway.

 

From there, Owen and volunteers that work with him set up a process for screening refugees.

 

β€œSo we always get proof of life photos and run them through as many different systems and resources as we possibly can to make sure they are who we think they are. And then in those instances, we were using publicly available breach data to make contact with other email addresses and phone numbers that were attached to the device information we knew about them,” Owen said.

The report by the Child Death Review Board was finalised in October last year but is yet to be made available in parliament, according to opposition child protection spokeswoman Amanda Camm.

β€œThe only way we can protect children is if the government is transparent about what the failures are.”

She said systemic failings needed to be scrutinised and fixed, particularly in the case of suicides by young people in government care.

 

β€œWhen we see a figure like 55, what that tells me is that there is still a lot of work to do,” Ms Camm said.

Witnesses in the trial told the court that the victim was constantly at Hesler's home and on one camping trip, Hesler 'disappeared for hours', and was later found coming out of a tent with the teenager.

The victim reported the sexual abuse to the police years later after a conversation with his wife who said she was thinking of becoming a social worker.

  2. Adopt a policy requiring employees to either get vaccinated or elect to undergo regular

COVID-19 testing and wear a face covering at work in lieu of vaccination

 

The ETS was published in the Federal Register on November 5, 2021. The text of the rule can be found on the Federal Register website, and OSHA's website contains additional information, including FAQs.

 

On November 6, 2021, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals granted an emergency motion to stay enforcement of the ETS, temporarily suspending the ETS pending further judicial review. On November 15, 2021, the U.S. Department of Labor acknowledged the Fifth Circuit’s Order and announced that OSHA is suspending its implementation and enforcement of the ETS pending further litigation. On December 17, 2021, the Sixth Circuit Court dissolved the Fifth Circuit Court’s stay of the ETS. On December 18, 2021, OSHA released guidance that it will resume implementation of the ETS.

 

Per OSHA: β€œOSHA will not issue citations for noncompliance with any requirements of the ETS before January 10 and will not issue citations for noncompliance with the standard’s testing requirements before February 9, so long as an employer is exercising reasonable, good faith efforts to come into compliance with the standard.” Litigation may be ongoing. Employers should refer to the OSHA website for updated guidance.

During the Pfizer trial, 0.88% of the placebo group got covid-19 and 0.04% of the vaccinated group got covid-19. So the ARR or net benefit that you’re being offered with the Pfizer vaccine is 0.84%. That 95% number refers to the relative difference between 0.88% and 0.04%. That’s what they call 95% RRR.

 

Relative Risk Reduction is well known to be a misleading number, which is why the FDA recommends using Absolute Risk Reduction instead, which begs the question of how many people would have chosen to take the COVID-19 vaccines had they understood that they offered less than 1% benefit❓

Protests across Europe have intensified in recent weeks as governments debate whether to mandate vaccine passports for reentry to regular life. During the summer, France underwent more than 12 weeks of protests as citizens railed against the introduction of vaccine passports.

At present, individuals must show a negative COVID test to enter various venues, including cinemas. Masks are required for passengers on all forms of public transport. Castex noted that masks may also be made mandatory outside in town centers, and a new curfew will be re-examined as an option on January 5th. France’s schools will reopen as planned in January, but French employees must work remotely where possible for at least three days in January.

Other new measures included a shortening of the wait time between second vaccination and a first booster shot. French citizens will only have to wait three months between vaccinations and boosters.

For months now, I’ve been getting complaints about the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, where I’ve worked as a TV and radio producer, and occasional on-air columnist, for much of the past decade.

 

People want to know why, for example, non-binary Filipinos concerned about a lack of LGBT terms in Tagalog is an editorial priority for the CBC, when local issues of broad concern go unreported. Or why our pop culture radio show’s coverage of the Dave Chappelle Netflix special failed to include any of the legions of fans, or comics, that did not find it offensive. Or why, exactly, taxpayers should be funding articles that scold Canadians for using words such as β€œbrainstorm” and β€œlame.”

 

Everyone asks the same thing: What is going on at the CBC?

 

When I started at the national public broadcaster in 2013, the network produced some of the best journalism in the country. By the time I resigned last month, it embodied some of the worst trends in mainstream media. In a short period of time, the CBC went from being a trusted source of news to churning out clickbait that reads like a parody of the student press.

 

Those of us on the inside know just how swiftly β€” and how dramatically β€” the politics of the public broadcaster have shifted.

 

It used to be that I was the one furthest to the left in any newsroom, occasionally causing strain in story meetings with my views on issues like the housing crisis. I am now easily the most conservative, frequently sparking tension by questioning identity politics. This happened in the span of about 18 months. My own politics did not change.

 

To work at the CBC in the current climate is to embrace cognitive dissonance and to abandon journalistic integrity.

 

It is to sign on, enthusiastically, to a radical political agenda that originated on Ivy League campuses in the United States and spread through American social media platforms that monetize outrage and stoke societal divisions. It is to pretend that the β€œwoke” worldview is near universal β€” even if it is far from popular with those you know, and speak to, and interview, and read.

 

To work at the CBC now is to accept the idea that race is the most significant thing about a person, and that some races are more relevant to the public conversation than others. It is, in my newsroom, to fill out racial profile forms for every guest you book; to actively book more people of some races and less of others.

 

To work at the CBC is to submit to job interviews that are not about qualifications or experience β€” but instead demand the parroting of orthodoxies, the demonstration of fealty to dogma.

 

It is to become less adversarial to government and corporations and more hostile to ordinary people with ideas that Twitter doesn’t like.

"Because of the hot weather in Melbourne over the long weekend, there was no point in me going and standing in a line trying to get a PCR test," Ms Allen said.

 

"We now just assume that we were all positive at one point.

 

"We've laid low, we haven't gone out. I don't want to go out traipsing around to pharmacies and supermarkets infectious and potentially spreading it."

 

The number of people in the same situation as the Allens is impossible to tell, because there's currently no way of logging RAT results.

 

There may be thousands of cases that have either not yet been confirmed through a PCR test, or never will be.

 

Many sick people, like those in the Allens' household, will assume they are infected and won't relish lining up for two hours to have it confirmed days later.

 

So what does that mean for the daily case numbers monitored so religiously across Australia over the course of the pandemic?

 

What does a figure of 20,000 cases or 8,000 cases mean in Sydney or Melbourne if it's likely there are many more that may never be included in the count?

Georgia authorities have launched an investigation into an allegation of systematic ballot harvesting during the state's 2020 general election and subsequent U.S. Senate runoff and may soon issue subpoenas to secure evidence, Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger confirmed to Just the News.

 

Georgia law strictly prohibits third-party activists from picking up and delivering ballots on behalf of voters, a tactic called "harvesting" that liberal organizers have tried to get legalized in many battleground states without success. The U.S. Supreme Court this summer rejected Democrat efforts to overturn an Arizona law that outlawed harvesting in the battleground state.

Carjackers put a gun to the head of a Cook County Circuit Court judge outside her West Town home on Thursday night β€” but the judge was able to get her 3-year-old son out of the car before the hijackers drove away with her vehicle.

 

The carjacking came one night after armed men robbed a West Loop restaurant valet attendant and escaped with luxury SUVs that belonged to two Chicago Blackhawks players.

 

According to a CPD report, the 52-year-old judge was pulling into her garage on the 1500 block of North Campbell when two men approached her around 11:31 p.m.

 

One of the men put a gun to the judge’s head and ordered her out of the car. The offenders robbed the judge of her purse and iPhone, then climbed into her 2018 Subaru Crosstek. The report said she was able to remove her 3-year-old boy from the back seat before the men left.

Georgia opens investigation into possible illegal ballot harvesting in 2020 election

 

Georgia authorities have launched an investigation into an allegation of systematic ballot harvesting during the state's 2020 general election and subsequent U.S. Senate runoff and may soon issue subpoenas to secure evidence, Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger confirmed to Just the News.

 

Georgia law strictly prohibits third-party activists from picking up and delivering ballots on behalf of voters, a tactic called "harvesting" that liberal organizers have tried to get legalized in many battleground states without success. The U.S. Supreme Court this summer rejected Democrat efforts to overturn an Arizona law that outlawed harvesting in the battleground state.

 

Raffensperger, who is seeking reelection in 2022, led a successful effort in 2019 to strengthen Georgia's prohibition against harvesting ahead of the 2020 presidential election, and defeated an effort by prominent Democrat lawyer Marc Elias to overturn the harvesting ban. Raffensperger also reviewed and rejected claims by former President Donald Trump of widespread fraud during the 2020 election in a series of contacts under investigation by a local district attorney in Atlanta and the Jan. 6 select committee in Congress.

 

According to interviews and documents reviewed by Just the News, Raffensperger's office received a detailed complaint from conservative voter integrity group True the Vote on Nov. 30 saying it had assembled evidence that scores of activists worked with nonprofit groups to collect and deliver thousands of absentee ballots, often during wee-hour operations, to temporary voting drop boxes distributed around the state during the pandemic.

 

The group informed the secretary its evidence included video footage from surveillance cameras placed by counties outside the drop boxes as well as geolocation data for the cell phones of more than 200 activists seen on the tapes purportedly showing the dates and times of ballot drop-offs, according to documents reviewed by Just the News.

 

The group also said it interviewed a Georgia man who admitted he was paid thousands of dollars to harvest ballots in the Atlanta metropolitan area during the November election and the lead-up to Jan. 5, 2021 runoff for Georgia's two U.S. Senate seats, which were both captured by Democrats and ended GOP control of Congress. The group has yet to identify the cooperating witness to state authorities, referring to him in the complaint simply as John Doe.

 

The group does not allege the ballots delivered by couriers were fraudulent. Nonetheless, lawful ballots delivered by third-parties to drop boxes would run afoul of Georgia's law.
