Farms are being shut down after PFAS (“the forever chemical”) contamination from Biosludge.

Consuming artificial sweeteners linked to cancer risk: study

Consuming artificial sweetener could increase the risk of developing cancer, a large-scale study suggested Thursday, but experts not involved in the research said it was not enough proof to consider changing current health advice.

Sweeteners are consumed by millions every day in products like diet soda, partly as a way to avoid weight gain from sugar – but how healthy these substitutes are themselves has long been a matter of controversy.

 

To assess the cancer risk of sweeteners, researchers analysed the data of more than 100,000 people in France who self-reported their diet, lifestyle and medical history in intervals between 2009-2021 as part of the NutriNet-Sante study.

 

They then compared consumption to the rate of cancer, while adjusting for other variables such as smoking, poor diet, age and physical activity.

 

The participants who consumed the largest amount of sweeteners, "beyond the median amount, had an increased cancer risk of 13 percent compared to non-consumers," Mathilde Touvier, research director at France's INSERM institute and the study's supervisor, told AFP.

 

The study, published in the journal PLOS Medicine, said that a higher cancer risk was particularly seen with sweeteners aspartame and acesulfame potassium – both used in many soft drinks including Coke Zero.

 

Out of the 103,000 participants, 79 percent were women and 37 percent consumed artificial sweeteners.

 

Soft drinks accounted for more than half of the artificial sweeteners consumed, while table-top sweeteners represented 29 percent.

 

The study found that "higher risks were observed for breast cancer and obesity-related cancers".

 

Touvier said "we cannot totally exclude biases linked to the lifestyle of consumers", calling for further research to confirm the study's results.

 

The US National Cancer Institute and Cancer Research UK both say that sweeteners do not cause cancer, and they have been authorised for use by the European Food Safety Authority.

'Not proof'

 

"The relationship between artificial sweetener consumption and cancer risk is a controversial one, going back to the 1970s when (sweetener) cyclamate was banned for being linked to bladder cancer in rats – although this was never shown to be the case in humans," said James Brown, a biomedical scientist at Britain's Aston University.

 

Brown, who was not involved in the study, told AFP that it was "reasonably well-designed" and had an "impressive" sample size.

 

But he added he did not "believe the current study provides strong enough evidence" for Britain's National Health Service to "change its advice just yet".

 

Michael Jones of The Institute of Cancer Research, London said that the link reported in the study "does not imply causation" and was "not proof that artificial sweeteners cause cancer".

 

He said the findings could suggest that "cancer risk may be raised in the type of person who uses artificial sweetener rather than the sweetener itself."

 

Thursday's findings also do not mean consumers should rush back to sugary drinks – a 2019 NutriNet-Sante study found that they were also linked to a higher risk of several cancer types.

 

Brown said that not all sweeteners were equal, with some such as stevia showing health benefits.

 

Artificial sweeteners are "still likely a useful tool that can help reduce weight gain when replacing sugar – if the right sweetener is used," he said.

Nebraska GOP Congressman Jeff Fortenberry on Thursday was convicted of lying to the FBI about a foreign contribution to his campaign.

 

Fortenberry was convicted on three felony counts – one count of falsifying and concealing material facts and two counts of making false statements (each count carries five years) by a federal grand jury in Los Angeles.

 

Fortenberry’s lawyers argued at trial that the FBI lured the Congressman into giving two interviews – then indicted him after he couldn’t remember all the details about a conversation he had with an FBI informant about the illicit campaign donation.

 

“Defense lawyers said the FBI “set up” Fortenberry after a national investigation fizzled into foreign money funneled to members of Congress. They said Fortenberry’s flaw was voluntarily meeting with agents and prosecutors to help their probe and having a faulty memory.” – AP reported.

Mr. Fortenberry, who is currently running for re-election, will be sentenced on June 28.

U.S. Rep. Jeff Fortenberry of Nebraska was convicted Thursday on charges that he lied to federal authorities about an illegal $30,000 contribution to his campaign from a foreign billionaire at a 2016 Los Angeles fundraiser.

 

A federal jury in LA deliberated about two hours before finding the nine-term Republican guilty of one count of falsifying and concealing material facts and two counts of making false statements. Fortenberry was charged after sitting for two interviews with FBI agents who were investigating the donor, Gilbert Chagoury, a Nigerian billionaire of Lebanese descent.

 

Fortenberry, 61, argued at trial that prosecutors knew that the congressman didn’t know about the contribution, but directed an informant to feed him the information in a 10-minute call with the intention of trying to prosecute him.

 

His attorneys said FBI agents then used false pretenses to interview Fortenberry nearly a year later and indicted him when he failed to recall all of the details from the conversation.

 

Prosecutors argued Fortenberry lied about what he knew about the illicit donation during an interview at his Lincoln home in March 2019 and a follow-up meeting four months later in Washington about the contribution received at a Los Angeles fundraiser.

▫️We know of examples where the US military departments work with anthrax has ended in biosecurity emergencies.

 

▫️Between 2005 and 2015, viable anthrax spores were sent from the US Army's Dugway proving ground to 194 recipients in ten countries.

The current situation with the shipment of pathogenic biomaterials from Ukraine to European countries could result in loss of life and create a hotbed of epidemiological instability on a scale comparable to the COVID-19 pandemic.

 

▫️We continue to share information on research involving Ukrainian military personnel. We would like to point out that such work is prohibited within the US and is carried out by the military department outside the US.

 

▫️Earlier mention was made of the UP-8 research, which involved more than 4,000 people. According to figures published in the Bulgarian media, some 20 Ukrainian soldiers were killed in experiments in the Kharkov laboratory alone and another 200 were hospitalised.

 

▫️The documents received confirm the attempt to test previously untested medicines on them. This is the Deep Drug screening system for unlicensed pharmaceuticals in the United States and Canada.

 

▫️What makes the US sponsors particularly cynical is that the developer, Scymount, offered to purchase the system in question on a commercial basis, despite the fact that Ukrainian Ministry of Defence officials were engaged as volunteers.

 

▫️Such unacceptable approaches, with the tacit approval of the US administration, are the norm for big pharma companies. For example, the US Naval Medical Centre in Jakarta was shut down by Indonesian authorities in 2010 because of numerous irregularities.

 

▫️The Americans conducted work at the site outside the agreed research programme, collected biological samples and refused to inform the Indonesian government of their findings. The materials they obtained were used on behalf of the Pentagon-affiliated pharmaceutical company Gilead, which conducts trials of its drugs, including in Ukraine and Georgia.

 

▫️We would like to draw attention that the number of biological laboratories in the USA is not comparable with other countries. According to the Chinese Foreign Ministry, they control 336 laboratories in 30 states outside national jurisdiction.

 

▫️We believe that in the context of the incoming information, clarification should be sought from Washington regarding the true objectives of the US biolaboratories as part of the international investigation.

Hogan proposed $3.5 million to fund new positions in the U.S. Attorney’s Office and another $6.5 million to expand the Baltimore Police Department’s Warrant Apprehension Task Force.

The Brits had become very concerned with the rise of Russian power under Stalin while observing that Germany was on its knees with 50% unemployment in 1933, if one counted unregistered itinerant Germans.

 

Even Lloyd George had misgivings about the Versailles Treaty, unbearably weakening Germany after its surrender in WWI. The purpose of WWI, in Lloyd George’s worldview, was to destroy Russia and Germany together. Germany was threatening England with the Kaiser building a fleet to take over the oceans, while the Tsar was too close to India for comfort. For a while Britannia won – and continued to rule the waves.

 

Then building up Germany to fight Russia became the number one priority – complete with rewriting of History. The uniting of Austrian Germans and Sudetenland Germans with Germany, for instance, was totally approved by the Brits.

 

But then came the Polish problem. When Germany invaded Poland, France and Britain stood on the sidelines. That placed Germany on the border of Russia, and Germany and Russia divided up Poland. That’s exactly what Britain and France wanted. Britain and France had promised Poland that they would invade Germany from the west while Poland fought Germany from the east.

 

In the end, the Poles were double-crossed. Churchill even praised Russia for invading Poland. Hitler was advised by MI6 that England and France would not invade Poland – as part of their plan for a German-Russian war. Hitler had been supported financially since the 1920s by MI6 for his favorable words about England in Mein Kampf. MI6 de facto encouraged Hitler to invade Russia.

Last week, Deputy Defense Secretary Kathleen H. Hicks signed the implementation plan for Joint All Domain Command and Control, or JADC2. It's the final step needed before moving forward on delivering JADC2 capabilities to the warfighter, which will bring a better way to sense, make sense of and act on the volumes of information generated into today's joint, all-domain warfighting environment.

The finalized and approved implementation plan serves as the critical final step needed before building out JADC2 capabilities, said Marine Lt. Gen. Dennis A. Crall, who serves as the director of command, control, communications and computers/cyber as well as chief information officer on the Joint Staff.

 

"[It's] the seminal document that we've been waiting for — and it's been difficult for the reasons you might expect, it's so comprehensive," Crall said during a virtual briefing today at the Pentagon.

 

Crall said the implementation plan is important because it defines who will do what in building out JADC2 for the warfighter.

 

"This is what the I-plan actually does for us," Crall said. "It takes a look very clearly at specific and prioritized plans. How are we going to accomplish the very things that we said, again, in what order, how do you measure them, how do we leverage the boards, bureaus, working groups, cells, committees that are in the building, to empower them, to move these to fruition?"

 

The implementation plan for JADC2 also provides a plan for who will be doing what — so everybody working on execution of JADC2 knows what everybody else is doing, he said.

 

"We don't always know what others are working on," Crall said. "The I-plan captures that at its fullest, so you can look across your lane of expertise, be informed by some of the other efforts, and maybe that provides opportunity to come up with a better way."

The implementation plan also outlines, among other things, milestones for delivery of JADC2 and plans for funding as well.

 

"That's why the implementation plan is so critical and important to what we do," Crall said.

 

With the delivery of the implementation plan, Crall said it's now time to move ahead with building out JADC2.

 

"This is the year of delivery," he said. "And that's exactly what we intend to do. I think we've talked, we've studied, we've interacted, we've mapped, it's now time to put these together and learn by doing."

French Lawyer arrested for Treason after helping Reiner Fuellmich prove World Leaders have committed Crimes Against Humanity in the name of Covid-19

 

Virginie de Araujo Recchia, a French attorney living in France who is participating in the work of the Citizen Jury with Reiner Fuellmich, was arrested in her home at dawn on March 22nd in front of her children. The arrest comes three weeks before ahead of the French presidential elections.

 

Fuellmich’s team have allegedly been informed the charges involve counterterrorism and possibly treason, and relate to the passionate work she does for the French people as well as the world, in fighting to restore our God-given rights.

 

At the beginning of the year, Virginie de Araujo Recchia, in partnership with her colleague Jean-Pierre Joseph, and two other jurists, filed a complaint before the head of the investigating judges on behalf of the associations BonSens.org, AIMSIB and the Collectif des Maires Résistants (Collective of Resistant Mayors) against the parliamentarians who validated a law on mandatory Covid-19 vaccination in August 2021.

 

This law forced millions of professionals to undergo experimental gene therapy or risk losing their jobs.

 

According to sources close to the case, she was working on a complaint against political parties and the actions of some of their members.

 

She had just made public her report entitled “Dictatorship 2020” accusing the government of state terrorism, attacking the fundamental interests of the nation and crimes against humanity.

This flagrant violation of rights demonstrates there is no more freedom of speech- and proves that if we speak out, as Virginie Araujo-Recchia has done, that we will be persecuted.

 

Even those who disagree with Virginie de Araujo Recchia’s message should know that their rights to free speech are threatened by such action. Just because you may go along with the “official” narrative now does not mean at some point you won’t disagree with it.

 

What happens then, if you have not moved to help another faced with this? You know this is fundamentally wrong, and against natural law.

 

This is a time for unification and standing up. We cannot continue to allow this tyranny to escalate. When Shakespeare said in King Henry VI “First, kill all the lawyers”… he was referring to the first step in destabilizing a society. DHS’s Alejandro Mayorkas Builds Escalator for Asylum Migrants

 

President Joe Biden’s border chief has released draft rules that will allow low-level officials to quickly and quietly award the huge prize of asylum and citizenship to myriad economic migrants, without oversight from judges or Congress.

 

“What they’re doing is giving low-level bureaucrats authority equivalent to Congress as a whole to decide how many foreigners should move to the United States and become American citizens,” said Mark Krikorian, director of the Center for Immigration Studies.

 

Officials “say it’s streamlining the process, which it is truly not,” Krikorian said. “The goal of the regulation is to dramatically increase the number of people successfully getting asylum and to speed that process up as much as possible.”

 

In 2021, Alejandro Mayorkas, the secretary at the Department of Homeland Security, allowed more than 1 million economic migrants across the southern border, alongside the legal inflow of myriad visa workers and roughly 1 million legal immigrants. The inflow adds about two million people to the nation every year, as approximately 4 million Americans begin searching for jobs.

 

He is a Cuban-born, pro-migration zealot. The regulation is the centerpiece of his bureaucratic campaign to build a network of new migration pathways that operate outside the numerical limits set by Congress, and alongside the labor-trafficking networks run by the drug cartels.

 

The 512-page March 24 regulation converts the preliminary “Credible Fear Interview” process for new arrivals into a fast-track, full-scale asylum hearing, where migrants can get political asylum in a face-to-face interview with a low-level agency official.

 

Under current rules, migrants can ask for a Credible Fear Interview. If approved, they can stay in the country for a few years while a courtroom judge decides if their evidence justifies the award of asylum. The award of asylum is a huge prize — it allows migrants the right to take jobs, rent homes, become a citizen, and bring relatives into the United State via chain migration.

 

“This will only encourage more illegal immigration and fraudulent asylum claims, which is the Biden administration’s end goal,” said a statement from Dan Stein, the president of the Federation of American Immigration Reform.

 

The mass inflow cuts Americans’ wages and pushes up rents, but it grows Wall Street values for the business groups that fund the pro-migration advocacy by progressives.

 

The new rule likely will face a lawsuit by advocates for Congress’ authority over immigration policy.

Florida Counties Open Investigations into Felons Voting in 2020 Election

 

A number of counties in Florida have opened investigations into whether convicted felons, ineligible to vote, cast votes in the 2020 presidential election.

 

A Politico report this week confirmed that investigations are underway after researcher Mark Glaeser began crossing-checking Florida voter lists against lists of the state’s convicted sex offenders and felons still in the Alachua County, Florida, jail.

 

In one such case, an election official in Alachua County is accused of registering felons to vote at the county jail despite their being ineligible.

 

Politico reports:

 

The probes or investigations are in varying stages, with some county supervisors forwarding information to local prosecutors and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement or handing it off to the Department of State. But it appears dozens of potentially illegal voters have been flagged in counties such as Alachua, Duval, Gadsden, Leon and Lake. [Emphasis added]

“As such, it is quite possible that some individuals who voted in the 2020 General Election had not satisfied all legal financial obligations or were otherwise ineligible under the parameters of the restoration of voting rights framework,” said Mallory Morgan, a spokesperson for Secretary of State Laurel Lee. “Eligibility screening continues without ceasing and the Department is hopeful that new FTE positions sought in this year’s budget will assist with this work, which expanded significantly in terms of time and complexity following the passage of Amendment 4 in 2018.” [Emphasis added]

 

Morgan added that the department was aware that several counties had received information and noted that they have power to forward complaints to local prosecutors. FDLE, meanwhile, has acknowledged that it investigated — and forwarded a report to local prosecutors — regarding allegations that a former employee with Alachua’s election office registered people at the jail even though some had felony convictions. IMF Warns Countries May Cut Dollar Reserves In Response To US Sanctions Against Russia

 

Did the IMF just parrot one of Russian President Vladimir Putin's favorite criticisms of Western sanctions?

 

During an interview with Foreign Policy, the IMF's first deputy managing director, Gita Gopinath, warned that Western sanctions on Russia, and more specifically, the confiscation of dollar- and euro-denominated reserves held by the Russian Central Bank, could backfire by making other foreign central banks more reluctant to hold such a large amount of their own foreign reserves in dollars and euros.

 

For decades now, the international dollar-based financial system has been underpinned by free market principles. Unfortunately, when western institutions effectively confiscate reserves belonging to an independent central bank, they cut against this notion, and prompt other nations to ponder the possibility - however remote - that they could be next.

 

Ultimately, it's likely that some countries will "reconsider" the wisdom of so heavily relying on Washington.

 

"We are likely to see some countries reconsidering how much they hold of certain currencies in their reserves," she told Foreign Policy.

 

While Russia accuses the West of trying to engineer a default on Russia's foreign-currency bonds by restricting its access to euros and dollars, Gopinath pointed out that the sanctions imposed over the past month have effectively cut Russia's ties to the global financial system, and a default (however technical in nature) would likely lock Russia out of said system for years.

 

"When you’ve defaulted, reentry into the market is not easy. And that can take a long time."

 

The IMF is already seeing an "increasing fragmentation" in global payments systems. On Thursday morning, it was reported that Russia and Iran are working on a global financial messaging system that could act as an alternative to SWIFT.

 

Of course, the IMF isn't the only institution to highlight this trend. Just the other day, Goldman Sachs released a note warning that the twilight of the US dollar's global hegemony could be at hand - citing the possibility of Saudi Arabia accepting yuan for oil instead of dollars (leading to deep fissures in the edifice of the petrodollar) - as evidence.

 

Since the annexation of Crimea in 2014, Russia's central bank had steadily divested its reserves of most U.S. dollar assets. But the dollar, euro and sterling still account for more than 50% of its holdings, located in France, Germany, Japan, Britain, the United States, Canada and Australia.

“This isn’t a serious lawsuit,” tweeted former federal prosecutor and legal commentator Renato Mariotti, offering a prediction: “It won’t survive a motion to dismiss and is receiving far more attention than it deserves.”

The lawsuit was filed on Trump’s behalf by attorneys from the Ticktin Law Group in Deerfield Beach, Fla. Matthew Gertz, of the liberal/progressive media think tank Media Matters for America, immediately noted that the firm’s website was registered under the URL LegalBrains.com. That website has since been taken down from the web, but cached and archived versions of it exist. The lead attorney on the case, Peter Ticktin, wrote a book in support of Trump.

Ticktin was suspended from practicing law in 2009, according to a Florida Supreme Court case.

In that case, the supreme court said Ticktin committed “egregious” and “serious violations” when he represented a client who the court said “was ultimately arrested and convicted of defrauding investors out of $20 million.” He is currently in good standing and has no record of discipline for the last 10 years, Florida bar records show.

Another one of the attorneys on the case, Alina Habba, once complained that Facebook deactivated the account of Siggy Flicker after the Trump supporting former star on the reality television series Real Housewives of New Jersey wished Melania Trump a happy birthday. Habba also sued niece Mary L. Trump on behalf of Donald Trump and has been associated with his case involving E. Jean Carroll. Habba has also threatened to sue the Pulitzer Prize Board unless they retracted awards for the Russiagate reporting of the New York Times the Washington Post.

RICO is the legal acronym for Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations. A relevant federal statute provides a civil cause of action against such organizations. The statute explicitly states that an aggrieved party can in some cases recover treble damages if his business or property is harmed — that is, if he prevails in court. The relevant section of the statute reads:

(c) Any person injured in his business or property by reason of a violation of section 1962 of this chapter may sue therefor in any appropriate United States district court and shall recover threefold the damages he sustains and the cost of the suit, including a reasonable attorney’s fee, except that no person may rely upon any conduct that would have been actionable as fraud in the purchase or sale of securities to establish a violation of section 1962. The exception contained in the preceding sentence does not apply to an action against any person that is criminally convicted in connection with the fraud, in which case the statute of limitations shall start to run on the date on which the conviction becomes final.

Notably, the Trump lawsuit does not directly allege defamation — though it does (in an introductory missive only) accuse the Clinton Campaign and the DNC of cooking up “a nefarious scheme to discredit, delegitimize and defame” Trump.

The complaint alleges that Trump lost “in excess of twenty-four million dollars ($24,000,000)” due to the alleged acts of the various defendants and deserves compensation “for damages, including Punitive damages, costs, and such further and other relief as [the] Court may deem just and proper.”

The lawsuit’s opening salvo reads as follows:

In the run-up to the 2016 Presidential Election, Hillary Clinton and her cohorts orchestrated an unthinkable plot – one that shocks the conscience and is an affront to this nation’s democracy. Under the guise of ‘opposition research,’ ‘data analytics,’ and other political stratagems, the Defendants nefariously sought to sway the public’s trust. They worked together with a single, self-serving purpose: to vilify Donald J. Trump. Indeed, their far-reaching conspiracy was designed to cripple Trump’s bid for presidency by fabricating a scandal that would be used to trigger an unfounded federal investigation and ignite a media frenzy.

But the lawsuit itself contains several dubiously blurry assertions. After balking that “Trump and his campaign were forced to expend tens of millions of dollars in legal fees to defend against” the “contrived and unwarranted proceedings” which resulted from the probe by Special Counsel Robert Mueller into whether or nor Russian agents and operatives influenced the 2016 election, the lawsuit characterized Trump as having been “exonerate[d]” by Mueller’s findings.

“Justice would ultimately prevail,” the lawsuit alleges. “[F]ollowing a two-year investigation, Special Counsel Mueller went on to exonerate Donald J. Trump and his campaign with his finding that there was no evidence of collusion with Russia.”

The use of the word “exonerate” in the lawsuit is notable, because Mueller himself said that his report did “not exculpate” Trump of obstruction of justice. The lawsuit engaged in a grammatical sleight of hand by cleverly yet tenuously connecting the word “exonerate” to “evidence of collusion” — and the latter was not the extent of what Mueller has stated about his findings.

And, even then, Reuters legal journalist Jan Wolfe immediately noted that a “GOP-led Senate panel found Russia used Manafort and WikiLeaks to try to help Trump’s campaign.” Paul Manafort, of course, was Trump’s former campaign chair — and a man Trump pardoned shortly before he left office.

Trump’s lawsuit also heralded the nascent probe by special counsel John Durham into how the government investigated Trump. It reads [emphasis ours]:

The full extent of the Defendants’ wrongdoing has been steadily and gradually exposed by Special Counsel John Durham, who has been heading a DOJ investigation into the origins of the Trump-Russia conspiracy. To date, he has already issued indictments to Sussmann and Danchenko, among others, for proffering false statements to law enforcement officials. As outlined below, these ‘speaking’ indictments not only implicate many of the Defendants named herein but also provide a great deal of insight into the inner-workings of the Defendants’ conspiratorial enterprise. Based on recent developments and the overall direction of Durham’s investigation, it seems all but certain that additional indictments are forthcoming.

The latter contention is rank speculation at best.

The lawsuit further says that various defendants spent time “undermining” Trump’s “presidential administration.”

The case was filed in the Southern District of Florida. The lawsuit says that venue is proper “because at least one Defendant and the Plaintiff reside” there and “part of the events or omissions giving rise to the Plaintiffs’ claims occurred in this District.”

As to the claims that Clinton was behind it all, the lawsuit alleges as follows:

Clinton, acting as a principal, used the law firm, Perkins Coie, and the Clinton Campaign as her agents to act on her behalf to carry out the plot against Trump to assure that he would be falsely implicated as colluding with a hostile foreign sovereignty.

Specifically, the Clinton Campaign and the DNC under Clinton’s direction put into place a scheme to hire dishonest operatives to put together a collection of lies and innuendo about the Plaintiff and shop it to the FBI. The statements that were disseminated were knowingly false and damaging.

Clinton directed the DNC and the Clinton Campaign to also retain Perkins Coie, LLP to find proof of a sinister link between Trump and Russia in the lead-up to the 2016 Presidential Election.

The Clinton Campaign and the DNC, under the direction of Hillary Clinton, directed its law firm, Perkins Coie, to hire an outside intelligence firm, Fusion GPS to dig up dirt on the Plaintiff’s alleged connections with Russia in 2016. They paid Fusion GPS approximately $10 million to produce and propagate a false narrative that the Plaintiff had colluded with the Russians.

Clinton attempted to shield her involvement through a barricade of agents working on her behalf.

Once retained Perkins Coie, was tasked with spearheading the mission to find or fabricate proof of a sinister link between Trump and Russia in the lead-up to the 2016 Presidential Election.

Wisconsin School District Claims White Students Can’t Be Discriminated Against

 

A Wisconsin school district claimed state and federal non-discrimination laws do not apply to white students because they are not part of a protected class, according to the response a student’s parents received after they filed a racial discrimination complaint.

The Wisconsin Institute for Law & Liberty (WILL) condemned the “outrageous statement” calling the district’s “official position … that race discrimination laws do not apply to white students,” “patently false,” in a letter to the district superintendent.

“They think there’s something called protected classes, where only certain people are in protected classes and that there’s also a majority class that does not benefit from these protections,” WILL’s Deputy Counsel Daniel P. Lennington told the DCNF. “That is not what the law is, that’s what Critical Race Theory teaches, but that’s not what the law is.”

 

A Wisconsin school district claimed state and federal non-discrimination laws do not apply to white students because they are not part of a protected class, according to the response a student’s parents received after they filed a complaint alleging their child was racially discriminated against.

 

Assistant Superintendent Tanya Fredrich of Elmbrook Schools investigated the complaint and asserted “that the student is not a member of any class that is legally protected from discrimination by state or federal law” in a Nov. 17 statement obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation.

 

The Wisconsin Institute for Law & Liberty (WILL) condemned the “outrageous statement” issued by Fredrich that took the “official position … that race discrimination laws do not apply to white students,” in a letter from President & General Counsel Richard M. Esenberg and Deputy Counsel Daniel P. Lennington, addressed to Elmbrook Schools and its superintendent of Schools, Mark Hansen.

 

“Not only is this both legally and factually wrong, but it is frankly shocking that a public educational institution could hold such a view,” WILL added in its letter.

 

“There is no such thing as a ‘protected class’ in the sense that some races are protected while others are not,” the WILL letter stated. “Black and brown students do not have different rights; they have identical rights to white students and must be treated identically to white students.”

 

The child in question was suffering from depression and her parents were working with doctors to address her health concerns, the mother who filed the complaint told the DCNF on the condition of anonymity. The parents discovered their daughter was failing, but said they had no idea and administrators would not communicate with them unless they gave the school access to the student’s personal healthcare information and open dialogue with her healthcare professionals.

 

The student’s mother started going to board meetings and Elmbrook’s Teaching and Learning Committee meetings, which she said seemed to focus entirely on helping low-income and non-white students, often advocating for the use of many of the accommodations that she claimed the district was refusing her daughter.

 

Elmbrook Schools said there is no evidence that the student’s white race, heterosexual orientation and middle-upper middle-class socioeconomic status were a consideration in any decision it made regarding the student, but the district said it “must be noted” that the student in question is not a member of any class protected by discrimination laws, according to the complaint response.

 

“To the contrary, the student’s race, sexual orientation and socio-economic status are what are considered to be the majority status and thus do not form a basis for claiming that the student is being treated or has been treated less favorably than persons not in the protected class,” Fredrich’s complaint response said.

‘Words can’t describe the horror’: ex-jockeys reveal historical abuse in Victorian stables

 

on Lockett’s rise through Victoria’s apprentice jockey ranks in the 1970s and ’80s was like most of his era.

 

He picked up work at his local racecourse as a school-aged kid, which happened to be the now-defunct Epsom Racecourse in Mordialloc, where he mucked out boxes for $5 a week for Hall Of Fame trainer Jim Moloney’s stable, before finally gaining his riding licence in 1979.

 

He looks back fondly on his short-lived career.

 

But, like many in the racing game, he was physically and sexually abused at the stables by those entrusted to teach him the ropes.

 

The repeated abuse came to a head in 1977 when, aged 16, he was “accidentally” set on fire.

 

“Accidents happen, but that was an accident that never should have happened,” Lockett recalls.

 

Apprentice jockeys who were physically or sexually abused at Victorian stables between 1970 and 1985 are being encouraged to tell their stories as part of a civil claim seeking damages against the racing industry.

 

Some jockeys say they were left physically and mentally scarred, never to fulfil their dreams on the racetrack, after being abused as part of their “initiation”. Others, according to Maurice Blackburn lawyer John Rule, became champions, most remaining silent about what they were forced to endure in their early years.

 

Rule says he and his team have spoken to between 15 and 20 people who were affected by the historical, systemic abuse that occurred within the Victorian racing industry, but he believes there are dozens more who could provide further background to the case.

 

Some jockeys who spoke to The Age, including Lockett, are not clients of Rule. Two asked to remain anonymous, to protect their identities from people still working in racing.

‘I wanted to be a jockey’

 

Lockett was 15 when he quit school and got a job at Moloney’s at Epsom in 1976, about seven years after champion sprinter Vain had put Moloney on the map in the spring of 1969, winning three feature races across the four days in Melbourne Cup week. He idolised Pat Hyland, who won the Cup in 1985 on What A Nuisance.

 

But Lockett quickly learned racing wasn’t as glamorous as Vain or Hyland had made it out to be. “I wanted to be a jockey, and I was determined, no matter what I had to go through,” Lockett says. “They’d constantly do things like bury you in the horse manure pit, you’d be up in the silo, shovelling the oats down, and they’d lock ya and leave you in there for an hour and a half, just being smart arses. I could have died in there, roof on, dust and shit like that, but they used to think it was a big joke.

 

“But when you’re a 15-year-old kid, you don’t know any difference because you’ve just come out of school, and you think, ‘this is what work is all about’.”

 

One incident, however, left Lockett physically scarred for life. It was symptomatic of stable life in the 1970s.

 

“It was the first time I was taking a horse to the races to strap, so that was why they were initiating me apparently,” Lockett recalls.

 

“They’d dack ya, put metho on your balls, and some bright spark had the idea to light a match.

 

“They lit the match, and because metho has got fumes, he didn’t get right up to me, but he walked forward with the match and I lit up like a fireball.

 

“I was in hospital for six months and I went in two or three other times to get my skin graft under my arm done. I had no movement in my arm, that’s why I didn’t start riding until later in my career because it took me two-and-a-half years to get over the burns.”

Today was a long-anticipated day as President Joe Biden hosted his first official press conference. This comes as even though yesterday he responded “what press conference?” when a reporter asked him if he was ready.

 

Apparently he was more than prepared. Seeing as how the New York Postspotted Biden’s reference sheet containing not only a list of reporters and accompanying photographs, but additional “1” “2” “3” numbers circled around particular names.

 

Another photograph is in the piece. However Biden was much more forthcoming about this cheat sheet. It listed some factoids about US infrastructure for him to read out. Some of the bullet points included the state of disrepair for US bridges, as well as how China is doing in comparison to America.

 

But the persistent debate between Democrats and Republicans in recent weeks has been over Biden’s fitness for holding office. While Republicans had plenty of fodder to point to today to support their argument (i.e. claiming to have come to Senate "over 120 years ago"), the Left claims Biden proved himself for being able to carry himself at all through today’s press conference.

 

A sensitive topic of course being the ongoing situation at the US border. President Biden attempted to explain the situation as much as possible, at least to the point where he wanted to come off as conveying transparency. But when pressed by reporters, Biden responded it would still take some time to enact whatever his plan is before he’s ready to commit to that.

 

"I guess I should be flattered because people are coming because I'm a nice guy, that's why this is happening,” President Biden joked about the border crisis.

 

Most glaringly Peter Doocy of Fox News was in the room, but Biden refused to call on him.

Anons, Here is what to do to save the farm soil within a year. 20 years ago I bought a farm that was so destroyed by ag chemicals, it would grow nothing but this weird red grass. It looked like (pic related ) I took the problem to the extension office for soil advice? They said once the soil is that bad, all I could grow was corn.

 

Turned out, this was not true, but I had to go to a meeting three states away to learn how to reclaim my soil, by using specially grown microbes in a large compost pile, so big I had to turn the pile with my tractor loader. I was instructed when finished, to make a tea of the compost I had made, and spray that on my farm acreage to repair it. The microbes, theoretically, would apart the chemicals.

I went home, did it, and it worked.

 

My farm has grown everything since that year. Needless to say, I am organic now, everywhere. Anyway, what I did was easy.

So I am going to tell you exactly how I mixed this brew of chemical eating microbes. One pile was sufficient to repair my 18 acers of farm soil, HOWEVER, my farm was only destroyed by ag chemicals. SO.

Here's what happened in Maine.

 

Back in what appears to be the 1970s, that sludge was put on the fields.

 

On to 2022. Raw milk was recalled because PFAS were found in the milk. That farm bought hay from a farm that had PFAS on it, and the cows ate the hay and got the PFAS.

 

I have to assume that we've been getting PFAS all along.

Since this contamination sludge shutting the farms down is about every chemical in the world, I would not only repeat what I did, but would add special mushrooms to my tea to go after any strange chemicals the compost microbes could not handle.

I am certain it would work, because some mushrooms can decontaminate uranium contaminated soil.

 

Mushrooms are easy to grow. All you would need to do is get a grow kit, instructions on grinding them, and inoculating the soil with a sprayer, to inoculate the soil just like I did with the compost tea, I am betting.

Now on to the instructions I was given that worked to repair the soil on my farm. This is also the most amazing compost to add to any garden, every year. If you are a farmer, you can sell the stuff by the bucket load to help people re-innoculate their gardens.

To reclaim my chemically destroyed farm, here is what I was told to do, that worked and it only took one year. The following year, my soil could once again grow more than just red grass, or corn.

 

Recipe:

1/3rd green, 1/3rd brown, + Cow Manuer. Max 160F Min 110F

1) Get 5 tractor loaders full (5 cu yards) of fresh cow manuer. Put it in a pile on the farm. This provides the nitrogen for the burn.

2) Add 5 tractor loads of organic matter that is brown and dead. I used woodchips, pete moss, and leaves. You can use any or all three.

3) Get 5 tractor loads of something fresh cut green. I mowed my weeds in my fields, and cut the grass around the house until I had 5 yards of clippings.

4) Get one of those 3 foot long compost thermometers so you can take the temperature of the center of the pile.

 

It will take about 72 hours to cook the pile, and it must be watched. Here is what to do:

Day 1, mix the ingredients above well, and wait. Next morning, take interior temp of the pile. Keep taking the temp until the center of the pile reads 160F. It will not be long before your pile begins to burn (pic related)

DO NOT let it go over 160F.

 

Get on the tractor. Use the loader to stir the pile until the interior temp reads 110F. When it does, let the pile sit. When the pile reaches 160F stir it again. The goal is to let it rise to 160, knock it down to 110 repeatedly, until it can no longer reach 160F. . When that happens, you are out of burn fuel. But, your pile will be maximally teaming with every soil beneficial microbe there is. You will have soil heaven in a compost pile. The good microbes flourish between 110 and 160.. The bad ones can not take he high 160 temps and will die

 

The first time it will take a day or two for the temp to go to 160. But the more you turn it, the faster the temp will rise. In those last hours you will be turning that pile about once every two hours. The pile will most likely be finished in 72 hours or less. Be sure to stir it before going to bed. Plan on finishing the third day. Spread the pile out to about 18 inches thick on the ground to keep oxygen to the microbes.

 

Now, simply take a 5 gallon bucket. Put a shovel of compost in it. Fill it with water. Get a drill with a paint stiring whip on it. Stir the hell out of the compost in the water, so you knock all the living organisms into the water. Filter the water. Flour sack towel or garage towel works. Add it to a 50 gallon sprayer (or, add 5 gallons of this for every 50 gallons of field sprayer you have). Spray the fields to innoculate them with the microbes. Repeat the process every day for a week or so.

 

I am certain if farmers do this to their chemical destroyed land, they will be able to reclaim their farms, especially if they use the mushroom tea in addition to the compost tea. It is amazing what microbes will eat, and decontaminate.

the key word being "assume." so there is NOT a direct chain of evidence, just assumption. there are LOTS of sources of PFAS, not just the sludge put onto fields. for one, they're in the equipment used to process the milk, a MUCH more likely source of the contamination. ever cook on a teflon coated skillet? you got more PFAS from one fried egg than all the milk in the state of maine. junk science in the service of the great reset.
