White House Announces Biden "Major Address" Saturday As He Meets With Refugees In Poland

 

President Biden landed in Poland on Friday after attending Thursday's emergency NATO summit in Brussels where he was also pushing the EU to resist Russian efforts to "coerce and manipulate its neighbors" via oil and gas dependency.

 

"It's going to take some time to adjust gas supply chains and infrastructure that (were) built for the last decade so we're going to have to make sure the families in Europe can get through this winter and the next while we're building an infrastructure for a diversified, resilient and clean energy future," Biden had said at a prior press conference alongside European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.

 

"I know that eliminating Russian gas will have costs for Europe, but it's not only the right thing to do from a moral standpoint, it's going to put us on a much stronger strategic footing," he said.

 

He landed in Poland, where he will meet with Ukrainian refugees who have fled the conflict, also after he pledged $1 billion in US humanitarian assistance for dealing with the crisis. And according to NBC, "Biden arrived in Rzeszow where plans to meet with U.S. troops who began arriving at a military base there last month. The base in Poland is less than 100 miles from where Russian missiles struck a Ukrainian military post this month."

 

At this point, now with the invasion and Russian 'special operation' reaching a full month, an estimated more than two million Ukrainians have entered Poland, also where US troops are assisting with refugee logistics at the border.

 

Simultaneous to the president touching down in Poland, National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan announced that Biden will give a "major address" Saturday on the war in Ukraine.

 

As previewed by Sullivan, Biden highlight the "urgency of the challenge that lies ahead, what the conflict in Ukraine means for the world and why it is so important that the free world sustain unity and resolve in the face of Russian aggression," according to the statement.

 

It appears the "major address" will be given from Poland, and the president is expected to depart for Washington the same day.

Amy Schumer may be hair-raisingly funny, but the comedienne has copped to some serious hair issues.

 

Schumer, 40, revealed that she suffers from the genetic disorder trichotillomania. The illness causes the victim to constantly want to pull out their hair from their scalp, eyebrows or other areas of their body.

 

“I think everybody has a big secret and that’s mine,” she told the Hollywood Reporter in a profile published on Friday. “And I’m proud that my big secret only hurts me, but it’s been what I’ve carried so much shame about for so long.”

 

The “Trainwreck” actress — and soon-to-be Oscars 2022 co-host — discussed that she has dealt with the disorder for several years and even wrote it into her semi-autobiographical Hulu series “Life & Beth.”

 

Schumer, a mom of one son, has had the hair-pulling disorder since she was a child and it still affects her adult life. “It’s not that I used to have this problem and now I don’t,” she continued. “It’s still something that I struggle with.”

She noted that her trichotillomania emerged when her dad declared bankruptcy on his successful furniture company, he was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis and her parents then divorced.

 

Schumer said that trauma led to her plucking out too much of her blond mane and she had to wear a bad wig to school — something documented in her Hulu show. She added that “everybody knew” she was wearing one.

 

“I really don’t want to have a big secret anymore,” the “I Feel Pretty” actress stated. “And I thought putting it in there would be good for me to alleviate some of my shame and maybe, hopefully, help others alleviate some of theirs too.”

 

Schumer also fears that her 2-year-old son Gene will have the disorder, as it is genetic.

 

“Every time he touches his head, I’m having a heart attack,” Schumer admitted.

 

The TLC Foundation, which gives attention to body-focused repetitive behaviors, has praised Schumer’s portrayal of the disease. “Our community is breathing a collective sigh of relief after having our behaviors mischaracterized and misinterpreted for so many years,” the organization’s executive director told THR.

 

Other stars who deal with the disorder include Victoria’s Secret model Sara Sampaio, Charlize Theron and Megan Fox.

 

Sampaio revealed that she had the issue in a candid Instagram post in 2018, writing that it causes her to pull her eyebrows and noting, “this is my experience! I’m not ashame[d] of it.”

 

In 2010, Fox admitted to Allure magazine that she suffers from both OCD and trichotillomania.

Metabiota’s current lead investor is Pilot Growth Management, which was co-founded by Neil Callahan, its current CEO. Callahan also sits on the Board of Advisors at Metabiota, having co-founded and formerly worked as managing director at Rosemont Seneca Technology Partners (RSTP).

 

Callahan’s name appears many times on Hunter Biden’s infamous laptop, which makes sense as Rosemont Seneca Partners and Rosemont Realty are both offshoots of Rosemont Capital, an investment fund founded in 2009 by Hunter Biden and Christopher Heinz, John Kerry’s stepson.

 

Metabiota was a subcontractor for Black & Veach, which signed contracts for the construction and operation of biolabs in Ukraine, Georgia and elsewhere. Google was also involved, having contributed at least $1 million to the effort.

Wolfe is a World Economic Forum (WEF) Young Global Leader, it turns out (as is Ivanka Trump). In 2021, WEF awarded Metabiota for being a “Technology Pioneer.”

 

He also sat on the editorial board of EcoHealth Alliance, as well as on Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency’s (DARPA) Defense Science Research Council (DSRC).

 

Wolfe has received more than $20 million worth of funding from Google.org, The Skoll Foundation, the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the National Science Foundation, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the National Geographic Society, Merck Research Laboratories and various branches of the DoD.

 

Two of the core partners in USAID’s PREDICT project, which involved creating an early warning system for new and emerging diseases in 21 countries – including coronaviruses spread by bats, were none other than EcoHealth and Metabiota, with Wolfe being one of the project’s co-authors.

 

Together with Peter Daszak, Wolfe put together what would become a study on coronaviruses in bats that was published in 2017 right around the time Donald Trump became president.

 

“PREDICT was a forerunner of the more ambitious Global Virome Project,” reported the Exposé, adding that GVP is a founding member of The Trinity Challenge, which was launched in conjunction with Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus of the World Health Organization (WHO).

 

“Although Wolfe was one of initiators of GVP in 2018, on their website he isn’t shown as being directly involved,” the Exposé further revealed. “However, Edward Rubin, Metabiota’s chief scientific officer, is a board member of GVP. And it was Rubin who, in 2016, attended a Rockefeller Foundation forum alongside Daszak to discuss the GVP.”

 

The news outlet added: “In an interesting twitter thread – linking Wolfe and Metabiota to EcoHealth, DARPA, the Wuhan Institute of Virology and the World Economic Forum – HashTigre shared an image of page from a book Wolfe wrote in 2012 titled, ‘The Viral Storm: The Dawn of a New Pandemic Age,’ where he thanked friends including deceased pedophile Jeffrey Epstein and biotech venture capitalist Boris Nikolic.”

 

Nikolic was named as the “back-up executor” on Epstein’s will, it turns out, and Wolfe has been spotted in photographs hanging out with Ghislaine Maxwell.

 

“Always nice to see a name from Epstein/Maxwell associate Nathan Wolfe’s CIA funded company Metabiota – as the first name on an article related to dangerous virus collection tactics/research in China,” HashTigre tweeted.

Russian Ministry of Defense: Hunter Biden, George Soros, Pentagon and CDC involved in Ukrainian biolabs

Russia’s Ministry of Defense (MOD) released a trove of documents Thursday claiming to show proof of the Pentagon developing and operating illegal biolabs in Ukraine.

 

In a public MOD statement, the Russians alleged US President Joe Biden’s son Hunter, notorious globalist billionaire George Soros, the CDC and others were directly involved in the biolab scheme.

 

While we don’t need Russia to tell us about these connections, which have been recently detailed by several outlets, it is a major update that Russia is calling out the corruption on the world stage.

 

According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, documents obtained from Ukrainian scientists working at the US-funded labs demonstrate “the UP-2 biological project” was developed and approved by the Pentagon.

 

“The main objective of this project was to carry out a molecular analysis of particularly dangerous infections endemic to Ukraine,” the Russian MOD states. “This work involved sampling the pathogen from old animal burial grounds to obtain new anthrax strains.”

I worked at NTT-Verio (not NT Tech that you mention) years ago. We hosted 100Ks of sites on our servers. Policing it would have been impossible - especially with the tools available at the time. The only way things got policed to my recall was if it was viewed and reported and that could have been staff, users etc.

 

And when it was reported, it was shut down. We cooperated with all local and federal law enforcement. I imagine this is not dis-similar to what was going on at N.T. Technology).

 

For reference sake - the NTT stood for Nippon Telephone & Telegraph; essentially the Japanese version of ATT. So, anyone with a 401K with a mild investment in NTT could be accused of the same thing.

We wish to take this opportunity to give a short message, if we will, to help you understand in more truthful terms the unfoldment that is happening within you, and so without. You are connected into a holographic construct, a rich and complex operating system if you will, that responds dynamically to you.

 

This is a game, dear ones. A game where you can learn about yourself, your inner workings and the areas that need fine tuning within you by seeing the holographic mirroring or reactions to you by this holographic reality operating system.

 

Let us speak more simply. The world you see around you is a direct reflection of both you, and of the greater collective, and of the Earth herself. You co-create in this realm with the earth and with your fellow collective members. As humans you are privy to strong and powerful spectrums of emotion. This is why so many have sought to control that gift in you.

 

So beware of your emotional reactions. They are your greatest ally in understanding what it is within you that is creating both harmony and discord. Think of it like a waterfall. The pure emotional energy starts from the source, it emanates from your heart centre, and it flows and flares through all of you. As it touches parts of you that are at low vibration or illusion, as that energy lenses through those areas, or flows through them, it will be, in a sense, changed in its colouration. It will have the feel or the scent of emotions such as fear, doubt, unworthiness, self-disbelief and things of this nature.

 

When it flares through high vibration areas of you, it will feel joyful, positive, uplifting, expansive. So we ask you instead of fighting the emotions you feel, your emotional reactions to any happening, watch and feel closely that flaring and colouration of your original emotional energy, indicating to you what it is you have inside of you. So, if you find you are feeling an uncomfortable emotional response to an event you see in your outer sphere, understand that this is a teaching aid. It helps you pinpoint what lies hidden within you as well as where it is and what the flavour of that vibrational construct is within you.

 

So do you see dear ones, they are your greatest teacher in this game. They show you things about yourselves that you could not see by other means.

 

It is like you having a flashlight and pointing it inside yourself and then suddenly seeing all these different areas- some translucent and light and bright, and some dark and dense and heavy. Your emotions are like your own lighthouse. They point the way, if you will, to highlight the rocky areas that you would not otherwise see in sailing through the waters of your life. We would like you to ponder on this subject and cultivate the art of working with the emotional energy you have as a human being, and simply bearing witness, not to engage with the emotional responses that you have to anything in your life.

 

We will leave you now with this to consider dear ones. We love you all so much. You are nearing the finale. We are in great joy in the higher realms, watching you all as you take your individualized and collective steps over that great event finish line, and oh you are so near dear ones. We implore you to feel this hope, this truth within your hearts. Go peacefully, go gently, go in love. We are with you always. We are the Elohim and we thank you for this time with you. Whistleblower exposes Microsoft’s massive foreign bribery network

 

Tech behemoth Microsoft is bribing clients in the Middle East and Africa on a massive scale, according to whistleblower Yasser Elabd, a 20-year employee of the firm who published his testimony on Friday on the website Lioness.

 

Elabd claims the company spends more than $200 million annually on bribes and kickback schemes in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Zimbabwe, Nigeria, and Ghana, among other countries. Worse, he says, more than half the managers and salespeople in those regions are involved in the graft – as many as 70% – and anyone who tries to stop the culture of ripoffs is shut out of good deals and ultimately muscled out of the company.

While the scams took different forms, they often involved governments paying millions of dollars for software they never received, or “receiving” hefty discounts that never hit the customer’s balance sheet; the missing money would end up split between the Microsoft employees and government figures involved in the deal and the subcontractor, Elabd said.

 

“It's going on at all levels. All the executives are aware of it, and they're promoting the bad people,” the former executive told The Verge on Friday. “If you’re doing the right thing, they won’t promote you.” He claims to have spoken to five other employees who were similarly punished for raising the alarm about fraud.

 

The US Securities and Exchange Commission and Department of Justice previously investigated claims involving Microsoft receiving similar types of bribes in Hungary, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Thailand, ultimately hammering out a $25.3 million settlement with the software firm in return for the company promising to terminate its contracts with a specific partner, among other stipulations.

 

Despite company president Brad Smith’s mea culpa letter sent to employees afterwards, in which he called the graft “completely unacceptable” and demanded stronger oversight, Elabd argues the problem has only grown, noting Microsoft is still working with the blacklisted partner through an intermediary.

 

While Elabd was able to stonewall a similar bribery episode in Nigeria, he was subsequently called in by a manager and eviscerated for his meddling, dubbed a “blocker” and ordered to “turn your head and leave it as is” if he encountered anything else “suspicious.” Apparently marked with some kind of scarlet letter from then on, he found himself shut out of lucrative deals, had travel requests denied, and was shunted to a “performance improvement plan.” He refused to subject himself to that indignity, a move that ultimately cost him his job.

 

That hasn’t stopped Elabd from tracking further fraud and bribery at Microsoft and its subcontractors. He claims to have documented bribes to Microsoft and its subcontractors from Qatar, Cameroon, and South Africa, and has forwarded that information directly to the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Unlike before, he says, the SEC and the US Department of Justice (DOJ) appear uninterested in pursuing the matter, even though he has submitted the evidence three times. For its part, Microsoft has blamed the pandemic for its failure or refusal to gather more evidence from abroad – evidence he says they don't actually need because he has provided it.

 

Microsoft has essentially achieved a monopoly over workplace software on the African continent, Elabd said in his claim, pointing out that governments working with Microsoft were “throwing away millions of public dollars on unused Microsoft products so a few select officials, partners, and employees can enrich themselves.”

 

As the manager told me all those years ago, all that matters is that Microsoft earns as much money as possible … The hidden message to employees is, ‘Do whatever you want, make as much money as you can, and the worst that can happen is you'll get fired’.

Microsoft insisted it had “previously investigated these allegations, which are many years old, and addressed them,” VP and deputy general counsel for compliance and ethics Becky Lenaburg told The Verge in response to Elabd’s claims. The company stressed it was committed to “ethical practices” and said its employees are all required to take “standards of business” classes that teach them how to report bribery incidents.

Armenian PM phones Putin over Nagorno-Karabakh escalation

 

Moscow mediates as Yerevan accuses Baku of violating ceasefire in disputed region

 

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan of Armenia called up Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday to discuss what Yerevan says is an alarming situation in Nagorno-Karabakh, a region populated with ethnic Armenians, claimed by Azerbaijan and currently patrolled by Russian peacekeepers.

 

Armenian media said the two leaders discussed reports of renewed tensions in the area that was contested during the 44-day conflict in 2020, which only ended after Moscow’s mediation. Armenia says Azeri soldiers have “invaded” the territory starting on Thursday, seizing two villages and using drones to kill at least three soldiers of the self-proclaimed Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR), whom the local authorities identified by name.

 

Armenia accused Azerbaijan of seizing two villages, Khramort and Parukh – which the Azeris call Farukh – located on the armistice line between Azerbaijan and the NKR established in 2020. The ensuing firefight, which involved Turkish-made Bayraktar TB-2 combat drones, resulted in more than a dozen wounded and three killed on the Armenian side, as well as unspecified Azeri casualties, the Armenian media reported.

 

Azerbaijan has denied the accusations, saying its troops were simply “continuing the process of clarifying their locations and positions without the use of force.”

 

Claims that “UAVs were allegedly used and an armed clash took place on the territory of Azerbaijan where Russian peacekeepers are temporarily stationed, leading to the death of our servicemen, is a lie and a provocation,” said the defense ministry in Baku.

 

While internationally recognized as Azerbaijan’s territory, Nagorno-Karabakh has been under the control of its ethnic Armenian majority since the 1990s, with Yerevan’s backing. Baku moved to retake the territory in September 2020, with support from Turkey. Moscow eventually brokered a ceasefire that left Azerbaijan in control of more than half the region, with the remaining territory – including the only land route to Armenia – patrolled by Russian peacekeepers.

China has reportedly negotiated a secret security pact with the Solomon Islands, setting off alarm bells in the US and Australia because of the potential for Beijing gaining a South Pacific beachhead from which it could block shipping traffic.

 

Chinese and Solomon Island officials are close to signing the agreement, the New York Times reported on Friday, citing documents leaked by opponents of the deal. If completed, the pact would give Solomon Islands Prime Minister Manasseh Sogavare the ability to call on China for protection, such as in cases of civil unrest. Beijing would be given rights to dock warships and access “all necessary facilities” on the islands.

 

Australia’s foreign ministry confirmed the authenticity of the draft security agreement and argued that its “Pacific family” is best-suited to provide security assistance to the Solomon Islands. It noted that Australia has come to the country’s aid in the past, such as when it activated a 2017 security treaty with the Solomon Islands to help restore order during riots last November.

 

The US State Department is building an embassy in the Solomon Islands decades after closing its diplomatic outpost in Honiara. Charles Edel, who is the Australia chairman at the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington, argued that the secret security deal with China would degrade Australia’s security. “This is deeply problematic for the United States and a real cause of concern for our allies and partners,” he told the Times.
