We were cheated out of much of what was Trumps agenda for four years, during which time β€œthey” tried to prevent him from being elected, then inaugurated, and spent the rest of his term trying to remove him from office, and even impeached him AFTER his term, ALL on β€œTrumped-up” charges.

We were cheated out of effective people being appointed to key positions, due to approval processes, by people who HATE this country.

We were cheated out of several years of the β€œnormalcy” that we had become accustomed to, due to β€œCovid”, and all of the idiocy that came with it, some of which we are still experiencing.

We were cheated out of the 2020 and 2022 elections, with no help from the courts, the legislatures, or the executive branch, at the federal or state levels.

The military and law enforcement have failed to step up. It is arguable that they would stand against their own sworn oaths of office, if so ordered. They have become a sham.

And the exposure from the Twitter files shows direct involvement of the IC (Intelligence Community - ALL OF THEM) AGAINST We the People and the Constitution.

And now, β€œthey” are trying to prevent him from running again; the best we can expect is more of the same.

We will NOT be able to vote our way out of this mess; nor will we be able to pray our way out; though I caution against giving up either.

IMO, there is NO effective β€œConstitutional remedy”; nor is there a means for a β€œredress of grievances”.

We are at the point of the β€œlong train of abuses”, cited in the Declaration of Independence.

Rare, green comet to brighten night sky for first time in 50,000 years

 

Get ready to look up: A rare comet is set to brighten the night sky for the first time in 50,000 years.

 

The newly discovered comet, Comet C/2022 E3 (ZTF), was discovered last March when it was within Jupiter’s orbit. The greenish β€œcosmic snowball” hasn’t soared close to Earth since the last ice age, according to NASA and other astronomy experts.

 

And starting this week, stargazers have a chance to catch sight of the elusive comet β€” no telescope necessarily needed.

 

The comet will be closest to the sun on Jan. 12 and nearest to Earth on Feb. 2, NASA said.

 

β€œComets are notoriously unpredictable, but if this one continues its current trend in brightness, it’ll be easy to spot with binoculars, and it’s just possible it could become visible to the unaided eye under dark skies,” NASA wrote on its β€œWhat’s Up” blog.

 

For the best chance of catching early sight of the comet, sky-gazing folks in the Northern Hemisphere should plan to stay up past midnight, according to EarthSky. The comet will most likely be visible to the unaided eye at night toward the end of January when Comet C/2022 E3 (ZTF) approaches Polaris, the organization said.

 

The comet won’t be the only celestial treasure to cross the night sky this month.

 

Three planets β€”Jupiter, Saturn and Venus β€” can be spotted without binoculars or a telescope at different points throughout January, according to NASA. And in the few hours after sunset, bright winter constellations will light up the sky.

No, Former President Trump Did Not Fill The Strategic Petroleum Reserve

 

President Trump’s Odd Claim

 

The announcement prompted an odd response from former President Trump. Through his spokesperson, President Trump claimed:

 

β€œSo after 50 years of being virtually empty, I built up our oil reserves during my administration, and low energy prices, to 100% full. It’s called the Strategic National Reserves, and it hasn’t been full for many decades. In fact, it’s been mostly empty.”

 

There’s just nothing about that statement that is true. As you can see in the graphic below, the SPR levels have never fallen below 500,000 thousand (i.e., 500 million) barrels of crude oil since the 1980s.

 

In fact, the highest level ever for the SPR was in 2010, when Barack Obama was president. Further, there was actually a net decline in the SPR when President Trump was in office. When he took office in January 2017, the SPR contained 695 million barrels. When he left office four years later, the SPR contained 638 million barrels. So not only is the claim of filling it untrue, but the level of the SPR actually declined while President Trump was in office.

Though I was glad to see this post linked to another post that was notable, I very much think >>18128242 is notable in and of itself.

 

And, it seems this topic would merit much discussion among the anons on the board, especially as we move ever deeper into this psyop with seemingly little winning for our side to this point. Granted, some progress has been made in bringing more awareness to the public as to what is really going on in this here realm. Unfortunately, that awareness has not yet translated to meaningful change at the societal level. And, there is valid room for argument that we are more deeply divided than we have ever been in any number of areas one might choose to study.

 

To be sure the topic of Maga as it relates to the 5th, and highest, degree in the church of satan hierarchy has been discussed at length on these and other boards. But, based on a quick qresear.ch investigation, I only came across one post >>602174 from 2019 that mentions it. And, the only response to the poster who pointed out the correlation was derision for needing a whambulance.

 

Though I’ve been aware of the two Maga’s at play for quite some time, I’ve always quietly prayed that POTUS was simply co-opting their Maga in an effort to flip the script and regain control of the situation in a positive manner. But, the longer this thing drags out, and the more hopium we are fed that falls flat on its face time and time again, the harder it is for me to quell the sickening feeling that it could actually be one of the most demented dark occult rituals the public has been exposed to in recent decades.

 

At the very least, it seems that a renewed exploration of the topic would be beneficial for old and newfags, alike. As it seems very unlikely that Trump team would be unaware of the overlap before rolling out the marketing campaign. That would be super sloppy, at best. And, DJT may be many things, but sloppy ain’t one! Though, I’m expecting more comments that I’m a demoralization shill than actual fruitful discussion, I figured I’d at least bring it to the table to see where it might go.

Here Are the Names of 10 Other Democrats Getting Roped Up in Biden's Classified File Scandal

 

As more has been divulged about President Joe Biden’s possession of classified information while he was vice president, other members of his current administration have been linked to the scandal.

 

The classified documents were found at the Penn Biden Center, a think tank that the president started in 2018.

 

As reported by Fox News, 10 members of Biden’s administration were formally employed at the think tank, including current Secretary of State Antony Blinken.

 

The list also includes Under Secretary of Defense for Policy Colin Kahl and White House Counselor Steven Richetti.

 

Blinken and Richetti were managing directors at the think tank while Kahl was a consultant.

 

The organization had recently been accused of accepting large amounts of donor money from China, a revelation discovered by the National Legal and Policy Center, which filed a complaint with the Justice Department in October 2020.

 

The NLPC found that $22 million had been given to Penn Biden Center by anonymous donors with the money coming from China.

 

β€œThe University of Pennsylvania has stonewalled all inquiries into the identities of the Chinese donors who made $22 million anonymous donations to the university,” NLPC Chairman Peter Flaherty said in 2021.

 

All 10 of the linked administration figures reside in the State and Defense Departments and hold high-ranking positions.

 

Spencer Boyer, the deputy assistant secretary of defense for NATO and Europe policy was a senior fellow at Penn Biden.

 

Deputy to the U.N. Ambassador Jeffrey Prescott was also a consultant and Ariana Berengaut, a national security advisor, served as a center director.

 

To round out the list: U.S. representative to the Organization of Security and Cooperation Europe Michael Carpenter, special assistant Juan Gonzalez, speechwriter Carlyn Reichel, and former deputy secretary of state Brian McKeon.

 

According to the New York Post, longtime University of Pennsylvania president Amy Gutmann and the former head of the school’s Board of TrusteesDavid Cohenwere also connected to the think tank, both attending Penn Biden’s opening ceremony.

 

Gutmann has since become U.S. Ambassador to Germany while Cohen was tapped for the Canada ambassadorship.

As a computer programmer, Aaron Swartz changed the internet forever and fiercely fought against the privatization of knowledge. The federal government persecuted him for it until his death by suicide in 2013.

I agree with you to a point. I think a fertilized egg is a person and won't back down from that. However, it is ugly to have people surveilling every move and decision of other people. Women have known (or used to) things that could act as abortifacients. The thing is, when people take a private action that I disagree with it does not have the society-wide implications of policies made by states.

 

Unless a woman is raped, she had a choice prior to the conception of the baby. No one should expect sexual activity has no consequences. Even sex between married people could result in a child at an inopportune moment. Why that should result in the death of the one innocent party is beyond me.

 

On to your point about CPS. CPS is not constitutional. When do we allow for the "arrest" of an innocent person for the crimes of the adult parents? I have seen and to a limited extent experienced CPS terrorism. CPS operates to destroy families in myriad ways. One of them is to insist on newborn vaccines. Parents have literally been told to get certain medical care or else be 'investigated" by CPS.

 

I think it is called the Adoption and Safe Families Act, put in place under Clinton that turned child confiscations by the state into a profitable business for them. Guess what? A child whose parental rights have been terminated can be experiments on by Big Pharma without parental consent. It has been documented that even in most situations where a mom or dad struggles with drug addiction the outcome for the child is better if they remain with their parents. Many drug addicted women got that way after they lost a child, not before.

EXCLUSIVE: Republican Senators Chuck Grassley and Ron Johnson are pressing the White House over its interpretation of federal records laws after the discovery of classified records from President Biden’s time as vice president at the Penn Biden Center and another undisclosed location.

 

According to a letter Wednesday to Richard Sauber, special counsel to Biden, first obtained by Fox News Digital, the senators question whether Biden properly followed the Presidential Records Act.

 

"The discovery of these documents raises questions about whether then-Vice President Joe Biden properly followed the Presidential Records Act and the possibility that other documents have not been properly archived," they wrote.

 

The senators state that in July 2021 and June 2022, they asked the White House about Biden's use of a non-government email for government business and communication with his son, Hunter.

 

Grassley and Johnson said the White House responded on June 28, 2022 stating, "I can say that the Biden/Harris Administration recognizes and understands the federal records laws."

 

"The Biden Administration may understand the federal records laws but it does not appear that they were properly followed by then-Vice President Biden," they wrote.

 

"In light of the recent news regarding the inappropriate storage of classified documents, the White House must immediately provide transparency relating to then-Vice President Biden’s archiving of records," they concluded, demanding all info by Jan. 25.

 

The White House did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital's request for comment on the letter.

"Let me get rid of the easy one first," Biden said. "People know I take classified documents and classified information seriously."

First case of β€˜Kraken’ Covid variant detected in Russia

The first case of a new, more contagious Covid-19 sub-variant known as the β€˜Kraken’ has been recorded in Russia, the country’s consumer watchdog, Rospotrebnadzor, announced on Thursday.

 

An infection with the Omicron subvariant officially known as XBB.1.5 was found in Penza Region in central Russia, 600km southeast of Moscow, as part of the monitoring of information uploaded daily to the Virus Genome Aggregator of Russia.

 

The woman who contracted the disease has not left Russia within the past two months, the agency said. She had the disease in a mild form and recovered in the space of a week, it added.

 

β€œCurrently, a wide range of varieties of the Omicron strain has been detected in Russia, but the dominant strain is still Omicron BA.5,” which has been around since early 2022, the agency said.

 

Rospotrebnadzor added that there are no plans to introduce any new restrictions in the country due to the discovery of the variant. It was nicknamed β€˜Kraken’ by scientists due to the shape of the virus, which resembles the mythical sea monster.

 

What the World Health Organization (WHO) earlier described as β€œthe most transmissible subvariant that has been detected yet” was first tracked down in the US in October. XBB 1.5 has become the dominant coronavirus strain in America.

 

On Thursday, the WHO said that Kraken infections have already been reported by 38 nations. β€œBased on its genetic characteristics and early growth rate estimates, XBB.1.5 may contribute to increases in case incidence globally,” the UN health body warned.

 

Assessment of the severity of the new strain is ongoing, the WHO said, adding that the Kraken is not known to carry mutations that could make it more or less harsh.

 

Last week, Russian infectious disease specialist Sergey Voznesensky said the rapid spread of the new variant around the world is no reason for panic. It is a subvariant of Omicron and all of them are β€œmore transmissible than all previous variants… and they cause a milder form of the disease,” he explained.

FBI raids alleged Chinese police outpost in New York's Chinatown, report

FBI counterintelligence agents reportedly raided an office building that contained an alleged covert Chinese police outpost in New York's Chinatown. Theraid last fallwas part of a criminal probe from the U.S. attorney's office in Brooklyn, according to people with knowledge of the investigation, The New York Times reported Thursday.

 

Beijing's outpost is one of more than100 similar officesaround the world suspected of carrying out police activities without jurisdiction or diplomatic authorization. Officials in Ireland, Canada and the Netherlands have called for the Chinese Communist Party to end police activities in their countries.

 

"The F.B.I. raid is the first known example of the authorities seizing materials from one of the outposts," the Times stated. The Chinese Embassy in Washington said volunteers run the outposts to assist Chinese nationals in tasks such as renewing their licenses in China.

 

"They are not police personnel from China," embassy spokesperson Liu Pengyu said. "There is no need to make people nervous about this."

However, Chinese state media reports reviewed by the paper show thatChinese officials have described the outposts as "overseas police service centers" that effectively collect intelligence and solve crimes.

 

Netherlands-based Chinese dissident Lin Shengliang said he and other expats are concerned they are being tracked. "I am extremely anxious about them," he said. "There are no channels to report this, and there’s nothing we can do about it."

 

China has a history of surveilling both dissidents and foreign citizens abroad. Last month, the FBI arrested a Chinese national for allegedly harassing a pro-Democracy activist from China at a Boston college. Meanwhile last year, the Federal Communications Commission called the popular Chinese-owned video platform TikTok "a sophisticated surveillance tool."

After a state court ruled that Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner’s time in office did not constitute misbehavior, the Pennsylvania Senate has voted for an indefinite delay of his impeachment trial.

 

State senators voted 28-20 on Monday to delay impeachment indefinitely while readopting the rules of impeachment.

 

The trial was set to take plan in late January but no new date has been proposed.

 

In early January, the Commonwealth Court ruled the actions of Krasner alleged in the articles of impeachment did not rise to the level of β€œmisbehavior in office.”It did not, however, dismiss the impeachment proceedings.

 

The House voted to impeach Krasner in November based on Republican lawmakers’ arguments thatKrasner failed to enforce the laws of Philadelphia and prosecute criminals, spurring a recent crime wave sweeping across the city. Though the House decided to impeach, the trial itself would be conducted by the Senate.

 

Other cities in the commonwealth, such as Pittsburgh and Harrisburg, have also seen a rise in crime – especially murder – but Philadelphia’s murder increase has stood out in comparison. It’s unclear when a date for the trial would be established.

SMPA, Google join forces to thwart political spin

The project, called Face the

Facts USA, will employ staff

from the school’s Center for

Innovative Media and Google,

along with a line-up of media

companies to present informa-

tion on political issues in more

understandable and visually

compelling way than tradition-

al press. The efforts will kick off

July 28 – about 100 days before

the presidential election – and

continue into 2013.

"I have long felt that we

need more creative ways to

engage [in] more serious con-

versation,” SMPA Director

Frank Sesno, the project’s cre-

ator, said. β€œWe want to try to…

infuse the conversation with

facts – transformative facts,

interesting facts that can shed

light on the issues that people

have to know about if they’re

going to be informed citizens

and voters."

One fact each day will be

blasted out via social media

and broadcast on the project’s

website using images or vid-

eos about key issues like na-

tional debt, unemployment,

infrastructure, health care and

foreign policy.

Google will feature the

daily facts on its news site and

promote the project through

its social network Google Plus.

Atlantic Media, the company

that owns The Atlantic maga-

zine, will also serve as a part-

ner and design the website.

Sesno’s vision for the proj-

ect came to life after meeting

entrepreneur and philanthro-

pist Ed Scott, co-founder of the

D.C.-based think tank Center

for Global Development, who

committed a large donation to

get the project off the ground.

Sesno declined to disclose the

size of that donation, but said

the project would look to raise

about $3 to $4 million total.

A team of 13 editors,

producers and researchers

– including six undergradu-

ate and graduate student

researchers from the school

– met for the second edito-

rial meeting Wednesday to go

over the research behind the

project with Face the Facts ex-

ecutive director Tom Farmer,

a former CNN executive pro-

ducer who worked with Ses-

no at the television network.

The challenge of the ef-

fort, Farmer said, will be pre-

senting information that not

only captures Internet buzz,

but also sticks with voters

as they snuff out campaign

talking points from President

Barack Obama and likely Re-

publican presidential candi-

date Mitt Romney.

"We want to create an

environment where smart

people can get together and

do better and do wonderful

On Wednesday, attorney Ty Clevenger joined the Joe Hoft Show on TNT Radio to discuss his case involving Seth Rich and the DNC and the Podesta emails that were released by WikiLeaks before the 2016 election.

 

We now know that there is no information whatsoever that Russia hacked the DNC and stole emails or provided them to WikiLeaks. It was a lie perpetrated by the Deep State and mainstream media for years. This lie was finally admitted by the DOJ in a hidden release of documents on late election night, November 3, 2020 and later in court documents.

 

Roger Stone and others were vindicated, but how the DNC and Podesta emails made it to WikiLeaks was never addressed. It was revealed that the DOJ knew the Steele dossier was a sham and a lie and yet used this and the phony story of Russia collusion in an attempted coup of the Trump Administration. No one has been charged with sedition or the overthrow of the Trump Administration to date and yet this lie haunted the country for the entire four years of the Trump Administration.

 

Clevenger has been attempting to get to the bottom of who supplied the DNC and Podesta emails to the DNC for several years now. This was always the key to the Russia collusion nightmare. If Russia didn’t supply emails to WikiLeaks (the FBI has never asked WikiLeaks who supplied the emails by the way) then the Russia collusion story was built on a lie.

 

After years of denying they had anything related to Seth Rich, the FBI and DOJ were caught lying over and over again. In September, a judge finally demanded the FBI and DOJ provide all they had in regard to Seth Rich and the FBI responded requesting another 66 years before releasing the information.

 

Attorney Clevenger, who’s been after the truth for years, shared the following yesterday (starting at the 17:30 mark in the audio below).

 

I think we’re getting close to the final step which is to show that the US government unequivocally fabricated the whole initiative. I mean this was not just an exaggeration based on Christopher Steele’s report, I think we’re on the verge of showing that before Christopher Steele’s report came about, that the FBI and the CIA knew for sure that the Russians had nothing to do with this hack.

 

Specifically, I think we’re getting close to getting our hands on some of the Seth Rich documents, and all evidence so far points to him being the source of the leaks rather than hackers from Russia.

I think we’re getting close. Within the past two or three months the FBI was forced to disclose that it has a report on Seth Rich’s work laptop. They’ve hidden that from us for five years and they just finally admitted this. They’re trying to withhold it.

A friend of his that he’d known for 35 years in the Intel community read to him from a report stating that the DNC leaks came from Seth Rich. FOX News relied on sources that were reading from such a report.

 

So we think that we’ve identified that report that would show that they have known all along.

 

Clevenger goes on to discuss Crowdstrike was relied on to investigate the servers at the DNC and the FBI never did and the CIA’s involvement and responses declining to deny of involvement.

Arizona’s growing school choice program saving taxpayers money, analysis finds

Nonprofit report comes as new Democrat Gov. Katie Hobbs said the expansion of Arizona’s Empowerment Scholarship Account program would bankrupt the state’s budget.

In her Jan. 9 State of the State address,Gov. Katie Hobbs said the expansion of Arizona’s Empowerment Scholarship Account program would bankrupt the state’s budget.

 

β€œFunding this expansion is poised to cost Arizona taxpayers an estimated $1.5 billion over the next 10 years if left unaddressed,” she said.

 

In an analysis released Wednesday, the nonprofit Common Sense Institute posits that theshift of students away from public schools is likely to save enough money to cover the increaseand leave the state with more income than it had before.

 

According to Arizona Department of Education data, public school enrollment has fallen by 31,000 students since 2019. Meanwhile, charter school enrollment has increased by 20,000.

 

Arizona’s ESA program, which allows applicants to spend a portion of taxpayer dollars on private school costs, has dramatically expanded since it was made available to all students in 2021. The institute’s analysis of state spending shows 20,000 additional students are expected to draw funds from the program for their non-public school education.

 

β€œBased on current data, the increase in annual ESA program costs attributable to universal eligibility is $197.9 million. Existing program costs add another approximately $179 million, for a total cost of about $377 million,” the report said. β€œWhile the cost of the ESA’s program under universal eligibility exceeds the additional $33 million initially appropriated by the Legislature, the Arizona Department of Education likely has sufficient excess funding to more than cover the difference, due to continued post-pandemic enrollment declines.”

 

Using ADE data, CSI estimates an $8 million end-of-year surplus as of the first quarter of the year, given system-wide enrollment trends.

 

The report came on the same day newly-elected Superintendent Tom Horne announced ADE had approved 24,366 delayed ESA requests, totaling more than $22.2 million delayed since the second quarter of 2022.

Three weeks ago, Penn President Amy Gutmann announced that she had been nominated by President Joe Biden to serve as the next United States ambassador to Germany. Gutmann, the longest-serving president in University history, was first appointed to the role in October of 2004. Her contract was extended twice in 2012 and 2016 and is set to expire in June 2022. Gutmann made an impact at Penn in a number of ways, most prominently on fundraising campaigns, programs for first-generation students, and campus expansion projects.

 

Here are some of Gutmann’s greatest accomplishments during her time at Penn.

 

Academics

Months after Gutmann was initially appointed President, she launched the Penn Integrates Knowledge program in 2004 to recruit β€œrenowned scholars whose work draws from two or more academic disciplines” to Penn. Today, the program includes more than 20 different professors from across the University.

 

After Gutmann’s contract was extended in 2012, she spearheaded a variety of initiatives, including the construction of new buildings on campus and around the world.

 

In March 2013, Gutmann announced the opening of Perry World House, a hub for global engagement on Locust Walk. A year later, in June 2014, Gutmann announced the creation of the Penn Center for Innovation which is now located at the Pennovation Center.

Most recently, Gutmann launched thePenn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagementin February 2018, one year after Biden was named a Penn professor. The Center offers internships to Penn students, as well as opportunities to dialogue over public policy issues.

A growing number of Republican donors, officials, and lawmakers are distancing themselves from GOP Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, signaling frustration within the party's current leadership.

 

House Republicans and former President Donald Trump have been publicly critical of McConnell for approving the year-end $1.7 trillion omnibus spending bill.

 

"The big problem the Republican Party has is Mitch McConnell," Trump told Just the News on Tuesday, suggesting the senator's history of big spending and family ties to China will undercut the messaging that House Republicans have mapped out for 2023.

 

Former congresswoman and Republican presidential candidate Michele Bachmann echoed Trump's concerns about McConnell, calling on the veteran senator to retire."People really do want a change," Bachmann told the John Solomon

 

Reports podcast on Wednesday. "And I hope that Mitch McConnell will take the hint and enjoy the rest of his life with his wife quietly in Kentucky. And we wish him well. I think that's exactly what former President Trump was saying. And I think that the Republican base would agree with that."

 

Bachmann added she doesn't think McConnell enjoys much support among the Republican base or the American people more broadly.

 

"One thing politicians need to realize is they have a window of time on the stage, the political stage," she explained. "I don't think Mitch McConnell understands that his time is over. And people don't want his kind of back-scratching politics, big spending politics. People are done with that. And I would hope, with all due respect, that Mitch McConnell will just recognize that and leave. I think even to leave now in his term would be wise, and to hand the reins over."

 

Rep. Ralph Norman (R-S.C.) expressed similar sentiments on the "Just the News, No Noise" television program on Wednesday, saying McConnell doesn't stand for conservative principles and should step aside.

 

"His time has come and gone," said Norman. "Mitch McConnell is a problem that's standing in the way of America being great again. And Donald Trump is exactly right and others. The base senses that, and you just cannot continue under his rule … the American people are going to have to let their senators know they're not going to stand for Mitch McConnell."

 

As Republicans increasingly abandon McConnell, they're doing the same with McDaniel as she seeks another term in what's become a highly contested reelection bid for RNC chair.

 

The latest blow came on Wednesday, when one of the country's foremost conservative donors endorsed attorney and former Trump campaign adviser Harmeet Dhillon, who's challenging McDaniel to be the next chair of the Republican National Committee.

 

"I am supporting Harmeet Dhillon to become the next chairwoman of the RNC because America's path forward is at stake,"Home Depot cofounder Bernie Marcuswrote in a letter to RNC members obtained by Just the News…

Epilepsy ANON

 

Hey anons, I know some of you have seen me post here before and just wanted to follow up because hopefully by understanding this problem, we can fix it. It's the definition of a problem that is treated but never cured.

 

I'm using zinc, magnesium, and probiotics, and vitamin D which have all helped to minimize the intensity of my seizures, but because they've still been happening, I've started taking Keppra. They're focal aware seizures so basically I just space out and feel really weird for a second or two, but they're still seizures and that freaks me out. Taking the medicine freaks me out pretty bad too. Today is the first day. Makes me feel a little dizzy and spacey but overall not too bad. Still worried as there can be a ton of side effects that are not good. Will keep anons updated.

 

From my past research I've found that fecal microbiota transplantation can cure epilepsy, and zinc deficiency as well as magnesium deficiency are both common, as well as gut dysbiosis.

The Supreme Court on Wednesday declined to block a New York law restricting concealed carry from taking effect.

In June of 2022, the Supreme Court struck down a New York requirement that concealed carry permit applicants demonstrate a need to carry a firearm. In turn, the state legislature passed the sweeping Concealed Carry Improvement Act, including an exhaustive list of "sensitive locations" in which permitholders could not lawfully carry.

 

That law has since been the subject of considerable legal scrutiny, with a U.S. District Judge imposing an injunction on the law from taking effect last year. The Second Circuit Court of Appeals had stayed that injunction without specifying its reason. Plaintiffs had asked the nation's top court to reimpose the injunction, which the court declined to do.

 

A statement from Associate Justice Samuel Alito, whom Associated Justice Clarence Thomas joined, noted that the Second Circuit has previously "issued unreasoned summary stay orders, but in those cases it has ordered expedited briefing" and encouraged plaintiffs to again seek relief " if the Second Circuit does not, within a reasonable time, provide an explanation for its stay order or expedite consideration of the appeal."

 

New York Republican Rep. Claudia Tenney lamented the court's refusal to halt the law's implementation, saying on Twitter that "I am disappointed that SCOTUS did not stop NY’s unconstitutional CCIA from going into effect."

"The Supreme Court must intervene like they did in NYSRPA v. Bruen," she continued, referencing the court's 2022 ruling that ended the state's "proper cause" requirement for permit applicants.

Spoilers for a side quest in a decades old game ahead

But there's a side quest where you the player get tipped off to some shady business going on at an island facility. When you get there, you come across a grisly scene. Blood, some bodies and horror show rooms. With plenty of full and half Ogres along with some gnomes.

The gnomes, it turns out, have been running an operation. Kidnapping women from around the country and taking them to the island to be forcibly impregnated by ogres to breed subservient half ogre children. Often times dying in the process after a couple births. It's tragic, dark and horribly fucked up. This is usually when it clicks in the players head that every gnome they run into, seems to be flanked by half ogre bodyguards. This side quest explains that's all half ogres are made this way, which adds an extra layer of tragedy to the player character of they choose to be a half ogre at the start.

The gnomes conspiracy is so wide reaching, that they kidnapped the royal family of the kingdom, and did this to the queen until she died, because the royal family displeased them.

After discovering this awful revelation, you can return to the mainland and expose it all to a local newspaper. The journalist is horrified over it and vows that the people must know.

Wait a few days, and returning to that same paper you'll find the journalist is gone, replaced with a gnome. Who claims to have no idea what you're talking about, and has never heard of that journalist ever working there. If you return to the island, the entire operation is gone. Everything has been cleaned up. With no trace of the operation left behind or proof that it happened.

that is how the quest ends. You didn't stop it, you don't affect it in any meaningful way, you don't even have proof at the end. There is no resolution, you just found something nobody was supposed to know about and they cover it up and the game moves on.

 

It is to this day, the most accurate depiction of a conspiracy and cover up that I know about in a video game or entertainment medium.

Clevenger has been attempting to get to the bottom of who supplied the DNC and Podesta emails to the DNC for several years now. This was always the key to the Russia collusion nightmare. If Russia didn’t supply emails to WikiLeaks (the FBI has never asked WikiLeaks who supplied the emails by the way) then the Russia collusion story was built on a lie.

 

After years of denying they had anything related to Seth Rich, the FBI and DOJ were caught lying over and over again. In September, a judge finally demanded the FBI and DOJ provide all they had in regard to Seth Rich and the FBI responded requesting another 66 years before releasing the information.

 

Attorney Clevenger, who’s been after the truth for years, shared the following yesterday (starting at the 17:30 mark in the audio below).

 

I think we’re getting close to the final step which is to show that the US government unequivocally fabricated the whole initiative. I mean this was not just an exaggeration based on Christopher Steele’s report, I think we’re on the verge of showing that before Christopher Steele’s report came about, that the FBI and the CIA knew for sure that the Russians had nothing to do with this hack.

 

Specifically, I think we’re getting close to getting our hands on some of the Seth Rich documents, and all evidence so far points to him being the source of the leaks rather than hackers from Russia.

 

Clevenger next shared the background on Seth Rich:

 

Back in 2016 Seth Rich was working for the Democrat National Committee. He was murdered on July 10 of that year in what the police called a botched robbery. Although his watch wasn’t taken, his phone wasn’t taken, other valuables like his wallet were not taken. Although there was immediate suspicion that he was involved release of DNC emails that were later published by WikiLeaks.

 

Julian Assange himself, the founder of WikiLeaks, all but said that the documents came from Seth Rich and they offered a $20,000 reward leading the arrest of the people that were responsible for the murder…

 

We’re trying to get that last step and show that the FBI and the CIA and the whole Obama Administration knew that this came from Seth Rich and they completely fabricated the Russia collusion narrative out of whole cloth.

 

I think we’re getting close. Within the past two or three months the FBI was forced to disclose that it has a report on Seth Rich’s work laptop. They’ve hidden that from us for five years and they just finally admitted this. They’re trying to withhold it.

Azeri and Israeli sources reported on Wednesday that Baku appointed its first-ever ambassador to "Israel".

The speaker, touching on a tripartite meeting with his counterparts from Ankara and Baku, stressed that issues related to the transportation and transit of goods and energy were being discussed between the three countries.

High-level official reveals he wore Nazi uniform

The leader of the Australian state of New South Wales, Dominic Perrottet, has confessed to wearing a Nazi uniform at a party celebrating his 21st birthday. New Zealand parents β€˜unable’ to name their babies β€˜King’

 

The word tops a list of the names most frequently rejected by the authorities

 

New Zealand’s Department of Internal Affairs has published the list of the most popular baby names chosen in 2022, while also including the names most often chosen by parents that end up not being permitted by the authorities.

 

Topping the most-rejected list is the name King, which has held the number one spot in New Zealand since 2009. Last year, the country’s health authorities ended up turning down the name a total of nine times.

 

Other rejected names in 2022 included Saint, which was rejected eight times, Royal (seven), Messiah (four), Prince or Princess (seven), Sovereign (three), Sire (two). The list also features names such as Duke, Empres, General, Justice, Major, Queen, Rogue, Royale, Saynt and Soulijah, all of which were turned down at least once last year.

 

Registrar-General of Births, Deaths and Marriages Jeff Montgomery told local media that New Zealand has special guidelines in place to ensure that the names given to children β€œdon’t cause offense, are a reasonable length and don’t represent an official title or rank.”

 

New Zealand health officials recommend parents avoid using swear words, official titles, numeric characters and symbols and include no more than 70 characters when choosing a name for their newborns.

 

Names that violate these criteria are reviewed by the registrar-general on a case-by case basis. In making a decision, the registrar-general weighs the significance of the name to the family against how it may be perceived by the public.

 

As for the most popular names in 2022, for boys it was Oliver, which topped the list for the tenth year in a row, followed by Noah and Leo. The name most frequently given to girls was Isla, followed by Amelia and Charlotte. The most popular gender-neutral name in 2022 was Riley.

BlackRock To Lay Off About 500 Employees

 

BlackRock is the latest Wall Street firm feeling the heat of an ugly 2022 and a significantly slower pace of dealmaking heading into 2023. As a result the firm, like many Wall Street firms we have reported on over the last few months, is reducing its headcount.

 

The world's largest asset manager is going to be reducing its workforce by about 500 jobs, CNN reported on Wednesday. The move comes following a "hiring spree" that the company undertook in recent years. It hasn't made major layoffs since 2019, the report notes.

 

CEO Larry Fink and BlackRock president Rob Kapito said in a memo out this week: "This week, after meaningful headcount growth in recent years, we are making some changes to the size and shape of our workforce. As a result of these steps, about 500 (or less than 3%) of our colleagues will be leaving BlackRock as we reallocate resources to our most critical growth opportunities."

 

The company grew its workforce by about 8% in 2022, Yahoo Finance noted. Headcount is still expected to remain 5% higher than one year ago, even after the layoffs, the same report says.

 

A spokesperson for the firm said the cuts were due to the β€œunprecedented market environment.” As we move past the holidays and well into the first month of 2023, job cuts and bonus cuts on Wall Street continue to pour in. Just yesterday, for example, we noted that Credit Suisse would be cutting up to 50% of its bonus pool.

 

Credit Suisse and Blackrock join a number of other Wall Street banks who laid off employees, cut bonuses or both after a torrid 2022. Goldman Sachs, for example, is set to lay off up to 4,000 employees, we noted last month. The bank was also "considering shrinking the bonus pool for its more than 3,000 investment bankers by at least 40 per cent this year".

 

Also in mid-December, we wrote that Ernst and Young would be cutting its bonuses entirely. The company held an "all hands" meeting two weeks ago where it delivered the news to its employees. The company is in the midst of splitting its audit business from a tax and advisory business heading into 2023.

 

Morgan Stanley's Asia banker bonuses were also at risk by as much as 50%, we wrote days before that. In December, we also noted that Jefferies was considering slashing bonuses.

Deadline Passes For Pfizer To Submit Results Of Post-Vaccination Heart Inflammation Study To US Regulators

 

Pfizer was required by the U.S. and Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to conduct multiple studies on its vaccine after the FDA approved the shot in August 2021 because regulators determined that without the studies, there would not be sufficient data to assess the β€œknown serious risks of myocarditis and pericarditis,” or heart inflammation and a related condition.

 

Regulators were also concerned about the potential risk of subclinical myocarditis, or heart inflammation without typical symptoms.

 

The FDA told Pfizer to carry out six studies, with various deadlines for completion and reporting final results to the agency. The first final deadline arrived on Dec. 31, 2022.

 

Pfizer was required to submit a report on the study, which was to assess the incidence of subclinical myocarditis following administration of a third dose of Pfizer’s vaccine, or a booster shot, in people aged 16 to 30.

 

It’s unclear whether Pfizer met the deadline. The company and the FDA did not respond to requests for comment, and neither have issued any information about the study or its results since the deadline passed.

 

According to the FDA, Pfizer had until June 30, 2022, to complete the study and then another six months to prepare and submit the final results.

 

In a Dec. 8, 2022, memorandum explaining why the FDA authorized Pfizer’s bivalent booster without any clinical data, FDA officials noted that Pfizer was β€œconducting additional safety-related post-authorization/post-marketing studies for the PfizerBioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine, including post-marketing requirements to assess known serious serious risks of myocarditis and pericarditis and an unexpected serious risk of subclinical myocarditis..”

The results of the study should be shared promptly, according to Jessica Adams, a former regulatory officer at the FDA.

 

β€œWe shouldn’t have to ask or demand this information. We should expect that it’d be promptly shared by default,” Adams wrote on Twitter.

 

Dr. Janet Woodcock, the agency’s principal deputy director, told Adams in an email that the FDA is β€œnot allowed to comment on potential actions on regulated products.”

 

It’s not clear how reporting results on a study relates to potential regulatory actions.

 

In light of the growing amount of evidence related to post-vaccination adverse events, some others are questioning the FDA’s delay in sharing information on the study.

Snowden is known for leaking classified documents exposing Washington’s surveillance efforts that targeted American civilians.

 

The story about Biden’s documents was first broken by CBS News on Monday, which reported that the president’s personal attorneys had found the documents at the Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement of the University of Pennsylvania on November 2 and reported them to the authorities.

 

On Wednesday, NBC News reported, citing sources, that Biden aides had discovered at least one other batch of classified documents at another location.

 

This bombshell infuriated Republicans, with some drawing parallels with the FBI raid at the residence of former President Donald Trump in search of classified materials. The agency reportedly seized around 300 sensitive files from the ex-president’s estate.

 

The White House, however, insisted that the two cases are different, claiming that, unlike Trump, Biden had not been notified that he was in possession of the documents, nor had he been asked to return them. Rather, he swiftly revealed the discovery to the National Archives and turned over the papers.

Navy Secretary Warns Arming Both US and Ukraine May Become β€˜Challenging’ in Next 6 Months

 

Navy Secretary Carlos Del Toro warned on Jan. 11 that arming both Ukraine and the United States may become challenging in the coming months amid a shortage of weapons.

 

Del Toro made the comments at the Surface Navy Association conference in Arlington, Virginia, when asked whether the Navy will soon have to choose between arming itself and helping to arm Ukraine amid its conflict with Russia, or whether it has already reached that point, according to Defense One.

 

β€œWith regards to deliveries of weapons systems for the fight in Ukraine … Yeah, that’s always a concern for us. And we monitor that very, very closely,” Del Toro replied.

 

While the secretary noted that the Navy is not β€œquite there yet,” he added that if the conflict goes on for another six months or a year, β€œit certainly continues to stress the supply chain in ways that are challenging.”

 

The majority of U.S. weapons given to Ukraine are land and not naval weapons.

 

Del Toro told reporters that Deputy Defense Secretary Kathleen Hicks has been working β€œvery closely with [the defense] industry, to motivate them to find out what their challenges or obstacles are to be able to increase their own production rates.”

 

Companies Need to Bolster Weapons Production

 

β€œIt’s obvious that … these companies have a substantial pipeline for the future,” Del Toro said. β€œThey now need to invest in their workforce, as well as the capital investments that they had to make within their own companies to get their production up.”

 

Del Toro’s remarks came shortly after Adm. Daryl Caudle, commander of U.S. Fleet Forces Command, also addressed the conference and accused defense companies of using the COVID-19 pandemic as an excuse for delaying weapons deliveries.

 

β€œI’m not as forgiving of the defense industrial base. I’m just not,” he said. β€œI am not forgiving of the fact that you’re not delivering the ordnance we need. All this stuff about COVID this, parts, supply chain this, I just don’t really care. We’ve all got tough jobs.”

 

β€œI need SM-6s delivered on time. I need more Mark 48 torpedoes delivered on time. OK, we’re talking about war fighting, national security, and going against a competitor here and a potential adversary that is like nothing we’ve ever seen. And we can’t [be] dilly-dallying around with these deliveries,” Caudle added.

 

To date, the Biden administration has authorized over $110 billion in aidβ€”via American taxpayer moneyβ€”to Ukraine amid its ongoing conflict with neighboring Russia.

 

Of that $110 billion, $45 billion came from the $1.7 trillion spending omnibus bill signed by President Joe Biden on Dec. 29 and aimed at keeping the government running until the fiscal year ends in September 2023.

 

Earlier in December, Biden announced that Washington was sending $1.8 billion in additional military aid to Ukraine, including a Patriot surface-to-air guided-missile defense system.
