EXCLUSIVE: More than 100 conservative leaders and groups organized by former Vice President Mike Pence's political advocacy group are backing a new resolution from Sen. Mike Braun, R-Ind., and Rep. Andy Barr, R-Ky., that would block a move by the Biden administration to promote a "woke capital agenda."

 

Last week, every Republican senator and West Virginia Democrat Joe Manchin introduced legislation that they hope will terminate a new Department of Labor rule that allows retirement plan managers to factor environment, social and governance (ESG) issues into investment decisions, which they say "politicizes" the retirement savings for 152 million Americans.

 

Advancing American Freedom (AAF) Executive Director Paul Teller wrote a letter, first obtained by Fox News Digital and signed by the heads of more than 100 conservative groups, urging Congress to rollback Biden's "politically inappropriate" and "financially irresponsible" rule.

A spokesman for the CGT union told Reuters there were delivery disruptions at the Donges, Normandy, Feyzin, Oudalle, and Flanders refineries, with roughly 75% of staff on strike.

 

The French government presented its pension reform plan earlier this month, which will raise the retirement age for most French workers from the current 62, the lowest in the EU, to 64, and increase the total number of years people must work in order to qualify for a full pension.

Geometrically, Comet ZTF has passed its closest to both the Sun and the Earth and is now headed back to the outer Solar System. Its orbit around the Sun has it gliding across the northern sky all month, after passing near Polaris and both the Big and Little Dippers last month. Pictured, Comet ZTF was photographed between the two dippers in late January while sporting an ion tail that extended over 10 degrees. Now below naked-eye visibility, Comet ZTF can be found with binoculars or a small telescope and a good sky map. Boeing Plans to Cut About 2,000 Finance and HR Jobs in 2023

 

Boeing plans to make staffing cuts in the aerospace company’s finance and human resources departments in 2023, with a loss of around 2,000 jobs, the company said.

 

“We expect about 2,000 reductions primarily in Finance and HR through a combination of attrition and layoffs,” Boeing said in a statement Monday. “While no one has been notified of job loss, we will continue to share information transparently to allow people to plan.”

 

The company, which recently relocated its headquarters to Arlington, Virginia, said it expects to “significantly grow” the overall workforce during the year. “We grew Boeing’s workforce by 15,000 last year and plan to hire another 10,000 employees this year with a focus on engineering and manufacturing,” the statement said.

 

Boeing’s total workforce was 156,000 employees as of Dec. 31, 2022, the company said.

 

The Seattle Times reported Boeing, which has been one of the largest private employers in Washington state, plans to outsource about a third of the eliminated positions to Tata Consulting Services in Bengaluru, India.

 

Mike Friedman, a senior director of communications, told the Times the other positions will be eliminated as the company makes reductions in finance and human resources support services.

 

“Over time, some of our corporate functions have grown quite large. And with that growth tends to come bureaucracy or disparate systems that are inefficient,” Friedman said. “So we’re streamlining.”

 

The Times reported about 1,500 of the company’s approximately 5,800 finance positions will be cut, with up to 400 more job cuts in human resources, which is about 15 percent of the department’s total staff.

Taiwan’s National Chung-Shan Institute of Science and Technology (NCSIST) has test-fired a new long-range cruise missile capable of reaching deep into the Chinese mainland, according to reports in the island’s media.

 

The NCSIST, a state-owned military R&D firm, is believed to have test-fired an extended-range version of the Hsiung Sheng cruise missile from its base in Jiupeng, on the island’s southern coast.

 

According to reports, the new surface-to-surface missile has a maximum range of 1,200 kilometers (746 miles), enabling it to strike as deep into mainland China as Wuhan and Changsha. It could also strike the Chinese People’s Liberation Army Navy (PLAN) fleet bases in Qingdao in the north and Sanya in the south, if fired from Taiwan.

Rep. Judy Chu Was Named ‘Honorary Chairwoman’ Of Alleged Chinese Intel Front Group

 

California Democratic Rep. Judy Chu was appointed to a leadership position within an alleged Chinese Communist Party (CCP) intelligence front group in 2019, according to a Daily Caller News Foundation investigation.

 

In August 2019, Chu was named “honorary chairwoman” of the Forums for Peaceful Reunification of China, an organization which opposes Taiwan’s independence, according to a DCNF translation of multiple sources. However, the U.S.-China Economic Security and Review Commission (USCC) has previously identified the organization as serving a CCP “intelligence service,” while multiple experts told the DCNF that they agreed with USCC’s determination.

 

Chu and the Forums for Peaceful Reunification of China did not respond to the DCNF’s request for comment.

 

The Forums for Peaceful Reunification of China is one of 33 anti-Taiwan independence organizations in the U.S. which serve as subchapters of the China Council for the Promotion of Peaceful National Reunification (CCPPNR), an organization USCC labeled as “directly subordinate” to the United Front Work Department (UFWD) in 2018.

 

The UFWD’s “primary missions” are to “liaison with foreign political parties,” “influence operations” and “intelligence collection,” the USCC has stated, and, towards that end, the CCP deploys UFWD operatives around the world to “co-opt and neutralize” potential opposition groups such as “ethnic minorities, religious groups and intellectuals.”

 

The Forums for Peaceful Reunification of China appointed Chu their “honorary chairwoman” during the 34th inauguration ceremony of the organization’s executive committee held at the Capital Seafood restaurant in Monterey Park on August 23, 2019, according to a DCNF translation of an article by the Las Vegas Chinese News Network and the website of another UFWD affiliate.

 

Several experts on Chinese intelligence operations confirmed that the Forums for Peaceful Reunification of China is a Chinese intelligence influence operation connected to the UFWD after reviewing Chinese government websites, USCC’s report and Chinese-language news sources.

 

“They are the same organization,” Russell Hsiao, executive director of the Global Taiwan Institute, told the DCNF.

 

Hsiao cited a 2013 article by Chinese state-run media outlet People’s Daily, which, among other things, highlighted the groups links to the Los Angeles Chinese Consulate as well as other groups in southern California allegedly tied to the CCP.

Bank of England blames Brexit for excess inflation

The country’s withdrawal from the EU free-trade area has fueled the surge in prices, the BoE’s Catherine Mann claims

 

Britain’s departure from the EU and the subsequent trade barriers have contributed to the inflation crisis in the country, Bank of England (BoE) policymaker Catherine Mann has claimed.

 

According to Mann, as cited by Bloomberg, there were signs that the cost-of-living crunch was beginning to abate in the US and the EU, but not yet in the UK.

 

All three had faced shocks to demand and supply driven by the “Covid and lockdown-induced global demand rotation and subsequent supply bottlenecks,” and the energy shock caused by Ukraine-related sanctions on Russia, Mann reportedly said on Monday at the Lamfalussy Lectures Conference in Budapest.

 

“However, the UK has also been affected by a third type of shock which makes it unique: no other country chose to unilaterally impose trade barriers on its closest trading partners,”she pointed out.

 

Mann’s comments come as inflation in the UK, which hit a four-decade high of 11.1% in October, has slightly cooled down to 10.5%, staying well above the BoE’s 2% target. Meanwhile, in the Eurozone, inflation has fallen back to 8.5%, while in the US it has declined to 6.5%.

 

Addressing inflation rates, Mann wondered: “Is there a turning point already visible in the data? For the US and the euro area, yes; for the UK, maybe stabilization.”

 

Last week, the BoE slashed its estimate of potential output, or the economy’s growth speed limit, to 0.7% for the next three years, blaming a “constellation of economic shocks”including Brexit. The figure is down from its 0.9% estimate in November.

 

The central bank has reiterated its predictions that the UK’s “level of productivity would be around 3.25% lower in the long run” because of its withdrawal from the EU free-trade area.

Famed NASCAR driver Kyle Busch has been sentenced to three-and-half-years in prison for gun possession without a license in Mexico, authorities there said late last week.

 

It is not clear how, or if, that sentence will be assessed.

 

According to a press release by Mexico’s Attorney General of the Republic office, a man visiting Quintana Roo, Cancún, was arrested by the National Guard when leaving the country on Jan. 27, after security personnel at the private FBO terminal in Cancún International Airport signaled that something was amiss with Busch’s baggage.

 

Mexican authorities identified the defendant as “Kyle Thomas B” from Nevada and said he was “credited with full responsibility in the commission of the crime of carrying a firearm without a license and possession of cartridges for the exclusive use of the armed forces.”

 

“In late January, Samantha and I enjoyed a several day vacation in Mexico,” he said. “When departing the country, my handgun was flagged during routine screening at the airport. I have a valid concealed carry permit from my local authority and adhere to all handgun laws, but I made a mistake by forgetting it was in my bag.”

 

According to Mexican authorities, Busch placed his luggage on the platform and x-rays took note of “a pistol-type firearm caliber. 380 with charger supplied with six hollow point cartridges” inside.

 

“When it was discovered, I fully cooperated with the authorities, accepted the penalties, and returned to North Carolina,” Busch’s statement continued. “Discovery of the handgun led to my detainment while the situation was resolved. I was not aware of Mexican law and had no intention of bringing a handgun into Mexico.”

 

On Jan. 29, the charges were presented by Mexico’s Agent of the Federal Public Ministry to what is termed a “Control judge” under an “expedited procedure,” deemed legal, and Busch was sentenced to three years and six months in prison as well as a fine of 20,748 pesos, or, roughly, $1,080, the Mexican press release said.

 

A Mexican legal website run by an online law firm explains that “[t]he expedited procedure is a mechanism that speeds up criminal prosecution proceedings [and] is applied in custodial sentences not exceeding 9 years or in others of a different nature.” A Mexican law review article written by a member of the judiciary says the procedure “is considered as a form of early termination, in which the defendant has agreed to be tried based on the data.”

“In the interview, I refer to the moment in time when I finally could see my belief in gender identity as a belief for the first time,” the mother penned. “It was this moment when I feel I moved out of experiencing this belief as absolute truth, and was able to ‘see’ it from the outside looking in” (emphasis hers).

 

She described the moment as feeling like “a pin came out of my head,” causing the whole belief system to collapse and returned to the cult analogy.

 

“How else could I describe being in something so deep, that I could not see outside of it?” she said. “At least when you are religious, you realize you hold beliefs, you understand you have a faith, and you consciously practice it. After a devastating earthquake hit Syria and Turkey, killing thousands of people, the US State Department showed no interest in lifting crippling economic sanctions on Syria that are specifically designed to prevent the country’s reconstruction.

 

As of Monday night, the earthquake has killed at least 2,921 people in Turkey and 1,444 in northwest Syria, including in Syrian government-controlled territory and areas controlled by anti-government fighters.

 

The Syrian Health Ministry said 711 people died in government-controlled territory. In areas of Syria’s northwest Idlib province that are mostly controlled by Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), an al-Qaeda-linked group, reports said 733 people had died.

 

State Department spokesman Ned Price said Monday that the US would work with NGOs in the country but wouldn’t engage with the government of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad. He didn’t give any indication that the US would lift sanctions on Syria.

 

When asked by Antiwar.com if the Biden administration was considering lifting sanctions, the State Department referred to Price’s comments about working with NGOs. “In Turkey, we have a partner in the government; in Syria, we have a partner in the form of NGOs on the ground who are providing humanitarian support,” Price said.

 

When pressed on why the US wouldn’t engage with Damascus, Price said it “would be quite ironic, if not even counterproductive, for us to reach out to a government that has brutalized its people over the course of a dozen years now.”

 

Price claimed that no other country has done more than the US to provide aid to the Syrian people. But US sanctions on Syria have a devastating impact on the civilian population, as a UN special rapporteur recently detailed in a report after visiting the country.

 

According to Al Jazeera, the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC), a US-based advocacy group, called on Monday for the immediate lifting of US sanctions on Syria. “Lifting of the sanctions will open the doors for additional and supplemental aid that will provide immediate relief to those in need,” the ADC said.

 

US sanctions have impeded relief efforts after earthquakes in the past. In June 2022, an earthquake in Afghanistan killed over 1,100 people, and UN officials said sanctions were complicating aid deliveries. But US sanctions on Afghanistan remained and are still in effect today despite UN warnings that six million Afghans are facing the risk of famine.

Facebook's parent company Meta is suing to ban Israeli surveillance company Voyager Labs from using Facebook and Instagram, alleging that the firm scraped the data of 600,000 users without their knowledge via tens of thousands of fake accounts, according to a report in The Guardian.

 

The lawsuit states that Facebook deleted 38,000 fake profiles set up by the firm, which has offices in the U.S., U.K., Israel, Singapore and the United Arab Emirates and which carries out research and development through a subsidiary in Israel.

 

The lawsuit alleges that Voyager Labs employed surveillance software that used fake accounts to gather data from Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn and Telegram in addition to Facebook and Instagram users. The data included posts, likes, friends, photos, comments and information from groups and pages.

 

Meta uncovered the surveillance activities in July 2022, according to the lawsuit.

 

The lawsuit is another step in Facebook's war on what it defines as a digital spying and surveillance industry, and sheds light on a market of unknown companies specializing in mining information from social networks. Voyager Labs is part of an industry purporting to predict crime according to past behavior and social media activity.

 

Since the Cambridge Analytica scandal in 2018, in which personal information on tens of millions of Facebook users was harvested for political propaganda purposes, including in the U.S. and the U.K., social networks have been limiting access to information and trying to make it more difficult to mine information about their users.

 

In practice, a game of cat and mouse exists between the social networks and the WEBINT (web intelligence) and SOCMINT (social media intelligence) companies that take advantage of exploits in the networks and offer mining and information extraction capabilities designed to bypass barriers set up by the networks.

"In the Kupyansk direction, assault and army aviation aircraft and artillery of the western battlegroup delivered strikes on manpower and equipment of units of the Ukrainian army’s 14th and 92nd mechanized brigades in areas near the settlements of Ivanovka and Berestovoye in the Kharkov Region and Novosyolovskoye in the Lugansk People’s Republic," the spokesman said.

 

The enemy’s losses in that area in the past 24 hours "totaled over 50 Ukrainian troops, two armored combat vehicles, four motor vehicles and a D-30 howitzer," the general specified.

 

Russian forces destroyed over 100 Ukrainian troops in the Krasny Liman area in the past day, Konashenkov reported.

 

"In the Krasny Liman direction, operational-tactical and army aviation aircraft, artillery and heavy flamethrowers of the battlegroup Center inflicted damage on units of the Ukrainian army’s 66th mechanized, 25th airborne, 95th air assault and 81st air mobile brigades," the spokesman said.

 

Russian forces eliminated "over 100 personnel, three armored combat vehicles and two motor vehicles," the general specified.

 

Russian forces eliminated over 90 Ukrainian troops in the Donetsk area in the past day, Konashenkov reported.

 

"In the Donetsk direction, over 90 Ukrainian troops, four armored combat vehicles, a Grad multiple rocket launcher and a Msta-B howitzer were destroyed as a result of damage inflicted on Ukrainian army units by combined firepower and offensive operations by assault teams of the southern battlegroup," the spokesman said.

 

Russian forces also wiped out a Ukrainian artillery ammunition depot near the settlement of Ilyichyovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic, the general added.

 

Russian forces struck two Ukrainian army brigades in the southern Donetsk and Zaporozhye areas over the past day, Konashenkov reported.

 

"In the southern Donetsk and Zaporozhye areas, artillery of the battlegroup East struck manpower and equipment of the Ukrainian army’s 1st tank and 72nd mechanized brigades in areas near the settlements of Ugledar and Vodyanoye in the Donetsk People’s Republic," the spokesman said.

 

The enemy’s losses in those areas in the past 24 hours amounted to over 80 Ukrainian troops, a tank, two armored combat vehicles, two D-20 howitzers, two D-30 howitzers, and also a Gvozdika self-propelled howitzer. Poland explains stance on war planes for Ukraine

The transfer of fighter jets must first be approved within NATO, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said

 

NATO members have not reached a consensus on the possibility of sending fighter jets to Ukraine, Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki has said. He noted that such a move must be approved by the bloc as a whole.

 

“If we are not consistent in supporting Ukraine, the future of Europe will be in question and the price we have to pay will be very high,” Morawiecki told Spanish newspaper El Mundo in an interview published on Monday.

 

“However, all decisions on jet fighters will be made within NATO, and there is no agreement at the moment … No decision has been made.”

 

The statement comes after Polish Deputy Defense Minister Wojciech Skurkiewicz said last week that Warsaw was not planning on supplying Kiev with US-made F-16s. He insisted that this step could only be taken “in full coordination” with other NATO members.

 

Last month, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky renewed his plea for the country’s Western supporters to donate military aircraft. France and the Netherlands have said in the past that they were open to the transfer of the jets.

 

Meanwhile, US President Joe Biden has denied that Washington was considering sending the F-16s to Ukraine. German Vice Chancellor Robert Habeck said last week that delivering fighter jets would “probably” be crossing a line with Russia and risk making Berlin a direct party to the conflict.

 

Kremlin Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov earlier said that continued deliveries serve as further proof that Western countries were directly involved in the hostilities.

Evidence has emerged casting serious doubt over the authenticity of tests carried out by BioNTech (Marketing Authorisation Holder) and Pfizer to prove the fidelity of their product by demonstrating that only the spike protein of SARS-CoV-2 is expressed in cells by the nucleoside-modified mRNA Pfizer-BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine (BNT162b2).

 

Several Western Blot tests were conducted to evaluate the protein expression of the mRNA in HEK cells transfected with the vaccine taken from different lots. Using this technique, the expressed proteins showed up as highly unusual looking ‘bands.’

 

Certain independent scientific experts have described these Western blots as the “smoking gun” evidence (particularly the “duplication” of the results) which suggest that BioNTech and Pfizer falsified key data as part of their submissions to the European Medicines Agency and the US Food and Drug Administration for securing emergency use authorisation (conditional) and later marketing authorisation approval of their product.

 

The bombshell evidence was dropped without so much as a ripple in the sea of brewing scandals washing up on the shores of the behemoth pharmaceutical company and its partner, BioNTech. However, some in the scientific community have taken notice and written about this scandal, known on social media as #Blotgate.

 

The fact there could be actual evidence to prove that Pfizer and BioNTech engaged in fraud by fabricating critical data would have major ramifications. For instance, their indemnity status (protection from any legal liability resulting from deaths or injuries caused by their product) which was written into their purchasing contracts and signed by many countries, would cease to apply.

How Did Biden Admin Retroactively 'Discover' Chinese Balloons in the U.S During the Trump Years?

The Biden administration has been trying to plug a gigantic hole in their story about Chinese spy balloons flying over U.S. territory during the Trump administration with no one in the government aware of it.

 

Initially, the Biden administration sought to deflect attention from their failure to shoot down the balloon by noting that Chinese spy balloons transited U.S. territory three times during the Trump years. But when several Trump administration officials hotly denied that charge, Biden administration officials changed their story. They claimed that the balloons were only over U.S. territory briefly — skirting Hawaii and flying over part of Florida — unlike this latest spy balloon, which traversed the entire width of the country. They also claimed that the balloons weren’t detected.

 

But how do we know this if the balloons weren’t detected and national leaders weren’t informed of their presence?

 

The American military had a “domain awareness gap,” according to Gen. Glen VanHerck, commander of U.S. Northern Command and North American Aerospace Defense Command.

 

“Every day as a NORAD commander, it’s my responsibility to detect threats to North America. I will tell you that we did not detect those threats,” VanHerck said. “And that’s a domain awareness gap that we have to figure out, but I don’t want to go into further detail.”

 

What’s a “domain awareness gap”? General VanHerck didn’t define the term, but Breaking Defense offered a partial explanation.

 

When VanHerck speaks of a “domain gap,” he’s referring to the U.S. Northern Command not having “the correct mix of sensor capabilities.”

 

The four-star general, a staunch proponent of beefing up US sensing capabilities to include over-the-horizon radars, did not disclose the number of past detection failures or where the balloons had flown. John Kirby, the White House National Security Council’s coordinator for strategic communications, said today that the Biden administration discovered three incidents during the Trump administration when “surveillance balloons, by the [Chinese government] transited US airspace” for “brief periods of time.” On Saturday a senior defense official told reporters there had been another incident earlier in Biden’s presidency. None were for the duration of last week’s saga.

 

That still doesn’t answer the question of how the balloon transits were detected after the fact. Here we get into the classified area of intelligence gathering,

 

“The intel community, after the fact … assessed those threats through additional means of collection and made us aware of those balloons that were previously approaching North America or transiting North America,” VanHerck said. He noted that USNORTHCOM does not have the authority to collect intelligence inside US borders but was able to track the movement of last week’s balloon because it was granted “specific authorities.”

So part of the problem was jurisdictional.

 

But what those “additional means of collection” are is classified. It still doesn’t answer the question of why no one was informed if the intel was somewhere in some database. That would appear to be a big gap in our intelligence gathering that General VanHerck and Northern Command might want to address with all speed.

Insult to Injury: Biden Regime Distributes Anti-Police ‘Black Resistance’ Flyers to Border Agents

What could be a more thankless job than to be a Border Patrol agent during the misrule of Alleged President Joe Biden? As migrants continue to stream in unprecedented numbers across the essentially nonexistent Southern border, it’s clear that Biden’s handlers don’t want border officials to do their jobs, insofar as those jobs involve screening the new arrivals and endeavoring to keep criminals, terrorists, and other unsavory elements out of the country. It wants to bring as many migrants as possible into the country, no matter what price American citizens have to pay. It has also been quick to demonize border officials, even in open defiance of the facts. And now the Biden regime has added insult to injury by distributing Black Lives Matter anti-police agitprop to Border Patrol agents. Do they want Border Patrol agents demoralized enough to quit their jobs?

 

The Washington Free Beacon reported Monday that Biden’s ideologues “distributed ‘Black Resistance’ flyers to U.S. Border Patrol agents that celebrated the Black Lives Matter movement and anti-American activist Colin Kaepernick.” The U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s Privacy and Diversity Office, which must be a delightful place to work, “circulated a poster that features the words #BlackPower, #BlackLivesMatter, and ‘Abolitionist,’ as well as watermarked images of Rep. Maxine Waters (D., Calif.) and Kaepernick.”

 

One Border Patrol officer spelled out exactly what is so outrageous about this: “BLM hates us, so does Maxine Waters. Kaepernick hates us. They’re anti-police advocates against the nation’s largest police agency.” Indeed. Black Lives Matter has said that Customs and Border Protection, “like other law enforcement agencies, are rooted in white supremacy and a history of slave-catching.” BLM added: “When we say #DefundThePolice, we mean all the police, including U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), who are demonstrating their slave-catching roots, riding horseback, and beating Haitian asylum-seekers with whips.”

 

There was just one catch: CBP agents didn’t beat Haitian asylum-seekers, or anyone else, and Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas knew that in Oct. 2022 when he declared: “Our nation saw horrifying images that do not reflect who we are. We know that those images painfully conjured up the worst elements of our nation’s ongoing battle against systemic racism. The images horrified us in terms of what they suggest and what they conjure up.” As soon as it became clear that Mayorkas said this even though he knew that no one had been whipped, he should have been made to resign. The fact that he was not indicates yet again that this America-Last administration wants to demonize the CBP, and police in general, in order to further its radical agenda. Truth doesn’t matter. Only the narrative does. And the overall goal of transforming the Land of the Free and Home of the Brave into something else altogether by overwhelming its population with new arrivals who have markedly different political and cultural values.

 

The project is well underway. The CBP reports that its officers had 2,766,582 “encounters” with migrants at the borders during fiscal year 2022, up significantly from 1,956,519 in fiscal year 2021 and 646,822 in fiscal year 2020. In October and November of 2022, there were 561,291. If migrants keep streaming into the U.S. at that rate, there will be well over three million “encounters” in this fiscal year.

 

And so it’s clear: as far as Old Joe Biden’s handlers are concerned, CBP agents are the enemy. If they’re stubborn enough to stay on the job nonetheless, they will be inundated with propaganda designed to inculcate within them the idea that they are evil and are doing something that is intrinsically wrong. The endgame is to compel thoroughly propagandized agents either to quit their jobs or do what is now called “quiet quitting,” doing nothing while remaining on the taxpayer payroll, refusing to do the bidding of white supremacist Amerikkka in keeping the poor, noble, victimized brown migrants out.

 

Has there ever been an administration like this one, so thoroughly at war with its own people that it actively works to demoralize and destroy a key law enforcement agency? The Biden regime’s anti-American reign of terror makes the Obama administration look positively drenched in the old red, white, and blue. If the House Republicans are worth their salt, they will open investigations to discover who is responsible for pushing this anti-police agitprop upon the Border Patrol, and demand the resignations of everyone involved. A recently released email shows that Centennial Elementary School in Olympia, Washington engaged in blatant segregation by barring white children from a student affinity group that meets during lunchtime.

 

The authenticity of the email has been confirmed by school officials according to conservative talk show host Jason Rantz.

 

School Principal Shannon Ritter tells parents in the email ““we have a 5th grade BIPOC student group that meets weekly during their lunch time.” She goes on to mention that the group does not include white children.

 

Ritter also says that the school is exploring adding an additional student ally club, citing the interest of some students. The message does not specify whether this hypothetical group will exclude white kids as well.

“I feel like it’s promoting segregation at our schools, and we’ve moved away from that,” she added.

 

Jurgens also mentioned she fears possible retaliation but still wants the district to end the racist student club.

The China spy balloon was then shot down after it left US territory and had collected all of its data for the Chinese Communist Party. This was an unprecedented event in US history.

 

The fake news media on Saturday played clean up for the Biden regime. The media hoped to convince Americans that these China spy balloons cross the US all the time. In fact, fake news insisted that this happened during the Trump years – three times.

 

Former Trump advisor John Bolton, former DNI Ric Grenell, Former Defense Secretary Mark Esper, Former Secretary of State and CIA Direcor Mike Pompeo, President Trump , Defense Secretary Mattis, and former DNI John Ratcliffe, spoke out that that this was a lie.

 

This never happened during the Trump years. And if it did happen, the top officials in Trump administration were not notified – which is just as bad.

 

So now the military is changing their story. Now they want you to believe that the intelligence community discovered the balloons during the Trump years — BUT NEVER NOTIFIED THEIR INTEL LEADERS!

Senior administration officials cited Sunday in Bloomberg reporting said that the U.S. didn’t learn about the previous balloons until after Trump had left the Oval Office.

I believe that Trump was one of them, was raised in an "elite" family, but that there was a line that he would not cross.

Prior to Trump, I was under the impression that anyone who was a multi-billionaire had to be corrupt. So that was one of the things that I didn't understand about Trump, but I voted for him anyways. Sri Lanka’s Collapse Over UN/WEF Agriculture Policies Should Be A Warning To The World

 

While eating caviar and sipping on fine wine, wealthy elites at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos hobnobbed with an assortment of academics, government leaders, and environmental activists to discuss their plans for a global transition in agricultural production. They all agreed that the conventional practices now feeding the world need to be scrapped and replaced by organic-style farming, which they claimed would help fight climate change and make food systems more secure.

 

They emphasized tying aid to the world’s 600 million smallholder farmers with efforts to “encourage” the adoption of organic methods, which they described with all the familiar buzzwords, such as “regenerative” and “sustainable. But the new fashion is “agroecology,” which not only prohibits modern pesticides, synthetic fertilizers, and GMOs, but discourages mechanization as well.

 

One wonders if these entitled leaders took a momentary pause in their deliberations to consider the ongoing suffering and starvation in Sri Lanka, where past president Gotabhaya Rajapaksa took this kind of advice and bought into the fantasy of becoming the world’s first “fully organic and toxin free” nation.

 

Amid cheers from Davos-type eco-extremists, Rajapaksa proudly announced his plans at the 2021 Glasgow Climate Summit. Almost overnight, he banned agrochemicals and forced growers to adopt organic farming and become “in sync” with nature.

 

Shortly after in July 2022, Rajapaksa fled for life amid mass protests and chaos as agricultural output dropped by 40%. Even today, more than 43% of children under five suffer from malnutrition there.

 

The Davos elites trumpet organic agriculture as the way to end food insecurity, even though it yields 35% less food per acre on average and could not possibly sustain the current population, let alone the almost 10 billion predicted by 2050. Their Swiss experts admit, and researchers confirm, that it cannot be scaled-up to feed even half the current world population.

 

In fact, every sustainability goal touted in Davos would be undermined by a shift to organic. Being 35% less productive means 50% more land needed to grow the same amount of food. Massively increasing farmland means cutting down forests and destroying habitat. That would devastate biodiversity and produce 50% to 70% more greenhouse gasses (GHGs).

 

Organic promoters should admit that organic farmers use lots of pesticides. They’re just older, less-targeted pesticides like copper sulfate, which are broadly toxic to humans and wildlife and must be used in greater amounts because they’re less effective.

 

Just weeks before the WEF at this year’s Conference of the Parties, a.k.a. the UN Convention on Climate Change in Egypt (COP27) and the UN Convention on Biological Diversity in Montreal (COP15), leaders were singing the same bad tune, calling for “regenerative agriculture,” “sustainable intensification” and the word on everyone’s lips: “agroecology.”

 

This cocktail of sustainability terms is just unsustainable peasant farming rebottled, and these efforts are the bastard children of policymakers infected with activist-fed misinformation.

Former London police officer sentenced to 30 years in prison for 'catalogue' of sexual assaults

 

A former London police officer has been sentenced to at least 30 years in jail for a "catalogue of violence and brutal sexual offending" in a decades-long campaign of abuse against women.

Key points:

David Carrick had previously pleaded guilty to 49 charges relating to 12 victims between 2003 and 2020, making him one of Britain's most prolific sex offenders.

 

Carrick's offences, which included 24 counts of rape, were all committed while serving in the Metropolitan Police.

 

The 48-year-old used his position of power to intimidate many of his victims, saying no one would believe their word against that of a serving officer, prosecutors said.

 

He appeared in London's Southwark Crown Court on Tuesday as Judge Bobbie Cheema-Grubb imposed a life sentence with a minimum term of 32 years minus the time he has already served.

 

Carrick had previously come to police attention over nine incidents including accusations of harassment, assault and rape between 2000 – the year before he began training with the Met – and October 2021, when he was first charged.

 

Prosecutor Tom Little told the court on Monday that some of the 49 charges covered multiple incidents and that Carrick admitted "no less than 71 instances of serious sexual offending", including 48 rapes.

 

"There was a catalogue of violence and sexual offending perpetrated on multiple victims, whether or not he was in a controlling or coercive relationship with them or not," Little said.

 

Some of his victims gave written statements to the court in which they said they no longer trusted the police.

 

Assistant Commissioner Barbara Gray said in a statement on Sunday evening that she was "truly sorry for the harm and devastation" caused to Carrick's victims.

 

"We let them down and we failed to identify a man in the ranks of the Metropolitan Police Service who carried out the most awful offences," she said.

 

"He should not have been a police officer."

But the harrowing details of Carrick's offending, which were outlined by prosecutors on Monday, demonstrate the scale of the task facing the Metropolitan Police – which has been damaged by revelations of a culture of corruption, racism and misogyny among some officers.

Prisoners mutinied in a northwestern Syria prison Monday following a deadly earthquake, with at least 20 escaping the jail holding mostly Islamic State group members, a source at the facility told AFP.

 

The military police prison in the town of Rajo near the Turkish border holds about 2,000 inmates, with about 1,300 of them suspected to be IS fighters, said the source.

 

The prison also holds fighters from Kurdish-led forces.

 

'After the earthquake struck, Rajo was affected and inmates started to mutiny and took control of parts of the prison,' said the official at Rajo jail, which is controlled by pro-Turkish factions.

 

'About 20 prisoners fled… who are believed to be IS militants.'

 

The 7.8-magnitude quake - which was followed by dozens of aftershocks in the region - caused damage to the prison, with walls and doors cracking, the source added.

 

The British-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights war monitor said it could not verify whether prisoners had escaped, but confirmed there was a mutiny.

 

At least 1,444 people died Monday across Syria after the devastating earthquake that had its epicentre in southwestern Turkey, the government and rescuers said.

 

In rebel-held parts of the country's northwest, at least 733 people were killed and more than 2,100 injured, according to the White Helmets rescue group.

 

The incident in Rajo comes on the heels of an IS attack in December on a security complex in their former de facto Syrian capital of Raqa, which aimed to free fellow jihadists from a prison there.

 

Six members of the Kurdish-led security forces that control the area were killed in the foiled assault.

 

The conflict in Syria started in 2011 with the brutal repression of peaceful protests and escalated to pull in foreign powers and global jihadists.

 

Nearly half a million people have been killed, and the conflict has forced around half of the country's pre-war population from their homes, with many seeking refuge in Turkey.
