Christian Woman Gets FIRED After Jewish Ohio Congressmen Accuse Her of 'Bigotry' For Sharing Gospel

Despite Jewish Ohio congressman Max Miller (R) apologizing to Ohio Right to Life communications director Elizabeth Marbach on Tuesday for demanding she "delete" a "bigoted" tweet preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ, he appears to have gotten her fired from her job in retaliation for refusing to renounce her faith.

From Republic Sentinel, "Exclusive: Ohio Right to Life fires Christian after Republican lawmaker blasts her for sharing the gospel":

Ohio Right to Life dismissed communications director Elizabeth Marbach after a Republican congressman, whose wife sits on the entity's board, publicly rebuked her for sharing the gospel on social media.

Marbach said in exclusive comments to The Sentinel that she "absolutely" does not regret making the post because "now millions have read the gospel message."

Marbach, a former Trump campaign and Ohio Republican Party staff member, tweeted on Tuesday that "there's no hope for any of us outside of having faith in Jesus Christ alone." Representative Max Miller, a Republican from Ohio whose wife, Emily Moreno Miller, serves as a board member of Ohio Right to Life, then called on Marbach to "delete" the tweet.

"This is one of the most bigoted tweets I have ever seen," Miller said on social media. "Delete it, Lizzie. Religious freedom in the United States applies to every religion. You have gone too far."

Miller, who is Jewish, said in another post that "God says that Jewish people are the chosen ones, but yet you say we have no hope" and thanked Marbach for her "pearl of wisdom today." Ohio State Representative Casey Weinstein, a Democrat who also identifies as Jewish, backed Miller in a now-removed post which likewise called on Marbach to "delete" her comments.

Marbach refused to delete the post from social media, noting in a response to Miller that Jesus said he is "the way, the truth, and the life" without whom one cannot come to the Father. "No one has hope outside of Jesus Christ and every knee will bow one day," she added.

[…] Miller later publicly apologized for his rebuke. Marbach accepted the apology and repeated that "it is not me from whom you need forgiveness, but God himself," adding that she would "genuinely pray you seek him and find salvation." Emily Miller meanwhile acknowledged that her husband was "wrong to ask someone to stand down from her religious views" while asserting that the couple had been asked to "back down from our Jewish faith."

Internal communications at Ohio Right to Life reviewed by The Sentinel showed that Marbach was offered the opportunity to resign from the entity or receive a transition period before her official dismissal, both of which she declined.

The dismissal came days after Marbach and another senior Ohio Right to Life employee disagreed about a separate post from Marbach, in which she called a pro-abortion activist a "murderous liar" in reference to a proposed state constitutional amendment that would expand the legality of abortion in Ohio. The employee was concerned about the tone of the post.

The Rooster, a progressive political newsletter in Ohio, meanwhile hinted in a Tuesday article about the exchanges between Miller and Marbach that her career "was in jeopardy earlier today," an allusion to the internal disagreement over the earlier "murderous liar" post. The senior Ohio Right to Life official confirmed in a text message to Marbach that "someone shared confidential information I shared with the board discussing our agency" with the leftist outlet.

If Miller actually worked together with his wife to get Marbach fired for refusing to renounce her faith in Jesus Christ he should not only be ousted from office but sued and prosecuted for religious discrimination. Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost needs to launch an immediate investigation.

A former Independent on Sunday and New Statesman editor has been sentenced for making indecent images of children.

Peter Wilby, 78, was arrested by the National Crime Agency (NCA) at his home in Essex in October.

Wilby admitted to officers he had a sexual interest in children and had been viewing indecent images since the 90s, while employed by national titles.

He was given a 10-month jail sentence, suspended for two years at Chelmsford Crown Court.

Investigators found 167 indecent images of children, 137 of which were Category A images, the most serious.

'Betrayed trust'

He admitted three charges of making indecent images of children.

Adam Sprague, operations manager at the NCA, said: "The material accessed by Wilby and recovered from his computer showed real children being cruelly and sexually abused.

"He was viewing this content while working as the editor of prominent national news outlets, a role in which he was entrusted to form the news agenda for the British public. A trust which he has greatly betrayed."

Wilby was also given a rehabilitation requirement of 40 hours is subject to a 10-year sexual harm prevention order and was placed on the sex offenders register for five years.

Introduction

Recent events such as the armed rebellion led by the Wagner Group’s chief Yevgeny Prigozhin against Russia’s military leadership and Moscow’s withdrawal from the Black Sea grain deal triggered speculations over a potential inflection point in Russia’s growing footprint in Africa. Yet other signs, such as Prigozhin shaking hands with officials from the Central African Republic (CAR) in Saint Petersburg while the 2023 Russia-Africa summit was unfolding, or Russian flags being flown during the Niger coup this July, suggest that Russia’s influence in Africa is here to stay. In fact, the Kremlin’s playbook on the continent will most likely be recalibrated rather than overturned.

The current volatile situation calls for a coolheaded look at the fundamentals of Russia’s existing footprint and its forays across the continent, to better assess how they might evolve and how to address them. Russia’s breakthroughs in Africa are owed in part to a rekindling of Soviet-era relations. Yet the Kremlin’s remarkable advances on the continent throughout the last decade also result from twin contemporary efforts: adept diplomatic reengagement with key regional players and opportunistic predation in areas where Western powers are either absent or in trouble.

While the U.S.-led effort to form a global coalition aimed at isolating Russia internationally has indeed strengthened the transatlantic alliance, it has not yet fully convinced the rest of the world, including countries on the African continent, to break ties with Moscow. In fact, many across Africa regard the war in Ukraine as primarily a Western problem and are preoccupied with protecting their own national interests. Even with the war and sanctions straining Russia’s economy and defense sector, the Kremlin retains sufficient ties with the continent to challenge Western narratives.

This paper examines Russia’s creeping influence over Africa, assessing Moscow’s historic legacy as well as the current diplomatic, economic, and military-security links that contribute to the region’s continued willingness to engage with Russia. In doing so, particular attention is paid to the Russian private military company (PMC) Wagner Group, which has been playing an important role in forging ties between the Kremlin and different African nations, despite the uncertainty following Prigozhin’s rebellion in June 2023. It then offers analysis and recommendations to Western policymakers, outlining new approaches the transatlantic community should adopt to counter a rising Russia in Africa.

Deep State Take Down: Maui

United States Marine reinforcements in Maui have dismantled a Deep State blockade and forced FEMA and National Guard insurgents into a disorganized retreat that saw the murderous felons fleeing for their lives.

As reported previously, the Marines who arrived in Maui Wednesday afternoon were quickly outnumbered and outgunned by a Deep State army comprised of FEMA, local law enforcement, and the Hawaii National Guard. Overnight, Marines engaged the enemy in several blistering firefights but often found themselves defensive against insurmountable odds. Early battle damage assessments and casualty reports put the number of killed or wounded enemies at approximately 160; two Marines died from gunfire, and five suffered debilitating injuries severe enough to pull them from battle.

Reinforcements—sources would not specify numbers—showed up in hell-scorched Maui Thursday morning, as FEMA and The Red Cross were preventing civilian relief boats, including a yacht manned by the Cajun Navy, from offloading food and water to desperate victims. FEMA fired at fiberglass hulls, forcing ships away from the Lahaina Beach shoreline. The smaller craft took on water, with crews manning bilge pumps to keep vessels afloat. A few frantic citizens risked getting shot swimming from shore to the relief flotilla.

As Marine forces advanced on the beach and Trilogy Excursion docks near Front Street—the site of a second FEMA blockade—Marine snipers on rooftops overwatched the battlefield. This time the Marines had a numerical and tactical advantage.

Marine platoons near the beachhead took cover amid the scorched remains of incinerated homes that once dotted the pristine shores. They observed FEMA’s disorganized movements. Meanwhile, snipers had climbed to the roof of the Lahaina Shores Beach Resort, which the suspicious fires somehow spared.

FEMA’s erratic gunfire was dangerously close to a party boat 20 yards offshore, its deck laden with MREs and potable water cases.

A Marine lieutenant shouted into a bullhorn for FEMA to drop their weapons and lie prone on the ground. When a grey-haired man in a FEMA windbreaker, ostensibly the agent-in-charge, ignored the command and instead raised his rifle, the lieutenant gave the order to open fire.

FEMA toppled over like bowling pins.

Agents fleeing the scene were hit by sniper fire.

Farther north, FEMA at the docks caught wind of the Marine incursion and began fleeing the battleground in SUVs, heading north along Route 30 toward Punalau Beach, the island’s northernmost point. They had no way of knowing that the Marines had predicted the escape route and formed an impenetrable roadblock midpoint between Lahaina and Punalau beach, where 250 gung-ho Marines enthusiastically awaited FEMA’s arrival. Behind the FEMA convoy, 50 more Marines were in hot pursuit, effectively putting FEMA in an inescapable kill box.

The Marines had no mercy for government predators.

The first vehicle to approach the roadblock was struck by grenades fired from an M32A1 grenade launcher. It erupted in a fireball—ironic justice for federal fiends who used flamethrowers on civilians to make it appear like they died in the fires. Additional grenades and a phalanx of rifle fire destroyed the remaining SUVs. No FEMA survived that engagement.

With FEMA’s forces weakened and scattered, the flotilla delivered food and medical supplies to the hungry and the wounded, with Marines aiding the distribution and remaining on location to deal with any FEMA stragglers.

As an aside, United States Special Forces raided Hawaii Governor Josh Green’s Honolulu mansion, which was dark and deserted. They reportedly found architectural plans for terraforming Maui into a “Smart City,” a technologically modern urban area that uses electronic methods and sensors to collect specific data.

“The war in Maui isn’t over. Feds may be in a chaotic mess right now, but there are still plenty of them there. The National Guard helping them is very disturbing,” our source said.

He added that “some” National Guard were FBI agents in military dress.

“Same thing happened at the Christmas attack on GITMO—feds wearing military insignia,” he said.

These days, it seems like everyone on Reddit wants to know: Am I ugly?

“Am I Ugly?”, a decade-plus-old forum where users solicit feedback on their physical appearances, has seen a huge increase in activity in the last few months. Comments, posts and votes were up 1,986% in July compared to the same month last year, according to Reddit. The replies range from brutally honest to surprisingly sweet.

“I thought I’d get my feelings hurt a lot more,” said Bianca Wolmarans, a 23-year-old Ohio resident who shared eight close-up photos of her freckled face, blue eyes, auburn hair and nose piercings this summer. Overnight, thousands of comments and upvotes rolled in. Users told her she wasn’t conventionally attractive—she was uniquely beautiful.

Though the forum was created in 2010, the same year as Instagram and one year before Snapchat, it’s seeing more activity than ever. There are a few potential factors at play. In May, Reddit introduced features that make it easier for users to share posts across platforms such as Instagram. That added reach may be driving people to Reddit itself.

A moderator for the forum said membership numbers have climbed in recent weeks but couldn’t pinpoint why. Other Reddit forums devoted to appearance-based feedback have surged in recent months. Views on posts in “True Rate Me,” which outlines ranking guides that range from “ultra unattractive” to “ultra-attractive” along with visual examples, were up 1,140%, compared to Am I Ugly’s 1,046% growth in the past six months. For the same time period, views on posts on the “Rate Me” forum are up 46%, and in “First Impressions,” post views are up 65%, according to Reddit.

Users ranging from teenagers to middle-aged are uploading unedited photos and makeupless selfies to Am I Ugly to get frank assessments of their looks. As with any online community, there are downsides. Some users have faced a barrage of cruel comments or received unwanted direct messages.
