Hunter Biden Held Previously Undisclosed Meeting With The "F**king Spy Chief Of China"

 

First brother Jim Biden told Congress last week that Hunter Biden held a previously undisclosed meeting with Patrick Ho, an executive with Chinese energy conglomerate CEFC China Energy - which, weeks earlier, paid Hunter and Jim Biden $5 million as part of a joint venture to find investments for the Chinese firm, the Washington Free Beacon reports.

 

Hunter had previously referred to Ho as "the fucking spy chief of China" in an audio recording dated May 11, 2018, which was broken by The National Pulse three years ago.

 

In a congressional deposition last month, Jim Biden said he accompanied Hunter Biden to Hong Kong in September 2017 to meet with Patrick Ho…

 

…The Biden family’s arrangement with CEFC China Energy has stoked national security concerns because of the Chinese firm’s links to Chinese military intelligence. Middlemen for CEFC China Energy approached Hunter Biden in 2015, when his father was vice president, about potential business deals.

 

According to Jim Biden, he and Hunter Biden had a "pleasant" lunch in Hong Kong with Ho, who also served as head of the China Energy Fund Committee, a think tank funded by CEFC China Energy. At the end of the meeting, Ho asked to meet alone with Hunter Biden, according to Uncle Jim. -Washington Free Beacon

 

According to Jim Biden, "Ho said, ‘Can I borrow Hunter for, you know, a half-hour? We're going to go in the next room.’"

 

CEFC paid Hunter $1 million to represent Ho, however Hunter does not appear to have done any actual legal work on Ho's behalf. According to court records, the US government was surveilling Ho under a FISA warrant because they suspected that he was a possible agent of a foreign government.

 

Worming their way in

 

Jim Biden also described how CEFC entered the Biden orbit - telling congressional investigators that the father of one of Hunter's daughter's classmates contacted Biden about working with CEFC. The man, Scott Oh, gave Hunter a diamond ring after approaching Hunter in October 2015 to discuss "investment opportunities" involving CEFC.

 

Meanwhile, a former Hunter Biden business associate has revealed in a jailhouse confession that the first son sought roughly $5 million from fugitive Ukrainian oligarch Dmitri Firtash in order to try and quash a US indictment while his father Joe Biden was Vice President, Just the News reports.

I feel rather sorry for Gavin Newsom. I think your theory is plausible but I don't think it will turn out exactly like you think. However, were the Chinese to invade, the quislings who helped them will be first against the wall.

 

What I do think: Americans who are now treated like offal in their own country won't be so happy to continue under the authority of the corrupt federal system. Anyone standing with the constitutional republic will find themselves on the right side of history, imo. That might include some "invaders", too, imo.

Gangs Overrun Haiti's Two Largest Prisons, Freeing Nearly 4,000 Criminals As US Urges All Americans Exit

 

Haiti's problems just went from bad to worse, as the UN and embattled Haitian government of Ariel Henry (who is currently abroad as armed rebels seek his ouster) prepare a Kenyan peacekeeping force to intervene amid constant armed gang warfare which have taken over the streets of Port-au-Prince.

 

Despite for months not having had control of the capital city, authorities have ordered a nighttime curfew following gunmen overrunning the country's two biggest prisons.

 

"The police were ordered to use all legal means at their disposal to enforce the curfew and apprehend all offenders," Finance Minister Patrick Boivert said of a new 72-hour curfew.

 

Local reports say that at least 12 people were killed and some 3,700 inmates escaped in the jailbreak. The prisons were stormed over the weekend, include a major facility in the capital and another in nearby Croix des Bouquet.'

 

About 80% of Port-au-Prince is already said to be under the control of the gangs, and the prison assaults started with armed groups staging a distraction by attacking police stations. The attack on the police stations then immediately followed with a coordinated assault on the prisons.

 

Given thousands of criminals just flooded the streets, the already bleak and lawless situation which has in many cases forced civilian residents out of their homes in the hardest hit neighborhoods, things are about to spiral further.

 

Reporters have in the aftermath witnessed bodies with bullet holes strewn about the prisons. According to the BBC, "Haiti's police union had asked the military to help reinforce the capital's main prison, but the compound was stormed late on Saturday."

 

"On Sunday the doors of the prison were still open and there were no signs of officers, Reuters news agency reported," the report continued. "Three inmates who tried to flee lay dead in the courtyard, the report said."

 

A Haitian government statement said Sunday that those behind the attack were "heavily armed criminals wanting at all costs to free people in custody, particularly for kidnapping, murder and other serious offenses."

Merrick Garland is singling out, DISCRIMINATE AGAINST, black people as inferior and unable to do what everyone else can do.

 

Projects his own racism, claims to 'see' his own racism in election laws that are equal for everybody regardless of race, smears black people and singles black people out as unable to do what everyone of every other race can do.

The punchline, rooted in the observation that dietary issues such as gluten intolerance seemed to be predominantly a ‘white’ problem, had people not just laughing but thinking and sharing their experiences on social media.

Democrats Say They Won’t Certify Trump Victory in Congress.

 

Democrats who have spent the last three years labeling former President Donald Trump and other Republicans who questioned the 2020 presidential election results as “insurrectionists” now claim they’ll refuse to certify a potential Trump victory in November.

 

The Atlantic reports:

 

[Attorney Jason] Murray and other legal scholars say that, absent clear guidance from the Supreme Court, a Trump win could lead to a constitutional crisis in Congress. Democrats would have to choose between confirming a winner many of them believe is ineligible and defying the will of voters who elected him. Their choice could be decisive: As their victory in a House special election in New York last week demonstrated, Democrats have a serious chance of winning a majority in Congress in November, even if Trump recaptures the presidency on the same day. If that happens, they could have the votes to prevent him from taking office.In interviews, senior House Democrats would not commit to certifying a Trump win, saying they would do so only if the Supreme Court affirms his eligibility. But during oral arguments, liberal and conservative justices alike seemed inclined to dodge the question of his eligibility altogether and throw the decision to Congress.The apparent contingency plan comes amid sliding approval ratings for President Joe Biden and mounting indications Trump could win a second term in 2024.The crux of the plan is based on the recent Colorado Supreme Court ruling that the 14th Amendment’s insurrection clause bars Trump from the presidential ballot. If the U.S. Supreme Court does not clearly rule against the Colorado court’s decision, it leaves open the door for Congressional Democrats to attempt to block the certification of the 2024 presidential election on the grounds that Trump is ineligible under the insurrection clause.If Congressional Democrats won a House majority and were to refuse to certify the 2024 presidential election, it would set off a potential constitutional crisis. With the Electoral College winner thrown out, the Constitution indicates the election of the President would be thrown to the House of Representatives. Thus far, senior House Democrats have refused to say if they would certify a Trump victory in November. Some have said they would only do so if the Supreme Court explicitly affirmed his eligibility to serve.Democratic officials have prosecuted and incarcerated thousands connected to the Capitol riot on January 6th, 2021, while concurrently accusing Republican attempts to legally overturn what they consider potentially fraudulent 2020 results as another form of insurrection. Building on a successful playbook from 2022, AIPAC and other aligned groups are picking their targets — many more of them this time.

 

A California Democrat running for Rep. Katie Porter’s seat suddenly became the target of an unexpected barrage of negative ads from the nation’s premier pro-Israel group this year. So he emailed a former Michigan representative, Andy Levin, for advice.

 

Levin was ousted from his House seat in 2022, after the American Israel Public Affairs Committee spent $4 million against him. Levin was one of a handful of Democrats targeted by AIPAC last cycle, when the group went after a range of progressive candidates in mostly open House primaries over their criticism of Israel.

 

He told Dave Min, who has not called for a permanent cease-fire in Gaza but has privately criticized Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, to reach out to progressive Jewish groups for help. That’s what Levin had done.

 

But, he acknowledged, “we were simply swamped” by outside spending in his own primary, and Dave Min might face a similar fate.

 

“Most” candidates won’t be able to survive that spending barrage, Levin said in an interview with POLITICO, and “I’m afraid that they can be quite successful in wiping them out.”

 

This cycle, they are going even bigger. AIPAC is expected to spend $100 million across its political entities in 2024, taking aim at candidates they deem insufficiently supportive of Israel, according to three people with direct knowledge of the figure, who were granted anonymity to discuss private meetings.

 

The strategy has taken on new urgency this election season from donors animated by the Israel-Hamas war. AIPAC’s biggest targets are members of the so-called Squad of progressive House Democrats who have been openly pressuring the administration to call for a cease-fire. But AIPAC’s ambitions are broader. United Democracy Project, the group’s super PAC, is monitoring 15 to 20 House races and polling in many of those districts, according to a person directly familiar with UDP’s strategy and granted anonymity to discuss the approach.

We know that thousands of people across the United Kingdom have grave concerns about the UK giving up its sovereignty over public health matters to supranational bodies that are heavily controlled by nefarious actors. But many will be surprised that the Prime Minister, Andrew Mitchell and David Cameron have become so captured by WHO and Gates that they are ignoring the better interests of the United Kingdom and UK taxpayers.

 

In just two months a critical meeting of the World Health Assembly will take place. This meeting is supposed to finalise the terms of two politically oppressive and financially onerous agreements: the WHO Pandemic Treaty and the updated International Health Regulations.

 

In light of this, it might be useful to revisit information I published last year about Prime Minister Rishi Sunak’s rehabilitation of Andrew Mitchell (of “Plebgate” infamy) and former Prime Minister David Cameron who, together, instituted the British government partnership with Bill Gates’s Global Vaccine Alliance (GAVI) in 2011 – committing £billions of taxpayers’ money.

 

It should also be noted that it was only disclosed – in a petition debate about the International Health Regulations in December 2023 – that Mitchell was the chief Foreign Office negotiator for the two WHO agreements.

 

Moreover, it is now evident that although the government’s position was opaque and ambiguous at the debate in December it is not proposing to reveal any more details before the agreements are supposed to be concluded in May, by which point it will be very difficult for the UK and other nations to extricate themselves from them.

 

Days after Cameron’s appointment, the British government hosted the so-called Global Food Security Summit in which Sunak, Cameron, Mitchell and Tedros all toasted the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation while Mitchell also paid particular tribute to Tedros:

 

“I now have particular pleasure in calling Dr Tedros, the head of the WHO, a friend of many of us who does incredible work against an extraordinarily difficult background”

 

About all this, of course, there is an incredible lack of transparency.

DATA: England’s vaccinated population had close to one million deaths in 23 months; unvaccinated population had less than 61,000 deaths over the same period

 

Shocking data released by the U.K. government shows that over the past two years, the vaccinated population in England has suffered an outrageous number of deaths compared to the unvaccinated population, even though approximately 30 percent of the population has not even had a single dose of the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccine.

 

According to the U.K. Health Security Agency (UKHSA), by July 2022, 18.9 million people had refused the first dose of the COVID-19 injection, 21.5 million people had refused the second dose of the COVID-19 injection, alongside 2.6 million people who had received the first dose but refused the second, and 30.4 million people had refused the third dose of the COVID-19 injection, alongside 8.9 million people who had received the second dose but refused the third. According to the UKHSA’s figures, 63.4 million people were eligible for vaccination at that point. Therefore, as of July 2022, 30 percent of England’s population remained completely unvaccinated; 34 percent was not double vaccinated; and 50 percent was not triple vaccinated. However, the vaccinated population as a whole accounted for 95 percent of all COVID-19 deaths between January and May 2023, while the unvaccinated population accounted for just five percent.

 

But it’s the fact that these deaths aren’t among the one-dose and two-dose vaccinated population that is truly horrifying. The vast majority are among those vaccinated four times, with this population accounting for 80 percent of all COVID-19 deaths, and 83 percent of all COVID-19 deaths among the vaccinated.

 

The hard facts

The following figures published by the Office for National Statistics (ONS) in their “Deaths by Vaccination Status” dataset can be found on the ONS website:

 

Between July and September 2021, the highest number of unvaccinated all-cause deaths occurred among 70 to 79-year-olds in August with 676 deaths. Whereas, the highest number of vaccinated all-cause deaths occurred among 80 to 89-year-olds in September 2021 with a shocking 13,294 deaths.

 

Between October and December 2021, the highest number of unvaccinated all-cause deaths occurred among 80 to 89-year-olds in December with 776 deaths. In contrast, the highest number of vaccinated all-cause deaths occurred among 80 to 89-year-olds in December 2021 with a shocking 16,171 deaths.

 

Between January and March 2022, the highest number of unvaccinated all-cause deaths occurred among 70 to 79-year-olds in January with 776 deaths. In comparison, the highest number of vaccinated all-cause deaths occurred among 80 to 89-year-olds in January 2022 with a shocking 15,948 deaths.

 

Between April and June 2022, the highest number of unvaccinated all-cause deaths occurred among 80 to 89-year-olds in April with 500 deaths. At the same time, the highest number of vaccinated all-cause deaths occurred among 80 to 89-year-olds in April 2022 with a shocking 14,902 deaths.

 

Between July and September 2022, the highest number of unvaccinated all-cause deaths occurred among 80 to 89-year-olds in July with 493 deaths. In comparison, the highest number of vaccinated all-cause deaths occurred among 80 to 89-year-olds in July 2022 with a shocking 14,286 deaths.

Israeli Minister Gantz Arrives in US on Trip Not Approved By Netanyahu

 

Israeli War Cabinet Minister Benny Gantz arrived in the US on Sunday on a trip that was not approved by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

 

According to Israeli media, Netanyahu wasn’t aware of the trip until Gantz informed the prime minister of his plans on Friday in a tense phone call. A source told the Israeli news site Ynet that Netanyahu “made it clear to Minister Gantz that the State of Israel only has one prime minister.”

 

Gantz, the leader of Israel’s National Unity party, is scheduled to meet with Vice President Kamala Harris on Monday. In a speech on Sunday, Harris called for an “immediate ceasefire” in Gaza but quickly clarified that she meant a six-week truce, which is on the table as part of a potential hostage deal.

 

White House officials told The New York Times that Gantz and Harris are expected to discuss hostage negotiations and the potential for a temporary ceasefire. Israel boycotted the latest hostage deal talks that were held in Cairo on Sunday.

 

Gantz is also set to hold talks with Secretary of State Antony Blinken, National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan, and Brett McGurk, President Biden’s top Middle East official on the National Security Council.

 

Gantz is portrayed as Netanyahu’s moderate opposition, but Gantz supports the Israeli slaughter of Palestinians in Gaza. He recently threatened that Israel will invade the southern Gaza city of Rafah, which is packed with 1.5 million Palestinians, if Hamas doesn’t release Israeli hostages by Ramadan, which begins on March 10

Ruling on Deters-Massie lawsuit expected March 15

A Lewis circuit court judge is expected to rule March 15 on a motion tied to U.S. congressman Thomas Massie’s qualification for reelection amid a legal challenge from primary opponent Eric Deters.

 

Lewis and Greenup Circuit Judge Brian McCloud said in court Friday he plans to rule March 15 on Massie’s motion that the court find Massie “a bona fide candidate” for reelection to the 4th U.S. House District, Massie attorney Chris Wiest told LINK nky. Other motions are also pending.

 

Deters — a former Northern Kentucky attorney representing himself in the case — filed a lawsuit challenging Massie’s qualification for reelection back on Feb. 22.

 

Wiest told LINK he does not expect a March 15 ruling on another Massie motion asking that Deters be sanctioned in response to the lawsuit, although a ruling on that could come at a later date. That motion requests Deters be prohibited from filing any future pro se (meaning “for himself”) state court actions without having the actions first screened by a judge.

 

Deters, a 2023 Kentucky gubernatorial candidate who is running against Massie for Congress, says in the Feb. 22 suit that Massie is not qualified to run this year based largely on residency questions surrounding current state House District 66 candidate TJ Roberts – one of two witnesses to Massie’s Dec. 18 candidate filing in Frankfort.

 

Deters’ lawsuit claims that Roberts – whose home on East Bend Road in Burlington was destroyed by fire early last year, but has since been rebuilt – was not living at that address last year when he listed it as his permanent address as a witness to Massie’s filing on Dec. 18. State law requires election filings be witnessed by two persons, both living in the same district as a candidate and registered with the same political party as the candidate.

 

Deters claims Roberts’ residency in the district was uncertain when Roberts witnessed Massie’s filing on Dec. 18. His lawsuit asks the court to throw out Massie’s candidacy based largely on that claim.

 

Deters himself filed to run against Massie in this year’s congressional primary Jan.5.

 

Massie response, Roberts’ affidavit

 

Massie responded to Deters in a Feb. 26 motion, asking the court to rule in his favor based in part on a Feb. 26 affidavit from Roberts.

 

In the affidavit, Roberts gave sworn testimony that the East Bend Road address is his permanent address.

 

“Mr. Roberts testifies that he is a legal permanent resident,” the motion reads. “He has been a registered Republican in Kentucky’s Fourth Congressional District (and Kentucky House District 66) since 2017.”

 

According to the motion, Roberts stayed with his mother temporarily at her home in Walton after the fire through mid June 2023. From that point to Jan. 10, 2024, Roberts testified that he stayed temporarily at a residence on Torrid Street in Burlington (also in the 4th District and 66th House District) until moving to a rebuilt home at the permanent East Bend Road address on Jan. 11, 2024.

 

Allstate insurance company paid for temporary living arrangements on Torrid Street during reconstruction of Roberts’ home, the motion reads….

While living temporarily elsewhere in the district, the motion clarifies however that Roberts returned to the East Bend Road address “every single day in November, December, 2023 and January, 2024 to check mail, to feed the animals (on the property), to check on construction progress, and to ensure that heat was provided to the residence during cold weather.”

 

The motion goes on to say Roberts was advised by the Kentucky Secretary of State’s office to list his permanent legal address “and not any temporary address” on both his witness signature for Massie and on Roberts’ own candidate filing dated Jan. 5.

 

“Roberts followed the Office of the Secretary of State’s advice in completing both forms,” the motion reads. “Thus Roberts’ legal residence throughout 2023 and 2024 was (East Bend Road) Burlington.”

 

Motion for sanctions on hold

 

A ruling from Judge McCloud on Massie’s motion to prohibit Deters from filing future pro se court action without judicial screening is not expected March 15, said Wiest. He said a ruling on that motion could come at a later date.

 

On Feb. 26, Massie filed the motion, saying Deters’ Feb. 22 lawsuit meets legal standards for sanctions under existing case law and civil law. Among the case law cited is Large v. Oberson(Ky. 2017) which determined that “sanctions are appropriate when litigants pursue baseless claims,” the motion reads.

 

According to the motion, Deters has “a history of filing frivolous and self-serving actions” and “his prior history of vexatiously challenging another opponents’ residence.” It goes on to say that the lawsuit was filed for “improper purposes, namely to harass, cause needless delay, generate free press coverage, and increase the costs of litigation.”

 

Also cited in the motion is Deters’ 2023 lawsuit challenging the residency of last year’s gubernatorial rival Kelly Craft. It says the challenge was made “not to adjudicate an issue but instead to garner press coverage.” That case was dismissed by Fayette Circuit Court Judge Lucy A. VanMeter last May.

 

On Friday Deters filed a motion to strike Massie’s move for sanctions. He provided a statement to LINK Friday evening, published in part below:

 

“My only comment is that I will be filing my response to their motion and I believe Thomas Massie out of 435 Congressional Members is going to regret being more careful choosing is (sic) witness to his nominating position. He messed it up.”

The Return of the Clintons

Late last June, when Bill Clinton welcomed Larry Hogan to Little Rock, the ex-president realized he had an opportunity to step carefully back into the political fray. The pair was scheduled for a ticketed chat about bipartisanship on Clinton’s home turf just as Hogan, the former Maryland governor, was rumored to be thinking about a third-party presidential run via the No Labels group, which he was also co-chairing. Before they walked onstage, Clinton delicately made his view clear to the Republican, even though Hogan hadn’t asked: Any independent campaign of the kind No Labels was talking about could only benefit Donald Trump.

 

He wasn’t done yet. Two months later, Clinton heard from Joe Manchin, who was vacationing near the Clintons’ spot in East Hampton and wanted advice about his political future. Clinton had heard real concern from fellow Democrats that the West Virginian would head a No Labels ticket himself, and he’d previously discussed the politically tricky senator with the Biden White House when administration officials asked for his help winning Manchin over on legislation. Manchin was being far more open about the attractiveness of an independent run than Hogan was. So when they met in person, Clinton decided to get considerably more forceful than their placid surroundings might have suggested. This time, he ditched the diplomatic niceties and told the senator sharply that he was risking putting Trump back in the White House.

 

By late November, Bill found himself closer to the center of presidential politics than he’d been since Hillary ran in 2016. He and Joe Biden hadn’t talked in person in a few months, but he had been making no secret to friends that he thought Biden wasn’t getting the credit he deserved for his accomplishments. Tucked into a quiet corner of Air Force One on the way to Georgia for Rosalynn Carter’s memorial service, the 42nd president repeated the sentiment to the 46th, chewing over the unique challenges of the presidency as almost no one else could. Flying south from Washington, they discussed Biden’s obstacles in a political environment warped by Trump — how hard it had gotten to focus public attention on what Biden was doing and how complicated it had become to turn around the national feeling about the economy.

 

Hillary wasn’t part of that conversation, but she was on the plane, too — along with Michelle Obama and Jill Biden — and she had plenty of her own thoughts as Biden entered 2024 running behind her old foe in the polls. In recent months, the former secretary of state has begun convening groups of friends and political allies for private dinners to talk through the coming election season and to drum up badly needed support for Democratic candidates, starting with the president. The sessions are occasionally at the Clintons’ primary home in Chappaqua, but more often at their house in Washington, not far from the residence of Vice-President Kamala Harris, with whom she has quietly been keeping in touch.

 

Four years ago, the Clintons were as far from political influence as they’d been in ages. In a post–Me Too world, Bill was often treated aspersona non grata in public and Hillary was still thought of primarily as the person who lost to Trump. But a few weeks ago, they drew a flurry of media attention with the announcement that Biden would host a major fundraiser in the city with Bill and Barack Obama in late March. (As the inescapable flood of Trump fundraising emails put it: “Obama is back! Bill Clinton is back too.”) The event is just the most public part of what’s been a longer-running behind-the-scenes effort. Neither Clinton considers politics their primary work these days — they’re staying busy with travel, writing projects, and foundation work — but according to a dozen people who’ve spoken with them directly in recent weeks, both have been quietly and steadily increasing their engagement with Washington as the election season heats up.

 

It’s been eight years since a Clinton was on a ballot, the longest period since Bill’s first failed congressional campaign in 1974, and the 2020 race was arguably the first one in decades in which neither of them was particularly powerful. Now they, and the Democratic Party, are trying to work out what, exactly, their most useful role could now be. No longer a distinct power center or the same draw for donors or audiences as the Obamas, they are nonetheless far from retirees. Instead, they are a unique but amorphous source of advice and influence given their extensive experience and large networks….

UN report: 'Clear evidence of sexual violence and rape' during Hamas' October 7 attack against Israel

 

The United Nations secretary general's special representative on sexual violence in conflict, Pramila Patten, issued a report on Monday summarizing findings from a visit that she and her team made to Israel and the West Bank.

 

Among the findings was confirmation that sexual violence was committed in the course of Hamas' attack on a string of Israeli border communities on October 7, as well as evidence that it was continuing to be committed against female and male hostages abducted into Gaza that day. The report added that it was impossible to determine the prevalence of sexual crimes committed on or after October 7.

 

A press release issued with the report stated that "based on the information it gathered, the mission team found clear and convincing information that sexual violence, including rape, sexualized torture, cruel, inhuman and degrading treatment has been committed against hostages and has reasonable grounds to believe that such violence may be ongoing against those still held in captivity."

 

The statement went on to say that "overall, the mission team is of the view that the true prevalence of sexual violence during the 7 October attacks and their aftermath, may take months or years to emerge and may never be fully known."

 

The report includes criticism of the manner in which Israeli authorities have gathered evidence of sexual violence and called on Israel to permit the matter to be investigated by other United Nations entities such as the UN's high commissioner for human rights and the Independent International Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territory, neither of which Israel cooperates with.

Settlement in Wisconsin fake elector case offers new details on the strategy by Trump lawyers

Two attorneys for then-President Donald Trumporchestrated a plan for fake electors to file paperwork falsely saying the Republican won Wisconsin in a strategy to overturn Joe Biden’s 2020 victory there and in other swing states, according to a lawsuit settlement reached Monday that makes public months of texts and emails.

 

Under their agreements, Kenneth Chesebro and Jim Troupis turned over more than 1,400 pages of documents, emails and text messages, along with photos and video, offering a detailed account of the scheme’s origins in Wisconsin. The communications show how they, with coordination from Trump campaign officials, replicated the strategy in six other states including Georgia, where Chesebro has already pleaded guilty to charges stemming from the 2020 election.

 

The agreements settle a civil lawsuit brought by Democrats in 2022 against the two attorneys and 10 Republicans in Wisconsin who posed as fake electors. The Republicans settled in December.

 

“Our democracy demands better than this,” said Scott Thompson, one of the plaintiffs' attorneys who helped negotiate the agreements. “That is why this lawsuit … consistently sought transparency, accountability and deterrence. We can’t let this happen again.”

 

There is no admission of wrongdoing or liability in the agreements in which Chesebro and Troupis promise to never participate in similar efforts involving future presidential campaigns. Troupis must also pay an undisclosed amount to the plaintiffs.

 

Troupis said Monday in an emailed statement that the “alternate elector ballots" were “a reasonable course of action” given that the 2020 results were appealable to the U.S. Supreme Court.

 

“The settlement was made to avoid endless litigation, and nothing in today’s settlement constitutes an admission of fault, nor should it,” he added.

 

Phone and text messages left Monday for Chesebro weren’t immediately returned.

 

Electors are people appointed to represent voters in presidential elections. The winner of the popular vote in each state determines which party’s electors are sent to the Electoral College, which meets in December after the election to certify the outcome.

 

The documents show how Chesebro and Troupis, Trump’s attorney in Wisconsin, used arcane laws in rationalizing and drafting the false certificates for the fake electors. They also reveal how the two strategized ways to delay deadlines for certifying electoral votes and sway public opinion, including floating ideas on conservative talk radio.

 

In November 2020, as they were awaiting a decision from the then-conservative leaning Wisconsin Supreme Court on Trump’s effort to invalidate thousands of votes in the state, Chesebro suggested to Troupis that they contact conservative radio hosts in Milwaukee and Madison: “Mostly to maximize the chance that SCOW (Supreme Court of Wisconsin) justices hear about this quickly and prejudge the case?”

 

He ended with a winking emoji.

 

The fake elector efforts are central to an August federal indictment filed against Trump alleging he tried to overturn results of the 2020 election. Federal prosecutors, investigating his conduct related to the Jan. 6, 2021, U.S. Capitol riot, have also said the scheme originated in Wisconsin. Trump also faces charges in Georgia and has denied wrongdoing….

President Joe Biden is declining at a geometric, not an arithmetic, rate. His cognitive challenges are multifaceted.

 

His gait is shaky. His daily use of stairs now risks the chance of a tenure-ending fall. Even when he sticks to the teleprompter, he so slurs his speech, mispronounces words, and glides his syntax that at times he becomes as incomprehensible at the podium as he is unsteady in his step.

 

He now speaks a strange language foreign and untranslatable to most Americans. White House transcribers leave hiatuses in their written texts of his remarks to reflect that they either have no idea what he said, do not wish to publicize their guesses at what he said, or do not wish the public to know what he was trying to say.

 

Despite the circling-the-wagons media and the passive-aggressive sycophants like the opportunistic Gov. Gavin Newsom in waiting, the left understands that Biden will be lucky to get to the August convention. This spring and early summer, he will not campaign as a normal presidential candidate, and this time around, there is no pretense of the COVID epidemic to excuse his absence.

 

The people have already polled numerous times that their president is unfit to serve now and, in the future, should not run. So the 2020 Faustian bargain is in shambles. Remember its quid pro quos: all the major Democratic presidential candidates of 2020 nearly simultaneously pulled out the primaries to coronate Biden—but only on the condition that Biden would play to the hilt his “ol’ Joe Biden from Scranton” schtick that would offer a veneer to the otherwise unpopular hard left agenda of the new Bernie Sanders/Elizabeth Warren/the Obamas/Squad Democratic Party.

Bill Clinton helped convince two candidates to drop their fantasies of third-party presidential runs, which is part of the former president and his wife, Hillary Clinton, taking a more active and expansive role in the 2024 political field, according to a new report.

 

New York Magazine’s Gabriel Debenedettireported on Monday that the Clintons have been keeping a close eye on the 2024 presidential election, and this included Bill Clinton convincing both former Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan (R) and Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.V.) that third-party runs would only benefit Donald Trump and hurt President Joe Biden.

Late last June, when Bill Clinton welcomed Larry Hogan to Little Rock, the ex-president realized he had an opportunity to step carefully back into the political fray. The pair was scheduled for a ticketed chat about bipartisanship on Clinton’s home turf just as Hogan, the former Maryland governor, was rumored to be thinking about a third-party presidential run via the No Labels group, which he was also co-chairing. Before they walked onstage, Clinton delicately made his view clear to the Republican, even though Hogan hadn’t asked: Any independent campaign of the kind No Labels was talking about could only benefit Donald Trump.

 

According to the report, Clinton was more forceful in his approach with Manchin, who, up until recently, was consistently teasing a potential run, likely on the No Labels ticket. Clinton told Manchin flat-out that a presidential bid by him would land Trump back in the White House.

 

Hillary Clinton has also been taking a more active role in helping Democrats, which includes regular talks with Vice President Kamala Harris.

Moreover, it is increasingly clear that the entire Biden family consortium is compromised and corrupt. Neither Hunter Jim nor Frank Biden had any consulting skills, business expertise, or corporate experience to warrant leveraging over $25 million from foreign interests. Then there is the Kamala Harris issue—the Spiro Agnew insurance policy of our age that so far has protected Biden from overt efforts to replace him. She is as unpopular as Biden and often as incomprehensible, but without the excuse of age or mental diminishment. Of all the major Beltway elected officials, only Sen. Mitch McConnell polls worse.

 

By August, Democratic donors and politicos may well conclude that the only way to rid the party of both is to release Biden’s delegates, open up the convention, and let candidates fight over the now-free delegates. Harris then will not be nominated, but not through a backroom, Machiavellian removal of a black woman. Instead, she will “fairly” lose an “open” and “transparent” free-for-all of various Democratic want-to-be replacements and recede into a sober and judicious Mike Pence-like retirement.

 

The problem with this scenario, of course, is that late-season convention or post-convention machinations in the modern era don’t work out too well. In 1976, Ronald Reagan, after losing a series of early primaries and being declared nearly inert, suddenly caught fire and entered the August 1976 Republican convention in Kansas City within striking distance of incumbent Gerald Ford. President Ford, remember, had never been elected either president or vice president.

 

In the end, in one of the most acrimonious Republican conventions in memory, a wounded Ford won the nomination by only 117 delegate votes out of some 2,257 cast. In some sense, Ford never recovered and lost the election to Jimmy Carter, even as the tumult gave Reagan the exposure and his team the experience needed to win the nomination in 1980.

 

About two weeks after the 1972 Democratic convention, a desperate George McGovern and the Democratic hierarchy removed Vice President running mate Sen. Thomas Eagleton from the ticket due to revelations of little-known past electric shock treatments given to combat depression. After futile efforts, the Democrats settled on the Kennedy clan’s Sargent Shriver, who had never run for office. McGovern would have lost any way to an incumbent Nixon. But the margin of defeat in one of the greatest landslides in presidential history was often attributable to the sheer chaos of changing a vice presidential candidate so late in the campaign.

 

In sum, the Democrats can

—and may have to—replace Joe Biden, and they can ensure that Kamala Harris is not the nominee, but the means of doing so will be chaotic and messy and will wound the winner for the rest of the campaign.

 

Trump’s Circuitous Path to Victory

 

Donald Trump challenges have now been discussed ad nauseam, and they are threefold: he must either beat or postpone campaign-season court trials—and find perhaps $800 million to $1 billion to post bonds, pay interests on them, and meet gargantuan legal fees

—without turning off donors and supporters and by avoiding the diversion of the Republican National Committee and various campaign funds to his defense.

 

As in the past, Trump will be vastly outspent, perhaps by 3-1 or 4-1. Molly Ball’s infamous Time 2022 essay outlined the left-wing scheming that ensured a mail-in/early balloting election by aggregating the deep state, the corporate boardroom, the social media monopolies, and the 2020 riotous street thugs of Antifa and BLM. What she called a “cabal” and “conspiracy” was designed not so much as a one-off to defeat Trump as to create a permanent system by which a Trump-like candidate could never win a presidential election, both in 2020 and afterward.

 

Given changes in the 2020 state voting laws that saw 60-70 percent of the ballots in many swing states not cast on Election Day, while the rejection rate of faulty ballots counter-intuitively plunged despite such an influx, Trump will have to win by 3–4 points. Otherwise, in the swing states, we will again stare at the late-evening televised wizardry in which his huge leads mysteriously melt on the screen as drop boxes and mail sacks are tallied.

To achieve a 51-plus majority in the popular vote

—no Republican has achieved such a national ballot margin in 36 years since George H.W. Bush beat Mike Dukakis in 1988

—Trump will have to win, or win back, more Independents, apostate Democrats, and RINO Never-Trumpers.

 

He can do that in only two ways:

 

One, he must hammer away at Joe Biden’s disastrous record on the border, energy, race, foreign affairs, the economy, and social issues that scare moderates and fence-sitters, especially when comparisons are made to the achievements of 2017-2020. Inner-city residents are being tag-teamed by both the influx of thousands of illegal aliens who have first claims on stretched social services and street criminals who loot, assault, and carjack mostly their law-abiding neighbors with impunity.

 

Two, Trump needs to model his remarks after his Iowa Primary victory speech or his recent Fox Townhall event with Fox’s Laura Ingram. Translated, that means there is no reason to reference Nikki Hayley’s deployed husband, to refer to her as a “birdbrain,” or to say much of anything other than she will lose, and in the process, she is needlessly hurting more than half of America by draining resources away from the only real chance to repeal the current socialist agenda.

 

Hayley is imploding without any need for a Trump push. Magnanimity, rather than salt in her self-inflicted wounds, is the better strategy to unite the party. Trump has cemented his base. He will increase his share of minority voters who have been hurt the worst by the Biden socialist agenda. But to ensure victory and a Republican Congress, he cannot give swing voters a reason not to vote for policies and initiatives that they overwhelmingly prefer over those of the now hard-left Democratic Party.

 

In sum, after Super Tuesday, when Hayley will either quit the race or become inert, Trump needs to call her, politely remind her of her promise to support the nominee, and welcome her back into the fold. If she is wise, she will likely agree to disagree, let bygones be bygones, and thus pledge to support the assured nominee, Trump.

 

Two of her three choices are in her interest:

1) She endorses him, and Trump wins, and she is vibrant in 2028;

2) she endorses him, and Trump loses, and she is still viable;

3) she opposes him, and Trump either wins—and she is persona non grata—or he loses, and she is blamed for splitting the party and his defeat. Breaking her public promise to support the nominee will bleed what support she retains, and would prove a suicidal blunder.

 

Trump has achieved the greatest political comeback since Richard Nixon arose from the ashes of defeat in California in 1962 to win the nomination and presidency in 1968. Trump’s Phoenix-like rebirth from January 2021 to the present was achieved by Biden’s failure, the natural empathy accruing from the weaponization of the law by partisan or corrupt prosecutors, and Trump’s greater success in giving independents fewer reasons to vote against him. If he can praise those he defeats, call for unity, and campaign in 50 states in non-Republican strongholds, then he can win—even despite the hatred of the left, the corruption of the media, the weaponization of the bureaucracy, and the eroding trust in the way we vote.

A Catholic Experience

 

So for the last like 5 years or so I had been going to a Latin Mass parish, and over time I noticed that there was a strong anti-Trump sentiment there. They hid it well and for a long time, but their take on everything is that the Church should rule everything and there is no room for anything else. I noticed that they enforced TITHING (give 10% of your income to the Church), and they actively went to great lengths to hide pedophile priests, which was weird because I went there thinking the latin mass parishes weren't going to be so lousy with that, but they are, or at least the specific denomination of latin mass society I was going to.

 

I write this while thinking about how the pope is going to have a terrible May. My hope is that they either clean out their parishes of evil (unlikely), or that they be exposed for what they are. I still trust the Bible, but I can't see any organized religion as anything other than a scam. It would be nice if it were different, but it isn't, and I can't blind myself to the Truth.

 

Anyone who adheres to the Truth and is a Catholic should be ready for whatever comes out and whatever you learn. It isn't easy, and most of the people you're around will side with evil over good. Prepare to learn a lot of unpleasant truths. Pray and understand that evil always dresses up as someone "nice," and try not to be shocked as I was.

 

A good rule of thumb is to be wary of anyone advocating for things that go against your own best interests, or against our countries best interests. Be wary of groupthink.

This also means states don't have COMPLETE control over their own elections. They run them, but should be limited in how much control they have.

 

So when the Federal Govt. or Supreme Court makes rulings that require Voter ID or limit mail-in voting, drop box stuffing, etc… states should be forced to follow these rules.

It's fun to make fun of this and it's easy to agree with this decision (it is the right one). It's important to remember, though, that the states have always had their way with determining how their own elections work. I can't remember a time this was ever questioned before PDJT. As we're seeing, elections have sort of been a mess all over the place. Every time these activists try to do some fuckery, it's working perfectly against the public psyche to get them behind "fixing" elections for federal office positions while they get owned in court.

Financial heavyweights including Bank of America and Goldman Sachs are among institutions which have overhauled inclusivity programs which exclusively focused on women and minorities to now accept people from all backgrounds.

 

The pattern follows others multinational companies, including Zoom and Tesla, which have also dampened their enthusiasm for diversity, equity and inclusion through measures including cutting DEI departments.

 

Some of the steps are in response to fierce public criticism of DEI schemes by political leaders and business heavyweights. But institutions also fear lawsuits which claim programs that exclusively benefit minorities are a form of reverse discrimination.

 

'We're past the peak,' Subha Barry, former head of diversity at Merrill Lynch, told Bloomberg, which analyzed Wall Street's retreat from DEI initiatives.

Meanwhile, executives at Bank of New York Mellon are reportedly looking at ditching workforce diversity targets after lawyers recommended they are scrapped. The firm is also said to be looking at whether to end bonuses linked to diversity progress.

 

The percentage of black senior executives at the country's top banks remains far below the population of black people in the United States.

 

At JPMorgan Chase, about five percent of senior leaders are black. At Goldman Sachs, the figure is 3.7 percent, while at Citigroup it is 8.7 percent. Black people make up around 14 percent of the country's population.

 

BNY Mellon, JPMorgan and Goldman Sachs told Bloomberg that they remain committed to inclusive workplaces with employees from diverse backgrounds.

New California bill would make illegal immigrants eligible for first time homebuyer loans

Joaquin Arambula, a Democratic assemblyman from California, introduced Assembly Bill 1840 earlier this year, which could create an alternative way for illegal immigrants to achieve homeownership.

 

The bill is set to expand eligibility criteria for a state loan program to expand these loans to include undocumented migrants who are first-time buyers.

 

Arambula’s update to the bill states, "an applicant under the program shall not be disqualified solely based on the applicant’s immigration status."

 

"It’s that ambiguity for undocumented individuals, despite the fact that they’ve qualified under existing criteria, such as having a qualified mortgage [that] underscores the pressing need for us to introduce legislation," Arambula told the LA Times.

 

The bill focuses on the California Dream for All Shared Appreciation Loans program, which launched spring of 2023 to give qualifying first-time home buyers a loan that covers up to 20% of a property’s purchase price that will not accumulate interest or have required monthly payments. Loanees are instead expected to pay back the original loan amount in addition to 20% of the increase in the home’s value when the property’s mortgage is refinanced or resold.

 

First introduced on January 16th, Bill 1840 was originally intended to "provide shared appreciation loans" to low and middle-income citizens. Under Arambula’s new proposal, the legislation would expand to allow the program to include illegal immigrants in the eligibility pool.

 

Arambula sent Fox News Digital a statement saying how the bill will address the uncertainty of the eligibility for undocumented individuals.

 

"The California Dream for All program already exists – it was established to assist low- and middle-income individuals to purchase homes. But the program hasn’t been clear about eligibility for undocumented individuals, and AB 1840 addresses that issue. Let me be clear: anyone who meets the program’s criteria can apply for this loan program. And, to qualify, you must secure a bank loan or mortgage," the statement said. "AB 1840 is about providing an opportunity for homeownership, which we know allows families to secure financial security and stability. The ability to do this strengthens local economies, and that benefits all people who call California home."

 

The LA Times reported the California loan program garnered 2,300 applicants in less than two weeks last year before the program’s applications were halted, and that "the program will replace its first-come, first-serve basis with a lottery."

Iran is defying US sanctions with surging exports of liquefied petroleum gas, the latest sign that American pressure is failing to dent the Islamic Republic’s energy sales as its role in funding regional militias comes under scrutiny.

 

Iran last year became the biggest Middle Eastern supplier of the fuel — which is used for heating, cooking and as a feedstock for chemical plants — with exports surging 28% to over 11 million tons, according to an analysis of ship tracking data and market intelligence by consultancy Facts Global Energy. The firm expects exports to continue climbing beyond 12 million tons this year.

 

The increase is driven by rising production from the massive South Pars gas field in the Persian Gulf as well as greater shipping capacity between Iran and China, where almost all of the fuel is sent, Iman Nasseri, FGE’s Managing Director for the Middle East, told Bloomberg by phone.

 

The US is trying to tighten enforcement of sanctions on Iran’s energy trade in order to choke its financial support for allied militias in the region, like the Houthis in Yemen and Hamas in Gaza. Yet tough action risks pushing up prices and hurting consumers, which poses a political problem in an election year.

 

Despite the US pressure, Iranian oil production has also swelled, rising to a five-year high of over 3 million barrels a day last year. Most of its crude exports also go to China.

OPEC+ extended its oil supply cutbacks to the middle of the year in a bid to avert a global surplus and shore up prices.

 

The curbs — which on paper total roughly 2 million barrels a day — will remain in place until the end of June, according to statements from members such as Saudi Arabia, which accounts for half of the pledged reduction. Russia promised to strengthen its role by focusing more on cuts to production than exports.

 

Traders and analysts had widely expected the extension, seeing it as necessary to offset a seasonal lull in world fuel consumption and soaring production from several of OPEC+’s rivals, most notably US shale drillers. An uncertain economic outlook in China is adding to the need for caution.

 

Ample supplies have anchored international oil prices near $80 a barrel this year, even as conflict in the Middle East disrupts regional shipping. While that offers some relief for consumers after years of rampant inflation, prices may be a little low for many in the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries and its partners. Play Video

 

Riyadh needs a crude above $90 a barrel as it spends billions on an economic transformation that spans futuristic cities and sports tournaments, according to Fitch Ratings. Its largest partner in the alliance, Russia, also seeks revenue to continue waging war on Ukraine.

 

These latest output curbs, which deepen reductions made last year, will be “returned gradually subject to market conditions” after the second quarter, the countries said on state-run media.

 

Russia — which has a unique exemption to split its curbs between production and exports of crude oil and refined products — will put greater emphasis on cuts to crude production during the coming quarter, Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said.

 

That promise may offer some satisfaction to Riyadh. Saudi Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman expressed disappointment last year that Moscow hadn’t agreed cut production, which more directly impacts global market balances than changes to exports.

 

In April, Russia’s cut will comprise 350,000 barrels a day of output and 121,000 barrels a day from exports. In May, it will be 400,000 barrels a day of production and 71,000 of exports, while in June the curbs will come from production only.

 

Still, Russia and others in the group haven’t so far delivered fully on their commitments.

 

Moscow only recently fully implemented the production cutbacks it promised to make almost a year ago. In January, the nation reduced its exports of crude oil as agreed by roughly 300,000 barrels a day, but promised curbs to shipments of refined fuels were less clear.

 

Iraq and Kazakhstan collectively pumped several hundred thousand barrels a day above their quotas in January, but promised to improve compliance and even compensate for any initial overproduction.

 

The group’s decision to extend its curbs for the second quarter may have been widely expected, but OPEC+ will likely face a tougher choice at its next scheduled meeting on June 1, when ministers will set policy for the second half of the year.

 

Forecasts from the International Energy Agency in Paris suggest that, with growth in global oil demand slowing and new supply from the Americas soaring, OPEC+ will need to persevere with its cuts all year.

 

“You don’t want to bring barrels back in too early,” Saad Rahim, chief economist of commodity trading giant Trafigura Group, told Bloomberg television last week.

 

It’s unclear whether all members would be willing to subscribe to that policy. While Saudi Arabia has often urged the need for caution, its neighbor the United Arab Emirates has been keen to make use of recent investments in new production capacity.

 

Some forecasters believe that won’t be a problem, as strengthening demand will allow the group to relax its curbs and add more barrels later in the year.

 

There has been “an improvement in overall market fundamentals,” said Paul Horsnell, head of commodities research at Standard Chartered Bank Plc. “OPEC could increase output” without flooding world inventories.
