A Georgia state judge has taken his own life inside his courtroom.

The body of Judge Stephen Yekel was discovered inside the Effingham County state court room on Tuesday morning.

Yekel, 74, had recently lost a bid for re-election and was found by a deputy on what would have been his last day on the bench, WSAV reports.

Officials said that he fatally shot himself, but an autopsy will be carried out by The Georgia Bureau of Investigation to determine the exact cause of death.

Effingham County Sheriff Jimmy McDuffie said Yekel was discovered around 10am, but it appeared he had shot himself late Monday night or early Tuesday.

Yekel was appointed to the state court in 2022. He had tried to resign from his position, but was prevented from doing so by Governor Brian Kemp.

McDuffie said he understood Yekel had sent a note to the Governor's office, but did not disclose its contents.

The courtroom has been closed and will resume normal business on January 2.

Ever Decreasing Circles - Why The Worldwide Banking Ponzi-Scheme Must Be Reset

Since central banks became a ‘thing’ back in the early 20th century, we have seen a massive decline in the national finances of most countries around the world. Of course, predating this was the formation of the Bank of England and its role in the financing of the British empire, but of more significance to our current situation is the rise of America, the formation of the Federal Reserve, the Bank of International Settlements (BIS) and the World Bank Group (post Bretton Woods Conference) and the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

One could argue that all of these institutions exist not for the benefit of the world or humanity but to deprive nation states of their income and ownership of their resources, transferring both into the hands of private corporations and their shareholders. So today we are at a point in time where most countries are hideously in debt, many with debts far exceeding the dangerous 100% level of debt to gross domestic product (GDP) ratio. While Japan has far exceeded this for decades (currently 260%+) and not totally collapsed, it has proven to be a massive drag on any country, with huge amounts of money being wasted on interest payments alone.

The USA is of course fast catching up with Japan, or at least appears to be trying to, in terms of increasing its debt ratio. By any metric such failures to address ever-increasing debt are destined to lead to an implosion eventually, with a contraction into ever decreasing circles. There is not enough income in the world to pay back all of the money that is owed, so more and more debt is issued to continue paying the ever-increasing interest on the ever-increasing debts.

This imbecilic mistake is the kind of financial mismanagement that 10-year-olds can comprehend, yet this is a worldwide phenomenon that only a few countries have avoided (Russia being a case in point with approx. 20% debt to GDP). However, this situation has been allowed to occur and persist for decades now. In personal finances the same situation has occurred for most people.

When I was in a child, in the 1970s, many people did not have a bank account, credit was limited to expensive white goods in some shops and a ‘slate’ with the local grocer, that had to be cleared or at least substantially reduced at the end of the month. The idea of accumulating debt of 3-10 times your annual household income was just not an option for most people. This changed with the arrival of ‘personal banking’ in the 1980s, eventually leading to the current situation, where most families live paycheck to paycheck because they have maxed-out their borrowing with banks and credit card companies – meaning that a massive portion of their incomes is wasted on debt payments and the interest accrued.

The CME isn't alone, several other eruptions over the last few days have also produced Earth-directed eruptions which are expected to trigger strong geomagnetic storm conditions on Dec. 31, according to Solar Astrophysicist Ryan French.

"The Sun has really stepped up over the past few days, with frequent solar flares including a strong X-class event!" French wrote in a post on X.

"A selection of these flares produced Earth-directed eruptions, expected to trigger a strong geomagnetic storm (bringing aurora) on the 31st!" French continued.

When CMEs strike Earth's magnetosphere, they bring electrically charged particles called ions that collide with Earth's magnetic field. These collisions can spark geomagnetic storms.

During these storms, ions collide with atmospheric gases, releasing energy that manifests as light.

This creates the stunning displays known as the northern lights, or aurora borealis, in the Northern Hemisphere, and the southern lights, or aurora australis, in the Southern Hemisphere.

NOAA classifies geomagnetic storms using a G-scale, which ranks their intensity from G1 (minor) to G5 (extreme). The recent geomagnetic storm watch NOAA issued is rated as a G3, indicating strong storm conditions.

Current predictions place the highest level of activity (G1 to G3 conditions) between 10 p.m. EST on Dec. 30 and 10 a.m. EST on Dec. 31 (0300 GMT and 1500 GMT on Dec. 31).

Another spate of activity is currently anticipated for between 4:00 p.m. EST (2100 GMT) on Dec. 31 and 10:00 p.m. EST (0300 GMT on Jan 1), with G1 conditions expected. Check out NOAA's 3-day forecast for the latest timings — note that timings are listed as UT.

Keep in mind that space weather, much like Earth's weather, is unpredictable and difficult to forecast. Even though geomagnetic storm warnings at this level are rare, they can occasionally amount to nothing.

Report: Elon Musk’s Tesla Replaced Laid Off Americans with Foreign Workers on H-1B Visas

In the wake of Elon Musk’s fiery defense of H-1B visas, it has come to light that Tesla has replaced U.S. employees laid off earlier this year with foreign workers holding the very H-1B visas that Musk lashed out at conservatives for not supporting.

The bill is pending before the Arkansas Senate. King also introduced Senate Bill 5, to hold Pharma executives criminally liable for “prescription drug harm.”

Previous versions of both bills unanimously passed last year in the Arkansas Senate but died in the Arkansas House.

Ray Flores, senior outside counsel for Children’s Health Defense (CHD), welcomed the proposed legislation. He told The Defender:

Two federal laws provide civil immunity to vaccine manufacturers.

The National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act of 1986 grants manufacturers broad protection from civil liability for injuries resulting from vaccines listed on the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s childhood immunization schedule.

Under the 1986 act, people injured by these vaccines can file a claim under the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program.

Vaccines like the COVID-19 shots, introduced as an “emergency countermeasure” to address a public health emergency, are covered under the Public Readiness and Emergency Preparedness Act (PREP Act).

Under the PREP Act, manufacturers and other “covered persons” — including doctors, nurses and pharmacists who administer the vaccines — are exempt from liability. Vaccine injury claims for this category of vaccines are filed with the federal Countermeasures Injury Compensation Program.

In an analysis for TrialSite News, attorney Steven O’Connor suggested the proposed Arkansas bill could bypass the federal civil liability shields for vaccine makers.

“While Pharma execs and their firms face sturdy protections against civil liability for vaccine issues, there is no comparable protection for criminal liability,” O’Connor wrote.

Funny you should ask, I’ve been investigating the fraud in the F-1 Student Visa system too.

It’s just as big of a rabbit hole as the H-1B stuff and the two are very interconnected. Buckle up because this one is something.

Here’s the game. Students from India fake their undergraduate degrees and just apply straight to Masters programs. The reasons for this relate to H-1B reqs and other things but also because colleges have gone full woke and stupidly don’t have any way to verify the undergraduate certificates. So they just accept them most of the time. Canada is much worse btw, they have actual diploma mills with like 80k Indian students.

Once the student has been accepted for their masters the fun part begins. They pay people with masters degrees in India to do the work for them and they have people within the masters programs themselves who are complicit (that whole nepotism thing again) to help them. This means they can skate through the masters program without getting caught. While they are “at school” they drive for uber/doordash for money.

Once they “graduate” and finish their masters they are now here illegally so it’s time to defraud the H-1B system. Enter the Indian H-1B consultants.

The grift is basically this. The employee is a “subcontractor” working for the consulting firm and being subcontracted out to one of their clients. The problem is they don’t have a Visa. So the consulting firm just fakes an H-1B Visa. Since it’s the consulting firm’s job to check, the company is none the wiser that they are actually using illegal labor.

Obviously the “contractor” has no idea what they are doing so this work is also outsourced back to someone in India that the H-1B consultant has set up.

The payment is made to the consulting firm and the worker is paid under the table. From what I’ve been told these are very predatory agreements so it usually means the worker has to still drive uber etc.

Once the first contract is finished. They now have real experience to put on their resume with a real reference and everything. So they begin the process of actually applying for their H-1B.

The consultant once again manages the whole process, commits a ton of fraud to get through the lottery system. Finds a company who needs a permanent IT hire. Company then sponsors the candidate and voila. They’ve committed like 10 instances of fraud but the person is now legit, has an H-1B and can work in the US.

Maybe we should rethink that whole “staple a green card to every diploma” idea.

Get ready for the 'New Year Comet': What to expect from Comet ATLAS (C/2024) G3

In the second week of 2025, we could see a new object grace the skies as comet ATLAS (C/2024) G3 gets close to the sun.

In the wake of comet C/2023 A3 (Tsuchinshan–ATLAS) in October, comet G3 is due to reach perihelion — its closest to the sun — on Jan. 13, 2025.

That day, this icy visitor to the inner solar system will get to within just 8.3 million miles (13.5 million kilometers) from the sun.

For context, Mercury orbits the sun from as close as 29 million miles (47 million kilometers). Jan. 13 will also see comet G3 closest to Earth, so at its brightest as seen from our planet.

Although comet C/2024 G3 could be the brightest comet of 2025, it's only likely to become a naked-eye object to observers in the Southern Hemisphere.

According to The Planetary Society, comet G3 could get as bright as magnitude -4.5, about the same brightness as Venus during January 2025. It will be in the constellation Sagittarius.

However, the comet's unusually close journey to the sun makes its survival questionable. In its favor is the fact that its orbital path suggests that it visited the inner solar system about 160,000 years ago, so it may have survived a close pass before.

"It will be strongly heated and may not survive," said Nick James, director of the British Astronomical Association's comet section. "But if it does, it may be an impressive object in the evening sky from the southern hemisphere after perihelion."

If it does get through its perihelion unscathed, comet G3 is likely to be about as bright as Venus in the west in the post-sunset sky after Jan. 13 from the Southern Hemisphere.

However, James also said that the comet's closeness to the sun means that observing it could be dangerous and that it "should only be attempted if you are an experienced observer."

There will also be some interference by moonlight around the time of comet G3's perihelion.

A bright moon will be in the eastern sky in the few evenings before January's full "Cold Moon," which on Jan. 13 will rise opposite the comet on the eastern horizon.

That may make observations a bit more difficult, though with the moon rising about 50 minutes later each night after the full moon phase, conditions will quickly improve for post-sunset viewing.

Discovered on Apr. 5, 2024, by the Asteroid Terrestrial-impact Last Alert System (ATLAS) system of telescopes, G3 comes from the Oort Cloud, a sphere of comets that encircles the entire solar system.
