Why wasn’t HRC prosecuted for the emails? Put simply, Obama ultimately OK’d by using the non govt email addy to communicate w/ Clinton. Obama also had an alias along with each of his cabinet members. Therefore indicting HRC would lead to indicting Obama & his cabinet etc which could never happen. Remember he lied about knowing but that ultimately came out in the dump. Poof!

The European Commission president failed to secure favorable trade terms for the EU, the Hungarian prime minister has said – Orban

 

US President Donald Trump dominated European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen during trade negotiations, resulting in a bad deal for the EU, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban has said.

 

The trade pact was finalized on Sunday following months of tense negotiations.

 

“This was no agreement… Donald Trump ate Ursula von der Leyen for breakfast,”Orban said on a podcast on Monday.“The European agreement is worse than the UK one. Setting it up for success will be difficult later on,” he argued.

Cost of renovating Trump’s ‘flying palace’ revealed

The luxury jet gifted to US President Donald Trump by Qatar is expected to cost $934 million or more to renovate, the New York Times reported on Sunday, citing Air Force sources. The outlet claimed the funds were quietly diverted from money earmarked for modernizing the US ground-launched nuclear missile system.

 

The Qatari royal family gifted Trump a $400 million Boeing 747-8, dubbed the “flying palace,” earlier this year. The jet has been transferred to the Pentagon to serve as Air Force One while new Boeing aircraft remain delayed. Defense SecretaryPete Hegseth and his Qatari counterpart signed an agreement for Qatar’s “unconditional donation” earlier this month. Renovations are expected to begin in the coming weeks.

 

While the official cost is classified, sources told the NYT the Pentagon hid the renovation funds within the Sentinel program – an overhaul of the aging Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) system with new launch facilities and communications. Air Force sources reportedly claimed the Pentagon quietly slipped a $934 million transfer for the Qatari jet’s renovation into a document linked to the program recently sent to Congress.

 

The handing over of the jet has sparked controversy and has been opposed by critics on ethics grounds. “The more we learn about this deal, the more disturbing it becomes,” Democratic Senator Jeanne Shaheen told the NYT. She warned of “significant security implications” in accepting a foreign aircraft as Air Force One and criticized diverting nuclear modernization funds for “a vanity project for President Trump.”

 

Air Force Secretary Troy Meink told Congress in June he expected the renovation to cost under $400 million.

 

But Air Force engineers told the NYT the estimate was unrealistic, citing extensive upgrades including communications, anti-missile systems, engine improvements, removal of suspected surveillance devices, and Trump’s added “luxuries.”

 

Trump defended the gift, telling reporters in May he “would never be one to turn down that kind of an offer,” adding, “I could be a stupid person and say, ‘No, we don’t want a free, very expensive airplane’.”

The US president claims he does not want to impose new sanctions on Moscow but still shortened the deadline for a Ukraine peace deal

 

US President Donald Trump has expressed his “love” for Russians and called them a “great people.” At the same time, he threatened Moscow with more sanctions and set a new deadline for settling the Ukraine conflict.

 

Trump maintained he had “always gotten along with [Russian] President [Vladimir] Putin” during a Q&A session with British Prime Minister Keir Starmerin Turnberry, Scotland on Monday.

 

He praised Russia as a “rich” nation that could be “thriving like practically no other country” and spoke about the massive trade potential between Russia and the US.

 

“I don’t want to do that to Russia, I love the Russian people,” he said whenasked about potential new sanctionsagainst Moscow.

 

He expressed his disappointment over the slow pace of the peace process between Moscow and Kiev and accused Russia of striking Ukrainian cities. Trump said he was “not interested in talking anymore” as his numerous “respectful and nice conversations” with Putin led to nothing.

 

Trump’s words came as he set a new deadline for a Ukraine peace deal, which he said should be reached in “10 or 12 days” from Monday. Otherwise, Washington would impose new sanctions on Moscow. The previous deadline was expected to expire in early September.

 

The new sanctions would include secondary restrictions and tariffs on countries and entities doing business with Russia.

Moscow has repeatedly stated throughout the conflict that it is open for dialogue and could start negotiations without any preconditions as long as the situation on the ground is taken into accountand the root causes of the conflict are addressed. Earlier this month, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that the Ukraine conflict was a “difficult” one to resolve and cannot be settled “instantly.”

 

Russia also warned that Trump’s new sanctions threats serve primarily “as signals to continue the war” for Kiev and called on Washington to exert pressure on Ukraine instead. Russia and Ukraine renewed direct talks in Istanbul in May and have since held three rounds of negotiations but have not reached an agreement on a ceasefire yet.

Project 2025 architect Paul Dans on Monday is launching a bid to primary Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham in South Carolina, joining an increasingly crowded field.

 

“What we’ve done with Project 2025 is really change the game in terms of closing the door on the progressive era,” Dans told the Associated Press. ”If you look at where the chokepoint is, it’s the United States Senate. That’s the headwaters of the swamp.”

 

Dans on Monday morning also reposted the Associated Press’ story announcing his South Carolina senate primary challenge, saying “Have some news this morning.”

 

Dans worked in the White House during President Donald Trump’s first term. His bid may present a unique challenge for Graham, who — though he has already secured Trump’s endorsement —has found himself at odds with the president on several occasions. In 2024, after Graham urged Trump to focus more on policy during his reelection campaign, Trump responded he doesn’t “care what he says.”

 

“Lindsey wouldn’t be elected if I didn’t endorse him,” Trump said.

 

One of the leading voices on Project 2025, Dans told the AP he expects to have the support of the project’s allies as well as some of Trump’s supporters.

 

Graham is seeking his fifth term as Republicans attempt to hold onto their 53-47 majorityin the Senate during the 2026 midterms. Dans said it’s “time to show him the door.”

 

Chris LaCivita, senior adviser to Graham’s campaign, said in a statement Dans has “parachuted himself” into South Carolina after being “unceremoniously dumped in 2024 while trying to torpedo Donald Trump’s historic campaign.”

 

“Like everything Paul Dans starts, this too will end prematurely,” said LaCivita. (That’s pretty nasty, Dans was used as a scapegoat when the left started attacking Trump and people that did 2025)

 

Dans will officially announce his campaign at a Charleston event Wednesday.

 

Project 2025, the 900-page set of conservative policy proposals, dominated conversations during the 2024 presidential election. Though Trump insisted the plan — created by the conservative think tank The Heritage Foundation — was unrelated to his campaign, many of its architects, including Dans, have been involved with the Trump administration at some point or another.

Obama-Award Winning Criminal Illegal Alien Detained by ICE Following ‘Routine Court Appearance’

One of Barack Obama’s prized illegal aliens will likely be sent back to his place of birth after getting caught breaking the law again.

 

As Newsweek reported on Monday, 27-year-old Darwin Contreras, a man residing in Pennsylvania, was arrested on June 24 following a so-called routine court appearance. Contreras had been attending a proceeding related to the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition (ARD) program.

 

Contrera’s wife, Elizabeth DeJesus, claimed to Newsweek that the ICE agents were wearing “something you can get from Walmart” and refused to tell her where they were taking her husband.

 

She later learned he had been transported to Pike County Correctional Facility in Lords Valley.

 

Contreras was reportedly in the process of applying for his citizenship when he was detained.

 

Tricia McLaughlin, a spokesperson for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), explained to Newsweek that the reason ICE agents detained Contreras was because he was caught driving under the influence (DUI).

 

She also revealed he has multiple other convictions that should have resulted in his deportation long ago.

They discussed the death count from the COVID ‘vaccine’ of 17 million people worldwide and 480,000 to 600,000 people in the United States in the first year that the shots were introduced. Hulscher said that he believed that the deaths appeared to be intentional because the shots were not pulled off of the market, even after mass deaths and serious injuries.

Hulscher said that women who received COVID injections had 33% lower successful conception rate compared to women who rejected the COVID shot. As a result, population is expected to decline significantly in developed countries.

 

Mr. Hulscher said that although mRNA shots can have serious consequences, there are ways to significantly improve outcomes. He noted that vitamin D levels should be kept adequate, as it can decrease symptom severity and hospitalization. He said that Dr. McCullough published a paper on three enzymes that include bromelain, nattokinase and curcumin that shows they suppress inflammation and the spike protein. And a healthy diet and exercise are also important.

Education and workforce issues were high priorities for the two men who took the agency’s top jobs in 1984. In May, physicist Roland W. Schmitt, a two-year member of the Board and senior vice president for research and development at General Electric Company, was elected Board Chair. Following the sudden departure of Director Edward Knapp, President Reagan promoted Erich Bloch from Deputy Director-designate to the Director’s post. Bloch was a hard-driving IBM engineer who had managed the development and manufacture of the IBM System 360 computer technology. All of a sudden, the Foundation had acquired a pair of leaders from industry.

 

Bloch and Schmitt got along well and thought similarly about changes needed at NSF. Homer A. Neal, whose Board panel was devising the Foundation’s undergraduate initiatives at this time, describes Bloch’s results-oriented style this way: “Bloch would sit in our meetings. Sometimes he would pick up on something and carry it out before we had finished.” Part of Bloch’s agenda was to help more people in underrepresented groups—minorities, women, and persons with disabilities—join America’s scientific and technical workforce, including those doing advanced research. This meant increasing the numbers of these individuals who completed a K-12 mathematics/science curriculum.

 

Such an ambitious goal required enormous change for the Foundation, including the identification and recruitment of qualified professionals from these groupsto NSF staff positions and to advisory and merit review panels. Overseeing this effort for the Board from 1984 to 1986 was Simon Ramo, co-founder of aerospace giant TRW, Inc. Ramo agreed to head the Board’s Education and Human Resources (EHR) Committee because, he told Schmitt, “that’s the future.”Minutes of Ramo’s EHR Committee meetings show that managers from all parts of NSF were systematically called on to explain exactly what steps they were taking to satisfy the new diversity mandate.

 

Bloch argued that diversifying the technical workforce was particularly urgent in light of limited numbers of qualified Americans to fill available jobs. At the beginning of July, some Milwaukee officials mounted a public outcry after Kroger Co. announced the decision to close at least five Pick ‘n Save supermarket locations. The city was also notified by Walgreens that they will be closing at least seven locations over the next two years and CVS will be closing some locations as well. The neighborhoods losing the most retail access are neighborhoods with higher crime. In other words, if the residents stopped stealing, those stores might stay open. Leftists claim victimization, but businesses that lose money cannot continue to survive.

Thus it is said that the United States must import students, scientists, and engineers from abroad to fill universities and work in the private sector—though even this talent pool may dry up eventually as more foreign nationals find attractive opportunities elsewhere.

 

Yet alongside such arguments—sometimes in the very same publications in which they appear—one learns of layoffs of tens of thousands of scientists and engineers in the computer, telecommunications, and aerospace industries, of the deep frustration and even anger felt by newly minted PhDs unable to find stable employment in traditional science and engineering career paths, and of senior scientists and engineers who are advising undergraduates against pursuing careers in their own fields. Why the contradictory reports on professions routinely deemed critical to the success of the American economy? Is it possible that there really is no shortage in these fields?

 

The recent history of shortage forecasts begins in the mid-1980s, when the then leadership of the National Science Foundation (NSF) and a few top research universities began to predict "looming shortfalls" of scientists and engineers in the next two decades.

 

Their arguments were based upon quite simplistic demographic projections produced by a small policy office reporting to the NSF director—projections that earlier had been sharply criticized by the NSF's own science and engineering workforce experts.

 

Only a few years later, it became apparent that the trends actually pointed toward a growing surplus of scientists and engineers. In 1992, the House Committee on Science, Space and Technology's Subcommittee on Investigations and Oversight conducted a formal investigation and hearing about the shortfall projections, leading to much embarrassment at the NSF. In his opening remarks at the hearing, the subcommittee's chairman. Democrat

Howard Wolpe of Michigan, declared that the "credibility of the [National Science Foundation is seriously damaged when it is so careless about its own product." Sherwood Boehlert, the subcommittee's ranking Republican and now chair of the full House Science Committee, called the NSF director's shortfall predictions "the equivalent to shouting 'Fire' in a crowded theater." They were "based on very tenuous data and analysis. In short, a mistake was made," he said. "Let's figure out how to avoid similar mistakes, and then move on." Boehlert's advice was not heeded.

 

How many qualified students were denied admittance or financial help for "diversity" or giving preference to foreign students? We know the H1-B hiring is for cheap labor, not merit. But how many foreigners got higher education, were admitted to a PhD program, or received financial aid via the taxpayer in the name of diversity and a manufactured shortage of STEM students? Taking down America begins with denying our best and brightest over imports.

The 1986 Vaccine Act gave vaccine makers immunity against lawsuits by children who suffer vaccine injuries. The statute, and numerous subsequent court decisions, recognized that vaccines, like all medicines, are, in the words of the American Academy of Pediatrics case, “unavoidably unsafe,” and that a percentage of vaccinated children will suffer injuries or death. Congress, therefore, simultaneously created the Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (VICP), which obliged HHS to compensate injured children. In the words of then Labor and Public Welfare Committee Chairman Senator Edward Kennedy, “when … children are the victims of an appropriate and rational national policy, a compassionate [g]overnment will assist them in their hour of need.”

 

Under the VICP, vaccine victims can petition for compensation to the so-called “Vaccine Court,” which pays out awards from a trust fund endowed by a 75-cent surcharge on every vaccine. Congress intended that injured children be compensated “quickly and fairly” for injuries, “either presumed or proven to be causally connected to vaccines,” with doubts about causation resolved in favor of the victim.

 

To date, the Vaccine Court has paid out $5.4 billion to 12,000 petitioners. But the VICP no longer functions to achieve its Congressional intent. Instead, the VICP has devolved into a morass of inefficiency, favoritism, and outright corruption as government lawyers and the Special Masters who serve as Vaccine Court judges prioritize the solvency of the HHS Trust Fund, over their duty to compensate victims.

 

The structure itself hobbles claimants. The defendant is HHS, not the vaccine makers; and claimants are therefore facing the monumental power and bottomless pockets of the U.S. government represented by the Department of Justice. Furthermore, most of the Special Masters come from government, legal, or political posts, and typically display an extreme bias that favors the government side. There is no discovery, and the rules of evidence do not apply. The government lawyers do not allow children’s attorneys access to the Vaccine Safety Datalink, a taxpayer-funded CDC surveillance system that houses the best data on vaccine injuries. Attorney compensation is in the hands of notoriously biased Special Masters and often hostile government attorneys, who can leverage this power to turn petitioner attorneys against their clients' interests.

 

The VICP routinely dismisses meritorious cases outright or drags them out for years. Instead of “quickly and fairly” awarding compensation, Special Masters dismiss over half of the cases. Most of those that proceed typically take 5+ years to resolve, with many languishing for more than 10 years as parents struggle to care for children suffering with often extreme disabilities. Petitioners’ attorneys complain that the Special Masters make punitive downward adjustments to attorneys’ fees and medical expert fees to punish effective advocacy. Expert witnesses for injured children complain that they suffer intimidation and even threats that they will lose professional status or NIH funding if they testify for injured children. The government pays its own medical expert witnesses promptly while simultaneously slow-walking payments for petitioners’ experts—sometimes for years.

 

The VICP is broken, and I intend to fix it. I will not allow the VICP to continue to ignore its mandate and fail its mission of quickly and fairly compensating vaccine-injured individuals.

Together, we will steer the Vaccine Court back to its original Congressional intent.

Businesses flee states with higher minimum wage laws. A commentator said that minimum wage should not be confused with a living wage as people should aim for a higher level instead of forcing the bottom up. Government should not meddle in markets.

On May 23, 2025, the Los Angeles City Council approved an ordinance that will raise the minimum wage for hotel and airport workers to $30 an hour by July 2028.

Here we go again? US Secretary of State Marco Rubio declared Sunday that the Venezuelan government is "illegitimate" in a written statement on X.
