Social Security Data Chief Who Filed ‘Whistleblower’ Complaint Against DOGE Abruptly Resigns

Even if the Supreme Court sided with the federal circuit decision, a tenuous guessing game at best,there are other tools and techniques already in place for President Trump to retain the tariffs.

The question at the heart of this argumentis whether International Emergency Economic Powers Act, is the best justification for the tariff approach toward national security, where ‘economic security is defined as national security.’

Think about it. President Trump could instruct the USTR (Jamieson Greer) to dissolve all existing U.S. trade agreements within 90-days, due to the national debt emergency. A legally authorized zero-trade position.

Notice that no foreign nation is challenging these tariffs as applied. The legal challenges are all coming from inside the U.S.A, as multinational corporations fight to retain the status quo.==

The Seattle Police Department is gearing up for what it hopes will be a peaceful event Saturday at Gas Works Park.

Christian artist Sean Feucht, the founder of the Let Us Worship movement, is bringing his “Revive in ’25” tour to the city.

“The city of Seattle has invited us back to Gas Works Park!!! It’s time to bring the fire again to the city! This Saturday at 5 [p.m.] at Gas Works Park!” Feucht posted on Facebook.

Feucht tried to get a permit to perform at Gas Works in September 2020 during the COVID-19 lockdowns but was denied. He ended up moving the concert to a street near the park.

Saturday’s event was initially planned to take place in Cal Anderson Park, the heart of Seattle’s gay community, but was instead moved to Gas Works Park.

Feucht has pushed back on the transgender movement and LGBTQ agenda, which has inspired protests at nearly all of his events.

Feucht announced his planned concert in Seattle days after police and counterprotesters clashed at Cal Anderson Park over Memorial Day weekend, when there was a similar concert with local Christian pastors. Twenty-three people were arrested.

As reported by The Center Square, two days later, Christians gathered in front of Seattle City Hall for a concert to protest what they called anti-faith policies of Seattle Mayor Bruce Harrell and the Seattle City Council.

Two counterprotesters were taken into custody after confronting an independent conservative journalist who was filming their activity. Several other protesters, some wearing gas masks, were also arrested in separate incidents.

Charlette LeFevre, founder of the Capitol Hill Pride Festival, called it “irresponsible and offensive” that Seattle Mayor Bruce Harrell and Seattle have permitted Feucht’s concert.

“It's somewhat laughable because it's still within the city of Seattle,” LeFevre said in a Thursday interview with The Center Square. “It’s ridiculous and shocking to think we'll just shift you to another public park because it's still within the city of Seattle. Let's face it … the LGBTQ community is all over. Not only the city, but this nation, and to sit there and say it makes it OK now to put it in another city park… It's a little bit insulting to the LGBTQAI community.”

LeFevre suggested that what he considers Feucht’s anti-trans message amounts to hate speech.

“Anywhere to me within the city, within the county, within the state, within the U.S., where you have a person here who is spewing hate speech,” LeFevre said. “When he's out there defaming and demonizing the gay community, that's not right.”

Feucht and other faith leaders say their message is about love, not hate.

“God is using this to provoke a nationwide conversation about religious freedom and just testing how tolerant these tolerant people are,” Feucht said in a recent Christian Broadcasting Network podcast.

The Center Square contacted the SPD on Friday to find out how it is preparing for Saturday’s event.

“The Seattle Police Department will respond to criminal behavior, including acts of violence and significant property damage, while enforcing city and state law. We will be utilizing POET officers as the main form of communication between any groups that show up. See our website: The Seattle Police Department Police Outreach Engagement Team (POET),” Det. Eric Munoz, SPD public information officer, said in an email.

According to SPD, the goal for planned or unplanned demonstrations is “to have members of the SPD Police Outreach Engagement Team (POET) talk with organizers and ensure people can safely and effectively exercise their First Amendment rights. Members of POET wear special uniforms specifically labeled “POET.”

The POET officers are commissioned officers carrying department-issued handguns.

A spokesperson from Harrell's office emailed a statement about its decision to permit the event at Gas Works Park.

“The U.S. Constitution requires Seattle Parks and Recreation and the city of Seattle to allow the expression of free speech regardless of the content of the speech,” the email said. “Under the First Amendment, the city cannot decline a permit based on the anticipated message of the event or views of the organizers. At the same time, the city strongly celebrates and supports the LGBTQ+ community. Mayor Harrell and Councilmember Hollingsworth’s request to the organizers to move from Cal Anderson Park and Capitol Hill to another location was based in maintaining public safety. We will continue working with LGBTQ+ residents and organizations to uplift our community and create a welcoming, inclusive city for all.”

REPORT: A group of doctors in Canada now pushing for disabled newborn babies to be euthanized, according to the Daily Mail.

The Quebec College of Physicians says euthanizing disabled babies "may be an appropriate treatment."

"The CMQ reiterates that medical assistance in dying may be an appropriate treatment for babies suffering from extreme pain that cannot be relieved and who have severe malformations or serious polysymptomatic syndromes that destroy any prospect of survival," they told the Daily Mail.

"The CMQ believes that parents should have the opportunity to obtain this care for their infant under these well-defined circumstances."

Medical Assistance in Dying (MAID) is legal in Canada. Patients don't need to be terminally ill to qualify.

"In two years, the mentally ill will qualify for MAID, and parliament has recommended granting access to minors," the Daily Mail reported.

There are going to be two major stories in 2026 that we will have full context to understand.Yes, the 2026 midterm politics are going to lead the headlines,but two other issues will have considerable impact.

The first, is the FISA (702) reauthorization, and there is a lot that will surface in the next several months likely toupend the best laid plans of the administrative UniParty[Tulsi Factor].

The second, is the USMCA reauthorization – the end of the trilateral trade agreement, and the structural shift into two separate free trade agreements.

As to the latter issue, while Mexico and Canada are currently in a state of economic flux,only Mexico is preparingto deal with the seismic shift that is about to unfold.Canada is going to be caught completely off guard.

While Canadian Prime Minister MarkCarney is trotting around Europetrying to establish his relevance amid the pro-Ukraine coalition, Mexican President ClaudiaSheinbaum is spending time focused on her domestic economy.

Mexico is preparing to drop significant tariffs on Chinese imports, a proactive move to position Mexico in advance of the upcoming bilateral discussion.

Sheinbaum knowsthat right now for every deportation ICE executes,her economy is hit as remittances recede.

Simultaneously,for every mile of border wall that is completed, the financial dependency model increases. President Trump’s leverage in the upcoming bilateral trade negotiation against Mexico increases each day, week and month.

Claudia Sheinbaum is smartly focusedon trying to get ahead of the issues,while Mark Carney ignores his vulnerabilityand is about to make Canada naked to the economic weaknesses created by Justin Trudeau.

CHINA POST –Mexico is preparing to raise tariffs on Chinese importsof automobiles, textiles and plastics, Bloomberg News reported on Thursday, under a proposal expected to be part of the 2026 budget to be submitted to the nation’s Congress next month.

If confirmed, the increase would mark one of Mexico’s sharpest trade shifts in recent years.

Officials in Washington have urged the move aspart of US President Donald Trump’s push to build a “Fortress North America” and reduce dependence on Chinese supply chains.

Trump has been along-time critic of what he calls trade “loopholes” in the US-Mexico-Canada Agreementallowing Chinese goods to enter the US. During his election campaign last year, he railed against Chinese carmakers building plants in Mexico to export cars to the US.

Mexico’s imports from China exceeded US$51 billion last year, accounting for nearly one-fifth of the country’s total purchases abroad.

The rapid growth has turned Mexico into China’s top overseas market for vehicles, but has also left local manufacturers complaining of unfair competition from subsidized goods. The planned tariffs could also be extended to other Asian nations,although China remains the main focus. (read more)

Taken in context, Mexican President ClaudiaSheinbaum is prepping to be in alignment with the goals and objectives of President Trump. MeanwhileCanada is completely ignoring the issue of Chinese trade, and the loopholes that anger President Trump within the USMCA exploitation.
