Hamas Ready To Release All Hostages In Major Trump Deal Breakthrough

 

Update(1608ET): Late Friday evening Hamas has announced it has agreed to release all of the Israeli hostages as well as the bodies of those who had died. This is in direct response to President Trump's peace proposal, contained in the 20-point plan released by the White House earlier this week. According to the breaking announcement via the NY Times:

 

In a statement posted online on Friday night, the armed group said it would release the hostages “according to the exchange formula contained in President Trump’s proposal, and as the field conditions for the exchange are met.”

 

“In this context, the movement affirms its readiness to immediately enter into negotiations through the mediators to discuss these details,” the group added.

 

But as the wording suggests, there will be more hurdles to go as the group enters fresh "negotiations". Trump had earlier said there's little room for this, but it's unlikely that Hamas will sign on to all points of the White House plan. Additionally, it remains to be seen whether the IDF will engage in a 'partial withdrawal' from the Strip, as the plan calls for.

 

Nevertheless, at this early moment in entering the new deal, this is the first positive news out of Gaza in a long time, and the US administration is likely to hail it as a major victory going into the weekend.

I’m not “complaining”. I have no complaints. If you know anything about my life you’d know this shed I live in is an upgrade compared to other places I’ve been forced into.

Boeing's 777X widebody jet is not expected to enter commercial service until early 2027, one full year later than planned, or about seven years behind schedule. One Jefferies analyst now expects Boeing to take a massive charge due to the delay, adding yet another headache for the struggling planemaker. The fresh setback comes one week after reports suggested the FAA was easing restrictions on 737 Max deliveries.

 

Bloomberg, citing sources familiar with Boeing and major airlines, reported that the 777X will not be delivered to Deutsche Lufthansa AG and Emirates in 2026, with the latest plans pushing entry into service to 2027.

 

Deutsche Lufthansa AG, the launch customer for the widebody aircraft, is already laying the groundwork for a fresh setback. The German airline isn't including the 777X in its fleet plans until 2027, said one of the people, who asked not to be identified because the matter is confidential. Officials at Emirates, the 777X's biggest customer, have also grown more cautious as it looks at entry into service possibly not before 2027. -BBG

 

The potential commercial delay for the 777X prompted Jefferies analyst Sheila Kahyaoglu to forecast that Boeing could take a charge as large as $4 billion due to the delays.

The Politico cited two defense officials and a former defense official to report that the ouster comes after the confirmation of Navy undersecretary Hung Cao.

 

As per the report, the Pentagon said: “He will no longer serve as Chief of Staff to the Secretary of the Navy. We are grateful for his service to the Department.”Harrison is yet to comment.

 

Reports speculate that Harrison and Navy Secretary John Phelan's sweeping changes to policy and budgeting could be behind Hegseth's move. Politico previously reported that the two reassigned several aides ‘who were supposed to help Cao navigate the role once he’s confirmed’.

 

“They had also planned to interview all future military assistants for Cao to ensure decisions came from the secretary’s office,” the publication added.

 

Cao was nominated by President Trump. He is a Navy veteran and a former Republican Senate candidate in Virginia.

Judge Rules Against Sanctuary Cities, Will Not Stop Trump from Cutting Off Federal Funds

A federal judge ruled against two sanctuary cities this week, ensuring President Donald Trump can move forward with blocking certain Department of Justice (DOJ) grants to such jurisdictions that refuse to cooperate with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

 

Earlier this year,Trump signed two executive orders, both designed to get sanctuary cities to cooperate with ICE as they enforce federal immigration law — or risk losing certain federal funds.

 

Soon after Trump signed the executive orders, the sanctuary cities of Chelsea and Somerville, Massachusetts, filed a lawsuit claiming they would suffer irreparable harm if the orders took effect.

 

On Thursday,Judge Nathaniel M. Gorton sided with the Trump administration and against the sanctuary cities.

 

“This Court acknowledges the nuances and complex relationships that characterize the administration of municipalities and how they prioritize constituent services,” Gorton writes in his ruling:

 

Those complexities notwithstanding, the Cities still bear the burden of demonstrating to this Court how it is not just possible, but likely, that without injunctive relief, they will suffer imminent and irreparable harm. Plaintiffs have not done so. [Emphasis added]

 

For the foregoing reasons, plaintiffs’ motion for preliminary injunction against defendants is DENIED. [Emphasis added]

 

Dale Wilcox with the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR), which filed a brief in the case,said sanctuary cities continue to refuse to cooperate with ICE and have sought out the courts in an attempt to block Trump’s fierce immigration agenda.

 

In this case, Wilcox said, that initiative has failed.

 

“Rather than simply comply with federal law and the Constitution, these cities have run to court to keep the money flowing even as they go on breaking the law,” Wilcox said. “But the administration’s pressure on these cities to obey the law is not an injury a court can recognize. We are pleased the court clearly saw that there was no imminent irreparable harm here, and denied the injunction.”

 

The case is City of Chelsea v. Trump, No. 1:25-cv-10442 in the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts.

CNN has benefited tremendously from its two years of offering a live 24/7 feed of news to HBO Max customers. This also comes after the news that Warner Bros. Discovery is dumping CNN into a separate publicly traded company, along with some other failing cable channels.Why? Because the disgraced CNN is dying and therefore works as a drag on the parent company’s stock price.

 

I cannot wait for CNN’s streaming outlet to launch.Watching that sucker fail will mean an early Christmas. The problem is that CNN has no other choice but to pursue the streaming route. With cable TV doomed and CNN incapable of earning profits through merit (i.e., advertising revenue based on ratings),CNN has to hope it can attract enough subscribers to stay afloat.

Prosecuting Burning of the American Flag

Notwithstanding the Supreme Court's rulings on First Amendment protections, the Court has never held that American Flag desecration conducted in a manner that is likely to incite imminent lawless action or that is an action amounting to “fighting words” is constitutionally protected. See

8 U.S.C. 1427, 8 U.S.C. 1451(c), and 8 U.S.C. 1227(a), whenever there has been an appropriate determination that foreign nationals have engaged in American Flag-desecration activity under circumstances that permit the exercise of such remedies pursuant to Federal law.

 

Sec. 3

Severability.

 

If any provision of this order, or the application of any provision to any person or circumstance, is held to be invalid, the remainder of this order and the application of its provisions to any other persons or circumstances shall not be affected thereby.

 

Sec. 4

General Provisions.

 

(a) Nothing in this order shall be construed to impair or otherwise affect:

 

(i) the authority granted by law to an executive department or agency, or the head thereof; or

 

(ii) the functions of the Director of the Office of Management and Budget relating to budgetary, administrative, or legislative proposals.

Renowned Catholic sculptor Timothy Schmalz turned his grief over Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk’s assassination into a beautiful tributethat will be installed on the campus of Ave Maria University in Florida.

 

In the early hours the day after Kirk was fatally shot while speaking at Utah Valley University in September,Schmalz began working on a sculpture of Jesus Christ comforting Kirk, the Catholic News Agency reported on Friday.

 

Schmalz said it was “a form of prayer” as he worked, and the Agency report noted the artwork showsJesus covering the neck wound that took Kirk’s life with his nail-pierced hand.

“This was the murder of a human being. It was also a violent attack on the premise that we can have discussions as decent human beings.When he was murdered, it was like our freedoms were murdered as well,” Schmalz stated.

 

The artist was horrified at the video clip of Kirk’s assassination online and told the Agency that at the time he thought, “Can you give this person some dignity?

 

Not only are people absolutely barbarically rude when it comes to social media, but now you have this other layer of removing things that are sacred:the idea that a human life should not be murdered.”

 

However, Schmalzused the tragedy and violence to create something good.

 

“All of this really compelled me todo something positive within this horrible situation. I wondered, how would Charlie, who loved Jesus, want to be represented?” he said.

 

Schmalz posted an image of the sculpture on his website, writing:

 

The days after the murder of Charlie Kirk, Pope Leo was quoted saying he was praying for him and his family.The day after this tragedy I started this sculpture of Charlie. This is, in a sense,my visual prayer. It is now finished and ready to be cast in bronze. The first cast of the sculpture will be installed on the campus of Ave Maria University, Florida.

 

Schmalz, who is Canadian,said his prayer is that the world turns away from rage toward kindness and peace.

 

“We are in a culture of nihilism, and our secular society has to be challenged. If we are in a culture war, we have to fight it with culture,” he stated.

 

Schmalz recently told the National Catholic Register that he loves seeing his faith-based carvings displayed where they can promote Christianity.

 

“The best compliment these sculptures receive is to amaze andfascinate the most cynical youths of today,” he explained. “If they think that the art is amazing,they will have to think that the message is as well;a ‘cool’ sculpture outside a church may make them think that, likewise, something ‘cool’ is to be found inside the church,”

 

When Ave Maria UniversityPresident Mark Middendorf saw photosof the sculpture, he and Schmalz agreed the first bronze castingwould be installed at the school’s campus.

 

Tens of thousands of people packed State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, for Kirk’s memorial service following his tragic death, which shocked millions of people around the world, per Breitbart News.

 

Kirk, who was a champion for free speech, the family, and conservative values, was a Christian whose deep faith in Jesus Christ compelled him to share the gospel message with others.

Breaking: The first of the Portland Antifa ICE rioters has been federally convicted.

 

Trantifa militant Julie Winters, formerly Christopher Hudson, has pleaded guilty to felony intimidation of a federal officer and resisting arrest. Other serious charges were dropped as part of the plea deal.

 

Winters tried attacking officers outside ICE with a large knife in June. When he was released from custody, he then violated his release conditions by returning to the area by ICE. Following a seizure in the Eastern Pacific Ocean, the crew of U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Seneca offloaded more than 12,750 pounds of illicit narcotics with a streetvalue estimated to be worth more than $94 millionat Port Everglades, Florida, on Tuesday. The crew alsotransferred 29 smugglers to federal agents for prosecution.

 

The seizures were part of an ongoing operation that utilizes multiple Coast Guard vessels and aircraft to interdict contraband and smugglers in international waters. Coast Guard crews working under Operation Pacific Viper, launched in early August, partner with global and interagency partners to conduct maritime narcotics interdiction operations.

 

ThroughOperation Pacific Viper, the Coast Guard is accelerating counter-drug operations in the Eastern Pacific Ocean, where the transport of illicit narcotics continues from Central and South America. The Coast Guard utilized cutters, aircraft, and tactical teams to interdict, seize, and disrupt transshipments of the cocaine and other bulk illicit drugs offloaded at Port Everglades on Tuesday.

 

According to a Coast Guard press release, Operation Pacific Viper has resulted in the seizure of more than 80,000 pounds of cocaine.

 

Captain Lee Jones, commanding officer of the Coast Guard Cutter Seneca commented on the efforts of his crew saying, “I’m incredibly proud of the teamwork and adaptability displayed by my crew and our partners during this patrol to stop illicit drug flow from entering the United States,our crews sacrifice time away from their families, and when necessary, put themselves in harm’s way to secure our borders and protect the American people.”

 

The Coast Guard is the United States’ lead federal maritime law enforcement agency with authority to enforce national and international laws on the high seas and waters within U.S. jurisdiction. Eighty percent of all U.S.-bound narcotics seizures occur at sea, underscoring the impact of Coast Guard maritime interdiction efforts.

 

Coast Guard Cutter Seneca is a 270-foot Famous-class medium endurance cutterwith a crew of 100homeported in Portsmouth, Virginia.

 

The narcotics seizures made by the Coast Guard and other federal agencies on the high seashave reached historic levels in recent months. As reported by Breitbart Texas, in September, United States Attorney for the District of Columbia Jeanine Pirro announced the most significant federal seizure of drug precursor chemicals by federal law enforcement authorities in U.S. history during a Wednesday press conference in Pasadena, Texas.The precursor chemicals, seized in two separate maritime interdictions, were headed from China to Mexico’s Sinaloa Cartel.

 

In that seizure, 363,000 pounds of benzyl alcohol, which can be used to produce benzyl chloride, a DEA-list II chemicalrestricted in many countries because it can be used toproduce amphetamine-type narcotics illegally, was seized. In addition to the vast quantity of benzyl alcohol seized during that operation,334,000 pounds of N-methyl formamide,a chemical included on the DEA special surveillance list of laboratory supplies used in the manufacture of controlled substances, was also interdicted.

Not because they were fooled, but because they did not want to stand out. The fear of sticking out, of being “that person,” overpowered reality itself.

 

And here is the sobering part: that experiment never ended. It repeats itself every day in classrooms, workplaces, media echo chambers, and politics. People choose the safety of the crowd over the solitude of truth. They surrender what they know is real because they do not want the chill of unpopularity or the sting of rejection. The applause comes cheap, but the price of dissent feels unbearable.

 

Pair that with Stanley Milgram’s obedience studies in the 1960s—where 65 percent of participants willingly administered what they thought were lethal shocks to another person simply because an authority told them to—and you see the bleak pattern. Obedience to authority and conformity to the crowd are the twin forces that crush truth. And yet, every turning point in history has been authored by those who resisted both—the prophets, the dissidents, the whistleblowers, and the reformers.

 

To live this way is to accept loneliness as a companion. It is to endure suspicion, ridicule, and rejection, not because one is wrong but because one refuses to settle for the comforting lie. Truth costs dearly, but its reward is integrity: an internal compass that does not lose its bearing when the crowd veers off course.

 

Applause fades. It always does. What endures is the quiet, steady force of those who never sold out, never bent, and never exchanged their essence for acceptance. They may never be fully understood in their time, but they will always be remembered as the ones who saw clearly, stood firmly, and lived bravely.

Teacher accused of driving 60 miles to meet with teenage girl for sex in Massachusetts

At least six people were arrested in a Washington State Patrol child exploitation sting operation that converged in Liberty Lake this week.

 

Washington State Patrol says those people tried to meet a 13-year-old girl for sex. That girl turned out to be an undercover detective. One of those men was an employee of the KXLY Radio Group.

 

According to court documents, WSP detectives used online apps to pose as fictitious underage girls. Detectives exchanged messages with several people who agreed to meet with these girls, knowing they were underage.

 

Five men and one woman are now being charged with attempted rape of a minor in the second degree. They faced a Spokane County judge for the first time Thursday.

 

Their names are:

 

Jennifer L. Whittaker, 54

Ted A. Whittaker, 54

Michael B. Lewis, 53

Rocky L. Dailey, 63

Trenton S. Watkins, 24

Michael D. Ferguson, 51

Prosecutors say Jennifer Whittaker helped her husband Ted Whittaker meet up with an underage girl for sex. When she and her husband were arrested, she told police this wasn't the first time her husband had arranged something like this.

 

"Also at that point, the defendant in this case Mrs. Whittaker did state that her husband had been hands-on with children in the past that she was aware of," said Anastasiya Krotoff, deputy prosecutor for Spokane County.

 

Both Whittaker and her husband are being charged with attempted rape of a child in the second degree and commercial sexual abuse of a minor.

 

Another man who was arrested in this sting operation was Michael Ferguson, a salesman for the KXLY Radio Group. According to court documents, Ferguson thought he was texting with a 13-year-old girl, but was actually talking to a WSP detective. Investigators say Ferguson agreed to drive to a parking lot in Liberty Lake, then walk to a nearby apartment to meet her.

 

"This included very explicit language about sexual acts he was going to commit. The defendant was arrested with $250 on his person in exchange for the agreed-upon sexual acts," Krotoff said.

 

WSP says it used surveillance drones to follow Ferguson to help its officers make the arrest. Investigators say Ferguson confessed and even wrote an apology letter to his family and his community.

 

Ferguson is charged with attempted rape of a minor in the second degree, commercial sexual abuse of a minor and communication with a minor for immoral purposes.

 

All six defendants are being held on bonds ranging from $100,000 to $150,000. They're due back in court on the seventh.
