Interesting theory on Nancy Guthrie.

I don't know this YouTuber at all, but his recent video popped up as a "recommendation" because I have been keeping an eye on the Guthrie coverage.

Just thought I would share here in case he's on to something.

He's discussing a Special Durable Power of Attorney document that was apparently executed between the son-in-law, Tomasso Cioni (and wife Anne) and Nancy Guthrie, but done so incorrectly back in July 2025.

This is the first I've heard about there being a SDPoA in existence.

The YouTuber opines that the guy who was arrested for the fake ransom note (Derek Callella) may have people in common with Tomasso, and both may owe money (due to gambling debt) to the same third party.

In other words, Tomasso is connected to the fake ransom note for which Derek Callella (of California) was just arrested.

I must admit, it seems strange to me that the fake ransom guy, Derek, knew Tomasso's cell phone number and used it to send a demand to Tomasso and Annie Guthrie last Monday. . . . .

This video I'm sharing was posted only 20 minutes ago so, since it's a novel theory, I thought I'd share.

SBA suspends more than 111,000 borrowers in the state

Friday morning, the Small Business Administration upstaged AG Bonta and announced it has uncovered $8.6 billion in suspected fraud tied to COVID-era relief lending in California and has suspended more than 111,000 borrowers in the state.

SBA Administrator Kelly Loeffler said the borrowers are suspected of improper activity involving federal pandemic programs, including Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) and Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) funds.

“They are accused of collecting money under the paycheck protection and economic injury disaster loans from the federal government that were supposed to ease the economic burden from covid,” the NY Post reported.

“Once again, the Trump SBA is taking decisive action to deliver accountability in a state whose unaccountable welfare policies have created a culture of fraud and abuse at the expense of law-abiding taxpayers and small business owners,” Loeffler told The Post.

Deporting Illegal Aliens and the Impact on Inflation, Consumer Prices and WagesFebruary 6, 2026 | Sundance | 273 Comments

CTH reader “Charles” asked a great question yesterday that deserves some expansion:

CHARLES: “I’m having some trouble parsing how exfiltrating [deporting] illegal alien workers thereby pushing American wages upward can cause a decrease in inflation. Conventional wisdom for my whole life (73 years) has held that increasing labor costs drive inflation upwards.”

It’s a great question because Charlesis essentially correct from a historical reference. However, we are in uncharted territory due to the scale of illegal aliens within the U.S.economy in this modern era. The answer is a commonsense theory currently playing out in real time.

ANSWER: A much larger percentage of illegal aliens live on various subsidies and govt spending programs than our native American population. As a result,it’s like govt spending, except we have ten million people spending excessive govt money instead of one big spending bill.

The underlying economy is inorganic and detached from traditional cause and effect. In this dynamic when you deport the illegals, we are reducing the govt spending. Less govt spending actually tames inflation and lowers housing costs at a greater rate than the upward pressure on wages.

Removing the ‘free govt money” from the economy, creates less upward price pressure. Additionally, deporting the govt spender reinstalls a more authentic supply and demand economy, because the current demand is skewed by all the ‘free money’ subsidy spending.

Charles is correct in that within his 73-years this was not evident. That’s because we have an unprecedented number of illegal aliens spending govt money without any economic productivity. Those subsidies, extra non-productive money in the economy, creates upward price pressure. Take the money away and prices drop.

It’s the same issue we have always had with supplemental food assistance programs, and entirely the reason why Barack Obama exploded the number of people eligible for food stamps and SNAP benefits.

This is also why Big Ag and big corporate food conglomerates always lobby for increases in food subsidy programs. It enables them to charge more money and make bigger profits.

Think of it like shopping in a grocery store. Perhaps 50% of the customers pay for their purchases with wages, 50% of the customers pay with govt subsidy. Everyone from the field to the store can charge more money. The retailer can charge more for the products because half of the customers are essentially disconnected from feeling any impact.

Take away or lower the ‘free money’ subsidy, and food prices start to return to a more traditional supply/demand scenario.

Take the “free money” illegal aliens out of the spending economy and you increase the percentage of authentic, actually productive money earned from wages being spent.

Now, to be fair, there is a point at which the price pressure from the rate of spending drops below the upward pressure from the rate of wage growth. Once that apex is crossed, the wage growth can naturally drive inflation; Charle’s traditional frame of reference.However, due to the scale of spending by illegal aliens, we are a long way from the point at which that happens.

Right now, my best guess is we can likely remove 10 to 15 million subsidized illegal alien spenders, before we reach the point where upward worker wage pressure starts to exceed the downward price pressure created by removing ‘free money’ spending.

And yes, we are in uncharted territory. Traditional economic references don’t work.This is one reason why America-First MAGAnomics is defying all the traditional economic analysis. Tariffs do not increase consumer prices; at scale they decrease producer margins. Deportation doesn’t drive inflation; at scale removal actually lowers prices.

US Appeals Court Rejects Challenge to Trump's Efforts to Ban DEI

A U.S. appeals court lifted a block on the Trump administration’s ban on diversity, equity and inclusion programs at federal agencies and government contractors. The court ruled that President DonaldTrump’s executive orders eliminating DEI initiatives cannot be challenged broadly, but only through specific applications.

Opponents said the decision leaves the door open for further legal challenges over how the DEI bans are enforced.A federal appeals court on Friday rejected a challenge to a move by President Donald Trump’s administration to ban diversity, equity and inclusion programs at federal agencies and businesses with government contracts.

A three-judge panel of the Richmond, Virginia-based 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals overturned an injunction that would have blocked Trump’s administration from implementing executive orders he signed shortly after taking office last year aimed at eliminating DEI programming in the government and private sector.

The court in March 2025, at the administration’s urging, put on hold that preliminary injunction, which had been issued by Baltimore-based U.S. District Judge Adam Abelson, while it weighed the government’s appeal.

White House spokeswoman Abigail Jackson, in a statement, called the ruling a “big win,” adding that the administration “has proudly put an end to unlawful DEI discrimination in the federal government.”

Further Challenges PossibleSkye Perryman, whose liberal legal group Democracy Forward represented the plaintiffs, noted the ruling left open the ability for further challenges to how Trump’s orders are implemented.

“We are looking forward to continuing to litigate this case in the district court,” she said in a statement.

Abelson’s ruling came in a lawsuit by the city of Baltimore, the National Association of Diversity Officers in Higher Education and the American Association of University Professors.

They challenged provisions of Trump’s executive orders that directed federal agencies to eliminate DEI programs, require government contractors and grant recipients to certify that they do not operate them, and work with the Justice Department to take measures to deter DEI programs and investigate companies with such policies.

Abelson had concluded Trump’s directives likely violate the U.S. Constitution’s First Amendment free speech protections and impose vague standards that fail to comply with the Fifth Amendment’s due process requirements.

But U.S. Circuit Judge Albert Diaz, writing for Friday’s panel, said Trump’s directives could not be challenged head-on, saying they could instead be challenged based on how agencies apply them to specific grant recipients.

“President Trump has decided that equity isn’t a priority in his administration and so has directed his subordinates to terminate funding that supports equity-related projects to the maximum extent allowed by law,” Diaz wrote. “Whether that’s sound policy or not isn’t our call.”

Diaz, an appointee of Democratic President Barack Obama, in a separate concurring opinion, said he had reached his conclusion “reluctantly,” saying the evidence suggested a “sinister story” that resulted in important programs being terminated by keyword.

“For those disappointed by the outcome, I say this: Follow the law,” Diaz wrote. “Continue your critical work. Keep the faith. And depend on the Constitution, which remains a beacon amid the tumult.

Friess was also an advisor to Turning Point USA, a conservative youth organization to which he donated seed money.[33]

In October 2017, Friess said he was exploring a possible candidacy for the Senate challenging Wyoming Senator John Barrasso for the Republican nomination,[34] at the request ofSteve Bannon.[35] However, in April 2018, he instead decided to enter the crowded Republican field to replace term-limited Governor Matt Mead. Friess was defeated in the primary, coming in second to State Treasurer Mark Gordon by 38,951 votes (33%) to 29,842 (25.3%).[35]

For once it wasn’t the upstairs neighbor’s late-night bongo session that punctured the peace and quiet around 11:20 p.m. Sunday evening.

It was a boom, and by any measure, a big one.

Confronted with the cacophony, many Portlanders took to social media, where one user inquired about the “WTF level boom” echoing across Southeast Portland.

Others tuned in to the Portland Fire & Rescue scanner, awaiting news of an elephant stampede at the timpani factory.

Residents even alerted emergency services, with several callers claiming to see smoke rising from a commercial building. Fire crews investigated a few central locations, including Southeast Grand Avenue off Division Place.

“The only thing we’re seeing is a one-story wide commercial building with steam coming off…out of a vent,” a firefighter radioed in.

“Police confirmed it was a mortar that went off and have cleared,” a dispatcher replied, ruining everyone’s fun.

But it appears the mystery triggered an encore, or perhaps an opener, as clear-eared Portlanders began reporting other loud sounds. Some said they’d heard thunderous retorts on Saturday evening, Wednesday evening — with one reporting a broad-daylight boom around 4 p.m. Monday.

Maybe all the racket was emanating from the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility, some people wondered.

Alas, The Oregonian/OregonLive’s reporting indicates there were no large blasts at ICE on any of those occasions, with Saturday being the only night with much of a crowd present.

Yet if the clamor has left residents straining to hear good news over the whirr of the white noise machine, maybe it’s this. A boom loop is better than a doom loop.

But clearly, Khelif does have a problem with that.

When World Boxing introduced mandatory chromosome testing last year, Khelif withdrew from the Eindhoven Box Cup in the Netherlands rather than submit to the test. The 26-year-old has also formally appealed the policy, challenging the requirement through the Court of Arbitration for Sport in an attempt to overturn the rule entirely.

At any point over the past 18 months of controversy, Khelif could have submitted a simple cheek swab — but actively fought not to do so. Yet we're supposed to believe this boxer is suddenly open and cooperative?

The new interview revealed that Khelif underwent hormone suppression ahead of the Paris Olympics.

"For the Paris Games qualifying tournament, which took place in Dakar, I lowered my testosterone levels to zero," Khelif said.

That statement raises immediate red flags.

Lowering testosterone to absolute zero would be physiologically implausible for any living human — male or female — let alone someone capable of training, recovering and competing at an elite Olympic level. Even women produce measurable amounts of testosterone, and complete suppression would come with severe physical consequences.

But that's not the point anyway.

By acknowledging a Y chromosome, Khelif has effectively confirmed what female boxers, governing bodies and reporters have been saying all along: the boxer is biologically male.

Last night I asked President Trump to help the people of California due to outrageous fire zone reclassification. The example was my subdivision in the desert which went from a non-listed fire zone to the highest possible hazard equivalent to mountain cities such as Paradise, CA. This will immediately damage property values, insurance will be cancelled and the California FAIR plan will benefit which I suspect is the entire intent. In attempting to determine what has changed I have identified one individual and a local fire model change that are the root cause of reclassification. State Fire Marshal Daniel Berlant who was appointed by Governor Gavin Newsom on October 6, 2023 is the direct cause of the fire model change which emphasized wind carried embers resulting in a significant increase in fire hazard severity. Locally the surrounding desert ground cover identification was changed from a mix of GS1 and GR2 ground cover which is sparse shrubs with less than 50% cover and low load dry grass both of which are appropriate for the area. The area was changed to GS2 only which is 1-3ft shrubs with 30-50% coverage which is far beyond actual and the direct cause of reclassification. Roads were also deleted from the model. It appears from LANDFIRE data that the entire valley area had an increase in fuel bed per the model and that is the data most significantly changing classification. I suspect this was a "simple" model change to the "default" California land classification despite being inaccurate that is being used to allow insurance agencies to drop wildfire policy coverage and force people onto the FAIR plan. Someone at the LANDFIRE.gov site must also be involved for an entire region fuel bed to be reclassified particularly when it has been dry here due to "climate change". The FAIR plan is in deep financial trouble after the Palisades fire and needs more income. This smells like a conspiracy to defraud the people of California once again while pointing at science as the cause. I hope President Trump can flush out the fraudsters here and finally put them in prison.
