I put this out once before some time ago. I was up early doing Bible study online and went to a section where volunteers would say prayers to God upon request. My prayer was that they would help me pray for my fren that I love dearly. Well after submitting the request, that same fren wakes up and enters the living room where I was at and immediately says I thought I told you not to pray for me. Understand she had no idea what I was doing on the computer and it was not her saying this but something else speaking through her. I still pray for her daily. Have been doing so for over 26 years every day.

NEW: President Trump says Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu will have "no choice" but to accept a deal with Iran— "I call the shots. I call all the shots. He doesn't call the shots."

 

Context:

Iran’s fired a missile barrage on Israel (June 7): in retaliation for Israeli airstrikes on Beirut’s southern suburbs earlier that day. Israel’s defenses intercepted the attacks, but this marked Tehran’s first direct strike on Israel since the U.S.-brokered April ceasefire.

 

President Trump publicly announced he was calling Netanyahu to urge him NOT TO retaliate, stating, “Each of them had their fun. Israel had its strike, and Iran had its strike. We don’t need another one.” He emphasized that further escalation would derail ongoing U.S. negotiations for a broader deal with Iran.

 

In a Financial Times interview published today, President Trump said Netanyahu “won’t have any choice” but to accept whatever Iran deal the U.S. reaches, stating: “I call the shots. I call all the shots. He [Netanyahu] doesn’t call the shots.”

 

Netanyahu’s reported response: Israeli officials say Netanyahu pushed back during the call but ultimately “pseudo-agreed” to delay any strike on Iran for several more days to give diplomacy a chance.

Charles James Kirk (October 14, 1993 – September 10, 2025) was an American right-wing political activist, author, and media personality. He co-founded the conservative organization Turning Point USA (TPUSA) in 2012 and was its executive director. He was the chief executive officer (CEO) of Turning Point Action (TPAction) and a member of the Council for National Policy (CNP). In October 2017, Friess said he was exploring a possible candidacy for the Senate challenging Wyoming Senator John Barrasso for the Republican nomination,[34] at the request ofSteve Bannon.[35] However, in April 2018, he instead decided to enter the crowded Republican field to replace term-limited Governor Matt Mead. Friess was defeated in the primary, coming in second to State Treasurer Mark Gordon by 38,951 votes (33%) to 29,842 (25.3%).[35]

A plane crash has been caught on camera, with footage capturing the plane hitting the ground and sliding along for several metres, before bursting into flames.

The crash and subsequent explosion killed the two crew members on board, according to aviation officials and local media in the Dominican Republic. Names of the pilot and copilot who were killed have not been released. No passengers were reported to be on board.

 

The aircraft has been identified by Dominican aviation officials as a GALX with US. registration number N318JF, which was returning to La Romana International Airport in southeastern Dominican Republic.

Local media has reported that the plane was bound for Austin, Texas, in the United States before it declared an emergency about 16 nautical miles southwest of La Romana and turned back toward the airport.

In the clip, a white business jet is seen moving at high speed along the ground near the runway, kicking up massive clouds of dirt and dust as it veers off its path. Parts of the fuselage can be seen beginning to break away under the immense force.

 

Moments later, a fire suddenly erupts from the rear section of the jet. As the plane continued to slide and disintegrate, the fire triggered a larger explosion.

The video ends on the wreckage engulfed in flames with a massive plume of thick, black smoke billowing into the air over the airport grounds, with emergency vehicles racing toward the fiery remnants of the plane to control the blaze.

 

The Dominican Civil Aviation Institute and the country’s Aviation Accident Investigation Commission said emergency protocols were activated and investigators are working to determine the cause of the crash.

Back in November, amid mounting speculation that OpenAI's massive cash burn was massively unsustainable in light of the $1.4 trillion of funding commitments by the AI company, which in turn has sparked the biggest capex flood in modern history all on the hope that the company's promised payments will be made good, OpenAI CFO Sarah Friar sparked a market selloff when amid an admission that OpenAI was “looking for an ecosystem of banks [and] private equity” to support its ambitious plans, she explicitly said that the US government would have to “backstop the guarantee that allows the financing to happen."

 

In other words, as we explained at the time, when all the other sources of funds dried up - clearly a scenario the company is considering judging by her response - the company would have to come to the US taxpayer.

 

Friar further explained that "Federal loan guarantees would really drop the cost of the financing," enabling OpenAI and its investors to borrow more money at lower rates to meet the company's ambitious targets. Right… because there is nothing like a company with $14BN in revenue, $1 trillion in "valuation" and $1.4 trillion in commitments, than loading up to the gills with government-backstopped debt… if only Enron and Lehman had thought to do the same, both would still be around.

 

Anyway, after the market vividly demonstrated it was less than enthused by this proposal, sending shares in the AI sector sharply lower as it signaled OpenAI itself doubted it would have the financial wherewithal to meet its obligations, the company promptly shelved any discussion of a taxpayer bailout backstop Federal loan guarantee, and even prompted a rare tweet from Sam Altman to explain why Sarah didn't really mean the things she said.

 

All that changed late last week, when Donald Trump caught much of the AI industry by surprise when he threw his weight behind a radical proposal for companies such as OpenAI to hand equity stakes to the American people.

Traditionally speaking, although with many arguments, having a war under your belt is a good thing for a presidency. It shows you're a fighter and instills patriotism through a common enemy etc. etc.

But…BUT…the revolving door at the top is not producing The Standard which has a trickle down effect.

The branches still suck immensely, the VA, the DOD(now DOW), even voluntary veteran associations are infested.

The military standard used to be to vigorously do what needed to be done with immediate resolve.

If the 'military is the only way', fix it and instill confidence in the people that support the institution.

Start at home and dial back all these mini wars so the volunteers truly know what they are fighting for before going all out on yet another.

The former American supermodel and movie star Carré Otis filed a complaint Friday (5) at a Paris court against the former European head of Elite Model agency, Gérald Marie.

 

Otis alleges that Marie raped and trafficked her, starting in the 1980’s, in a move designed to encourage other potential victims to come forward.

 

Otis is known by many as the star of the torrid 1989 Zalman King movie Wild Orchid, in which she co-starred with Mickey Rourke and Jacqueline Bisset.

 

“Marie has denied the allegations and cannot be prosecuted over Otis’ case because of France’s statute of limitations. But the complaint could allow other women, whether their cases are time-barred or not, to join the proceedings, Otis’ lawyer, Mathias Darmon, said in a statement to The Associated Press.”

 

The Associated Press is reporting that the complaint alleges ‘rape of a minor’ and ‘human trafficking’.

 

“Sent to Paris in 1986 by Elite Model agency, Otis, who was then 17, was housed in Marie’s apartment, “mistakenly believing that he wanted to support her modeling career,” according to the complaint. ‘While living in the apartment, she alleges that she was raped on multiple occasions by the accused, who subsequently arranged for her to be provided to other wealthy men across Europe’.”

 

The case bears striking similarities with the allegations against alleged serial rapist Jean-Luc Brunel, a famous French modeling agent tied to Jeffrey Epstein, who was found dead in his cell in the Paris La Santé prison.

At the age of forty, however, he emigrated to the city of Croton in southern Italy and most of his philosophical activity occurred there. Pythagoras wrote nothing, nor were there any detailed accounts of his thought written by contemporaries. By the first centuries BCE, moreover, it became fashionable to present Pythagoras in a largely unhistorical fashion as a semi-divine figure, who originated all that was true in the Greek philosophical tradition, including many of Plato’s and Aristotle’s mature ideas. The Pythagorean question, then, is how to get behind this false glorification of Pythagoras in order to determine what the historical Pythagoras actually thought and did. In order to obtain an accurate appreciation of Pythagoras’ achievement, it is important to rely on the earliest evidence before the distortions of the later tradition arose. The popular modern image of Pythagoras is that of a master mathematician and scientist. The early evidence shows, however, that, while Pythagoras was famous in his own day and even 150 years later in the time of Plato and Aristotle, it was not mathematics or science upon which his fame rested. Pythagoras was famous (1) as an expert on the fate of the soul after death, who thought that the soul was immortal and went through a series of reincarnations; (2) as an expert on religious ritual; (3) as a wonder-worker who had a thigh of gold and who could be two places at the same time; (4) as the founder of a strict way of life that emphasized dietary restrictions, religious ritual and rigorous self discipline.

 

It remains controversial whether he also engaged in the rational cosmology that is typical of the Presocratic philosopher/scientists and whether he was in any sense a mathematician. The early evidence suggests, however, that Pythagoras presented a cosmos that was structured according to moral principles and significant numerical relationships and may have been akin to conceptions of the cosmos found in Platonic myths, such as those at the end of the Phaedo and Republic. In such a cosmos, the planets were seen as instruments of divine vengeance (“the hounds of Persephone”), the sun and moon are the isles of the blessed where we may go, if we live a good life, while thunder functioned to frighten the souls being punished in Tartarus. The heavenly bodies also appear to have moved in accordance with the mathematical ratios that govern the concordant musical intervals in order to produce a music of the heavens, which in the later tradition developed into “the harmony of the spheres.” It is doubtful that Pythagoras himself thought in terms of spheres, and the mathematics of the movements of the heavens was not worked out in detail. There is evidence that he valued relationships between numbers such as those embodied in the so-called Pythagorean theorem, though it is not likely that he proved the theorem. In recent scholarship this consensus view has received strong challenges, which will be discussed below.

 

Pythagoras’ cosmos was developed in a more scientific and mathematical direction by his successors in the Pythagorean tradition, Philolaus and Archytas. Pythagoras succeeded in promulgating a new more optimistic view of the fate of the soul after death and in founding a way of life that was attractive for its rigor and discipline and that drew to him numerous devoted followers.

Bots and AI agents now generate more web traffic than humans, according to data from internet infrastructure company Cloudflare. CEO Matthew Prince has described the development as a major turning point in the history of the web.

Recent Cloudflare Radar data shows that automated bot requests account for roughly 57% of traffic to ordinary webpages across a selection of websites using the company’s services, compared with about 43% generated by humans.

“Welp, that happened faster than I predicted,”Cloudflare co-founder and CEO Matthew Prince wrote on X on Wednesday. He stated that he had expected automated traffic to overtake human activity only in 2027, but that “agentic traffic” has grown rapidly enough for bots to pass humans “for the first time in the Internet’s history.” 

The shift is primarily being driven by AI agents – automated systems that browse, retrieve, and process web content on behalf of users. While a human might visit a handful of websites before making a purchase or researching a topic, an AI agent can scan thousands of pages in order to produce an answer or complete a task.

 

Cloudflare’s figures suggest that much of today’s web activity is no longer ordinary browsing by people clicking through pages, but machine-to-machine traffic with automated systems requesting data from websites, apps, services and databases. The data covers web traffic only and does not include activities such as streaming, messaging, gaming, or app usage.

The trend has revived debate over the “dead internet theory,” the idea that much of online activity is increasingly generated by bots, automated accounts, and AI systems interacting with other machine-made content.

The rise of bot traffic has also threatened the internet’s advertising-based business model. Since bots do not click on ads, concerns have been raised about whether websites may eventually charge AI agents for access to content.

Meanwhile, researchers have also noted that large parts of the older web have been disappearing. A 2024 Pew Research Center study found that 38% of webpages that existed in 2013 were no longer accessible a decade later, fueling concerns that the open web is being transformed from a space built around human browsing into one increasingly dominated by automated systems.
