Three top Senior Justice Department officials, two who are senior prosecutors on Robert Mueller’ Special Counsel, met with Bruce Ohr in the summer of 2016, well before the FBI sought a FISA warrant on a Trump campaign official. Ohr informed the trio of DOJ officials about his close contact with former British Spy Christopher Steele, whose dossier was used as the bulk of evidence to obtain the warrant to spy on Carter Page.

 

Ohr, who was then the Associate Deputy Attorney General, told members of Congress during his closed-door testimony in August 2018 that he had informed senior officials that he was delivering information he was gathering from Steele and Glenn Simpson, the founder of embattled research firm Fusion GPS.

 

 

 

Ohr’s testimony also had a stunning revelation that Andrew Weissmann, who was then head of the DOJ’s Criminal Fraud section and now Deputy Special Counsel for Robert Mueller, was also briefed by Ohr on his meetings with Steele during the summer of 2016, shortly after Ohr met with Steele. The testimony, which has not yet been made public, was authenticated by sources from congressional testimony to SaraACarter.com.

 

Under intense questioning from former North Carolina Rep. Trey Gowdy, Ohr named the officials he informed about his contact with Steele.

 

“I spoke with some people in the Criminal Division, other career officials who dealt with some of these matters,” Ohr told Gowdy.

 

 

 

“Any names?” asked Gowdy.

 

“Yes,” said Ohr. “So, I was about to tell you. One of them was Bruce Swartz, who is the counselor for International Affairs in the Criminal Division; a person who was working with him at the time, working on similar matters in the Criminal Division was Zainab Ahmad; and a third person who was working on some—some of these matters I believe was Andrew Weissmann.”

 

Like, Weissmann, Ahmad, a Pakistani American lawyer, also has a senior role as a prosecutor on Mueller’s team investigating the Trump campaign and the Russia investigation.

 

 

 

Gowdy also asked Ohr about how he first met with and delivered information regarding Steele to the FBI.

 

“How did you find out to meet with? Who did you call to find out,” Gowdy asked during the hearing.

 

“After the July 30thmeeting with Chris Steele, I wanted to provide the information he had given me to the FBI,” said Ohr. “I reached out for Andrew McCabe, at that time, Deputy Director of the FBI and somebody who had previously led the organized crime, Russian organized crime squad in NY and who I had worked with in the past, and asked if he could meet with me.”

 

Ohr went onto say, “I went to his office to provide the information, and Lisa Page was there. So, I provided the information to them. And some point after that, I think, I was given Peter Strzok, or somehow put in contact with Peter Strzok.”

 

 

 

Gowdy follows up with “when was that?”

 

“I don’t recall the exact date,” said Ohr. “I’m guessing it would’ve been August since I met with Chris Steele at the end of July, and I’m pretty sure I would have reached out to Andrew McCabe soon afterwards.”

Oregon Could Become the First State to Require In-Home Surveillance of Newborn Babies

 

If Oregon Governor Kate Brown has her way, the Beaver State will become the first to require universal home visits for newborn children in the care of their own parents.

 

Senate Bill 526, introduced this month in the Oregon Legislative Assembly as part of Brown's budget, orders the Oregon Health Authority to "study home visiting by licensed health care providers." Lawmakers went so far as to declare that SB 526 is an "emergency" measure — one that requires a resolution by the end of the year. The intro to the bill, the language of which has not yet been crafted, reads:

 

The Oregon Health Authority shall study home visiting by licensed health care providers in this state. The authority shall submit findings and recommendations for legislation to an interim committee of the Legislative Assembly related to health care not later than December 31, 2019.

 

Moreover, the 18 sponsors of the bill claim that its passage is "necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety," and therefore "an emergency is declared to exist."

 

What's the big emergency? Apparently, the state of Oregon is concerned that some parents are raising their children without the watchful eye of Big Brother monitoring their every move — a big no-no in the view of the progressive left.

 

Patrick Allen, director of the Oregon Health Authority, told the Beaverton Valley Times that he's enthusiastic about the idea of universal inspections for newborns. "This isn't something for people in trouble. This is stuff all kids need. Stuff my kids needed," Allen said.

 

According to the Beaver Valley Times, "When the program is complete, every new parent — this includes adoptions — would receive a series of two or three visits by someone like a nurse or other health care practitioner. The visits could include basic health screenings for babies; hooking parents up with primary care physicians; linking them to other services; and coordinating the myriad childhood immunizations that babies need."

 

The program has been piloted in Lincoln County but has not been tried statewide.

 

Sen. Elizabeth Steiner Hayward (D-Beaverton), who sits on the powerful Ways and Means Committee that will hammer out the language of the legislation, has said that universal home visits are a priority for her.

 

And Oregon is not alone in the push for "universal" home visits. Washington Governor Jay Inslee tweeted earlier this month, "My budget would also offer universal home visits. This gives every new parent the opportunity to get a visit from a nurse during the first few weeks back home with their newborn to share important information and build confidence."

Pelosi’s Border Policy: More Guards at the Front Door, Open Back Door

 

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is trying to drain political support and funding from the planned border wall by repeatedly urging more federal spending to improve the official gateways through the border.

 

“If you want infrastructure, we need more infrastructure at the Ports of Entry,” she told reporters January 3. She continued:

 

If you want to detect drugs, as we all do, then there is technology that can scan these cars coming through. We’re spending about $40 million, we should be spending about $300 million to do that, and that is by the border control people’s own numbers.

 

“Pelosi is drawing attention to a real issue,” said Mark Krikorian, the director of the Center for Immigration Studies. He continued:

 

The Ports of Entry are a major source of smuggling, illegal aliens and drugs and what have you. But that does not mean you can leave the back door open.

 

In her response to President Donald Trump’s January 8 national address calling for a border wall, Pelosi again focused on the Ports of Entry:

 

We can build the infrastructure and roads at our ports of entry. We can install new technology to scan cars and trucks for drugs coming into our nation. We can hire the personnel we need to facilitate trade and immigration at the border. We can fund more innovation to detect unauthorized crossings.

 

Trump repeatedly makes the obvious counterpoint — that the drug smugglers and labor traffickers can always drive around any improved security at the Ports of Entry if there is no wall to stop them.

 

On January 14, Trump told a farm industry convention:

 

You can’t have openings because if you have an opening, they go here, and they just sort of go over this way, they find the opening spot, they come in …

 

Much of [the drug trafficking] comes through areas that are not your portals, including meth and cocaine and heroin and fentanyl. Heroin alone … kills 300 Americans a week, and 90 percent of it – at least – crosses the southern border.

 

On January 4, Trump told reporters that “We can’t let gaps. Because if you have gaps, those people are going to turn their vehicles, or the gangs — they’re going to coming in through those gaps. And we cannot let that happen.”

 

On January 6, Trump also approved Pelosi’s call for more spending on the Ports of Entry, effectively denying Pelosi the ability to treat it as an alternative to the border wall.

 

A January 6 priority list from the Office of Management and Budget asked Congress to provide $5.7 billion for 234 miles of border wall, $631 million to buy extra devices to screen vehicles for drugs as they cross the border, and $800 million for extra “humanitarian needs” for the growing wave of job-seeking migrants. The extra funding would include money for “temporary facilities [at the border] for processing and short-term custody of this vulnerable population.”

 

But on January 11, Pelosi’s Ports of Entry talking point was added to the Democrats’ weekly address, given by California Rep. Scott Petes:

 

Our nation’s investments in Ports of Entry support a thriving international economy. They also provide critical border security. Customs agents inspect, weigh and x-ray vehicles and bags. They make sure travelers have proper identification and valid visas – that they are properly vetted and screened before entering the United States.

On January 16, the Houthis launched a large-scale attack in the northwestern province of Hajjah and recaptured several key positions east of the Triangle of A’hm from the Saudi-led coalition and its proxies.

 

The Yemeni group’s media wing released a 7-minute video of the attack showing Houthi fighters shelling Saudi-led coalition forces before storming their positions in the area. DOJ Seeks to Stall Court-Ordered Discovery on Clinton Email Scandal – Cites Government Shutdown

 

On Wednesday evening, the corrupt Justice Department sought to stall a court-ordered discovery plan, citing the government shutdown, according to Judicial Watch president Tom Fitton.

 

A federal judge ruled on Tuesday that discovery can begin in Hillary Clinton’s email scandal.

The Constitution directly addresses the minimum qualifications necessary to serve as President. In addition to requiring thirty-five years of age and fourteen years of residency, the Constitution limits the presidency to “a natural born Citizen.”

 

All the sources routinely used to interpret the Constitution confirm that the phrase “natural born Citizen” has a specific meaning: namely, someone who was a U.S. citizen at birth with no need to go through a naturalization proceeding at some later time. And Congress has made equally clear from the time of the framing of the Constitution to the current day that, subject to certain residency requirements on the parents, someone born to a U.S. citizen parent generally becomes a U.S. citizen without regard to whether the birth takes place in Canada, the Canal Zone, or the continental United States.

 

While some constitutional issues are truly difficult, with framing-era sources either nonexistent or contradictory, here, the relevant materials clearly indicate that a “natural born Citizen” means a citizen from birth with no need to go through naturalization proceedings. The Supreme Court has long recognized that two particularly useful sources in understanding constitutional terms are British common law

 

Both confirm that the original meaning of the phrase “natural born Citizen” includes persons born abroad who are citizens from birth based on the citizenship of a parent.

 

As to the British practice, laws in force in the 1700s recognized that children born outside of the British Empire to subjects of the Crown were subjects themselves and explicitly used “natural born” to encompass such children.

 

These statutes provided that children born abroad to subjects of the British Empire were “natural-born Subjects . . . to all Intents, Constructions, and Purposes whatsoever.”

 

The Framers, of course, would have been intimately familiar with these statutes and the way they used terms like “natural born,” since the statutes were binding law in the colonies before the Revolutionary War. They were also well documented in Blackstone’s Commentaries,

a text widely circulated and read by the Framers and routinely invoked in interpreting the Constitution.

 

No doubt informed by this longstanding tradition, just three years after the drafting of the Constitution, the First Congress established that children born abroad to U.S. citizens were U.S. citizens at birth, and explicitly recognized that such children were “natural born Citizens.”

 

The Naturalization Act of 1790 provided that “the children of citizens of the United States, that may be born beyond sea, or out of the limits of the United States, shall be considered as natural born citizens: Provided, That the right of citizenship shall not descend to persons whose fathers have never been resident in the United States . . . .”

 

The actions and understandings of the First Congress are particularly persuasive because so many of the Framers of the Constitution were also members of the First Congress. That is particularly true in this instance, as eight of the eleven members of the committee that proposed the natural born eligibility requirement to the Convention served in the First Congress and none objected to a definition of “natural born Citizen” that included persons born abroad to citizen parents.

 

The proviso in the Naturalization Act of 1790 underscores that while the concept of “natural born Citizen” has remained constant and plainly includes someone who is a citizen from birth by descent without the need to undergo naturalization proceedings, the details of which individuals born abroad to a citizen parent qualify as citizens from birth have changed. The pre-Revolution British statutes sometimes focused on paternity such that only children of citizen fathers were granted citizenship at birth.

 

The Naturalization Act of 1790 expanded the class of citizens at birth to include children born abroad of citizen mothers as long as the father had at least been resident in the United States at some point. But Congress eliminated that differential treatment of citizen mothers and fathers before any of the potential candidates in the current presidential election were born. Thus, in the relevant time period, and subject to certain residency requirements, children born abroad of a citizen parent were citizens from the moment of birth, and thus are “natural born Citizens.”

The Framers did not fear such machinations from those who were U.S. citizens from birth just because of the happenstance of a foreign birthplace. Indeed, John Jay’s own children were born abroad while he served on diplomatic assignments, and it would be absurd to conclude that Jay proposed to exclude his own children, as foreigners of dubious loyalty, from presidential eligibility.

if it was anybody at that level of the FBI, it was Priestap.

 

Bill was at the SDNY - the same district that Weiner was arrested/investigated in (and at the same time as) until Dec 2015. His position at the SDNY almost certainly would put him 'in the know' about everything involving Weiner/Huma as well.

Reminds me of a former neighbor with zero legal education telling me (law fag) that making the Federal Government making us pay income taxes was Unconstitutional. He was following some tax avoidance schemer. It all depends on how the Constitution is interpreted, but you know how the Courts will interpret as witnessed by all of the followers who went to prison for income tax evasion.

A few days later, there was another meeting in Alpharetta, during which Taheb allegedly showed the FBI worker a composition notebook with a hand-drawn map of the ground floor of the West Wing in the White House. Taheb seemed to believe the informant and FBI worker would join his plot if they could find weapons, according to the document.

 

By mid-December, Taheb had allegedly broadened the scope of places he wanted to attack to include the Washington Monument, the Lincoln Memorial and a synagogue. He said he wanted to use handguns, IEDs, an AT-4 anti-armor weapon and hand grenades.

 

The conversations continued into this month with Taheb allegedly discussing growing the group, disdain for the U.S. and Israel and various angles of the plot. He also expressed worry that his family would catch on to the plans.

 

The attack on the White House was supposed to involve driving on a road behind the building, creating a diversion and shooting a hole through the building to gain entry and kill people, the complaint said.

 

On Wednesday, Taheb went to a Buford store parking lot for the purpose of him and the FBI worker exchanging their vehicles for semi-automatic rifles, explosive devices and an AT-4, the complaint said. A second informant inspected the vehicles and told Taheb the money was in the ashtray of one of them.

Been going through archive of FBI Anon threads.

 

This one here stuck out at me. How DJT's campaign is going to be studied by PSYOP professionals in the future. How it was text book.

 

To me this is confirmation of MI involvement in DJT's campaign. My digs lead me back to 2011 and the birther movement. I am not going to Dox but there was a colonel involved in the movement that was a part of the PAC that first funded DJT. He was also responsible for an important army manual on PSYWAR.

 

To me it explains why DJT was a birther in the first place.

I apologize if this may be a bit lengthy. Vetfag here just weighing in with my thoughts of the Barr/AG hearing. When POTUS nominated Barr, I was hesitant at first, since he served under GHWB. So, I followed Qs approach, patience. I did some follow-up as well as watch what I could on the hearings. A few things struck me as interesting, and everyone is more than welcome to roast (correct) me if need be. I do not claim to be a know-it-all, just trying to stay well informed like many other Americans. My thoughts are as follow:

 

–Objectivity his answers were spot on. Clear, concise, and in speaking to my vetfag experience, compliance with said policies/instructions/regulations.

 

–He clearly has respect for the rule of law! In taking from his responses… he makes some interesting comments on how the law needs to be equally applied to ALL individuals. As well as touching upon the notion of tampering with evidence towards a pending investigation.

 

–Many reps seemed to question the shit out of the insurance policy, BMs investigation. So much to the point that much of the questions were targeted at the ever-popular notion of recusal. It was evident that the deep state is afraid. He is committed to doing his job IMPARTIALLY with no bias.

 

–When asked about border security, Barr was heavily pressed to focus on drug trafficking over more dangerous issues by some senators. CreepyCoryBooker. I personally like his stance on border security but shall exercise more patience with forthcoming accomplishments.

 

–I was a bit surprised the ShadyKamalaHarris talked about profitable prisons and thought she might tip her hand at asking about gitmo… but at this point I don’t think anyone has the guts to ask that question.

 

–It dawned on me how HRC was able to get away with tampering with her servers (evidence). I read his memo on 18 USC 1512 (c)(2) regarding BMs poor usage of this rule in a so-called ‘obstruction’ lens. Because HRC was not found guilty of the crime she was investigated for, hence there was no clear evidence of a crime or anticipated/actual proceedings, she could not be charged with obstruction. If I read the rule wrong, then let me know. OLC intended it to read as it should. However, should HRC be held to proceedings, she can still be charged. She was never charged, only investigated.

 

In closing, I will say this… many of his comments we neutral and in line with the questioning. One can’t ask more of an individual in a highly politicized setting, for the highest judiciary position, to answer the questions the way he did. MANY of his answers CAN be applied to HRC, and other corrupt things happening in our country… anti-trust laws (cough-cough). IMO, he has been very observant of things happening in our country and answered to that pretense.

 

The one question I am left with, after following Q since the beginning… is this our stealth bomber?

Has President Trump suckered Democrats and the Deep State into a trap that will enable a radical downsizing of the federal bureaucracy? In only five more days of the already "longest government shutdown in history" (25 days and counting, as of today), a heretofore obscure threshold will be reached, enabling permanent layoffs of bureaucrats furloughed 30 days or more.

 

Don't believe me that federal bureaucrats can be laid off? Well, in bureaucratese, a layoff is called a RIF – a Reduction in Force – and of course, it comes with a slew of civil service protections. But, if the guidelines are followed, bureaucrats can be laid off – as in no more job. It is all explained by Michael Roberts here (updated after the beginning of the partial shutdown):

 

A reduction in force is a thoughtful and systematic elimination of positions. For all practical purposes, a government RIF is the same thing as a layoff. …

 

Organizations must stick to predetermined criteria when sorting out what happens to each employee. They must communicate with employees how and why decisions are made. …

 

In deciding who stays and who goes, federal agencies must take four factors into account:

  1. Veteran status

 

  1. Total federal civilian and military service

 

  1. Performance

 

Agencies cannot use RIF procedures to fire bad employees.

I have always been a full time weed smoker.

Several years ago i had to take some tests at a college, several hours everyday, covering all subjects.

Did not study, had not been in school for years.

some of my scores put me in top 10 and top 5 percent of people who graduated HS and started college.
