WASHINGTON — A new number of Senate Democrats appear to be supporting the idea of physical barriers on the southern border.

Following the Senate votes that blocked President Donald Trump’s plan to fund the border and Senate Democrats’ plan to re-open the government, West Virginia Democratic Sen. Joe Manchin told The Daily Caller Thursday that Senate Democrats want some sort of structure on the border, and House Democrats are the holdouts on the issue. “On the Senate side, we understand. I don’t think any Senators … said they don’t want any secured structure fence or wall or whatever you want to call it,” he said.

Manchin is not alone. Other Democrats have expressed support for a border wall in the past month.

“I know we’re going to have to add additional border security … We’ve got about 700 miles of existing fencing. Where folks say we need additional barrier protections, I’m all for it,” Sen. Mark Warner told Fox News Channel’s Neil Cavuto on Wednesday.

Maine Democratic Sen. Angus King appeared on CNN’s “New Day” on January 7 and said, “Everybody is for border security. The question is, let’s do it in a rational, economic, sensible way. There are places where a wall makes sense.”

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi called walls “immoral,” but Delaware Democratic Sen. Chris Coons disagreed — telling Chris Wallace on “Fox News Sunday” on January 13, “I personally don’t think that a border wall is in and of itself immoral.”

Louisiana Republican Sen. Bill Cassidy tweeted several remarks from his colleagues within the Democratic caucus that showed they would be open to a border wall as well.

Other House Democrats have also spoken out in support for border wall funding including Minnesota Rep. Collin Peterson, California Rep. John Garamendi, California Rep. Katie Hill, Michigan Rep. Elissa Slotnick, New York Rep. Anthony Brindisi, Illinois Rep. Cheri Bustos, Washington Rep. Adam Smith, and Michigan Rep. Debbie Dingell.

Led by Virginia freshman Democratic Rep. Elaine Luria, thirty members within the caucus urged Speaker Pelosi in a letter to give Trump a vote on border security funding if he first agrees to end the shutdown, Politico reported.

“He’s not talking about a wall from sea to shining sea. That is not what we are talking about. We are talking about physical barriers as recommended by experts,” Luria said.

Trump proposed Thursday night for a “down payment” on a border wall as a condition to end the government shutdown temporarily, telling reporters it would be “some sort of pro-rated down payment on the wall.”

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi promptly rejected the proposal telling reporters as she walked off the floor it was not “reasonable.”

Border Patrol Seized Over $3 Million in Narcotics And $1 Million In Currency

US Customs and Border Protection seized $3,118,000 in cocaine and Methamphetamine and $1,153,135 in undeclared US currency along the border. The operation took place during the government shutdown at the Rio Grande Valley International Bridges. The seizures were separate and unrelated, according to CBP.

Border Patrol agents arrested 32 people with outstanding warrants, some using false documents to enter the US illegally, during the incident. CBP Field Operations Officers assigned to the Hidalgo, Pharr, and Anzalduas International Bridges were part of the operation.

The narcotics seizure amounted to 124.34 pounds (56.40 kg) cocaine, 108 pounds (49 kg) methamphetamine, and over 300 boxes/vials of steroids.

The Rio Grande Valley sector is the same area President Trump visited earlier in the month. SaraACarter.com spent nearly a week in McAllen covering the border crisis and illegal crossings in the porous sector. Carter reported live on Fox New’s Sean Hannity, showing exclusive footage that revealed two men from Bangladesh, designated by DHS as Special Interest Aliens, crossing into the United States.

Moreover, the Border Patrol agents were in the same area as Carter, near the Hidalgo-Reynosa International Bridge. They confiscated and identified the undeclared currency as it was moving outbound.

A man who approached police holding a mysterious "cylindrical object" has been shot dead following a car chase through a top secret nuclear test site.

From April 2010 through August 2016, in Philadelphia, the Indictment alleges that Dougherty, Burrows, Neill, Crawford, Rodriguez, Fiocca, and Massa conspired and agreed to embezzle Local 98 funds for their own personal use and the use of their family members, friends, and commercial businesses.

The Indictment charges that the defendants used union funds for personal and other unauthorized expenses, contrary to the provisions of the IBEW constitution, the by-laws of Local 98, and the beneficial interests of the members of Local 98. They also used these funds in violation of federal law. The Indictment continues that they used funds and assets of the Apprentice Training Fund for personal and other unauthorized expenses, contrary to the provisions of the Apprentice Training Fund’s trust agreement and ERISA. Additionally, the Indictment states that the defendants concealed the unlawful use of the funds and assets of Local 98 and the Apprentice Training Fund by falsely representing that the funds were being used for legitimate, business-related expenses.

The Indictment further charges Dougherty and Henon with multiple public corruption charges. The Indictment alleges that Dougherty and Henon defrauded the City of Philadelphia and its citizens of the right to Henon’s honest services as a member of City Council. According to the Indictment, Henon received a salary and other things of value from Dougherty and, in exchange, Henon used his position as a member of City Council to serve Dougherty’s interests.

“Union leaders and public officials have similar duties in our society,” said First Assistant U.S. Attorney Williams. “Whether it is a fiduciary duty to the union’s membership to spend union funds on union business, or a public official’s duty to provide honest services to his constituents, leaders in these kinds of roles must act in the best interests of others. They cannot use their public positions and influence to enrich themselves. If they do, it is a violation of their duties and of federal law.”

Sen. Sherrod Brown said he backs a proposal from Sen. Kamala Harris to abolish private health insurance.

"Who of all us have not had that situation where you have to wait for approval and the doctor says, 'I don't know if your insurance company is going to cover this.'"

To stimulate the debate at the European and world level, forming a basis for international legislation and policies addressing the use of remote technology weapons and/or methodologies, including: thought reading and thought control technologies, directed energy weapons (DEW), gang stalking (a.k.a. organized stalking) and ensuring citizens' protection.

To prompt recognition and acknowledgement of the stories of targeted individuals, instead of ignoring them and often labelling as 'crazy'.

Shedding those contracts would likely drive those companies under and cripple California’s ability to meet energy goals set by the state government.

U.S. Combats Child Marriage Abroad, Grants Thousands of Spousal Visas for Immigrant Kids

While the U.S. government advances policies to prevent child marriage in foreign countries it approves thousands of petitions filed by Americans seeking spouse or fiancé visas for children born abroad. In the last decade more than 8,500 petitions for spousal entry into the U.S. involved minors, according to government figures included in a Senate Homeland Security report (How the U.S. Immigration System Encourages Child Marriages) released this month.

In an overwhelming number of the cases girls were the younger party and in some there were “significant age differences,” Senate investigators found. Two were only 13 years old, 38 were 14 years old, 269 were 15 years old, and 1,768 were 16. The remaining 6,609 were 17 years old, according to the records which were obtained from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).

In a disturbing example, the agency approved a 71-year-old American citizen’s visa request for a 17-year-old spouse from Guatemala. In another, the agency granted a 14-year-old U.S. citizen’s petition for a 48-year-old spouse from Jamaica. USCIS also rubber-stamped 149 applications involving a minor with an adult spouse or fiancé over the age of 40. Nearly 5,000 minors in the United States on spousal or fiancé visas received green cards to become lawful permanent residents, federal figures show.

“U.S. law and U.S. Department of State policy aim to prevent and reduce the risks of child marriages occurring around the world, yet major loopholes in U.S. law have allowed thousands of minors to be subjected to child marriages,” the senate report states. “Under the Immigration and Nationality Act (“INA”), a U.S. child may petition for a visa for a spouse or fiancé living in another country, and a U.S. adult may petition for a visa for a minor spouse or fiancé living abroad.”

Two government agencies—USCIS and the State Department—must approve spouse or fiancé visas. The request is initially made to USCIS, which does not require parental or judicial consent for minors. Once the agency approves the application, the State Department usually issues the visa.

“The State Department returns or rejects few spousal or fiancé immigrant visa petitions after they are approved by USCIS,” the report states. Senate investigators spoke with a “child marriage victim” who was forced to marry her older cousin during a family vacation to Pakistan. USCIS approved her spousal immigration benefit when she was just 13 years old and throughout the forced marriage, she suffered physical and sexual abuse. “She is just one of the thousands of U.S. women and girls forced into a child marriage involving the U.S. immigration system,” the report says.

Ironically, the U.S. government launched an aggressive global campaign years ago to slash an epidemic of child marriages, rampant in third-world countries. India tops the list for child marriage (15.5 million), according to a global nonprofit committed to ending it and enabling girls to fulfill their potential. Two Latin American countries—Brazil (3 million) and Mexico (1.4 million)—also appear in the top ten.

As part of the U.S. campaign to reduce child marriage abroad, Congress passed a measure in 2013 requiring the secretary of state to establish and implement a multiyear strategy to “prevent child marriages” and “to promote the empowerment of girls at risk of child marriage in developing countries.” A few years later the State Department launched a Global Strategy to Empower Adolescent Girls to, among other things, “reduce the risk of child, early, and forced marriage (CEFM).”

In its lengthy strategy handbook, the agency revealed that there are nearly 700 million women alive today who were married as children and 15 million more are married each year. The State Department also writes that “forced marriage is a human rights abuse and, in the case of minors, a form of child abuse.” It also creates gender inequality, contributes to economic hardship and leads to “under-investment in girls’ educational and healthcare needs.” Why would the same agency approve thousands of visas for children—mostly girls—to enter forced marriages in the U.S.?

On the contrary, Vermont opium is condemned as being merely an extract of poppy leaves and stalks, with a little true opium juice, very variable in composition, and wholly unfit to replace the foreign drug except in very large doses. This defective quality is attributed to the mode of manufacture, described at length in the semi-weekly Tribune of March 5th by the inventor. The main features of this process are grinding and pressure, with use of some alcohol to extract the morphine. The juice thus obtained is dried, and then packed for sale. We agree with the Journal of Pharmacy that it must be impossible to obtain a .good quality of opium by this process, but we are uninformed whether the proper method obtains opium of good quality and in good quantity from poppies grown so far North. Mr. Robertson, the successful producer in Virginia, states that his experience is very limited, he having only cultivated the poppy in a garden on very rich soil, where the yield of opium was very great; he neither measured the land nor weighed the opium. He is satisfied that a deep rich soil is essential to a large yield; the poppy has a long tap root, which enables it to stand severe drought, provided the tap root can penetrate the soil to a sufficient depth. He thinks alluvial soils are best. The young plant is very tender, of slow growth, and cannot be successfully transplanted. The seed should be put in drills about three feet wide, the plants standing from one foot to eighteen inches apart, or even more, as it is a very vigorous grower. The single poppy he found to yield more opium than the double, and there is less trouble in obtaining it from the capsules. Only it does not require HAARP in distant Alaska with megawatts of RF radiated power to reconfigure clouds into moiré interference patterns. It is strongly speculated that nearby terrestrial transmitters can also do it. The frequency/wavelength can be discerned by the spacing of the peaks and troughs in the cloud grid.

The question is why. Anon has been observing and documenting such interference patterns in clouds since the late 1990s.

Navy Seal Reveals Secret Mission to Ancient Buried Structure in Antarctica

On January 23, Emmy award winning journalist, Linda Moulton Howe, released the video testimony of a new whistleblower discussing his highly classified mission to a large buried structure found in Antarctica. The whistleblower claims that in a classified mission conducted in 2003, he entered inside a very large octagon-shaped structure located near the Beardmore Glacier that extended down deep into the glacier’s icy interior.

The whistleblower is a retired U.S. Navy Seal who was first interviewed by Howe on July 19, 2018. He used the pseudonym Spartan 1 in Howe’s YouTube video where his face is shadowed out and his voice is altered to protect his identity. The Navy Seal says that ground penetrating radar had discovered the structure which was an eight-sided octagon, as Howe elaborated:

In 2003, a U.S. Navy Seal Special Operation team traveled to Antarctica to investigate a perfectly geometric 8-sided octagon structure discovered by ground penetrating radar near Beardmore Glacier, about 93 miles from the American McMurdo Station.

Another previous team of engineers and scientists had dug out the top layer of one octagon made of a pure black substance that was built on top of two more black octagonal structures that went down deep into the 2-mile-thick ice.

In the video the Navy Seal (aka Spartan 1) described the launch of his mission from an aircraft carrier voyaging near West Antarctica’s Ross Sea. He was taken by helicopter to McMurdo station, the largest U.S. base in Antarctica, and then taken by ground transport to the structure’s location.

Spartan 1 described entering a doorway approximately 50 feet under the ice. He estimated the walls of the structure as about 18 to 30 feet thick (6-10 meters) and the ceiling height at around 22-28 feet (7-9 meters). He said that the walls, ceiling and floor were made of a black basalt material that looked like shiny black marble.

The interior was heated to around 68-72 degrees Fahrenheit (20-22 Celsius), and was also lighted by a lime green source projected from the ceiling and floor. He did not see any heating or lighting equipment, which added to the mystery of the buried structure.

Only part of the structure, he stated, has been uncovered so far by the archeological teams, with the rest buried under the ice and extending far below. Ground penetrating radar had shown the structure to be an Octagon in shape, and covering an area of 62 acres (about 0.5 square kilometers).
