US Military Aircraft Head to Caribbean Countries - Cuban Foreign Ministry

 

Havana blasted what it presumes is the US government’s move to perform a military op in Venezuela under the disguise of a “humanitarian intervention”. President Maduro’s government, which is still in power in the country, has said it doesn’t need any help from the US, and that Venezuela has enough resources to cope with the crisis on its own.

 

Cuba’s foreign ministry has reported on flights made by US military non-combat aircraft from American military bases, where special ops units and marines are based, in the direction of Caribbean states, which Venezuela notably belongs to. The military units that the said bases house are known to be conducting “covert operations against other countries’ leaders”, the statement reads.

 

“Between 6 February and 10 February 2019, military non-combat aircraft conducted flights in the direction of Rafael Miranda airport in Puerto Rico, San Isidro Air Base in the Dominican Republic and other Caribbean islands that have strategic locations, while the countries’ governments were presumably unaware of the move,” the foreign ministry’s statement reads.

 

In light of this, the Cuban government has condemned the US government’s move to prepare “a military adventure under the cover of a “humanitarian intervention” in the Republic of Venezuela, the statements went on to say.

 

The Cuban foreign ministry called on the international community to prevent a military intervention in Venezuela’s domestic affairs.

 

“Cuba is urging other countries to act jointly, irrespective of political or ideological standoffs, in order to stop another imperialistic military intervention in Our America (Latin),” Cuba’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Bruno Rodriguez wrote on Twitter.

New Pyramid in Antarctica? Not Quite, Say Geologists

 

An Antarctic mountain with a unique, pyramid-like shape is suddenly internet-famous, with countless theorists contemplating its origin. Some are wondering whether an ancient civilization created the rocky, pyramidal structure, and others are pointing toward outer space, speculating about the involvement of aliens.

 

But Occam's razor — the idea that the simplest explanation is usually the right one — points to a far more mundane cause: Those steep, pyramid-like sides are likely the work of hundreds of millions of years of erosion, experts told Live Science.

 

"This is just a mountain that looks like a pyramid," Eric Rignot, a professor of Earth system science at the University of California, Irvine, told Live Science in an email. "Pyramid shapes are not impossible — many peaks partially look like pyramids, but they only have one to two faces like that, rarely four." [Photos: The World's Weirdest Geological Formations]

 

The pyramidal mountain, which doesn't have a formal name, is one of the many peaks that make up Antarctica's Ellsworth Mountains, which were discovered by the American aviator Lincoln Ellsworth during a flight on Nov. 23, 1935, according to a 2007 research paper that was published by the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS).

 

More specifically, the unnamed mountain — located at 79°58’39.25"S 81°57’32.21"W — is in the southern part of the Ellsworth Mountains in an area called Heritage Range, which is known for its extraordinary fossils, including those of Cambrian-period trilobites from more than 500 million years ago, according to a 1972 USGS report.

 

The mountain isn't that tall by planetary standards — just 4,150 feet (1,265 meters) — or a little less than one-fifth the height of Denali, the tallest mountain in North America, according to Google Earth. The mountain may not have Denali's height, but its unique pyramidal shape sets it apart, said Mauri Pelto, a professor of environmental science at Nichols College in Dudley, Massachusetts.

 

Freeze-thaw erosion likely led to its pyramid-like shape, Pelto said. This happens when snow or water fills up cracks within a mountain during the day. When night falls and temperatures drop, the snow freezes and expands, turning into ice. The expanding ice causes the cracks to grow, Pelto said.

 

This freeze-thaw erosion happens countless times, leading to the creation of larger cracks that can, eventually, cause entire rock sections to break off, he said. These forces likely also shaped other pyramidal mountains, including the Matterhorn in the Alps, he said. Three of the mountain's four sides appear to have eroded at about the same rate. "It suggests, since it came out so evenly, that the rock type is fairly uniform," Pelto said. "You don't have any rock layers that are harder to erode."

 

In other words, the nameless mountain is likely "all in one rock layer," Pelto said. "It's not a very big mountain, so it's not that surprising."

 

However, the eastern ridge of the mountain is decidedly the black sheep of the family. Instead of descending downward like the other ridges, that fourth side extends east, rising toward even higher terrain, Pelto said.

 

"The erosion probably wasn't as uniform [on the eastern side]," he said.

 

Pelto added that although some news outlets are saying that the mountain is newly discovered, that's very unlikely to be the case. There's a research base for climate scientists to the south of the mountain in an area known as the Patriot Hills.

 

"You can actually probably see this mountain from up there in the Patriot Hills," Pelto said.

 

As for the conspiracy theorists who are wondering about the mountain's pyramidal shape, "at least they're thinking about something," he said. "In the end, maybe they'll learn something in the process."

China cancels trade talks with Britain after warship threat by UK defense secretary

 

UK Defense Secretary Gavin Williamson has reportedly instigated a huge row at the heart of government after threatening to send a warship to the Pacific, prompting China to withdraw from trade talks with Chancellor Philip Hammond.

 

China’s Deputy PM Hu Chunhua, who was expected to hold talks with Hammond this weekend, has now dramatically pulled out of the engagement after Williamson’s menacing remarks on Monday, according to the Sun. The defense secretary said that the UK must “show [China] the high price of aggressive behavior.”

 

The fervent speech delivered by Williamson warned China and Russia of Britain’s “hard power,” and revealed that HMS ‘Queen Elizabeth,’ the country’s largest warship, would be deployed to the Pacific with two squadrons of UK and US F-35 fighter jets.

 

He argued that talking without acting “risks our nation being seen as little more than a paper tiger,” while China develops “its modern capability and commercial power.”

 

The diplomatic row, reportedly instigated by Williamson, is said to have enraged Tory government ministers, who see his British Empire 2.0 rhetoric as putting at risk access to Chinese markets that are worth billions of pounds.

 

“There is huge anger across cabinet. Gavin was partially inciting a war – the team knew China wouldn’t be happy,” a source told the Sun.

On April 28, 1975, Newsweek magazine published an article in which they sounded the alarm bell and proposed solutions to deliberately melt the ice caps:

This sounds very similar to today’s proposed solution of putting particles in the atmosphere to deflect the sunlight to reduce global warming.

 

Indeed, TIME magazine’s January 31, 1977, cover featured the cover story, “The Big Freeze.” They reported that scientists were predicting that Earth’s average temperature could drop by 20 degrees fahrenheit. Their cited cause was, of course, that humans created global cooling. Then suddenly the climate cycles shifted and it began to warm up.

TESLA DEMAND FELL OFF A CLIFF TO END 2018

 

China has been Tesla's second largest market, as the prominence of EVs across the Asian country has been the sole bright spot in an auto industry that stagnated and recessed heading into the start of 2019. But according to a report by Daily Kanban citing research done by the Manhattan-based JL Warren Capital, exports and sales to China have "fallen off a cliff" during the final quarter of 2018.

 

JL Warren Capital's lead analyst, Junheng Li, shared the new information in a recent note to her paying customers. According to the report, Tesla exports to and registrations in China nearly halved during the final quarter of 2018.

 

In October 2018, Tesla registrations were down 86% to just 211 for all of China, as we noted back in November. The number later recovered to -48% for the quarter. Exports to the country were "down accordingly".

Proposed Federal Law Will ‘Garnish Wages’ from Paychecks of Student Loan Holders

 

Consumer advocacy groups are calling the student loan paycheck deductions "mandatory wage garnishment" and are throwing up red flags.

 

As government subsides continue to flow into colleges across the country, the price of tuition continues to skyrocket, with some rates shooting up nearly 400% since 2000. Over the same period, as the price of college went up, median income in the US went down. This created the perfect storm for what we are currently witnessing right now—a black hole of student loan debt.

 

Basic economics teaches us that when the government subsidizes an industry, you get more of it. In fact, a study by the New York Federal Reserve found a direct correlation with an increase in government subsidies and and an increase in college tuition.

 

As more kids are told they need college for jobs—instead of going to trade school—they take advantage of these subsidized programs, which aren’t enough. So, they have to take out more loans to pay for school.

 

Because of this trend, Americans now owe over $1.56 trillion in student loan debt, spread out among roughly 45 million borrowers. That’s about $521 billion more than the total U.S. credit card debt.

 

Debt is not necessarily a bad thing as borrowing money to further your chances of making more money in the future can be a good plan—sometimes.

 

However, because of the subsidies, more kids going to college means more kids graduate which in turn floods the workforce with similar college degrees which makes it harder to use that business or general studies degree to find work. Many of these young adults entering the work force have a difficult time finding a job and end up in low-paying positions.

 

These low-paying jobs make it extremely difficult to pay back the mountain of debt many of them have accrued while seeking higher education. This, in turn, leads to default on a massive scale and a lifetime of debt.

 

According to the government statistics, 11.5% of student loans are 90 days or more delinquent or are in default. That is nearly 200 billion dollars.

Geneva to ban religious symbols on public employees

 

Geneva residents voted for a controversial new “secularism law”, which will among other things ban elected officials and public employees from wearing visible religious symbols.

More than 55 percent of voters in the Swiss canton backed the law, final results showed, despite warnings that it could lead to discrimination, particularly against Muslim women.

Some critics think it might violate the constitution.

Supporters say it will help clarify existing principles in the Geneva Constitution to protect the religious freedom of believers and non-believers alike.

The right-leaning cantonal parliament adopted the text last April. It also has the backing of Geneva’s three main religious communities, the Protestant Church, the Roman Catholic Church and the Old Catholic Church.

But the far left, the Greens, feminist organisations, unions and Muslim groups all opposed it, and collected enough signatures to force the issue to a public vote.

Critics claim the law will have an oppressive and discriminatory effect, with some condemning it as Islamophobic and warning that Muslim women who wear a headscarf are being targeted.

Teachers in Geneva are already banned from wearing visible religious symbols, including the hijab. The new text would extend this ban to elected officials and any local or cantonal public employees who comes in contact with the public.

Two legal appeals have been filed against the new text which could block it from being adopted, despite thes vote.

“I am hopeful that the courts will side with us, since this law goes against the Swiss Constitution and the European Convention on Human Rights”, Sabine Tighemounine, a local elected official for the Green Party who wears a Muslim headscarf, told the ATS news agency.

The vote did not spell final defeat, she said. “The process is just getting started.”

Who’s afraid of a looming layoff? Blind, a social network that anonymously connects employees with others in their workplaces, asked its users that question last week, and nearly 9,000 responded.

 

Overall, the news was good—64 percent are feeling their positions are quite secure right now, answering “No” to the question, “Are you worried about layoffs at your current company?” But that sense of security isn’t spread equally across the tech industry.

 

Among the most worried are tech professionals at Tesla, with 77 percent answering yes, followed by eBay (72 percent are worried) and Snapchat (71 percent are worried), SAP and VMware (some 66 percent are worried at both). Over at Cisco, PayPal, and Intel, about half of the respondents are concerned about possible layoffs. Meanwhile, such thoughts aren’t keeping too many tech workers up at night at Uber (20 percent), LinkedIn (15 percent), Facebook (12 percent) or Google (11 percent).

As I drove over Westminster Bridge at 5am for an TV interview, the sun was shining and I saw the Union flag flying majestically over Parliament and thought, we've taken back control of our sovereignty and our flag, the symbol of Great Britain, has real meaning again. I had a tear in my eye, excitement in my stomach and a spring in my step. And now those feelings are crushed.

 

I do not think Brexit will be delivered, ever.

 

We have a Remain prime minister, leading a Remain government, with a Remain Opposition, sending a Remain civil servant to Remain Brussels to discuss Brexit. What could possibly go wrong?

Trillion-dollar-valued Amazon pays $0 in income taxes for 2018, gets multi-million refund

 

Trillion-dollar-company Amazon skated through 2018's tax filings without paying a cent for the second year in a row. The e-commerce behemoth, which made $11 billion last year, will pay no taxes at all, thanks to 2017's tax reform.

 

Rather than pay the standard 21 percent corporate income tax rate, Amazon is actually claiming a tax rebate of $129 million, which works out to a logic-defying rate of -1 percent. Aside from the nebulous “tax credits,” which the company does not have to spell out in its public filings, Amazon is also claiming a tax break for executive stock options, according to the Institute for Taxation and Economic Policy – a longstanding loophole that permits profitable corporations to dodge federal and state income taxes on almost half their profits.

 

While President Donald Trump’s 2017 tax reform legislation lowered corporate tax rates from 35 percent to 21 percent, it was sold as an incentive for companies to keep their money in the US, instead of stashing it overseas where the IRS couldn’t touch it. Now that Amazon and Netflix have both made headlines for using the new regulations to avoid paying anything at all, it remains to be seen whether the legislation’s failure to close corporate loopholes will leave the US holding the bag for fiscal year 2018 as the country’s national debt inches past $22 trillion – a record high.

 

Amazon’s tax windfall doesn’t even take into account the billions in tax breaks the state governments of Virginia and New York offered the company to open a second (and third) headquarters in their states, though there are rumors that New York is getting cold feet about the unprecedented corporate giveaway. Amazon didn’t pay any taxes in 2017 either, though it raked in a comparatively paltry $5.6 billion in profits and extracted a slightly larger $137 million refund.

The fentanyl that killed Chavez was among 1,000 pills sneaked across the border crossing last year in Nogales, Arizona by a woman who was paid $200 to tote them and gave two to Chavez at the party, according to court documents. It’s unknown if he took one or both.

At the same crossing last month, U.S. officials announced their biggest fentanyl bust ever—nearly 254 pounds seized from a truckload of cucumbers, enough to potentially kill millions. Valued at $3.5 million, most was in powder form and over 2 pounds was made up of pills.

The tablets in most cases are manufactured in primitive conditions with pill presses purchased online and the amount of fentanyl in each pill can vary widely, Wildblood said.

“There is no quality control,” he said.

US Company that Smuggled Weapons Into Venezuela Linked to CIA Renditions

 

GREENSBORO, NORTH CAROLINA – Two executives at the company that chartered the U.S. plane that was caught smuggling weapons into Venezuela last week have been tied to an air cargo company that aided the CIA in the rendition of alleged terrorists to “black site” centers for interrogation. The troubling revelation comes as Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro has rejected a U.S. “humanitarian aid” convoy over concerns that it could contain weapons meant to arm the country’s U.S.-backed opposition.

 

Last Tuesday, Venezuelan authorities announced that 19 rifles, 118 ammo magazines, 90 radios and six iPhones had been smuggled into the country via a U.S. plane that had originated in Miami. The authorities blamed the United States government for the illicit cargo, accusing it of seeking to arm U.S.-funded opposition groups in the country in order to topple the current Maduro-led government.

 

A subsequent investigation into the plane responsible for the weapons caché conducted by McClatchyDC received very little media attention despite the fact that it uncovered information clearly showing that the plane responsible for the shipment had been making an unusually high number of trips to Venezuela and neighboring Colombia over the past few weeks.

 

Steffan Watkins, an Ottawa-based analyst, told McClatchy in a telephone interview that the plane, which is operated by U.S. air cargo company 21 Air, had been “flying between Philadelphia and Miami and all over the place, but all continental U.S.” during all of last year. However, Watkins noted that “all of a sudden in January, things changed” when the plane began making trips to Colombia and Venezuela on a daily basis, sometimes multiple times a day.

 

According to Watkins’ analysis, this single plane had conducted 40 round-trip flights from Miami International Airport to Caracas and Valencia — where the smuggled weapons had been discovered — in Venezuela, as well as to Bogota and Medellin in Colombia in just the past month.

 

Publicly available flight radar information shows that the plane, although it has not returned to Venezuela since the discovery of its illicit cargo, has continued to travel to Medellin, Colombia, as recently as this past Monday.

I already wrote that I think it is a good sign because in my interpretation of the things, it telegraphs that a big move against Jewish collective power is going to occur, and the convoy is probably being put in place to protect racial Jews from getting harassed just for being Jews.

 

But there are some ways things could go wrong with it, and no disrespect to the people who are heading the project, I think it might be a good thing to put what you are about to read on the table:

The only way any one can ever eradicate anti-Semitism from anywhere is by eradicating Jewish privileged FIRST. What is Jewish privilege? Its being able to silence and censor people online and IRL, its being able to get away with shameless nepotism without being able to be called out for it, its having in place "hate"-speech and "hate"-crime laws that make it possible to silence anyone they don't want using their 1st Amend rights.

 

If you try to persecute, censor and/or harass people into not making criticisms on Jewish collective power, zionism and/or zionism you will fail at your mission in two ways:

A)

You will be turning your mission into nothing more than glorified censorship and harassment in order to benefit 2% of the US population at the expense of the 1st Amend rights of the other 98%, thus becoming a subversive agent yourself; and

B)

You will be increasing anti-Semitism levels in the short, medium and long-term, because if you fall into that trap, you're going to be validating anti-Semitic sentiments in full. Obviously, this will only increase inter-racial and inter-religious tensions between Jews and Gentiles, and you'll be forced to keep escalating the harassment and censorship levels until the whole thing explodes in everyone's faces.

If you don't create projects to combat anti-White, anti-Black, anti-EveryOtherRace concurrently while you combat anti-Semitism, you're going to end up giving once again, special privileges to 2% of the population, which will once again, have the opposite effect you seek, which is to reduce the inter-racial tensions between Jews and Gentiles. Loxism and anti-White racism is not only accepted by Social Media platforms and the MSM (both mostly directed by Jews), its actually being promoted and protected. If you want to reduce racial tensions, attack ALL forms of racist speech, or you'll only be increasing said racial tensions.

If your project seeks to protect the "religious freedoms" of Jews, then I am afraid that your project is already doomed to failure from the start, because you'll be opening the way for people to say that if you protect the "right" for Jews to mutilate their children's genitals for religious reasons, then why shouldn't Muslims be allowed to do it?

If you make it your mission to try to protect the "religious freedom" ritual of religious motivated male genital mutilation of Jewish children, you're going to make your mission to go against Western values from the get go, and once again, you're going to be acting like a subversive agent yourself, in other words, you're going to be making yourself an internal enemy of the American Republic.

And the problems with trying to squash criticism of Judaism from the public discussion goes beyond the barbaric act of religious motivated circumcision, its a fact that Judaism has its own form of seditious Sharia Law, the Moser concept, and that Judaism is based on Jewish racial supremacy, according to the Torah itself.

In 2012, the Justice Department accused the El Chapo-led Sinaloa Cartel of moving over $7 billion through HSBC bank locations inside Mexico. Honestly this is an amazingly thorough list of dig targets, and frankly where a lot of effort should be directed off of the main board. If the topics are sourced properly, with diligent protection from shilling attacks, quite a few of these could be expected to generate significant shifts and influence of MSM content (which honestly is an under appreciated value of the work done here.)

 

However, I think this is too broad and inclusive of a list. The topics should be broken out into several boards. This would make them easier to protect, and make the resources & data easier to use (and populate.) For instance, "Media" is a huge topic, with influence & corruption currently only being examined at the highest levels of management. There's tremendous depth to this, particularly when you realized how deeply the influence model goes down into newsrooms and staffs. Same goes for utilization of social media platforms for mass influence, funding, and audience access control. Similarly, historical models of weaponizing mass communication, narrative promulgation and manufacture of consent; all are part of a very complex model going back hundreds (thousands) of years.

Bill Gates yesterday claimed he had paid too little tax and did not deserve to be so rich.

The 63-year-old, who is worth around £73billion, said he and other business barons should have to contribute more.

In an interview with the Mail, he said: ‘I have paid more than $10billion (£7.75billion) in taxes but I should have paid more. I more than followed the law but I think things should be more progressive.’

The father-of-three made his fortune after founding Microsoft in 1975. It is now one of the world’s most valuable companies.

 

Mr Gates, who stepped back from his day-to-day role in 2008, is one of a handful of billionaires who have promised to leave most of their fortunes to good causes rather than to their children.

With his 54-year-old wife he runs the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, which is dedicated to tackling poverty and disease in poorer countries.

‘I don’t deserve my fortune,’ Mr Gates added. ‘Nobody does. It has come through timing, luck, and through people I worked with. I certainly worked hard and I think software has been a beneficial thing, but I benefited from a structure too.

‘I don’t think giving the money to my children would be good for them or good for society.

‘So after whatever consumption I have, and after some left aside for the kids and for taxes, the rest of the money goes to the foundation.

He said he was in favour of raising inheritance tax. In the US, parents can leave almost £9million to their heirs without being subject to tax.

‘I’m a big fan of transparency,’ he said. ‘In terms of corporate tax, if people want to collect more from different types of companies then we need to change the law.’

His comments came as he and his wife published their annual letter setting out their main concerns about the world. They highlighted how nationalism was endangering global co-operation on important health issues.

The couple were first spurred into philanthropy after reading in a newspaper about hundreds of thousands of children dying of diarrhoea in poor parts of the world.

Since then global health schemes – with help from governments and charities such as their foundation – have helped save millions of lives that would otherwise have been lost to diseases such as HIV, tuberculosis and malaria.

Mr Gates claimed these schemes were under threat.

In his letter, he said: ‘I worry that wealthy countries are turning inward and will take such a limited view of their own self-interest that they’ll decide these efforts aren’t worth the cost.

‘Or that even if everyone agrees in principle that aid is important, they’ll be so polarized that their political allegiances will keep them from taking action.’

Mrs Gates added: ‘Strengthening health systems overseas decreases the chance of a deadly pathogen like ebola becoming a global epidemic.

‘And ensuring every parent everywhere has the opportunity to raise safe, educated, healthy kids makes it less likely they will embark on desperate journeys to seek better lives elsewhere.

The UK Government teamed up with the Gates Foundation in 2016 to commit £3billion to fighting malaria.

Mr Gates said other organisations that would need further funding this year and next include the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, and Gavi, which improves access to vaccines among children in poor countries. In their letter, the couple also called for the collection of better data on women’s lives in developing countries.

They also said action was needed to cut carbon emissions.

FOX 11 confronts Democratic donor Ed Buck amidst investigation into 2 deaths at his apartment

 

WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif. (FOX 11) - Democratic donor Ed Buck told a FOX 11 crew to “get a life” and that he doesn’t want to talk when confronted at his West Hollywood apartment Wednesday evening as he remains under investigation for the deaths of two gay black men inside of his residence.

In July 2017, Gemmell Moore was found dead inside of Buck’s apartment off of Laurel Ave. His death was ruled an accidental meth overdose, and he had written in his journal that Buck had given him his first injection of crystal meth.

Prosecutors declined to press charges against Buck in relation to Moore’s death.

On January 7th, Timothy Dean also died inside of Buck’s apartment. His official cause of death has not been released.

Days after Dean’s death, black lives matter activists gathered in front of Buck’s apartment to call for his prosecution.

Wednesday evening, a resident of Buck’s building invited FOX 11 inside the property, where we confronted him.

Buck declined to answer any questions, said he didn’t want to talk and told the FOX 11 crew to “get a job, get a life.”

When pressed with questions about two men being found dead inside his apartment, Buck appeared to respond “Yeah, and I’m gonna die in here soon too.”

Dean and Moore’s deaths are both still under investigation by the Los Angeles County Sheriffs Departments Homicide Bureau, and Buck has not been charged.

His attorney, Seymour Amster, has long maintained that Buck has done nothing wrong.

Amster declined an interview with FOX 11 on Wednesday.

The lawsuit, filed by Children’s Health Defense (CHD) attorney, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. on behalf of Informed Consent Action Network(ICAN), a vaccine safety advocacy group, sought all clinical trial data used by FDA to approve influenza vaccines for pregnant women. The FDA’s terse reply: “We have no records responsive to your requests.”

 

The manufacturers of flu and Tdap vaccines warn against their use for pregnant mothers since their safety has never been established. Package inserts state that it is “not known” whether the vaccines “will harm an unborn baby” and there are “insufficient data” on use in pregnant women to inform vaccine-associated risks. FDA regulations strictly prohibit pharmaceutical companies from marketing products for “off-license” uses. Noncompliant companies are routinely prosecuted criminally and civilly, paying billions in lawsuits and settlements.

 

The CDC nevertheless has actively recommended influenza vaccination during any trimester of pregnancy since 2004 and has told pregnant women to get Tdap shots (for tetanus, diphtheria and pertussis) since 2011. The FDA is responsible for vaccine safety and licensing, but, in the just-released court documents, it admits that it has no safety data to back up the pregnancy recommendations. FDA’s website states that it has never formally approved any vaccines “specifically for use during pregnancy to protect the infant.”

 

Blanket recommendations for vaccination during pregnancy are a dangerous proposition due to vaccination’s ability to activate a maternal immune response that can damage the developing fetal brain—just as infections during pregnancy sometimes do. If you're looking to bet on the various people who can muck up the 2020 presidential election, you can do worse than put a little early money on Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, Democrat of Hawaii, whose flea-on-a-griddle semi-progressivism is beginning to look less like charming eccentricity, and more like calculated mischief. She's positioning herself for a possible run at the nomination herself, if there's room for someone whose history says she's more offended by Hawaii senator Mazie Hirono than she is by Bashar al-Assad in Syria. Let me explain, but first, let me tell you about my grandfather, for whom I am named.

 

Charlie Gibbons was a sign-painting man in Worcester, Massachusetts. Some worry that such influence can actually distort the church's ecclesiology, its structure and its governance…

If funding is any indication, however, the Knights are deeply engaged in the culture wars with some of the largest grants going to the loudest and most influential participants in the church and the public square. In 2014, a total of $1 million, in three separate amounts, went to the Susan B. Anthony Foundation, an aggressive anti-abortion organization most recently campaigning to defund Planned Parenthood. The foundation can be as highly partisan as it is anti-abortion, even opposing pro-life Democrats.

Border Security Bill Provides Aid, Buses, Legal Shields to Migrants

 

Democrat legislators added numerous aid and welfare programs in the 2019 spending bill to support the growing wave of economic migrants, even as they agreed to provide $1,375 billion for construction of a border wall.

 

The border spending bill for the Department of Homeland Security offers “$192,700,000 for improved medical care, transportation, and consumables to better ensure the health and safety of migrants who are temporarily in U.S. Customs and Protection] custody,” according to a congressional Explanatory Statement of the provisions.

 

The spending includes funds to aid and feeds economic migrants as they journey across the border towards jobs in U.S. cities, as well as funds to bus the migrants from the border to pro-migration non-profits:

 

To facilitate these additional requirements, the conferees provide $192,700,000 above the request to include $128,000,000 for contract medical professionals, $40,200,000 for increased consumable commodities such as food, infant formula and diapers.

Within the $114,147,000 increase above the fiscal year 2018 funding level for the Transportation and Removal Program, ICE is directed to provide for the transportation of migrants to such shelters based on where collaborating organizations have open sheltering capacity, including during surge periods. The flow of cheap workers to U.S. cities is a boon to business groups because it lowers their payroll costs and spikes their sales of food, autos, and housing to migrants. The bill was drafted by a panel of 17 GOP and Democrat legislators who sit on the House and Senate appropriations committees. However, none of the GOP members on the panel are immigration experts, while the Democrat side included several legislators who are determined to raise the inflow of migrants. President Donald Trump warned Monday that the spending plan likely would include “landmines.”

The Becket Fund for Religious Liberty, a legal group that has carried the fight for the U.S. bishops and the Little Sisters of the Poor against the contraception mandate in the Affordable Care Act, received $300,000 in one 2014 donation and an additional $25,000 from the Knights of Columbus as "a sponsor of the Canterbury Medal." Supreme Knight Anderson received the award in 2007, and Chaput in 2009. The Little Sisters of the Poor had received $100,000 in 2013 and another $20,000 in 2015 to "support facility improvements." The Becket Fund received another $25,000 in 2015.

To me, if you "target" a candidate, you lose your tax-exempt status by that afternoon, but that's just me. However, and most significantly for our immediate purposes, there's this.

 

The Knights gave $50,000 each year, in 2014 and 2015, to the Federalist Society, described in a recent New Yorker article as "a nationwide organization of conservative lawyers" whose executive vice president, Leonard Leo, "served, in effect, as Trump's subcontractor on the selection of [Neil] Gorsuch" as nominee, eventually confirmed, for justice to the Supreme Court. Aside from Leo's reputation as a devout Catholic, the society is thoroughly secular and largely an operation benefiting the Republican Party.

Which brings us to Gabbard's most recent trip to wonderland.

 

At issue is the nomination of one Brian Buescher to be a judge on the federal district court in Nebraska. Buescher is a bog-standard Trump judicial nominee—a career activist, hip-deep in the wingnut side of the culture wars, as the Leadership Conference on Civil Rights was quick to point out when his name was placed in nomination.

 

Mr. Buescher is a political operative and partisan warrior. His ideological views were most prominently on display in 2014 when he ran unsuccessfully to be the Nebraska Attorney General, but he has worked behind the scenes for years on behalf of Republican candidates and causes. According to his Senate questionnaire, he has worked as a campaign volunteer on 14 different Republican campaigns, and he has contributed thousands of dollars to Republican candidates.

In addition, he has served as a Nebraska Republican Party State Central Committee member, Nebraska Republican Party Convention Delegate, Nebraska Republican Party Finance Chair, Nebraska Republican Party Rules Committee Chair, Nebraska Republican Party Resolutions Committee Chair, Nebraska Republican Party Volunteer Legal Counsel, Douglas County, Nebraska Republican Party Chair, Omaha Young Republicans Chair, and treasurer of the University of Nebraska College Republicans. Such deep political connections would, at a minimum, cast significant doubt on whether Mr. Buescher would be able to check his politics at the courthouse door if he became a judge.

Beyond that. Buescher is a muckety-muck in the K of C, as we used to call the Knights. Given the fact that the Knights seem to have politicized themselves in a big way, and that one of the ways they did it was to give money to the Federalist Society, to which the president* has subcontracted the job of staffing the federal courts, Senator Hirono has been grilling Buescher about his membership in the K of C and whether or not he can be trusted to leave the beads in chambers when he takes the bench.

 

This has given Gabbard another opportunity to dive into the spotlight, this time at the expense of a colleague in the Hawaiian congressional delegation. From The Hill:

I really think you're on to something, one board or more; this is one aspect of the larger project which stands to create informed & lasting change in the understanding of how mass communication can be weaponized. We must call this out for what it is – religious bigotry. To repeat, Hirono is not questioning Buescher's faith or anything like it. She is quite logically inquiring whether or not his membership in a highly politicized lay organization will affect his judgment on critical issues that might come before the court, issues that Buescher already is on record for having taken a side on during his days as a conservative activist in Nebraska. (The guy ran for attorney general in Nebraska, for pity's sake.) Hirono is doing nothing more than being "concerned about their views, opinions, or their commitment to uphold their constitutional duties," which Gabbard concedes is part of their duties as members of the national legislature.

 

The Knights of Columbus, for all their charitable work and their gifts for accessorizing, are not a religion. They have chosen to involve themselves in secular politics through their support for the Federalist Society and their targeting of certain political candidates. They can't hide themselves in the gospels now, and Mazie Hirono should tell Tulsi Gabbard to go suck up to another dictator and stop trying to run for president on Mazie's coattails.

So it appears that Q has replaced most of the original images from this morning. The original images contained metadata, specifically a photoshop creation timestamp. I missed an image this morning and re-downloaded the entire set, just to be safe. Upon comparing the first image set and the second image set, I notice that most of the files had changed, most noticeably the file sizes, but further exploration showed missing metadata and modified image data.

 

What does this mean?

1 - the bossman and his team have access to the 8chan CDN and can replace files as needed

2 - The metadata was never meant to be released

3 - There might be something good hiding in the original version of the images.

4 - being that multiple images have changed change and Q stated the sequence was important, information might be fragmented across multiple images.

The Senate voted Thursday to confirm William Barr as attorney general.

 

Barr, who previously served as attorney general under President George H.W. Bush, was confirmed 51–45 largely along party lines, with Republicans backing the president’s nominee and Democrats opposing.

In the memo, Barr argued that Mueller’s reported interest in whether Trump obstructed justice by firing former FBI director James Comey was misguided.

 

“As I understand it, his theory is premised on a novel and legally insupportable reading of the law,” Barr wrote. “Moreover, in my view, if credited by the Justice Department, it would have grave consequences far beyond the immediate confines of this case and would do lasting damage to the Presidency and to the administration of law within the Executive branch.”

 

During his confirmation hearing, Barr told lawmakers that DOJ ethics officials found that his prior commentary on Mueller’s investigation did not constitute a justification for his recusal from overseeing the probe.

 

Asked during the hearing to commit to making the entirety of Mueller’s findings public when his investigation eventually concluded, Barr told lawmakers he would make public as much as possible but did not make any specific commitments.

 

“I am not going to do anything that I think is wrong, and I will not be bullied into doing anything I think is wrong,” Barr said. “By anybody — whether it be editorial boards, or Congress, or the President. I’m going to do what I think is right.”

An examination of the Wikileaks DNC files shows they were created on 23, 25 and 26 May respectively. The fact that they appear in a FAT system format indicates the data was transfered to a storage device, such as a thumb drive.

 

How do we know? The truth lies in the “last modified” time stamps on the Wikileaks files. Every single one of these time stamps end in even numbers. If you are not familiar with the FAT file system, you need to understand that when a date is stored under this system the data rounds the time to the nearest even numbered second.

 

We have examined 500 DNC email files stored on Wikileaks and all 500 files end in an even number—2, 4, 6, 8 or 0. If a system other than FAT had been used, there would have been an equal probability of the time stamp ending with an odd number. But that is not the case with the data stored on the Wikileaks site. All end with an even number.

As QResearch develops, there's a need not just to collect individual pieces of data but to go deeper–which is what happened with the Alabama digg.
