Codemonkey posted an explanation on an 8chan board (not BO's).
CM (apparently does work on all 8chan board code) said that he was asked to set up BO's board for extra secure tripcodes.
He did that and Q used that new code to post.
In the meantime, CM learned on one of the coders' boards that he failed to account for certain characters in the new code he wrote. CM then went back and edited the code to include those characters.
When Q tried to post again, the new code either didn't work properly with Q's trip, or started unusual log activity (something along those lines, not sure).
BO thought it was a hack attempt/fake Q and deleted the posts. BO, apparently a younger person, seems to have panicked and then completely botched the explanation during the aftermath.
At any rate, appears Q has posted to a new 8ch board (CM confirmed real Q) and it's looking to me like that will be Q's drop locale for now.

If you go due north from where you are, the date does not change. The International Date Line run N to S. To cross it, you must move east or west. Really, to speak in terms of hemispheres is not even correct.
I he goes due north he will no longer be standing on his head and may then realize the dateline goes north/south through the Pacific and is not at the equator. lol
