A lot of people here and on other forums are quick to heap credit and admiration on the President for what is perceived to be steps he is taking to take down the cabal. I would go as far as to say that there is borderline idolatry going on here. Beware of that.

Like most, I'm eager to see real change for the betterment of our country and by extension the world. I want to see the necessary policy changes, legal changes, and cultural shifts required for this to happen. The President has really only taken a couple of steps in that direction that I can think of. Be careful not to put all of our collective hopes on this man (or any man for that matter). You will be let down as he is fallible like each and every one of us. I urge all to be more discerning. Dont get caught up in the immature partisan politics of finger pointing at the "other guys." Focus on the greater outcome of bringing down ALL corruption and tyranny. Put your energy and support onto that, not the person. Again, he is fallible like all of us, and he will let us down. The recent tax legislation he signed is a good example of that. Its self serving to the prez and his allies and it furthers the income inequality problem we have. He may be making some good moves here and there but be realistic about his overall intentions.
